Nestled in woodland just a few miles inland from the wonderfully rugged and sandy coast of the Pembrokeshire National Park, this pretty cluster of whitewashed stone and Welsh slate cottages is a haven of family-friendly tranquillity. The handy list of nursery kit, play area and a clutch of friendly farm animals makes them especially well suited to families with little ones, whilst there's a warm welcome for the family pet too.
The 32-acre estate is home to just five cottages so, even when fully booked, often the only time you'll catch sight of other guests is during one of the regular animal feeding and egg collecting sessions. These have toddlers squealing with delight as they experience real life 'Old MacDonald's farm' and are invited to collect eggs or hand feed the friendly brood of chickens, pigs, donkeys, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Apart from that, Fron Fawr is best described as a fabulously tranquil slice of rural life, only a short drive from the coast, and the perfect place to let little ones roam free.
