6, Bluestone Point, is a stunning, two bedroom apartment situated in Mortehoe, North Devon, just a short distance from the award-winning Woolacombe beach. The first floor, dog friendly apartment, comfortably sleeps up to four and benefits from its own private parking space. The apartment, which has a good-sized balcony overlooks the headland and Atlantic Ocean.

Booked a 3 night stay here as wanted a base to explore North Devon. The flat is a good size and in a quiet area. The partial sea view is great and its good that there is a dedicated parking space or parking would be an issue. While the flat is lovely it is in need of some repair- particularly the balcony doors as they are very difficult to shut. The bedroom one in particular & I did not open it after the first time for fear of not being able to shut it again! The freezer also needs repair as it was so iced up it was unusable.

Good base for a short break if you have a dog with you.

We had a lovely short stay in Bluestone Point in Mortehoe. It was easy to find and get the keys. The apartment was on the 1st floor. Stairs or a lift to access it. It was clean and well equipped. Lovely partial sea view from the balcony. Excellent to have a decent sized allocated parking space. Thank you for the welcome treats of fudge, milk and teabags. Very welcome after a long journey.

The campsite shop 2 mins walk along the road was useful to get more milk, etc.

The carpets showed some signs of wear and had a dog smell coming from them when we arrived, so that might be a consideration for people who don’t have dogs. The £50 dog fee was rather high in our opinion.

We were lucky enough to stay when the weather was particularly warm. Winter weight duvets were on the beds. A thinner duvet and top sheet would have made sleeping more comfortable.

Overall a good base for a mini-break if you have a dog with you.
