Seagulls is a charming coastal holiday cottage in Cornwall sleeping 11 people in 5 bedrooms with stunning views of the picturesque river. Situated in St Mawes just across the rivers from Falmouth you can enjoy everything Cornwall has to offer from the beaches to the popular fishing villages.

Disappointed after over 38 yrs of having no problems with other holiday rentals

House exterior is surrounded by weeds, patio has planters with dead plants in. Kitchen cupboard door hanging off.
Cheap, oilcloth on dining table had hole in. Some bath towels literally threadbare. No owners manual just a basic sheet of paper on notice board in kitchen. No medical kit that we could locate easily. Patio has two sets of steps to the steep garden. The plastic pull out mesh gate at top of steps broken. The steamer sun loungers we took the end bit off and used as chairs because when you sit upright the end bit detaches.
One of the sofas in the living room has the webbing and stuffing hanging out underneath.
We could not get condensing tumble dryer to work, it was flashing fault code.
Overall for the price the only bonus was location, but compared with similar properties with waterfront it is overpriced.
We have just booked another creekside property for next year for the same price and accommodating the same number of people in a more desirable area. I would suggest owners invest in outside appearance and interior decor, furnishings and patio area.

Our fourth visit to Seagulls in St Mawes and yet again it didn’t disappoint. I always feel sad leaving this property as I know how much I will miss the magical view, wonderful walks and the peace and tranquility of such a beautiful location. Already looking to book again for next year

Third time and still delivers!. The 1980’s decor is all part of the charm. Well equipped kitchen and loads of storage inside and outside. Good garden for dogs!

Tranquil setting being at the end of a private driveway, with ample parking and fantastic views. Walk available from the bottom of the garden along the estuary. Short walk down to the centre of St Mawes. Comfortable seating and dining for our party of 7. Beds quite firm but overall very spacious well equipped accommodation. Amanda very helpful with booking queries. Good directions given to the property. Consensus from our party was that we loved our stay at Seagulls and St Mawes and also taking the ferry to Falmouth.

We were a 3 generation family who had a wonderful week in Seagulls. The position was perfect for supping and swimming and an easy walk into St. Mawes. The view from the bedrooms was stunning and the gardens a haven for the children and dogs. Equipment plentiful and clothes washing facilities set in utility room which included a shower for the water babes! Perfect!

This is our second stay at Seagulls, and we hope to return. It is a very comfortable, clean holiday home in probably the best location in St Mawes. Everything you could need is provided and there are spectacular views from most rooms and the terrace and garden. Lovely that they allow dogs to stay. Huge, dog proof garden, that runs down to the sea. A very pretty and quiet beach just a few minutes walk along the coast path at the bottom of the garden and St Mawes centre just a very pleasant 10/15 minute stroll away. Great value and highly recommended.

We had the most wonderful stay in your house. It was perfect for us - three generations from 2.5 to 80 years old - spacious and so close to the water for crabbing, paddle boarding and boating. The house was so charming and we just LOVED it thankyou
