The Paddock is stunning! Set in an almost silent cul-de-sac and surrounded by large, beautiful houses, this was the most impressive property we gave ever stayed in. It was very comfortably furnished with plenty of settees and chairs, four fully reclining and beanbags, to suit everyone. The front lounge is large, clean and comfortable with a large TV and open fireplace. To the back is a spacious lounge with full recliners, bean bags and a massive TV offering a hone cinema feel. The spacious dining room has a large table set out for 10 people. The kitchen is very well appointed ...more
As you walk up to the front door a hidden courtyard garden and a great view reveals itself. A great spot for a BBQ. Inside the cottage there is plenty of space with all the necessary facilities. It is a good location to explore Edinburgh, Glasgow, Loch Lomond and we even made it to Loch Ness! Thanks for great holiday.
Perfect.Ideal location .Well equipped and very comfortable ……………………….,.,………………. ………. ……..
We loved the apartment. Christine the owner is just fabulous. The apartment is immaculately clean and there’s nothing that hasn’t been thought of. I would highly recommend the apartment and would certainly return if we visit Stirling again. You can walk from the apartment into town and the bus and train stations are only a walk away if you want to leave the car parked up. ⭐️⭐️
Our stay at The Lindsay House was perfect. We have stayed several times and always appreciate the generous and thoughtful extra touches. You won't find a kinder or more responsive (and patient!) property manager! We are so comfortable here - wonderful linens and beds and everything is so very clean and well-maintained. The location adds to the great experience. The Lindsay House is in a beautiful area of Stirling, close to incredible parks, historical sites, and public transportation. We cannot say enough about our stay and love having "a home away from home". THANK YOU!
This property was of the finest quality and craftsmanship set in the nicest country location easy to access and very serene! The host (Irene) was extremely accommodating and charming, and very professional in introducing us to her property. She explained everything with safety as the most important to us as her guests. The property was extremely well appointed and comfortable at the same time for us a family of 6.
Lovely house, lots of space. Beds were comfy and thought if pretty much everything you might need. Clearer signed parking area at back may have helped but would come back
A nice place, well located to see Stirling and in excellent condition. The owner was helpful and quick to respond when we had a query. Would recommed for anyone looking to stay in the area.
From the first dealings with Stirling Self Catering to the final day departure, this was an excellent stay . Very friendly supportive team, lovely ground floor modern “as new” flat , perfect for us, adult daughter and well behaved dog. Highly recommended. Less than an hour to Edinburgh and other great tourist spots.
Higginsneuk is a charming property that has considered almost all visitor needs. The overall standard of the property is excellent, very clean and well maintained with comfortable beds and spacious layout. Currently temperamental internet service was in the process of being addressed during our stay, with a very swift and pleasant response from the property owner when we had difficulties getting internet service. The garden including play equipment provided was much appreciated by young family members. The location is somewhat isolated so a car is essential but a 10-15 minute drive provides...more
We are a family of five, our children are aged 7, 9 and 11. Fourth View apartment was excellent for us for various reasons: Comfy accomodation with three bedrooms; situated close to the city centre, just a three-minute walk away; clean, tidy, quiet, safe; super-friendly customer service; fast internet.
We stayed at the cottage as 3 couples, two singles and a six year old for a surprise celebration family gathering with an Australian visitor. The cottage worked beautifully to give private space for everyone in their rooms and also a perfect gathering space in the lounge diner. We cooked every evening in the kitchen. The large grass area was a perfect safe area for games with my grandson and sitting out at the outside table in the autumn sun. We visited the Wallace Monument, the Kelpies and Falkirk Wheel as well as enjoying many wonderful walks in the Ochils....all less than half an hour d...more
Arriving in the late evening, a bit tired, we got in and felt at once the welcoming comfort of this house, the variety of bedrooms, the warmth of this house. Then, in the morning, daylight revealed the whole greatness of this place: A impressive view over the valley towards the Trossachs, many miles, the well-kept furnishings, and the wonderful garden which alone takes hours to admire. The kitchen, from zhe first moment you want to get cooking there, the cozy living room with plenty of space, terrace, a second living room. All this in a nice village -bigger as it seems- with 2 Pubs, a store...more
Information regarding the property needs updating in electronic folder and hard copy. The oven instructions don’t relate to the model installed. The thermostat is not on a wall but is wi fi controlled from a unit on a table. Crockery, cutlery and glasses are sparse, barely adequate. The information folder invites you to contact the owner if assistance needed, however when contacted was abrasive and abrupt. Directions to the apartment could be clearer. On a positive note, the rooms excluding the kitchen area were very spacious and comfortable.
The cottage is very clean and comfortable. A bit out of the way, you need a car to get there and the farm road is not in great condition. The cottage is lovely, very clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. A bit expensive, as most accommodation is in Scotland unfortunately. We really enjoyed our stay, waking up to lovely views and little deer in the field!
Location was one of the best and so scenic. On cleaniness, I will rate 5 out of 5. Property manager was also reachable and suggested some good places to visit nearby. Overall, it waa one of the best stays of ours in recent times.
Very weel located and comfortable, with easy communication with the manager. I wooul stay there again.
We had a great stay at the apartment in Bridge of Allam! It was very comfortable and cozy, and the location was convenient. The only downside was the need for a car, and we missed having a coffee maker. Overall, it was clean and comfortable.
