Iona is a beautiful accommodation with a very appealing decor. The equipment includes everything you need for a pleasant stay, also the kitchen is very well equipped. The second bathroom is also very practical. A parking lot is available right in front of the house. The owner is very friendly, after we arrived only after midnight, she put food in the fridge for us so we could have breakfast without leaving the house. That's really nice! The accommodation is very central, you can walk to everything in Stirling (train station, shops, restaurants, pubs, castle).
Linden apartment is like a home from home. It has everything you need, it is also spotlessly clean. It is spacious and we loved the 2 bathrooms. It is in a great location and near to the centre. If you are driving there is a drive and easy to get around Stirling and other areas. Christine is a lovely host, she is hospitable and will go over and above to support your needs. Out travels to linden avenue were in difficult times and Christine was compassionate and kind to us, and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend staying at Linden Avenue thank you.
Very nice cottage with all the needs for 6 guests. Good base for touring the area and further afield. Small but peaceful garden to sit out in and enjoy the sunsets. Cottage had all we needed, as far as space for 6 and all crockery, towels and linen. We would recommend this cottage to anybody. Owners very friendly and helpful. Agents very professional.
Wow, wow, WOW ... what a wonderful apartment. The only reason I have given a 5 Star review is because there's no facility to give it a 10 Star review!! We were welcomed with fresh flowers, milk, bread, juice and croissants. Large rooms with tall ceilings, the apartment oozes character in a clearly upmarket area. Exceptionally clean, comfortable, warm and spacious, the apartment is perfectly situated for the town (5 mins walk), the railway station (7 mins walk) and all the delights Stirling, as the gateway to Scotland, has to offer. The apartment also offers a relaxing conservatory and a...more
We arrived to a spotlessly clean house, the basics were provided. Eggs, butter and milk in the fridge, some coffee and sugar. Everything for a good start. The wintergarden and the lounge invited for relaxing afternoons and evenings, a wood fired oven made it cozy. We found a folder with all the instructions for the kitchen fittings, washing machine and dryer and good insights for what to do in Dollar and around. Stirling Self catering, the agency, was just an email away and replied very quickly. But thanks to the very good condition of the house that was not necessary. The only downsid...more
This property was of the finest quality and craftsmanship set in the nicest country location easy to access and very serene! The host (Irene) was extremely accommodating and charming, and very professional in introducing us to her property. She explained everything with safety as the most important to us as her guests. The property was extremely well appointed and comfortable at the same time for us a family of 6.
Higginsneuk is a charming property that has considered almost all visitor needs. The overall standard of the property is excellent, very clean and well maintained with comfortable beds and spacious layout. Currently temperamental internet service was in the process of being addressed during our stay, with a very swift and pleasant response from the property owner when we had difficulties getting internet service. The garden including play equipment provided was much appreciated by young family members. The location is somewhat isolated so a car is essential but a 10-15 minute drive provides...more
A spacious and comfortable apartment, with everything you need for an enjoyable stay in Stirling. Despite it being street parking, we had no problem finding a space outside. The apartment is within walking distance of tourist attractions such as the castle, the city centre and the Tesco supermarket, A great location for exploring this part of Scotland.
We were very pleased with the cottage, there was plenty of room for the 7 of us and ideally located between Edinburgh, Stirling, Falkirk and Glasgow. We were very warm and cosy and enjoyed ourselves immensely in beautiful Scotland, I have no hesitation in recommending this lovely cottage.
This was our second stay at Wilson’s cottage & our return visit 12 months after the first didn’t disappoint. A warm & cosy retreat close to all the attractions of Falkirk (Callendar park, Falkirk wheel & the Kelpies). I’m sure we will return again.
Mhuilinn Apartment is a modern apartment in Cambusbarron just outside Stirling. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable and there is allocated parking in the courtyard, It was a great place to stay to explore the region with plenty of space for three adults.
THIS IS MY 2ND VISIT TO KINGSVIEW APARTMENT, I ENJOYED IT SO MUCH I PERSUADED MY FRIENDS TO VISIT WITH ME. THE APARTMENT IS SO COMFORTABLE, WE HAD AN EXCELLENT FEW DAYS. IT IS IN AN IDEAL SETTING WITH EVERYTHING REQUIRED WITHIN EASY WALKING DISTANCE. STIRLING CASTLE AND WALLACE TOWER ARE FANTASTIC HISTORICAL ATTRACTIONS AND SHOULD NOT BE MISSED. THERE ARE LOADS OF WALKS NEARBY FOR ALL ABILITIES AND WHAT A GREAT FIND WAS THE TOLLBOOTH WHICH OFFERS ENTERTAINMENT REGULARLY.
Our group of eight spent a lovely week at beautiful St Michael’s in Kippen. The house is spotless & the gardens are beautiful. Some highlights include the back deck overlooking incredible scenery of pastures, mountains, trees and unforgettable sunsets. Also, the beds are very comfortable, we had plenty of hot water and places to relax between the two large sitting rooms, the deck and dining room. The kitchen is well appointed with everything one could need for meals and having the washer & dryer is wonderful. It’s a quiet and peaceful place for a getaway. Location was one of the best and so scenic. On cleaniness, I will rate 5 out of 5. Property manager was also reachable and suggested some good places to visit nearby. Overall, it waa one of the best stays of ours in recent times.
We had a great stay at the apartment in Bridge of Allam! It was very comfortable and cozy, and the location was convenient. The only downside was the need for a car, and we missed having a coffee maker. Overall, it was clean and comfortable.
