Enjoyed a 2-night stay. Such a cute little cosy cabin and in a lovely location down a track - feels like you're in the middle of a forest far away from anyone. The lodge was well-equipped, comfy bed, fabulous shower and Fiona was so helpful with checking in and out. Would definitely stay again.
We had a really nice stay in Castle Cottage. The cottage has a very well equipped kitchen with everything you might need to stay in and cook for any meal (we did both eating out and staying in). It’s a warm cottage with lovely views of the castle and garden from the bedroom windows. A generous welcome pack awaited us and we were met by the manager Fiona who was super nice and very helpful. The possible only downside is that you park within your garden area (there was another area you could use but that was full). That wasn’t a problem for us in the winter months as we didn’t sit outside but...more
