A superbly presented 2 bedroom property right in the heart of the city centre. This newly furnished apartment exudes quality and makes for the ideal break away.

The apartment is in a great location and very clean. The parking space, however, is located in the public parking area by the castle, which is only a short walking distance away.
Be warned: during our 5‑day stay we received 3 parking fines because staysyork did not arrange the parking reservation correctly. Two of the fines arrived after we were already back home. Since I had a rental car, the total cost ended up being more than £300, and the rental company is now issuing additional charges. staysyork has stopped responding to my emails.
Because I live abroad, I cannot pay the fines directly myself. Therefore, I strongly advise against using the parking arranged by staysyork. It is safer to book only the apartment and pay for parking yourself.

This apartment is centrally located within walking distance of everything. The interiors are stunning and very comfortable with underfloor heating, big wide screen smart TVs, modern kitchen with all amenities, comfortable sofa and dining areas. The beds are very comfortable and bathrooms are very user friendly with a big bathroom with 2 basins and another big bathroom plus another extra toilet and wash basin. The views were lovely. The photos don’t do it justice as the place looks smaller in the photos than it actually is. It was perfect for a family of 4, but would also work well for 4 adults. We have already recommended this apartment to other friends and family.

Stayed at Boutique Apartment @ The Old Fire Station in York 17 Jan 2025. The apartment location is excellent and parking pass is very convenient. The apartment itself is excellent, very clean and to a high specification. Communication from the bookings team was excellent. I would recommend, we will be returning again.

Service was fantastic, location fantastic and close to everything. Very luxurious and well appointed. Bit of noise from neighbours outside lifts but mostly was very quiet. Note there is a terrace below so if people are on there the noise level would be higher. Didn’t affect us as it was winter.
