We holiday on Anglesey several times a year and this was our first stay in Bron Wendon. On arrival, the views from the garden took our breath away. Many hours were spent gazing out the window!

The cottage was beautiful, well equipped and comfortable. And very quiet and peaceful too. The beach a short walk away (although a slopped access road to walk for those with poor mobility)

Very slight niggle would be the double bed sizes if you are used to a king sized bed (the rooms are very spacious though and the beds are comfy!) and the WiFi can be a bit hit and miss but its a great excuse to turn off the tv and devices and enjoy the view!

Would love to return soon, thank you for the stay in your beautiful cottage

Such a beautiful property and the views are to die for. We loved looking out to see and using the handily provided binoculars. Easy walking distance to shop, pub and highly recommend the Bay View restaurant about 20 minutes walk away.

The house is very cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed for cooking with quality appliances. The small bathroom needed a little TLC but otherwise the house is in excellent condition.

Only slight snag was the WiFi was very slow. Yes it’s a great place to switch off from the world but with two children this is easier said than done, so improved WiFi would have made this a perfect experience.

Thank you for your lovely review Jenny!! We love to hear that our guests have such a wonderful stay that they don't want to leave!! The views are very special at Bron Wendon and the binoculars help to capture that. Unfortunately, the wifi on the island can be patchy in places and we understand how frustrating this can be with children!!All we would like to do as adults is switch off and enjoy the peace! We will pass on the feedback though.

an ideal property for exploring around North Anglesey and coastal walks. Dog friendly and VERY cosy property with views over the bay from the extended kitchen/diner room. 3 lovely bedrooms/ 1 fabulous bathroom.
Very well appointed and lovely lounge area. Wifi needs some improvement if you want to watch Netflix/Prime/ .
Will return in summer/ springtime to see the area outside of Xmas-time

Stunning location, breathtaking views, most relaxing stay, beautifully well thought out home with everything you need, only regret hadn't booked for longer. Some issues with the patio door we called housekeeping, and the problem was rectified very prompting friendly, helpful service. We will definitely be back.

The cottage is beautiful and spacious and well decorated. By far the best thing about it is the amazing location and beautiful view. We scored slightly lower on a couple of points as the extra toilet wasn't working which we weren't informed about. The cottage also had lots of cobwebs on the high ceiling which shouldn't have been there. However we loved making the fire at night and you could see the view from lots of places in the house especially the lovely kitchen. Beautiful costal walks on your doorstep and dog friendly beach only a few minutes away. Our Doggy Poppy was living her best life. Lots of lovely places to eat a short drive away and lovely fish and chips from the town.

The location and views are great - spent lots of time starting out to sea. Lovely outdoor space. House has lots of character and is beautifully furnished. There were a handful of things I would change - bigger bed options. Two rooms only have double beds (the other is a twin). Possibly fine for some but my husband is 6,2 and we couldn’t get comfortable. Also had issues with door handles and toilet seats falling off. Kitchen equipment could be improved - no bread knife (we bought and left one), blunt knives, pans scratched/sticky. No Pyrex jug. The views and outdoor space would bring me back in a heartbeat if the house had bigger bed options.

If you want a perfect location for walking, relaxing or simply enjoying the view, this is the place for you! The property is superior and the village of Cemaes Bay is absolutely charming - not spoilt and the locals are so friendly and welcoming. The beaches are beautiful and perfect for dog runs. We’d recommend Gadlys as the food and staff are excellent.
Bron Wendon itself is amazingly equipped with everything from a fire pit, log burner, binoculars, extensive kitchen supplies, even hair straighteners! Our daughter even discovered remote control cars which run brilliantly on the wooden floors! We fell in love with it and rebooked whilst there.



Clean, comfortable, good layout, loved the fire, most amazing views.

A group of 6 ladies, who thoughly enjoyed the stay. The views were amazing. Had plenty of fabulous walks and fresh air.
The house had all you needed in the kitchen for meal prep. The sofa was very comfortable and we loved sitting round the high table in the kitchen with the fab view. Loved the fact that you could walk into the village. Sunday lunch in the Stag Inn was really good.
If we had to criticise we would have prefered bigger beds. Although double so many of us have king size these days.

WE CAN CONFIRM THE CUSHIONS FOR THE OUTSIDE FURNITURE ARE BACK!!!!

As our trip was January we didn't get a chance to use them.

We would highly recommend this beautiful location for a holiday.

Everything fine (and clean upon check in)
As in earlier reviews, shame there was no outside furniture cushions!
without them the 'al fresco' with the fantastic views are spoilt. Without cushions the furniture is unusable (too low for the table and uncomfortable) Perhaps the owner could provide them and include them on a 'deposit' basis.?
Apart from that niggle, quite a nice property with sea views.

The location and view are stunning. While we did enjoy our stay we felt the house needed a few repair jobs and attention to detail to warrant the hefty rental price. Door knobs falling off the cupboards, cupboards very dirty. I found the double beds very uncomfortable and hard but this might be personal preference - had to sleep on the sofa one night. Sink plug in the bathroom extremely dirty. Broken low lampshade in the room my 2 year old daughter slept in. Induction hob with not many induction pans. No cushions for the outdoor furniture to enjoy the lovely view.
The view and general feel of the property outweighed this negative feedback and we would definitely book again - just a little disappointed to pay high end price for something that should have been fantastic.

A comfortable base with amazing views. The property itself had all the space needed, in a reasonably clean environment - there were lots of cobwebs - some low level so could’ve been removed. The plumbing system was very hit and miss, with the toilets backing up on more than one occasion.

The house was home from home with everything you needed - pots, dishes, cutlery etc.

The welcome pack was a nice touch as was the pint of milk in the fridge.

The view was what sold the property to us - it was simply stunning.

Firstly I would like to say this is a beautiful house in a stunning location so it's a shame I was let down on a few things.

The house keeping was terrible, dog poo left on patio,fire pit still had burnt wood innit and bag of kindle just left on table open in the rain. Sticky child hand prints on walls and all over windows. Cob webs in every room, a tray of cooked chips left from previous tenants left in cooker which caused smoke to bellow out in the kitchen when I turned it on.
Lock on utility room toilet came off in my hand, which couldve caused a big issue if one of my kids had of locked themselves in there.
There is no information pack to explain to you how the heating works, the cooker works, where the extractor fan switch for bathroom is located etc
I did get an email from letting company before I arrived but it was a generic one and not specifically for this property. It was mentioned that due to covid you cannot have a information pack in the property. Which doesn't make any sense to me as there is a pack there that give details over walks in area. Also books on shelves etc...
The patio area is a great space,apart from poo an dirty fire pit., the only issue is that there is brilliant rattan furniture out there which would be a stunning place to chill out at night with the family, except there are NO cushions. When I sent I email to ask where the cushions are located I was told there isn't any... so we couldn't use it.
Shame so nearly a 5star place as Ceames is a little gem of a place.

We both enjoyed our stay very much, ,our only wish was we would have love to stay longer.
I unfortunately suffer with Parkinson’s Disease,and at times I felt a little unsafe ,for instance ,in the bathroom no hand rails,and no bathrmat ,only little minor details ,but ,believe me ,makes all the difference to a disabled person.!!
We would love to return,If that’s possible.
We most definitely will be recommending it to family and friends .
