Fantastic comfortable home, beautifully done inside and out excellent location will definitely go back again and a wonderful host.
A high quality home in the perfect location. Very close to the beach and village but in a small cul de sac so very peaceful. Fittings and furnishing is of a high quality and purchased with the intention of providing the best of everything rather than "dumping" unwanted items from the owners home which in my experience is very often the case. Planning to rebook next year if we can get in!! Richard Jones
Location excellent, lovely place. Couldn't fault it, had everything we needed for our family of 11..
We'd been looking forward to visiting The Dilly since we first saw it advertised. It was everything we expected and more. Gill and Richard have paid so much attention to detail and created the perfect, romantic getaway with everything you need. The quality and comfort of our stay was superb, the hikki was an exciting treat and we look forward to returning in the winter months to try the log burner and fire pit. Gill and a Richard were warm, friendly and helpful and we can't wait to return.
What a lovely stay ! Really enjoyed our few days in this beautiful property , we wanted a place to relax, and enjoy some walking , and we found it in The Hideout , it is a credit to Jamie and his family , warm ,clean and comfortable , everything we needed . We didn't want to leave , and look forward to our next visit !
We enjoyed a lovely week at White Gables. Great position with easy walks to the village and the beaches. Great views over lake and mountains. You can even see the sea. Loved watching the sunsets and Rhosneigr skies through the french doors. We even managed to use the balcony on several occasions. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and would highly recommend a stay here.
This house suited us perfectly as we had grandparents staying on the ground floor with easy access to the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen was so well stocked with plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery. We used the kitchen table for meals and the large dining table was fab for reading and games etc and this meant the kitchen table was always clear and ready for meals! Our dog (and all of us) loved the garden and it was private and secure. The quality of everything amazed us, the beds, mattresses, quilts were all luxurious. The highlight is the living room, with plenty of settees and lots ...more
Excellent cottage, it had had everything one needed to make a fantastic holiday and it’s in such a beautiful part of Anglesey. We will be back to visit soon.
Excellent property with excellent quality linens and crockery. Great location within walking distance of great restaurants.
Stayed here late August and had a fantastic time. The house is so stylish, everything is brand new and every detail has been thought of from board games, to outdoor showers post beach to a den where kids can watch their movies whilst adults can relax in the main lounge area. The location is a one minute walk from the beach and (small) town centre and a fantastic sand dune filled walk in the opposite direction to another beach and the infamous Oyster Catcher restaurant. Can't recommend Spring Tide highly enough. Book it quick, it's a new listing and I'm sure it will be very popular.
Our 3rd time at this house and already booked again for next year. Excellent property and location.
We have recently returned from a wonderful week's stay in this fabulous property. It totally exceeded all of our expectations. The house is large, roomy and in the perfect location on The High Street of Rhosneigr The owners have furnished and decorated the villa to the highest of standards and no expense has been spared. We slept on beautiful hotel quality beds and woke up to amazing sea views. I loved the little extras like the "emergency wine" and the games room in the garage. We met the neighbours on both sides and became great friends! A few steps away there was an excellent fish and chip...more
We've booked with Anglesey Holidays for a few years now (5% discount for returning customers) and wouldnt stay anywhere else. Love the complex of Llewelyn, have also stayed in one of the cottages. They have tea rooms on site but closed Mon and Tues at the moment as is the pub. The village of Aberffraw is small, one pub, one shop - what else would you need, easy to travel around Anglesey from here as the roads are quiet. The estuary leads to a gorgeous beach with lots of walks for everyone although there is access to other beaches depends on walking abilities.
A pure haven of peace and tranquility over looking Qwen's Lake. Ideal for exploring the surrounding district with Anglesey's coastal walks all within 30 minutes driveaway.
This was our third stay at Llys y Celeste and it won't be our last with two further bookings made for 2022. Can't beat the location nor the design of the house, particularly the rear kitchen and living area. Plenty of room for everyone to be in the same space whilst doing different activities or just lounging around together. The bedroom to bathroom ratio works well and the introduction of a warm water hose outside is very welcome for washing down sandy feet and paws when it's a bit chilly. The owners have done a great job in creating a house that offers the perfect environment for a happy, ...more
Ty Rhiannon is a lovely little property, just right for one or two people. Near Aberffraw Beach and the Crown Pub, what more could one ask? Great for walking from and coming back to. Excellent for people who want comfort, peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings.
Very nice upside down design made it easy to sleep in the hot weather. Huge useful and usable patio area was a surprise and caught the sun all day, great for drying wetsuits. Seaview from the balcony really nice too. Beds were really comfortable too. Beach and town very nearby. Parking was easy. Booked again.
We had a wonderful week in Rhosneigar. The property was the best we have ever stayed in and have been coming to Anglesey for quite a few years. The house was excellent a lot bigger than the photos show. Very clean and comfortable and in a super location . Couldn't fault the house or the holiday. Wanted a few days in December but unfortunately the weekend we need is already booked!! Will definitely recommend it.
Had 3 nights here in October with my sisters and mum plus one dog. Cottage had everything we could need. Perfect location for the beach over the dunes, and the town a ten minute stroll away where there are a few bars and restaurants. There is a basement for children, fully equipped with games and disco lights. The cottage was lovely and clean. The owner has furnished the cottage well, well heated and all beds are super comfy. Netflix Wifi all easy accessible. All in all a lovely stay.
A lovely family retreat and we enjoyed every minute of our time on the island. The house made a significant contribution to the success of our holiday.
Property needs a more thorough clean - with more attention to detail. Some kitchen pans need to be replaced. Lighting in bathroom very dim and a bath mat to step out of the bath/shower on to is necessary to prevent accidents on slippery floor. Would not recommend due to these issues. Location was good and owners very friendly and helpful.
Situated less than 2 mins walk from the village and the beach the cottage is perfect for exploring everything about Rhosneigr. All the fixtures and fittings in the cottage were modern and to a very high standard, two lovely bathrooms & three very comfy bathrooms. Kitchen likewise had everything you need to cater for yourselves. For those evenings in cosy sofa and a tv with access to Netflix is also a great touch. We had one dog who was very comfortable in cottage. Would highly recommend Off the Hook!
Had the whole family to stay for the W/e and the Cottage suited us fine. Handy to the beach and the Sandy Mount Restaurant! Good facilities and lovely and warm. It was well equipped and having off road parking at the rear was a bonus. Only small issue was the Bathroom light was a bit dim for showering and shaving.
What a special stay at number 3 the bungalow was spotless, beds comfy garden enclosed great for my dog, absolutely loved it especially the weather, we always book with anglesey holiday lettings fantastic service would definitely visit here again everything you need number 3 is a little gem
A lovely spacious flat with all the facilities need for a short stay. Ample parking and ideally situated close to the beach.
Excellent home from home within easy reach of the beach and shops . Nice enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs and had far reaching sea views. The kitchen and utility room was very well equipped and the beds comfortabl. We liked it so much we are returning for another week within the month ! I would highly recommend this beautiful holiday home.
A super, versatile house, well equipped and comfortable. It is an ideal base to explore Angelsey. The beach in Rhosneiger is beautiful- we saw some amazing sunsets! You are very close to Valley- we had our own private air show- even seeing a red arrow and fighter jets doing manoeuvres. The town itself has an excellent fish and chip shop and good restaurants. It was perfect for our stay.
Although the weather wasn’t the best, that could not be said of our accommodation. The house was great in every aspect and we would recommend it to anybody looking to visit Anglesey.
Spotlessly clean with towels and bedding provided.Fully equipped modern kitchen. Welcome pack on arrival.Owners welcoming and lovely people.Peaceful location with perfect outlook but close enough to shop ,beach and the Oyster Catcher which we would highly recommend. Will definitely return.
Ideal for our extended family to get together for a reunion following recent times. All 19 of us managed to sit around the huge table in the kitchen and while away the hours following a meal together. We had lots of fun and the house was a great hub for us to do this.
Recently spent a week at Ty Mabon, Aberffraw. This is the second time that we have stayed in the apartment. It is a lovely apartment and is very comfortable, very clean and has everything that you need for a week away. It is in a quiet complex within a few minutes walking distance along the estuary and to the Anglesey coastal path, also handy for exploring all the lovely places that Anglesey has to offer. I'm sure that we will be returning next year.
A return visit to this lovely family house , so much space & comfort it is just perfect , everything you would need for a family holiday & we used the bikes provided in the garage too !! Location amazing , just across the road from an amazing beach , easy walk to the village shops pubs & restaurants Thank you Anglesey Holiday Lettings for your consistent high standards & customer service .
We had a wonderful stay at Coed y Llan celebrating my mums 70th birthday. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space but also to be together too. Would 100% stay again. A hot tub would have made this even better.
We come back here every year for a week’s holiday. Sometimes we come back for another week as well, it just shows how much we love this place!
This property met all our needs. Location perfect, stunning views from all front elevations. Definitely will go back, carnt waite. The house is immaculate.
We enjoyed a fabulous week at Hen Gi Mor. So comfortable and cosy to come back to after a big day out! Great location! Anglesey Holiday Lettings are very professional with great booking service! Thank you
The apartment was spotless and spacious and the furniture and the bed was very comfortable. It was in an excellent location within easy walking distance of the beach and the shops. There was a hospitality treat included which was a lovely surprise. However, please be aware that there is no lift (the apartment is on the top floor) and you will have to climb 4 flights of stairs. My holiday was a wonderful experience and enhanced by staying in this accommodation. I would highly recommend this accommodation.
Ideal location for a few days holiday in Rhosneigr. Nearest beach only 100m from apartment, shops and amenities less than 50ms.Great base to explore the rest of Anglesey from. Apartment was very clean and warm, fully kitted out for those wishing to show case their own culinary skills. However for those of us less talented chefs there are plenty of local takeaways and restaurants available nearby. The Crown, Aberffraw one of my particular favourites. Almost 'bistro like', great food with good choice of cask ales always available. Highlight was the 'picture window' in the lounge framing the num...more
This is the 5th time that my sister and I have stayed in this cottage and we have already booked for next year. As always, we have had the most lovely, relaxing holiday and continue to be impressed by the excellent customer service provided by Jamie and his loyal team. All enquiries or requests for help are dealt with promptly and in a very personal way. Also, the company operates the highest levels of integrity and we would not dream of booking with any other company. The last year and a half must have been exceptionally difficult for them, but it has not diminished, in any way, the servi...more
The location of this property is fantastic right by a lovely beach. The downstairs bedroom and shower is ideal for elderly guests and the property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is only the front bedroom with a balcony that overlooks the sea and we found that when the wind was howling it was quite noisy and drafty (maybe needs door/window seal replacing). However what a great view to wake up to with a cuppa. There is a small village you can walk to and a nice old pub the Glan Neigr. The owners were so accommodating when we arrived soaking wet with our dogs after gett...more
We loved our stay at Ty Traeth. We have visited Rhosneigr several times and this was the best house we have stayed in. Light and airy, comfortable beds, plenty of space and ideal location for walking to the beach and village centre. We will definitely return!
A lovely little cottage which suited us (a family of 4 and small dog) well. Convenient location, just off the A55. The cottage had everything we needed and the little laundry next door came in handy.
On arrival we were very pleasantly surprised at the finish of the bungalow and it's surroundings. This continued inside where we found a very well equipped kitchen and good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds. There are televisions in the bedrooms, kitchen and lounge and has obviously been well thought out for the comfort of guests. The property is located directly on the A5 which was the main route for traffic heading for Holyhead. There is now a new dual carriageway, the A55, that takes most of this traffic away and does not affect Monfa. However, there is some traffic noise at certain ti...more
Lovely spacious flat. Great living area and large bedroom along with a good walk in shower. Could do with a lick of paint in places but this didn’t spoil the holiday. A dishwasher would be great to have especially with COVID issues. Also a non stick frying pan is needed to replace the well used frying pan.
Great bedrooms & bathrooms. Good location & views. But it really needs blinds on large lounge window to reduce the heat and enable the TV to be watched. Lounge could also do with new sofas. Kitchen is lacking some basic equipment like glass bowls and a roasting tin. Outside space is limited as there is only a front garden with basic picnic table. No access to garage for bike storage etc. These negatives have been mentioned by previous guests.
Stayed in this block before but this apartment was slightly better We love the view and location It was perfect for our stay. Two comments it needs a name bit confusing at first as they all look the same and the curtains need addressing in bedroom otherwise everything was perfect
Anglesey Holiday Lettings did everything to help us. Our first choice location was unavailable due to heating breakdown so we were offered this cozy cottage as an alternative. Staff were so supportive and stayed in touch during our stay to ensure we were comfortable. The cottage is close to beach and shops but peaceful. A lovely kitchen diner with everything you’d need to cook for 6-8 people. A comfortable bed. The bunks would be comfortable for children and the garden looks child friendly. This is a great location to explore the island. The lake close by is wonderful for bird watching.
We had a wonderful time in the nest, a beautiful apt overlooking the White eagle. Perfect location for us as it’s close to beaches and coastal walks and our favourite pub! Apt was spacious and comfy with a sun trap outdoor area just off the lounge. Just a couple of minor snags, bathroom tap not fixed to sink in bathroom and some windows fixed shut so in certain bedrooms it got very stuffy……didn’t detract too much though from what was a great stay in a lovely place. We hope to return to the nest in the future.
My wife and I really enjoyed staying in the "barn". It was a nice home away from home. The owners maintain a distance but are very friendly and helpful when approached.
This is a perfect location for dog owners. There are walks along the estuary or over the sand dunes straight from the doorstep. The local pub is very dog friendly and serves excellent food. The accomodation was perfectly sized for 2 adults and the wifi speed and smart tv were added bonuses. On the negative side the two seater sofa wasn't the comfiest and although the bathroom was a little outdated, the shower was powerful and the water nice and hot. I would definitely come back to this cottage and area.
The location is excellent. Everyone we met in the village were very welcoming and the people at the golf club very warm and helpful. The golf course was interesting and challenging in places.
What a delightful week we had at Ancones. The house was far better than we had expected, 200 metres or so from the beach and only a very short walk to the village centre. The house was over 3 floors with the living room and kitchen/ diner on the middle floor and bedrooms on the ground floor and top floor. The garden area has been tastefully paved over so we were able to use the BBQ and patio furniture on more than one occasion in the sunshine. We arrived in 3 cars and there was sufficient parking space for them all, which was a pleasant surprise. In terms of negatives, there ...more
Stayed here for the Third time September 2021, Always a pleasure, great views handy for ammenities and getting around the Island. From the windows see hang-gliding, Windsurfing, Jet Skis and Jet fighters never a dull moment. Very comfy flat. Anglesey Letting do what they advertise very informative. Guess what going back next year.
Perfect location ,bright well appointed accomodation with a sea view from bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen, lacked the welcome pack that was advertised but a convenience store just over the road.
This was our second stay at the cottage. It's a good base for visiting Anglesey, especially for visiting The Little Church in The Sea which you can walk to directly from the cottage and can make into a circular walk by adding some coast path and the estuary. Llanddwyn Island, Anglesey Model Village and some great beaches are very close by. The cottage was exceptionally clean and warm and I'm sure we will be returning.
Comfortable flat on the main road through Rhosneigr and a 10 minute walk to the beach. 4 adults managed comfortably for a week. Minor niggle that there is no outside space to enjoy. Only other irritation was the smoke alarm system, the one in the kitchen seemed very sensitive maybe because of its position. We set it off everytime we cooked even when we used the extraction fan and this set off all the other smoke alarms in the flat, at least we knew they worked.
Would definitely book again. Great place and we had everything we need. Very small points for next time home owner has a reshuffle; settee a bit low for older people and dining table a bit big for the room, not much space to manoeuvre.
Aberffraw is a lovely village location within right next to the stunning beach and coastal path walk, with a decent local pub just round the corner from the accommodation. The Eagles is delightful characterful property with everything that you could need for you holiday, the beds are very comfy, clean linen, huge baths and a log burner. A massive thanks to the Anglesey Holiday lettings team for the great communication regarding Covid and the ease of moving our booking to the new date in September, as we were previously unable to travel due to restrictions. We would highly recommend The Eagles ...more
Very comfortable, cottage in good location. Beach nearby local shops and restaurants easy walking distance. Would definitely recommend.
This is a difficult review to give; this is and continues to be our favourite place in Rhosneigr and we have already booked for next year which tells you a lot about how we feel about the place, its second to none location and how it has become an annual family event, this house has been instrumental in bringing the family together for an annual holiday which is priceless for the time we spend together here. Whether it is sitting on the lawn people watching on the beach or a 30 second walk to the waters edge to do some paddle boarding. We tried a different property one year and although the su...more
We spent a wonderful 2 weeks at Y Bwthyn and what a lovely comfortable and peaceful cottage, clean and spacious and loved the wet room ideal. very relaxing. Hopefully will be able to return.
Small basic cottage with all amenities, comfy beds, powerful showers. Great to stay with friends in adjoining cottages. Beautiful location a couple of minutes to the sand dunes and amazing beach. Great customer service from the owner and Anglesey holiday lettings Thanks
The moorings is very comfortable plenty of space and in easy reach of all amenities A teapot would be handy otherwise everything was there
Had a lovely stay in the cottage, found everything we needed easily to hand. Lovely clean and comfortable beds and furnishings and lovely quiet countryside surrounding us with plenty of good walks and beaches only 5 minutes drive away.
The Good: Nice location right by the beach. Comfortable sofas and beds. Well equipped kitchen. Decent bedding/towels. The Bad: There were parts of this property that had not been cleaned for a very long time and were filthy dirt eg windows, kitchen blinds, kitchen upstands, patio doors, glass dining table had bits of sand and food trapped underneath which was very unpleasant. Mop was left filthy dirty and soaking wet. Poor standard of repair - pealing wallpaper, unsightly marks on doors and woodwork, windows frames in bad condition. There has been a lot of effort put into maki...more
Lovely central apartment convenient for everything. Perhaps could do with 2 comfortable chairs for reading as the sofa doesn't lend itself to good back support for aging backs but the kids loved it. That's just a personal opinion and it wouldn't stop us booking again as all in all it was a lovely apartment.
Fall out of the front door onto the beach ... Literally Right in the centre of Rhosniegr There were just the 2 of us and our pooch so loads of space, could be a bit tight for 6. An over sight on our part was not noticing there is no freezer or freezer part, so having done a shop on the way we had to eat 2 tubs of ice cream on our first night of holiday .... Oh well silver linings.
Had a week stay but left early the property was very clean. Was looking for a private quiet holiday to spend with my family who I haven’t seen for 3 years. The property backs onto the owners and we didn’t feel private. There is also a caravan at the side which was not mentioned in the review luckily nobody was staying there , if they had then not private at all . I was kept awake by the constant noise of the A55 with roadworks at night. Having not been to anglessey before I didn’t know the A55 was a very busy road. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. The sofa in living room was also unco...more
