Great Shepherds hut very cosy and exceptionally clean. There was everything you could need for a few nights stay. We took advantage of the fire pit and the wood burning hot tub which was amazing.Very peaceful location with some lovely walks took us 25 minutes to walk to Rhosneigr. The hosts were very helpful and gave us lots of information about the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend.
What an amazing house this is! We all loved our stay especially Ned our chocolate Labrador! Would highly recommend this property and will definitely try and visit again
We had an amazing Christmas break with the Family here , everything was catered for , the accommodation was perfect for all , location outstanding , beach down the road , and the communication with Anglesey Holiday Lettings was fantastic , definitely be rebooking this property,
A super stay in our favourite part of Anglesey. Super stylish and well equipped on the inside and a delightful woodfired hot tub on the out. Friendly owners nearby and on hand if you need them.
We felt relaxed and at home as soon as we arrived. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. A beautiful cottage in a great location.
It is definitely Location Location Location width Morawelon. A lovely comfortable well appointed seaside home. There was everything we needed and it was so peaceful. We made the most of the easy access to the beach and were lucky enough to catch a few beautiful sunsets. It was great being able to watch kite surfers while eating breakfast.
We had a really lovely stay at Sand Dollar - 5 adults, 5 kids with loads of space and comfy beds. The bedrooms (3 doubles, 1 twin and 1 triple) suited us perfectly. The lounge area on the first floor had seating areas for all of us to enjoy and get together for karaoke! The kitchen and utility room had everything we needed and the extra fridge was ideal. We didn't really use the garden as it was February, but imagine it would be well used in warmer weather with bbq and firepit. The house is really well located just a few minutes walk from the beach and high street. We really enjoyed our stay a...more
We had a fabulous long weekend in this spacious and comfortable house. The house and grounds were enjoyed by 8 adults and 6 children (aged 8 months to 9 years old) and all had a busy time enjoying the gardens and views. Great location for a peaceful weekend.
Fabulous view s can’t be matched any where on Anglesey ‘ house Easley reach to Rhosniegr village short walk across beach or by road ‘ plenty of fine dining if that’s what you want or self catering in good equipped kitchen looking out at the sea whilst preparing yr meal
We spent a lovely 4 night stay in Hen Golchdy. Everything we needed for our stay. Bedrooms are bigger than the photos make them appear-very spacious. Beautiful estuary/beach walk at Aberffraw is our favourite and less than a 5 minute walk away. My only negative comment would be that the houses in the complex are all very close together with outside spaces that aren’t private and overlook the car park. This was no problem for us in early March but could have been in the busier summer months.
Perfect location with stunning sunsets and provides a high standard holiday home. We would not hesitate to stay again!
Gorgeous property! In an amazing location it have everything we needed & was presented beautifully. Very light open space, comfy beds & spotlessly clean. Had such a relaxing break, thankyou.
Comfy beds, cosy log burner, lovely garden and conservatory. Short walk to Broad beach and local pubs/ restaurants. Cant wait to return in the summer months to take advantage of the garden :)
Great location and very tidy and clean Loved the reclaimed wood patio and seating - would love to know where it all came from Perfect spot for a bit of R&R and then exploring Anglesey Would recommend to anyone and looking forward to a return trip
Simply stunning property ! The house is modern , beautifully designed, and really well kitted out with top end appliances . It was very warm , comfortable and lacked for nothing . The views across the estuary are unparalleled and mesmerising. It was a joy to stay there and it was great that they allowed dogs , as otherwise we couldn’t have gone . The garden is large and secure and perfect for dogs and people alike . Fabulous walks straight from the door stop . We couldn’t find any fault with any aspect of it , it’s a very special place .
We stayed over Christmas, not equipped for 6 people. the fridge was tiny,no space too store families food, the sofa was small and very uncomfortable, 1 small uncomfortable chair, couldn’t relax especially on dark nights. No blinds on large French doors the whole street could see in , hot water is on a storage tank, only enough hot water for 1 shower , not good for 6 people , it was very cold when we arrived had too wait till next morning for the heating too heat the appartment. We had to buy more glasses and oven trays ,and pizza cutter, so we could cook, no oven dishes for meals. I think this...more
Our stay in Maelog Villa was for a 3 generation family and we weren’t disappointed. The house is comfortably furnished and stylishly kitted out with attractive soft furnishings and beautiful pictures. The house is very well equipped with more than enough cutlery and crockery though none of us were impressed with the wonky style of Portmeirion crockery. Though attractive, there is an art to safely loading it in the dishwasher and cupboards! We had a problem with the Range cooker repeatedly tripping. However an Electrician called in mid week to sort another situation “in the box” after which we ...more
A very nice base for our holiday in Wales, dog friendly which is always a bonus! Parking is very tight but achievable, we had a Volvo estate! Very close to all that Rhosneigr has to offer and a minute’s walk to the beach. Welcome pack was basic and the first time we had no log’s or supplies for the wood burner?
Brilliant stay, not far to walk into Rhosneigr or the beach, immaculate throughout and nice touch with the welcome package! Would 100% stay again!
A great stay over New Year at Sunset View. Second time staying at this lovely apartment and I'm sure it won't be our last. It's well equipped, a great location and has the most fantastic view from the picture window! Perfect for a relaxing break.
Perfect home in a great location made for a great weeks stay! Very close to Rhosneigr Beach and places to eat.
This is our second time at Ty Cwyfan and is in a beautiful location to explore the local area and easily accessible for the other delights that Anglesey has. The property is spacious and comfy for 6 people plus a bonus of each room being en suite. It is perfect to come back to after a day out or after completing many walks from the doorstep.
We had a wonderful week in this lovely property. A very quiet area yet conveniently placed. Extremely clean and well equipped for everything we needed. Only 2 tiny points that could be improved, the crockery, especially the plates are very worn and squeaky and could be replaced and the light and fan in the shower in the family bathroom wasn’t working. Not a concern for us as we were more than happy with the beautiful en-suite. I would definitely recommend Off The Hook as a top class holiday home.
Modern, clean and well equipped property within a short walking distance to the beach. Quiet location and safe, secure parking. We really enjoyed our stay here. Fantastic base for exploring Anglesey.
Wonderful home in an excellent location in a beautiful part of the island. Would definitely book Trem Y Dom again
We have stayed at Ewyn Y Mor again recently and it doesn't disappoint. The house is in a perfect location for the beach, the shops and restaurants. Everything is within walking distance and it offers great views of the beach and water conditions. We have been holidaying in Rhosneighr for many years and this place has been our choice for the last few trips. It offers lots of space for the large family and is great all year round. Any of our questions were answered quickly and the service from Anglesey properties is second to none. We wouldn't hesitate in recommended this property.
Definitely recommend a stay at Ty Rhiannon! What a lovely little village Aberffraw is, a perfect base for walks and drives round the island. The cottage was clean and spacious. It have everything we needed for a 3 night break. The only downside was coming back after a day out our water was not working so I had to phone the main office, I was told there was work happening in some of the other cottages. It would have been nice if we had been told in advance. All in all a fantastic trip, can’t wait to come back!
Beautiful relaxing cottage with plenty of room had a lovely stay and will definitely pay another visit the Many thanks
Surprisingly spacious accommodation. Enclosed garden to 3 sides (dog proof). Kitchen is a great gathering space with plenty of seating. Location is perfect with plenty of parking available. Village was quiet as off season however still places to eat and drink and a great Indian restaurant which did a takeaway!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and did not want to leave. We stopped in Hill Top 2, myself, my partner, 5 year old daughter and 6 month old baby. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed, no complaints at all in regards to amenities. Lady who lives in the house behind came to introduce herself on our first full day and made us aware that if we needed anything at all she was there to help, that was really nice. The house behind had 2 beagle dogs that were the friendliest dogs I think I’ve ever met. They used to meet us as we drove up the drive back from a long day out ex...more
Once again we had such a lovely stay here at Bryn Bach It never fails to re-charge the batteries So cosy and relaxing, with so much to explore, its a perfect spot to stay on the island You're surrounded by nature on this beautiful farm, I cant recommend it highly enough for that perfect tranquil place to stay
We have been holidaying in Rhosneigr for over 10 years using Anglesey Holiday Lettings staying in a different number of their properties and this is the first time we have stayed in Driftwood but it definitely won’t be the last!! What a fantastic place, the location is perfect, a 2 minute walk to the beach and great access to restaurants and shops. The house itself is amazing, quirky and fabulous. The 2 lounges are both beautiful, the only difficulty is choosing which one to sit in! The log burner in the front lounge was very welcome in February and the back lounge lovely and peaceful to rest ...more
Lovely cottage, well presented, very clean. Comfy beds, quiet location. Very pleasent owners. Only a minor moan ironing board could do with a new cover. Would definately stay again. Many thanks.
There were 6 of us & we were all very comfortable in Faraways spacious surroundings. It is a very well equipped holiday home with nothing scrimped on quality. It also looked really 'cool' & we all felt at home. We enjoyed all the facilities in Rhosneigr especially on the beachfront but also had some interesting trips to NT properties. Eating out locally was great too.
Brilliant holiday staying in Pen Y Bryn 17th to 24th September Great location So clean Everything you would need for a very comfortable stay Brilliant facility downstairs for one of our party with mobility issues Thankyou!!
As regular visitors to beautiful Anglesey we knew exactly where our destination was, despite arriving sometime after dark. We immediately found No. 3 to be exactly as described on the website and it took us no time at all to settle in. What a lovely base we had for our 5 night stay, we felt so 'at home' in the bungalow with all conveniences provided for. The weather was wild and the waves were crashing in at virtually every beach on the windward side of the Island. On the Friday we patiently waited in warm sunshine in a sheltered part of Newborough Beach until High Tide subsided and we were ab...more
Perfect location right on the dunes and just a couple of minutes walk from the beach. House is well equipped with all facilities in good condition.
Booked here for a few days after Christmas. Lovely apartment, well situated in the village and lost of places within driving distance. The apartment is very spacious and well equipped with everything you will need. Climbing all the stairs will all your luggage and shopping is a bit of a challenge (kept us fit) We enjoyed our stay that much we have re-booked again for this year.
Spacious beautiful family and friends house. All our needs were catered for.. Superb views and excellent location, Quiet with plenty of parking. Village within easy reach with local cafes shops and pubs. Walks from the house.
The house was very comfortable and warm. In fact, we turned the heating off in the end as it was so warm. The view at the front of the house was OK, and there was a partial view of the sea, which was nice. However, the view at the rear of the house (through the kitchen windows) was fantastic. We couldn't really see this from the photos on the website, but there is a clear view of the mountains which we really enjoyed. The facilities at The View were all good; child gate at the top of the stairs which we used all the time; nice TV which we were easily able to connect a gaming console to; comfor...more
Excellent location. A cosy and warm 1 bed apartment, perfect for us and our dog. Will definitely return.
Stunning house in the most beautiful location . The views from the kitchen and lounge are breathtaking and we sat for hours just enjoining them. The house is finished to a high standard and the welcome basket was a lovely addition. My children loved the grounds and football goal and with easy access to what is essentially your own private beach we had great fun exploring and collecting shells. We will definitely be booking again. Thank you
What an amazing place to stay. Everything you need to relax and recharge. We'll equipped and plenty of space. Locals very warm. Welcoming and friendly. Fabulous beach walks. Could not fault our stay. Also Anglesey Holiday Lettings were on hand and made sure our stay was smooth. I would highly recommend Llys Celeste and Anglesey Holiday Lettings. Will be using them again.
This was a return visit and Y Bwthyn was just as good, sadly weather wasn’t also had to cut short our stay as my husband had an Eye problem. but would love to go back
This is a fabulous property and suited our group, elderly mum, adult daughters and 2 dogs. The 2 lounges and downstairs bedroom worked perfectly. The property is beautifully decorated. The location fantastic and in summer with the beautiful outside decked area facing the sun would be amazing. The only niggle was that we had no control over the heating. This is done remotely, and although we were very warm, it would have meant turning each radiator on and off to amend room variations. I would definitely stay again. Thank you
Lovely time again at the Minstrel Lodge with family and friends, great accommodation, spacious and comfortable. However we still couldn’t work the sound system out despite the instructions given. Worth mentioning also the bed in the main bedroom, both wooden end corners at the foot of the bed are shin hazards, we caught our shins several times. We keep recommending this property to friends and we look forward to future stays.
I had three nights with the dog, in this lovely little apartment. Great location with easy access to the beach, The apartment is comfortable and fairly well equipped for a short break. My fifth visit to the area and certainly not my last. Would recommend for a short break away.
Lovely cosy cottage. We had a very enjoyable stay. Had a slight issue with a power failure. Anglesey holiday lettings were very prompt at sending someone out to fix the problem, thank goodness as the power failure happened at night. Would love to stay again.
Stayed for 3 nights in this very modern and comfortable house. Close to the beach and the village centre. Everything we needed was provided and the key lock-box made it very easy to come and go. We were a party of 10 and there was plenty of room.
I have been coming to Rhosneigr for years with my family and we all love the place, it holds some fab memories for us. For my 50th birthday I decided to share the village with my friends. We had a wonderful time at Porth Crigyll. It’s a beautiful property and in an amazing spot, right on the edge of the beach. The house has everything you need and is very spacious. Rhosneigr is in a great spot on the island, you could spend your whole stay in the village, there’s plenty to do, a beautiful beach, lots of activities, a couple of pubs/bars and a few restaurants. What more could you need?! It’s a...more
Our family had a fantastic week at Llan Y Coed. The facilities were great and catered for all of our needs. Location and proximity to walks and beaches was probably the best thing for us, as we had 3 fur babies with us. The property was a little tired in some areas e.g a little mould/damp around a few windows. However, it was early March and we were probably the first guests since new year and to be fair it didn’t impact our holiday. I would imagine the outside space would be amazing in the summer. We will definitely use Anglesey Holiday Lettings again and have already started our search.
What a fantastic location, literally seconds from the beach! A great apartment to spend a few days in December, it was spacious and lovely and warm. The kitchen is well equipped, master bedroom a great size - the only thing missing is curtains or a blind! Would be happy to book again.
Stopped over for 3 nights whilst dropping son and daughter back to uni - excellent location for Bangor. Beach is 2 minutes down the path and we had a fantastic time just walking up and down the beach with the dogs. The house we stayed in was very spacious, and we would stay again. Our only regret was that the town itself has very few venues that will accept dogs into their premises - we were hoping for a nice relaxing meal, a couple of drinks with our dogs out of the cooling evening. Unfortunately takeaways and home cooking was our best option. Also the town has 2 stores - 1 was closed fo...more
We had a lovely time at Cadair Arthur…a fabulous place to stay with a stunning view from the floor to ceiling window in the living room. It was a quiet location with easy access to the beach and prom. Very comfortable with plenty of space for us all (5 adults). We had everything we needed…,,although the kitchen knives could do with a sharpen! Would definitely recommend.
Having stayed at Bay view recently the property did not disappoint on our return visit. Bed linen and towels all good quality. The view was mesmerizing and had our attention while we were in the apartment. Its all about location, shops, pubs, restaurants, beach all just minutes away. And once again the weather was much better than forecast. Looking forward to returning soon.
Fourth stay , in this lovely house , perfect for our family get together , having 3 ensuite bedrooms is a big plus , everyone had their own space ! Anglesey holiday lettings were very helpful and accommodating, with our booking , and a pleasure to deal with . We all look forward to booking Ancones again soon .
Lovely cosy cottage . Third time we stayed there. Fully equipped with safe enclosed garden. Good position for shops and beaches
This was our second visit to Spring Tide and we thoroughly enjoyed it again. The house is well equipped and spotlessly clean and the location perfect for bracing walks on the beach. The welcome pack was really appreciated and contained really useful stuff and also included scrummy biscuits and our doggies were very impressed with their treats. Will be back again next year.
We arrived at the house and were really pleased with the location, so close to the beach and local shops. Our family, 5 adults, a 7 and 4 Yr old were really pleased will the layout, 4 downstairs bedrooms, 2 king, 1 double and children's room with good quality bunks and even books and small toys for them plus a full bathroom and shower room. Upstairs we found a lovely lounge with large windows and a little balcony plus a Christmas tree , another shower room with toilet and a big kitchen with dining table to seat us all, every possible kitchen utensil you will need, plus breakfast bar TV and ...more
Beautiful cottage, home from home in wonderful location. Stayed for my birthday in winter 2021 and returned Feb 23, just lovely
An excellent property for a large family. We were very comfortable, and the boot room is perfect for cleaning everyone up, including dogs, on returning from our walks along the super beach which is only 5 minutes away. We had a problem with the hot water on our arrival. This was swiftly dealt with following a phone call. The key safe would be better placed by the door that the key opens. A torch was a must to locate the key and enter the property. It was very welcoming with heating on, a lovely Christmas tree and gifts, which were delicious. We would love to come again.
The house was lovely and clean with plenty of room for a couple of families. The lounges were both comfortable and spacious with good views and access to the garden. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of crockery and glasses, chairs could do with replacing or at least tightening up on the legs. Bedrooms were fine but could benefit from blinds as the curtains are very thin, as could the bathroom. Garden isn't fully enclosed so you need to keep an eye on those little escape artists. Location is spot on for Rhosneigr and the beach.
very clean and modern property close to the village centre and beaches. Good sized bedrooms and comfortable lounge/ kitchen. Smart TV, off road parking it was ideal for the two of us and small dog.
Excellent location for our short break lovely cottage just the right size for 2 plus Charlie the dog. Close to the beach and ideal for visiting other areas of Anglesey, weather was kind to us so that made it even better! Recommended.
Had a lovely stay cottage was lovely everything you needed bedding and towels were spotless we both enjoyed our stay
Excellent accommodation, great value for money, comfy beds and excellent seating arranged to make the best of a superb view of the bay. Very well located parking space.
This is the second time we have stayed in the Aberfrraw cottages. For us, with our two Spaniels, it is an idyllic location. The dunes and beaches virtually on your doorstep are beautiful. Clean and empty. Great adventure for the dogs and a lovely walk. Just perfect. Aberfrraw has all the basics that you need, a pub and a small shop. During the winter the pub (The Crown) is closed on Mon/Tue/Wed but the Sunday lunch is excellent, booking a table is advised, the staff are really friendly and the local beer is spot on. The next village, Rhosneigor, also has beautiful beaches but many of t...more
Returned to Rhonwil for a second time as the location was ideal and the cottage spacious for our party of 5. I unfortunately had a nasty fall on the first few days of arriving and was pretty immobile so was thankful for the property being one level and it was really well suited for someone reliant on a wheelchair/zimmer/crutches. I was able to enjoy the rest of the stay and access the garden to enjoy the sunshine and it was a short journey in the wheelchair to have breakfast in the lovely eateries in the village. Cottage is very well equipped, furniture and beds are very comfortable and locati...more
We had the most perfect break away at white cottage. The location is a dream. The views from most rooms are stunning. Communication from Anglesey lettings was great and a bonus welcome pack with sweets wishing us a happy new year was a lovely touch. We were 3 families with 5 children and a dog. Plenty of space for everyone. We all agreed that we would all come again to white cottage.
Having read other reviews of Marimar there is not much I can add, location excellent but property tired. Bedrooms very comfortable and linen good. Unfortunately the bathroom and kitchen not appealing as felt cold and uninviting although kitchen well equipped. Enclosed garden good.
Excellent location,, perfect facilities to accommodate our party of five. A location I would recommend strongly.
Bryn Lon Mawr we s a fantastic base to explore Anglesey. A good location near the A55 meant that journeys to beach’s were easy. A couple of small jiggles woth the property eg floors/ ceilings are very thin which meant the bedrooms were loud in the evenings and the wifi is not great quality. However these did not detract to much from what was a great stay in a spacious comfy and well equipped house.
Absolutely beautiful place, we had a wonderful week. Would love to go back again. The cafe opposite does lovely food.
What a lovely house, right on the beach you can sit and watch the waves all day and the kite surfers and the hardy morning swimmers. The furniture is old but comfortable and matches the house, beds super comfortable everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. The downstairs bathroom is great for drying the dogs off before going into the house could maybe do with a shower seat and grip handle for the less mobile guest’s. Kitchen well enough equipped, plenty of dvds books games and jigsaw’s ( a few pieces missing) try the penguin one for a challenge. Lovely walk’s with the dogs, pubs dog frie...more
Lovely bungalow in a fantastic location. Only yards from the beach. Very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this property.
If you want a perfect location for walking, relaxing or simply enjoying the view, this is the place for you! The property is superior and the village of Cemaes Bay is absolutely charming - not spoilt and the locals are so friendly and welcoming. The beaches are beautiful and perfect for dog runs. We’d recommend Gadlys as the food and staff are excellent. Bron Wendon itself is amazingly equipped with everything from a fire pit, log burner, binoculars, extensive kitchen supplies, even hair straighteners! Our daughter even discovered remote control cars which run brilliantly on the wooden floors...more
Loved the decor of this apartment and location. It was right in the centre of Rhosneigr close to cafes, restaurants and the beach.Great views.I enjoyed people watching. There is a nice little garden that catches early morning sun as well as a balcony but this could be made more private by adding screening down one side. There is a huge fridge freezer and a dishwasher. We parked right outside on the road.We found the double bed a bit small as we are used to a superking so my husband slept on a single bed but otherwise a lovely stay would book again!
Always love staying here. Ideal location, a stones throw from the beach and the village. House has everything you need and was toasty warm in the cold winter. Will be coming back!
The Nest at the White Eagle is a fabulous place to stay on Anglesey with a family group. It was spotlessly clean and kitted out with good quality furnishings. The beds were superbly comfortable with really lovely high spec bedding. I normally take my own pillow with me when I travel, as I never find pillows in hotels and self catering accommodation suit me but the ones here were fab - my own pillow went back into the boot of my car. There is more cutlery and crockery than I have ever known to be provided in a self catering property where, quite often, you are rooting round to find enough kniv...more
This was our 2 nd visit to this property. We felt very happy and safe. The standard of the decor is very high con sidering the age of the property. The TV gets a little more attention as the controls are not quite standard but are perfectly negotiable. Bed is extremely comfy (double) single beds not used. Our Dacshund Bertie loves this part of the world as we ddi. Highly recommend
Great location for exploring Anglesy . Accommodation has everything you need and all in good condition. Garden was great for the grandchildren and our dog, just the right size and secure.
