I’ve stayed in six different cottages in Rhosneigr over the past 12 months, I can honestly say that The Boathouse is the best, and it’s my husband’s favourite. Part of a larger building where the owner’s boat is stored, the property has been beautifully renovated and immediately makes you feel relaxed and calm from the moment you arrive. Had an excellent stay at The Wave over a scorching bank holiday weekend. We are a family of four - a couple with two kids under 10 yrs old. The apartment was clean, comfortable and quiet with good amenities in an excellent location for a great price. It was lovely to see the sea from the windows. It’s in a great location - a pleasant 5 min stroll to the beach one way, where we loved swimming and playing in the dunes, and into Rhosneigr centre the other - for nipping out for morning coffees, afternoon ice creams and evening fish and chips, and to enjoy the lovely local shops and eateries. ...more
Thank you Anglesey Holiday Lettings for a wonderful stay at Braeside. We know Rhosneigr well but it was our first time staying at Braeside and we can’t wait to book again. Bedrooms are spacious with comfy beds, the garden is beautiful and the house is packed with everything you need for cooking, comfort and fun. Some highlights for us included a rain shower in the en suite, comfy beds and a beautiful garden to sit and eat in (we were very lucky with the weather!) The property is immaculate and very well stocked with everything you may need. Perfect for us with our toddler and our dog. Enclosed garden let us relax with the dog outside, and a cupboard of games kept our child occupied when we were home. Right on the coast path for walks, the cycle path for rides and 5mins from Newborough or Aberffraw for beautiful beaches. The village has a pub and a chippy and is beautiful and quaint. We will definitely return to Malltraeth and kite cottage. Had a fantastic time.
Perfect location and a great house. This was our second time staying at The Old Pottery and will definitely be back in the future. The only thing we felt was missing and would be great was a hot tub.
Lush few days away, the hut was very clean and comfortable, just missing a few items like tea-spoons, and could do with a mow of the lawn as it looked a little bedraggled outside! The location was excellent and the footpath from the hut into town was a hidden gem. Would definitely return
Hosts were so friendly and informative and genuinely wanted you to have a nice time. Wood for the external firepit and the internal log burner was provided which was such a lovely touch. The Views from The Hoot are brilliant and there is so much wildlife constantly walking by. The village is a 25 Minute walk and you are close by to everywhere on the island to have a good explore. The spacious apartment was spotlessly clean with everything you need for a relaxing break. Comfortable beds, good quality bedding and furnishing and the most stunning view. The welcome package was a lovely surprise and very much appreciated! Situated a couple of minutes walk from the beach, it's a little gem!

We had a fantastic stay in this modern house, inside everything was catered for. Spacious, supremely clean and well kitted out. The weather was great so we also spent time in the garden, the photos on line sis not show the seating area and barbeque which were lovely and functional and a pleasant surprise. What a wonderful spot for our family break! To wake to those views, that we never tired of. The perfect place To gather our thoughts and spend quality time together as a family. We have very recently lost our father and it was so nice to sit outside in the sheltered area and reflect on stories about him, sharing a cheers together. The dogs loved it and were truly worn out with all the fresh air and endless breathtaking Coastal walks. We had an absolutely amazing time and did not want to leave, Thankyou Y Cei!!
Lovely cottage, clean, spacious and everything you need for a home away from home. Great location for exploring Anglesey, just off A55 but still a peaceful location. Exactly like the pictures. Would highly recommend.

We have had another great holiday in this comfy cottage. Great location, well equipped and superbly clean. Parking a bit of a challenge at times but we always managed to get on a street fairly near. We shall be back again next year.

This was so much better than we expected! Great location easy short walk to town and the beach! Plenty of off road parking! Fantastic beds very comfortable with lovely linen. Superb accommodation, bungalow had everything you needed for a lovely holiday. Stayed with son, wife and twins aged nearly 3 - loved the play room. Plenty to do in the area and even though the weather was mixed we found plenty to do to keep the little ones entertained - Sea Zoo and Nature World.
This is a great property right in the centre of Rhosneigr, it was one of the best properties we have stayed in and we have been visiting the area for a number of years. I would certainly recommend it for its layout, equipment & position.
We loved the location in Rhosneiger and the access to the beach. The house has a nice upside down design with living accommodation on the top floor. However the bedrooms are very small with only one of the four rooms having a wardrobe or any hanging space. It was a tight fit for five adults and two teenagers. It was hard work preparing food for seven people with one small fridge and limited utensils (initially only three teaspoons for a house that sleeps eight). I have visited this property several times before and it was a joy to return, especially with the lovely weather. It is a peaceful place with a stunning view and it's a good place to relax. It's a shame the recliner chair is no longer there as it was so comfortable, but otherwise much remained the same. There were a few housekeeping issues but the staff were very responsive and acted quickly to put things right. I really enjoyed my stay and plan to return next year.
This is the second time we have stayed at Monfa and we’ll be back for a third in the near future! Beautiful property, very clean, great location. We had a lovely stay and didn’t want to go home!
Off the Hook was a perfect property for our much needed 5 day break. Really comfy beds and sofa, well equipped kitchen. Ideal location and walking distance to all the facilities in Rhosneigr, will definitely be back
A very comfortable, clean 2 bed cottage on the edge of an estuary which leads to the sea, a nature reserve and sand dunes. Good for seeing water and meadow birds. There is a really good cafe within the complex of cottages. Dogs are allowed on the sandy beach with no restrictions. I would have liked some recycling bins, instead of just a large general waste bin at the entrance to the complex.

We have been coming to Rhosneigr for the last 5 years, some times twice a year and we wish we had found kittiwake cottage sooner. It’s extremely well presented and a superb position for all amenities. Extremely comfortable, home from home and we will be booking again. Thank you for a wonderful holiday experience.
Spacious & full of light but lacking: despite what Anglesey said twice property does NOT have name or number on it. Spacious conservatory but ALL chairs/sofas need new cushions as they are all really flat. No decent mugs so we bought our own. Has the potential to be fab but it isn’t. Shame really. There’s something odd about the electrics as sometimes we had lights in both kitchen and living room but not always. Cost doesn’t reflect quality.
Loved my stay at Bryn Bach. It was in a peaceful setting looking out over fields with bird song (and jets) and large floor to ceiling windows letting in lots of light. Very clean and modern with a "hygge" feel to it. Spacious and well thought out, it had everything needed for a cosy stay on the Isle of Anglesey. A great base to explore from. Which I did! Rhosneigr beach is just a short walk away and also worth an amble around Lake Maelog which is just minutes away from the door. A beautiful spot and excellent location for exploring Anglesey. Accommodation was exceptional, very well equipped. We had both sections of the barn which was good for the family, 3 generations, to spread out and have some space. The garden is good for the kids, swings were a bonus. (Need to upgrade the bbq). Lots of information available at the venue. A 5 minute drive to a large retail outlet, Tesco, Morrisons, Aldi, KFC etc. Everywhere seemed to be no more than 30 minutes away. I would highly recommend this property.
We have stayed at Tamarisk numerous times and this stay was just as good. The bungalow is spotless, well equipped and in an excellent location with great sea views. Plenty room for us 2 adults and 2 collies. We will be back again
We had another fantastic stay at Cool Waves in Rhosneigr. The property is perfectly set up for your stay and has everything you need. Its in a great location for the beach, walking into the centre of Rhosneigr and for exploring Anglesey.
Our third stay at Morawelon and where we now call our ‘ Happy Place’. Its location is perfect whatever the weather due to the position near the beach and view from sitting area. Ideal for anyone with reduced mobility with just the one step at entrance door and spacious living area. Kitchen has everything required for self catering, alternatively good choice of restaurants and takeaways in walking distance. Perfect.
We loved staying in Rhiannon and it was lovely and clean as usual . The staff could not be more helpful and we enjoyed being beat the beach , thanks for plenty of nice soft clean towels and all the stuff we needed in the kitchen , being near that lovely cafe on sight was a bonus. We come to Anglesey every year to meet all the other Shiba Inu dog owners and booked this property as it was all that was available. However we were so impressed we have booked it again for next year.
The bungalow was well kept & the front garden was lovely. It was just out of the centre of Rhosneigr but only a 5 minute to the beach & everything was close enough to walk too. Would definitely stay there again.
We enjoyed our stay at Gardd Nain. The house has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The views are amazing. We enjoyed watching the aircraft from RAF Valley. Beds are comfy and the bedding and towels are high quality, as with all ALH properties. We found the sofas a little uncomfortable. The garden is great. There were plenty of rabbits in the garden, which drove our little dogs crazy. We will hopefully return to Gardd Nain in the future.
Bluebells is a lovely property located in a great spot that is handy for places to eat, a beach near by and fantastic views of the sea. The decor is beautiful, we all enjoyed our stay. The only small niggle we had was that there are no large serving spoons so it was difficult to dish up food.
The Brackens has an idealic location on the estuary. Watching the birds in the morning & evening is so peaceful & relaxing. Its also a great location to explore the island. The property is amazing, very comfortable & lovely with its huge windows to make the most of the views. Absolutely fabulous place to stay
This is the third time we have stayed in the apartment. It's centrally located and spacious enough for a family. The only gripe is that the fridge is tiny and no where near enough space for a family. They'd be better getting rid of the freezer and having a full size fridge/freezer.
A beautifully calm and spacious place to stay. The location near the sea, with its gorgeous coastline, was incredible, and hearing the waves from the property made the whole experience feel deeply relaxing. Everything was thoughtfully provided, and it felt less like accommodation and more like a private coastal retreat. (Note that when we got there, the name of the property was Wavecrest and not Lagwn Glas, which was confusing when we arrived! But that did not spoil our break. )
I have been staying in Rhosnieger for many years and this was my second time in sunset view and the ocean view makes you feel like your on holiday from the moment you wake up
We had an amazing stay at Driftwood and would highly recommend it. The house is beautifully presented, incredibly comfortable, and immediately felt like a home away from home. The outdoor space was a lovely bonus, and having parking available made everything even more convenient. The location is perfect — just a short walk to the beach, shops, and local amenities, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer. The you was clean and welcoming. It was comfortable and the location was a hit with all of us. We enjoyed our walks on the beach watching the sunsets. It was easy access to sites to visit. Another lovely holiday in Anglesey.
Stones Throw was perfect for us. The garden is fully enclosed which was ideal for our dog. It’s in a great location near the beach and restaurants.
Absolutely wonderful, the Dairy was a beautiful well maintained barn conversion, spotlessly clean tastefully decorated throughout, with own garden for our cocker to play outside securely, everything provided for a lovely relaxing stay, great peaceful location with stunning views and great coastline walks . We had a lovely time in Anglesey for a family celebration. It was a delight to visit old haunts , the island is a treat . Ty Feram was an ideal size, warm and cosy with comfortable beds for the large party although not without a few hiccups, sorted out by the management team. Also worth noting as no heating in the conservatory can’t be used in the depths of winter but still beautiful views . Also noted no welcome pack as in - info on appliances /heating/ etc .
A lovely little property which is dog friendly. Nice little extras left as a welcome pack and a thoughtful spare dog towel which was needed. Only problem we had was accessing the key safe, after knocking at another holiday customer, we managed to get access. Bit fiddly but once inside we were surprised how lovely it was. Bed very comfy
I have had a number of holidays in various units on this complex and have always been totally satisfied . However after arriving outside Ty Arthur at 6pm on the 12th May , having travelled some 350 miles from my home in Eastbourne , I found that the key was missing from the key safe . After attempting to contact the emergency number several times I was finally able to speak to a Company ' s representative who assisted by talking me through the process of obtaining a second key within the complex . We had a fantastic stay at The Moorings. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beaches, which made it ideal for a family getaway. The Moorings had everything we needed and the arrival hamper was a really nice touch. Rhosneigr was lovely - Great coffee at Notos, Fish & Chips was delicious from Scarlett’s. We’d definitely recommend it and would love to return.
Just returned from a week here, the house is beautiful, location great and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The views from the balcony are stunning and we certainly had the weather to enjoy it!
Spent a very enjoyable week at Ty Cwyfan. The cottage was very well equipped and the fridge freezer was a great size for a group/family for the week. The cottage was always nice and warm and the beds were really comfortable. It was a bonus having an en-suite for each of the 3 rooms and the showers were hot and powerful. The room was even larger than it appeared on the photos, so plenty room for 6 people to enjoy meals together and relax afterwards! A great property in the heart of Rhosneigr and close to amenities. The bedrooms on the lower floor remain cool in the heat, and the bifold doors in the kitchen opening onto the veranda make the upstairs space even more appealing.
We stayed at Minstrel Lodge over Easter. The house is in a wonderful location with views on one side to the mountains and views on the other side to the sea and RAF Valley. It was lovely to look out each day and see the waves from the sea, as well as the planes taking off and landing from the RAF base. The house itself is a bit tired in places but that’s to be expected with a holiday house. The only issue we really had is that the house wasn’t very clean. We have stayed at Ty Traeth many times over the past 7 years and last year it looked tired in places. This years visit the house was clearly updated and back to the standard we are used too. :) We will absolutely return again, this is a very special house to us, it’s a shame that in the spring and summer prices are extremely high so we do have to take the risk of going in the winter time with unpredictable weather.
We keep returning to this unique property, as we love its stunning sea views and perfect location on the beach. We usually book it for just the two of us and our dog, with sometimes family joining us. The house is spacious, warm and welcoming. However, as mentioned in our previous reviews and considering the increasing price we pay every time, we would expect better seating upstairs(sofas not comfortable) and more outside seating for 6 people. The house was a perfect location for our stay, everybody had their own rooms to themselves and we enjoyed the break.
This house is beautiful and very spacious and is in an ideal location. For me though (who has recently had surgery) I found the stairs were too steep and with no carpet I was worried about slipping when i was just in my socks. There is also a steep step on the landing to get to the bathroom which i think should be painted a different colour as it being all painted white it could easily be misjudged especially when going to the toilet in the night. Our second visit to Rhos Colyn. Can t fault the apartment. Any one with mobility issues would struggle with the steep stairs.
We stayed at Cwalafila over Easter and it was both spacious and comfortable, plenty of space for everyone. Location close to beach, cafes and still quite private. Lovely property and great service from letting agent.
Ancones is a beautiful property in the heart of rhosneigr, great access to the beach and cafes/restaurants. The house is very spacious and comfortable and has everything needed for your break away, we would definitely recommend and hope to stay again in the future.
Unfortunately the second day I was admitted to Bangor hospital. Anglesey Holiday lettings were very helpful. They sorted out booking an extra 2 nights so my partner could use as a base and continue visiting. We have visited tyn several times now and will deffo be coming back
This was our second visit to Coed y Llan. The accommodation is perfect for a family group. It is spotlessly clean, in a perfect location within easy walking distance of the Oyster Catcher and the centre of Rhosneigr. There are also numerous walking routes from the property. We had a lovely family weekend in this spacious and comfortable house.
Our family enjoyed a comfortable stay at the cottage with all the amenities we required. The check in time of 5pm made our first day very short but we settled in quickly thanks to the information on the web portal. Breakfast in the conservatory, watching the goldfinches and robins, was the highlight for us. The water was slow to drain in the shower especially after a few consecutive shower users. Fine weather meant we were out and about for the day. Overall - good.
It must be good as we keep coming back! Very comfortable and great location for the whole island. Heating was a bit limited but the staff soon provided an extra heater for us. Have already booked again for next year.
We had a wonderful stay in this cottage, which was very clean and comfortable. It's in a quiet location and very close to Aberffraw beach. We have stayed here before and will be coming back next year. The view from our window was delightful, we overlooked a field with sheep and their lambs that came right up to the window. There is a local pub and a small newsagent within walking distance. The outside entrance is grassed over and enclosed so was safe for our 2 dogs. Looking forward to our next stay...

Great weeks stay in Cae Cloc. In a great location and lovely home with a great garden to relax in. Close to the beach and Rhosneigr village but private and quiet.
Booking the room was made very easy, over the phone. The price (excellent value for money), location and the self-catering equipment make the room an ideal home from home. A short walk from the beach and the High Street, The Dunes becomes great for just staying put or for as a base for exploring more of Ynys Mon. With being doggy friendly too, it means that the furry family member can come too. I would suggest just two improvements. We stayed during the May heatwave, which made the room uncomfortably warm. The cottage was warm, comfortable and ideally situated for discovering the island. It was generally clean and well equipped but there were some very minor issues which I feel need attention… . three of the four cereal bowls were cracked and/or badly chipped . the vegetable peeler did not function . there was no potato masher . the cheese grater had not been washed after its last use . the kitchen waste bin was awkward to use and needed updating. The planning and management of my booking was first class. Thank you. It was a most enjoyable holiday.
We have stayed with AHL many times, however, this property was below standard compared to other ones we have stayed in. The cleanliness was not of the normal high AHL standard we have come to expect. We were a party of 5 adults and a toddler so bedroom configuration was fine but the living area I would say seats 5 max so although the property sleeps 8 the seating area does not accommodate this number. On arrival oil was needed and came the following day, we settled in and we're pleased to see new sofas in the living area which recline and these were amazing. But the walls are still peeling and need freshening up in both lounge and bathroom. On the second day the downstairs toilet broke and needed fixing. Anglesey HL sent someone out but it couldn't be fixed fully without a part and was a pain as I didn't like using it for fear it worsening. Hafan gives you a stylish sea side vibe, it is very clean and has been updated with another double bedroom. The fourth twin bed room is VERY cramped. The location is very special with lovely sea views and just 50 yards from the beach. On the down side we found the sofas in the lounge really uncomfortable, plenty of scatter cushions but the main upholstery cushion is very low and ‘sagging’! Our 3rd visit to this property. I booked it again because it has worked for us, location is great and space is lovely. Our older dog is almost blind now and the short walk to the beach suits his old joints as well. The problems previously highlighted are still there. It doesn’t get thoroughly cleaned, shower trap so jammed up with filth it almost flooded the room this time. Stank awful and looked like it had never been cleaned. We stayed here for the weekend as 3 friends with 3 dogs and was perfect for our needs. The location couldn't be any better with the beach and sea at the end of the road. The house itself was well equipped with a lovely welcome pack. Having 3 bathrooms is definitely a bonus and we enjoyed the open plan kitchen/diner and lounge area. We have booked with Anglesey Lettings many times, but first time at this property. Lovely house, parking outside for 2 cars plus extra if needed, good location,walking distant to Rhosneigr, beaches and The Oyster Catcher, well presented, enclosed garden so good for children and dog owners. Location was amazing, stones throw from a fantastic beach that was very dog friendly. The view was also lovely from the property. Property itself was large spacious for 2 families of 3, child friendly and had lots of space needed for us all. It was done to a good standard and was clean tidy and well equipped. Could have benefitted from more essentials however, there are 4 toilets in the property and we only had 3 rolls of toilet paper so there was always one that got moved and someone would be left without. Myself, my partner, 4 kids and mother in law stayed at the property for a week. The house was lovely and in a great location for the shops. The bedrooms were perfect and having two lounges meant the kids could have their own tv. A few downsides to the property, no balcony door or garage key was provided so the kids could easily access these which was not ideal. The front door to the property is a twist lock which when having kids in the property was not good as our 3 year old could easily turn it and just let himself out. This did happen a few times. This accommodation is perfect, there is not much more to be said. It has everything you could need, it’s decorated absolutely beautifully, it’s spacious and bright, it’s very conveniently located and the views and nearby walks are just incredible. We mentioned there was no firepit one day and a brand new firepit was delivered within hours, so customer service is also 10/10. The only possible negative I could think of is there are limited places to eat within walking distance, Cemaes Bay is crying out for a seafront pub/restaurant.

Our second visit to White Cottage and we have already booked for next summer. The hot-tub was a great success and well maintained. The location and views are spectacular. All appliances were in working order. The separate freezer was a real bonus as was the additional oven. A great venue for a large gathering.

We visit lovely Rhosneigr regularly but our first stay at Marimar. Lovely bungalow in a great position close enough to the beach to be able to see the wind/ kite surfers from the window ( a bonus on our one stormy day). Well equipped , clean and very comfortable beds. Usual excellent service from Anglesey Holiday Lettings. Everything perfect despite booking at 48 hours notice.
It was a lovely property with a fabulous location but there is some tlc needed. We had to fix a leaky radiator and the kitchen tap also leaked. Someone had also started to decorate so done all the edges of the walls which was a bit random. Overall a lovely property though.
Absolutely loved our stay in The Nest at the White Eagle. This is our third year visiting. The only reason we have scored lower on condition and cleanliness is the roof terrace which consisted of a broken table, discarded parasol frame and scattered chairs all requiring a good clean so unfortunately we couldn’t sit out as we would have liked. The apartment was beautiful
Excellent spacious property in outstanding position. Although we were not able to use the outside area due to weather. Some of the outdoor furniture could do with some TLC . Everything else 5 star
We had a lovely stay in this apartment. It was comfortable,clean and well equipped. The location is excellent, minutes from the sea and the shops. The double bedroom is small and not really suitable for anyone with mobility issues as it's difficult to manoeuvre around the bed it is very comfortable when you get in it though . Although there are designated parking spaces at the front of the property you don't get to use one ? Not sure why not? We have usually stayed in Aberffraw on our annual trips to Anglesey but we decided on Rhosneigr this time. The property was tired, not as nice as the others we have stayed in, but I accept that it is much older. However, the location is right on the main crossroads and a busy area. Very easy to hear the conversations of passers by even though the windows were closed!! We were in the ground floor apartment and our upstairs neighbours were not exactly quiet. However, there is a nice little pub 50m from the property which sells a very good pint of hand pulled cask ale. I'd return to Rhosneig...more
Lived up to expectations. Excellent location and perfect for our short stay requirements in terms of comfort and facilities. Only area to improve was the shower did not work well (variable temperature control).
Great location and couple of minutes walk to the beach and close to shops/restaurants &bars. Sunny garden great for chilling out. Accommodation comfortable and great for a family. Plenty to see within short car journeys if you want a change from the beach.
