Ty Rhos Newyyd is a stunning property! We were there for a family 3 generations joint birthday celebration. The house is extremely well equipped with more than enough room for 10 guests. We loved every aspect of it and so happy to have celebrated our family occasion there. Thank you so much for making our visit memorable.

Ty Rhos Newydd is a stunning short break getaway. The house is amazing and the children loved the games room and cinema room. There’s lots of room and the kitchen is incredibly well equipped!
The property is a short drive to various things to do, so whilst there’s nothing locally to walk to, you are never far from something to do!

We arrived at Ty Rhos Newydd as it was getting dark, so hadn’t spotted the multiple signs on the neighbours vans, car & house - “Residents against Holiday homes” etc… on arrival the house smelt of drains & and the WiFi wasn’t working. I have the same bt hub at home, so tried resetting it multiple times but couldn’t get it to work. Non of us had any phone signal so we had to walk to the shared driveway to get 3G. This was annoying the neighbours. But we had no other way of contacting maintenance re the WiFi being down / TVs not working. There were also some new mums in my group who were wanting to check in with partners & kids at home…paid extra for the use of the hot tub, but the key to unlock the hot tub straps was stuck in a jammed key box. The house has lots of positives too! Comfy beds, bright and airy. Well equipped kitchen etc. I got in touch with customer service after our stay - really defensive and suggested we were basically lying about the smell and WiFi. They also said we had caused damage to the hot tub and this was a blatant lie. Unsatisfactory!

Samantha, your review is quite disappointing and unfairly represents the property and the service that we offer. Rest assured I take poor reviews seriously, I review and action any points & lessons learned from the process and communication regarding the complaints. Having read through the emails between yourselves and my staff, discussed the situation with the Housekeeping & Maintenance team, I believe the following to be correct: The internet was working during the changeover period as Whatsapp messages and calls were made between the team at the property and my front desk, the owner's heating App was live ahead of your arrival and overnight. The team were made aware of the hot tub key safe issues and attended first thing the following morning, they replaced the key safe for new and found that the internet hub had been switched off; I have been briefed by the Maintenance team that you had already accessed the hot tub by removing the screws for the retaining straps; how else did you get in? At no point during your stay did you mention to my team (via email or in person) about a smell in the property until you departed. Rest assured my team did respond quickly to the niggles you had and if we had known about any other issues we would have dealt with them efficiently; we work hard to achieve this. Ty Rhos Newydd is a beautiful home in a marvellous location, the owners and my team work very hard to provide a great experience for guests and unfair reviews like this do nothing other than undermine their efforts. Unsatisfactory indeed.

This house is amazing. Big and spacious for our family to be together and also to break away.
High quality home that has a WOW factor.

The only downside is that it is situated quite a way down a dirt/ grass track

We have just returned from a weeks stay here. We were a group of 6 adults, 4 children & 3 dogs & we all had enough space & plenty to do for everyone.
The hot tub was amazing & such a great addition as well as the games room.
The cinema room was also great the only problem we had is that the Wi-Fi didn’t reach which meant we couldn’t watch Netflix it was only the dvds that were provided, not sure if that was just us maybe not connecting something correctly.
There was beach about a 5 minutes drive which was perfect for us as dogs were allowed on & the car park was 10 seconds away from the beach.
Only thing we missed but wasn’t essential was a BBQ with such a beautiful outside space this would have been great to use. We did think one was provided as on one of the pictures you can see one but when re read the description it doesn’t say one is included.
Also the tap for the dogs outside we couldn’t find a little hose to attach so we couldn’t wash the dogs down properly.
Overall a stunning house & we are already looking at booking again next year, it was also lovely to meet the owners at the end of the stay.

This property was exceptional, and suited the needs for our family celebrating a big birthday/anniversary. The house was exceptionally clean, well equipped internally, and matched the pictures/property description. We loved that each bedroom had its own en-suite, and there was a toilet in the utility (close to the hot tub/games room). We spoke to the owner on our last day, and made some suggested improvements which would have put the icing on the cake for us. These included a BBQ (we had thought we had seen that one was available) along with comfortable seat pads for the bench seats. It would also be good to change the pans with metal handles (for safety, as they can burn your hands when in use), the bean bags in the lounge are a great addition for guests use when everyone tries to sit in there, but could use the addition of some more beans for comfort. Finally, the games room is looking a little tired, and some improvements here might be necessary in the near future. We also found a few anomalies between the literature supplied by the owners/Anglesey Holiday Lettings, which needs to be addressed.
These are generally just some little niggles we encountered that could be improved upon easily, guests are paying a premium for a quality stay, and we understand expectations are different for all. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and loved the isolated location (if you’re a future guest, don’t think you’re heading in the wrong direction down tiny lanes, the instructions provided by the Lettings Company were ideal). Thanks go to the owners for giving us a magical week making memories with 3 generations, who all enjoyed themselves. For any future guests looking for a nice meal, head to the Bay View Restaurant in the Gwesty Gadlys Hotel, Caemes Bay. We enjoyed an amazing Sunday lunch and midweek meal there, well worth a visit.

We had a fantastic week at Ty Rhos Newydd. It was spotlessly clean and everything was of the highest quality. The cinema and games rooms were a big plus. The perfect place for a staycation for a large family. The local beach (5 minutes drive) is beautiful with great amenities. We will definitely stay again!

Great property with added bonus of all bedrooms being en-suite. Lots of space inside & outside. Well equipped kitchen & great selection of books ,games etc for the odd wet day. Kids loved the cinema room. Closest beach (Lligwy) was one of our favourites. Lots to do close by. Would recommend.

Beautiful, modern and spacious property which easily accommodates 10 adults,3 dogs. This house is well thought through for your pets to have a great break too. We have made great memories having the best fun here and look forward to returning in the future

Thank you, we had a great weekend the house is beautiful and true reflection to the photos. It was spotlessly clean and the banana cake was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely modern house. Lots of space to utilise. Very secluded location but directions provided were very helpful. Recommendations from our group would be to have a small heater in the games room as this is very cold to use in the winter. Be careful if going in there with wet feet after the hot tub as floor very slippery. Also a sofa would be a nice addition in the kitchen. Otherwise a fantastic house to holiday in. Very well equipped.

Booked for a friends 50th birthday celebrations and didn’t disappoint. Standard of accommodation was excellent and very well equipped. 5 couples and plenty of room for everyone. Highly recommend staying here

My family and I came here for a week for my son to recuperate after surgery. We couldn't fault the place. The house is absolutely amazing. We loved the style, decoration and fantastic lighting - it was all very luxurious and has made me come home and start redecorating! It was so great having 3 of the bedrooms on the ground floor as we brought my Mum and Mother-in-law. The bedrooms are well equipped and with each having it's own ensuite, makes it extra special. My Mother-in-law loved the shower rooms that come complete with a really good quality hand wash, moisturiser, shampoo and body wash. The children loved the games room, but of course the hot tub was definitely a highlight for everyone. The kitchen was immaculately well stocked with anything you may need, even for baking and home cooking, which we enjoyed. Having the cinema room with the reclining chairs and huge screen made for cosy nights. The house has absolutely everything that you would need for a fabulous holiday getaway, but with all the comforts of home. My Mum commented that 'it's all the little things' in every room that make it such a great place to stay. All this coupled with the fact you have so many wonderful places to visit which are so close, makes this such a great property. We are looking forward to next time!

We stayed in Ty Rhos Newydd as a family 2 adults, 3 kids aged 16,9 and 6. We didn’t want to leave after spending such a magical time in such a beautiful place. Secluded, but not really considering town is less than 5 mins away, and the beaches are within easy reach. Beautiful property so spacious, amazing features with cinema room, games room, hot tub and enclosed garden for the dogs to run wild. Words can not describe how perfect this property is. Gorgeous welcome pack, and so many little features like the outside warm water hose to clean the dogs down. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Beds were so comfortable my little one actually discovered the meaning of a lie in We even managed to get our food delivered so didn’t need to move. The only things we felt were missing was TV’s in all the bedrooms only as that caused issues over who was sleeping where, and heating in the games room as it was very cold at night. Without the extra directions from the owners it was difficult to find, but I cant fault the owners communication was amazing, responded straight away and so helpful. Thank you so much for such a memorable stay we loved it so much we have already booked to stay again x
