The Boathouse was magnificent and we must have been one of the first few guests to stay there. Everything was modern and new with every amenity possible. Loads of nice little touches on arrival. Will definitely be staying again, already booked for October 2026.

Minor areas for improvement; the property is open all they way around the back and our dog when in the mini outside space could in fact escape out into the road, therefore property would benefit from a small gate or panel blocking off the exit to make the outside space secure. In addition an EV charger would have been excellent. It wasn’t a problem as there are chargers not far from the Boathouse (the library) but there was an EV actually fitted to the building but is was not available to use. This would have been brilliant if available to pay-as-you-use. Just a thought!

Overall excellent 10/10, and definitely returning!

Could not fault our stay at the Boathouse! We could have happily lived there permanently! Super clean, stylish yet practical. Only one thing could have made it perfect was different depth of pillows to sleep on. They were gorgeous and puffy and looked great on the bed but I sleep on slimmer ones - perhaps a pillow menu next time?!
