Welcome to Ty'r Môr. A stylish, pet‑friendly Rhosneigr escape for 6, tucked just behind the sandy dunes and 5 minutes walk from the village.

Great stay ruined by rock hard orthopedic bed

This holiday cottage was an almost for us, very nearly perfect. It felt newly furnished and was to a very high finish.
Evening views were stunning (you will need to bring your own outside furniture like we did).
There was one main problem that means we unfortunately won't book it again.
The bed was a has a cheap extra firm orthopedic mattress which felt like sleeping on concrete. I've lived my life working away in hotels and we holiday 3 or 4 times a year in the UK each year - I've never slept on a mattress that was so uncomfortably hard.
Reading about the specific mattress online says it is unsuitable for the vast majority of people, maybe only back sleepers used to a very hard mattress. For the majority who are side sleepers I think this mattress could actually cause injury such as bursitis and should especially be avoided by anyone with existing hip or shoulder problems - it is that bad.
If they replace the mattress or get decent mattress toppers than this would be a five star property for us.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. We're delighted to hear you enjoyed so many aspects of Ty'r Mor, particularly the high standard of the furnishings, the finish of the property and those stunning evening views. It's great to know it came so close to being the perfect stay. We're sorry to hear the mattress wasn't to your personal preference. We appreciate that mattress comfort is very subjective, and whilst some guests prefer a firmer mattress, others find it less comfortable. Following your feedback, we've arranged for a substantial mattress topper to be added to provide a softer sleeping surface and offer greater comfort for future guests. Thank you again for your feedback. It helps us make informed improvements, and we hope you'll consider visiting Anglesey again in the future.

A lovely new addition to the Rhosneigr holiday lettings market. Gorgeous decor throughout. Views to die for especially at sunset. Walking distance to the beautiful beach! The house has everything you could ask for for a fantastic holiday. My only complaint is the mattress in the main bedroom which is hands down the worst mattress I’ve ever slept on. As a consequence I had the worst week’s sleep and honestly considered sleeping on the sofa! I think that’s a such a shame as in every other aspect no expense has been spared to make the property perfect.

We've just had a family long weekend with our two dogs. Ty'r Mor is beautiful. Don't be fooled by the approach. You arrive at the rear of the property which is in a terraced row. The overall view at the back isn't great. But don't worry. Step inside and it's pure magic. Beautiful furnishings, tasteful decor, high end crockery and glass ware, kitchen utensils, and under-floor heating too. The whole set up is really lovely, warm and cosy.

And then there the view! The lounge and the master bedroom at the front look out across the sand dunes to Cymyran Bay and Rhoscolyn on the other side of the bay. We were able to go out of the front door, across the front garden and on to the sand dunes. You can walk for a couple of miles without coming to a road.

We're planning to return in the autumn.

Recently refurbished the property is lovely -open plan kitchen/diner /lounge means you can see the sea all day . Very spacious living area -good sized bedrooms and the bathrooms/ensuite are all
Very good . We were blessed with sunshine which poured into the property -and were on in the beach in minutes - Dogs easily catered for and a sheltered alleyway to dry and rinse off after a sea walk .A thoroughly lovely home from home property

Ty'r Mor was a perfect location for our first trip to Anglesey. The property is beautifully renovated, well equipped, spacious and was spotless on arrival. The views are stunning. We were straight onto the gorgeous beach or just a few minutes into the town with lots of appealing cafes etc.

The property is beautiful throughout. It feels spacious and light and is equpped to a very hight standard.
In the long weekend that we spent at Ty'r Mor, we experienced Anglesey weather at it's best, and at it's worst. The heated radiator in the cloakroom was an absolute boon for drying waterproofs etc ready for the next outing. The weather cannot spoil a stay here - just get togged up, and you can walk for miles in either dierction along the beach and you don't even have to cross a road.
I loved the well equipped kitchen - so easy to knock up a tasty meal.
There are plenty of places to eat locally - we had a delicious meal at the Sandymount.
