Dwylan was a truly lovely place to stay. The large sofa and the sofa and chairs in the smaller sitting room are so comfortable. The beds were comfy and the master bedroom had memory foam pillows that we now are looking at buying for ourselves. The master room did not have any wardrobe space, only drawers which was unusual, but not a deal breaker.
There is some outside space, which is not pictured in the listing, there is an outdoor table and chairs, a washing line and a brick built BBQ area, alongside some astroturf. It is not large and could be improved on, but it was still good to have. The downstairs bedroom opens onto the garden as do the 2 sets of patio doors in the main living area. There is also a balcony upstairs with furniture, which was nice to sit out and have a read on.
The kitchen was great, all the equipment you need to cook a meal, more storage than you are likely to need (we had a whole set of drawers for recycling, and there were still many drawers not used).
During the week there are many planes flying over Rosneigr, having never been before I was not aware how loud these could be, and how frequent. However the closeness to the beach, the lovely shops and cafes and the whole feel of the place is just so lovely it is worth it and if you like planes you are in for a treat!
I would absolutely recommend Dwylan to anyone and also Anglesey Holiday Lettings, the welcome pack was very much appreciated as we had no chance to get milk prior to arriving and didn’t realise the local shop shut at 9, so thought we couldn’t have a drink until we opened the box.

Our family (six of us with three generations) know Rhosneigr well, and have rented a number of AHL properties over the years, but this is the first time we have stayed at Dwylan.
In summary, we appreciated everything about this house. The property itself is spacious, comfortable and has lots of different areas where family members can seek the sun or shade, or some peace and quiet, or just enjoy spending time together in the large kitchen/dining/lounge area. It is a really well-appointed property, equipped with a good range of high end appliances. There were inevitably one or two maintenance issues, of which we have informed AHL, but absolutely nothing to spoil our enjoyment.
The location is just perfect - just a few minutes from the beautiful Crigyll beach, where we walked and ran our two dogs for ages every morning. The beach was so quiet, and the few people and dogs that we met were all really friendly. And Dwylan is only a couple of minutes from the heart of Rhosneigr, with its shops, eateries and takeaways.
In summary, we loved the house, had a fabulous holiday...and have booked Dwylan for next year!

A great holiday making great memories for all the family.

Myself, my partner, 4 kids and mother in law stayed at the property for a week. The house was lovely and in a great location for the shops. The bedrooms were perfect and having two lounges meant the kids could have their own tv.

A few downsides to the property, no balcony door or garage key was provided so the kids could easily access these which was not ideal.

The front door to the property is a twist lock which when having kids in the property was not good as our 3 year old could easily turn it and just let himself out. This did happen a few times.

The Roku in the kids lounge did not work, we luckily brought our Xbox and we did notice one in the cupboard on arrival but were unsure if we could of used it as no instructions to say so.

The dressing table in the main bedroom was not screwed tight enough and this came loose when my partner moved it.

Overall we did have an amazing stay and I certainly would return but I do feel the above needs to be looked into especially for family’s staying at the property with young children

Thank you for taking the time to leave such detailed feedback following your stay. We are delighted to hear that you and your family enjoyed the property, particularly its location, and the benefit of having two lounge areas for everyone to relax in. It great to know that you had an amazing stay overall and would consider returning in the future. We also appreciate you bringing the points you raised to our attention. We understand your concerns regarding the accessibility of the balcony and garage areas, as well as the front door locking mechanism when staying with young children. The turn-lock system fitted to the front door is a standard type of lock used in many holiday properties and residential homes. Unfortunately, we are unable to make alterations to this locking system, and we would always recommend that parents and guardians supervise young children around entrances and exits during their stay. We are sorry to hear that the Roku device was not working but we been made aware at the time, we would have been happy to investigate this for you. We will ensure it is checked prior to the next arrival. We will also ask our Maintenance Team to inspect the dressing table in the main bedroom following your comments. Thank you once again for your constructive feedback. Comments such as yours are invaluable in helping us improve the experience for future guests, particularly families with young children. We are pleased that these issues did not detract too much from your holiday and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you and your family back again in the future.

Dwylan is a brilliant house that worked well for our family. Good space with areas for a bit of quiet time too. Fantastic location being so close to the centre of the village, and a nice space to sit on the balcony in the sunshine. Garden decent size and being enclosed was great for our dog. Minor points to note would be the downstairs bed was a little uncomfortable and there’s not an awful lot of kitchen drawer items, enough but limited. Nothing that impacted our time too much though!

Thank you so much for your lovely review. We're delighted to hear that Dwylan worked so well for your family and that you enjoyed the spacious layout, the fantastic location, the sunny balcony and the enclosed garden for your dog. We also appreciate you taking the time to mention the areas where you felt there was room for improvement. Mattresses can be very much a matter of personal preference, but following your feedback the owner has now upgraded all of the mattresses throughout the property. They have also added even more kitchen equipment to make the kitchen even better equipped for future guests. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back to Anglesey again soon.

Plenty of space. We will be coming again to this excellent house.
The only concern was that several of the door latches do not catch and keeping dogs out of rooms was difficult.

Thank you for your kind review. We’re so pleased to hear you found the house spacious and excellent, and that you’re planning to return. We really appreciate you highlighting the issue with the door latches as well. We’re sorry this made it difficult to keep your dogs out of certain rooms during your stay. We have had a wonderful weekend spending time in this lovely property. Very spacious, beautiful décor, loved the open plan of the living area/kitchen.
We would definitely recommend to other large families/groups. Practically on top of the gorgeous village and minutes from the gorgeous beach.

We had a great week and really enjoyed the accommodation particularly the setting. The outside space was quite limited and dirty on arrival (we had to clean it) but the kids made the most of it and being so close to the beach and with a nice 1st floor balcony it didn’t really matter. Access to board games and a big communal open kitchen/lounge was fantastic. A boiling hot tap for tea and coffee was well used by us and a great addition.
Overall it was really good but probably frustratingly it could have been absolutely great with some very easy wins.
The grill on the barbecue was so rusty it was unusable and the front door frame was cracked at the bottom. Two rooms had no wardrobe space at all and nowhere to really hang anything and the mattresses were very uncomfortable in the double and twin room. It was just a few bits and bobs like this that let it down a bit.
Position wise it was probably the best location you can ask for. Within 100 yards we had beach road with shops, takeaways and coffee shops. The beach is 200 yards and you can easily walk to the Oyster Catcher too.
We had a really good week but just a few suggestions for improvements.

Thank you for your thoughtful and detailed review. We're delighted to hear you had a great week and enjoyed the fantastic location, the spacious open-plan living area, the balcony and being just a short stroll from both the beach and the village amenities. It's great to know the boiling water tap and family-friendly layout were such a hit too. We also really appreciate you taking the time to highlight areas where you felt improvements could be made. Since your stay, the owner has replaced all of the mattresses throughout the property, opened up the additional private storage and wardrobe space for guests, and is also arranging for a new front door to be fitted. We have also addressed the barbecue so that it is ready for guests to enjoy. Thank you again for your constructive feedback. We genuinely value comments like yours, as they help us and our owners continue to improve what is already a wonderful holiday home. We hope we'll have the opportunity to welcome you back to Dwylan in the future.

We stayed in Dwylan for 5 nights June 2025. Family of 6, including 2 elderly parents and 2 dogs. House was perfect for us, downstairs bedroom and bathroom ideal for the parents. Safe and enclosed back garden good for the dogs. House is 30 seconds fromthe village centre and 3 minutes to the beach. Very very clean and all facilities provided for. We have rebooked for September.

Wonderful spacious property. Very well equipped with quality furnishings and utensils. Well positioned in heart of village just 5 minutes walk from beach. Close to shops, bars, restaurants cafes etc.
We particularly enjoyed the balcony at front of the house which is a real sun trap, ideal for topping up your tan.
We loved this property and highly recommend and will certainly return.
