Welcome to The Wave, Room 15. Perfect for four with peeks of the sea, two doubles that's pet friendly, and slap bang in the heart of Rhosneigr village.

Ok, but not great

This was not a bad stay, but there are a few things that were not great. First, this property is advertised as having EV charger. It doesn't, the EV charger in the car park doesn't work, and from the state of it it's quite clear it hasn't worked for a long time. The company must know about it not being functional but a week before when I asked about it they didn't tell me it's not operational, so that's not great. They should have said it doesn't work. There is only one other EV chargers location in the village by the public library, but in the 4 days that we stayed there, this was never available, always full. As a result we had to drive around other villages to find a place to charge. Completely losing the point of booking a place with an EV charger.
Secondly, the apartment has very low ceiling beams which are not marked in any way, just white, so anyone over 5,6ft will be hitting their head on these constantly. It's really a bit dangerous and they should be painted a different colour so you can see them, right now they just blend in and are hard to see.
Lastly, we had to go find a shop and buy toilet paper, as the place came with just one tiny roll. That's not great for a place that sleeps 4 for 4 days. Overall, not a terrible stay, but could really be better. The company needs to take better care of some basic things.

This is a new apartment in a great location- you can see the sea from pretty much every window. It's only a small apartment but it suited 3 of us and a dog. It was very clean and staff there were polite and friendly.
The decor was good, the beds were comfy.
I wouldn't recommend for tall people as it's a roof top apartment with sloping ceilings - my husband bumped his head a lot.
The biggest thing to note is that, whilst it's well-equipped, the kitchen does not have an oven or a hob and this is not clear on the booking. There's a microwave and a small airfryer. As a result of this, it's a great place for a weekend break but definitely not for a longer holiday

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the apartment's location, sea views, and that you found it to be comfortable and well presented. It is also lovely to know that our team made you feel welcome during your stay. Thank you also for your constructive feedback regarding the kitchen facilities. As the property is an aparthotel, it has been designed to provide compact self-catering facilities rather than a full kitchen. We do mention within the property description that there is no oven or hob, and that the apartment is equipped with a microwave and air fryer instead. However, we appreciate your comments and understand that this may need to be made clearer when making a booking. We are grateful for your feedback and will take it into consideration when reviewing the property information to ensure it is as clear as possible for future guests. Thank you once again for your comments, and we hope to welcome you back to Anglesey in the future.

Had an excellent stay at The Wave over a scorching bank holiday weekend. We are a family of four - a couple with two kids under 10 yrs old.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and quiet with good amenities in an excellent location for a great price. It was lovely to see the sea from the windows. It’s in a great location - a pleasant 5 min stroll to the beach one way, where we loved swimming and playing in the dunes, and into Rhosneigr centre the other - for nipping out for morning coffees, afternoon ice creams and evening fish and chips, and to enjoy the lovely local shops and eateries.

In the apartment, the beds were comfy and the bedrooms felt light and airy. The kitchenette was well equipped and perfect for having breakfast, making packed lunches, and preparing simple snacks and heat-and-eat meals. The shower was hot and had decent power. The sofa area was comfortable and we were all pleased to find a Smart TV so everyone could enjoy some down time with their favourite shows - and decent wifi too. It was spacious enough that we never felt on top of each other and heading up the stairs to home felt like sneaking to our very own secret annexe.

The weekend we stayed was very hot, but we were ok with curtains down and windows open. A couple of fans for such hot weather would be a bonus, as would black out curtains for the bedroom. But other than those small things, I couldn’t fault the place and we all had such an enjoyable stay.

I will definitely book The Wave again.
