Our 3rd visit to this property. Great bungalow in a perfect location. A few minutes walk to year round dog friendly beach. This is the second time that we have spend a week in Chelford. The garden was enclosed and great for our 21/2 year old granddaughter. We loved sitting in the large conservatory for meals in the sunshine and also during the evening to play games. Parking is great and the location is fantastic - just a short stroll down to the beach - we preferred the quieter beach. The beds were comfy although one of the bedrooms is a bit too ‘snug’ for 2 adults. Would definitely return.

We had a lovely long weekend away but did have some issues with the heating. Although they did send someone out on the Saturday, the heating wasn’t checked before us arriving which meant my 20 month old was in a room with no heating. The radiator in the twin room had a broken thermostat (confirmed by the engineer) meaning the temperature of the room only got to 15 degrees in the night.

During our first night as we weren’t sure on what the issue was, we placed the portable thermostat in the room which caused the remainder of the house to be unbearably hot to compensate for the heat loss.

The radiator in the walk in bathroom was also dangerously hot. The engineer on arrival said there was a fault in the system and that this particular radiator had been leaking. He said he had turned the radiator off on the Saturday but it was still giving off heat throughout our stay. When he left it looked like the whole radiator had burst over the whole bathroom as all the floor was soaking wet.

The engineer was great to be fair and we have no complaints about him or how fast he came out. More so that the heating system should have been checked properly as part of the inspections, especially when we’re paying over £500 for the stay. The rest of the house was lovely and we thought the gardens and location were exceptional.

Chelford is just what was needed. 3 beds, 2 bathrooms. Great for families. It lovely and warm, even had a real fire. Condition was great, AHL was great. The enclosed garden was safe, well maintained and great for kids and dogs to run around. 5 stars

Excellent holiday despite the storm and gales. Anglesey Holiday Lettings were very pro active when the gale force winds loosed the TV aerial and some of the verge copings and came to deal immediately.

Had little hot water contacted and they came out quickly but could not fix so said someone less would come and we would be contacted later that day. No one came and no call we stayed in the area as had dogs. We called again next day send issue fixed

Lovely bungalow. Gorgeous enclosed garden, safe for dogs. Conservatory adds space and comfort. Very useful extra fridge as the one in the kitchen is small. The bedrooms were quite small. The water was plenty hot enough for a shower, but for some reason the bath only ran luke warm. There’s a washing machine and clothesline but no clothes pegs anywhere, I had to hang our swimming costumes out using some safety pins I had brought. Great position, very convenient for both the beach and the village.

The house was ideal for 3 generations, both the dogs and the granddaughter loved the garden. We had very mixed weather so we spent quite a lot of time in the house. It would have been helpful to have more cleaning supplies. The beds were very comfortable and the linen and towels were lovely. The location was great for access to the beach and not too far for our 2 year old granddaughter to walk.

This is the second time we have stayed here and again we weren’t disappointed. The bungalow is very clean and great location. Parking is amazing. The only improvements I could suggest would be, earlier check in time. TV in bedroom and pegs for the washing line. This is one of the best places we have stayed hence our second visit.

Six of us and two dogs stayed in July. We had a lovely week, the bungalow was perfect for us. We particularly liked the open plan kitchen/lounge and the fab garden. The location was perfect - an easy 5/10 min walk to both beaches and the bars & shops in the village!
The service from Anglesey Holiday lettings was excellent as usual and we hope to book Chelford again next year....

Perfect for elderly mum and aunt with very comfy beds and a good shower room. Plenty of room for the four of us with 2 dogs and the garden was ideal for them. Very well equipped kitchen and the extra fridge freezer in the utility came in handy so we were able to do a supermarket shop for the week. One small negative the pebble path was difficult to walk on for for the unsteady but mum managed with a bit of help. Overall we had a lovely holiday and good weather too. Would love to return.

good location 5 minutes to beach or to shops and restaurants.
the week was very warm so we took advantage of parts of the garden which deliberately provided shade.
Excellent kitchen, bathroom, wet room and a great conservatory.
I would probably be happy to return like many of your guests.
There were minor negatives. I did not expect the garden to back onto a busy road where we live traffic is very light.
Two bedrooms were small.
These were not enough to detract from the positives.

We found that Chelford exceeded the description online. The accommodation was amazing with the most comfortable beds we’ve ever had on holiday. The conservatory with the bi-fold doors to the garden was a joy to sit in at any time of the day. We were very fortunate with the weather so the outside shower was used after going on the beach. The welcome pack was appreciated by all of us, including our dogs! Thank you.

We have stayed in Rhosneigr many times in different houses as it's one of our favourite places. Chelford is one of the best we've stayed in. It's absolutely lovely. The open plan kitchen/living area is great. The conservatory is so nice. The garden is gorgeous.
Chelford is in a fantastic location. It's only about 5 minutes walk to the Oystercatcher and the same to the High street.
We had a fabulous 3 days here.

The place was amazing !! Very well heated although it was mild for the end of Jan.
Great big garden which would be brilliant in the summer.
Maybe just another gate down the side of the property out of the kitchen to the left to keep the dog from going to the loo in the garden maybe a good idea ?

We stayed here for 3 nights ( 16th - 19th December) I picked this particular property as there were 6 adults and a dog - 3 proper bedrooms ( 1 being a twin) and 2 bathrooms.
The property was so lovely and warm even the huge conservatory - i was concerned that as it was all open plan the conservatory would make the house cold it couldn’t have been further from the truth.
It was warm enough to sit in at night and first thing in the morning.
The garden is beautiful and dog friendly ( I found I small gap to the neighbours garden but just put one of the garden chair across the gap.
The location is great, 5 minute walk to The Oystercatcher ( bring a torch its the darkest road at night) and same to the local pubs in the other direction.
There is a great Indian takeaway in the closest of the 2 local pubs ( honestly its really good I had 2 in 3 nights!) and a pizza takeaway in the centre which I was assured was also good.
The kitchen is good for cooking ( absolutely rubbish frying pan especially if you want to fry eggs!) and the appliances look brand new,
It’s lovely that there is a breakfast bar and also a opening to the conservatory from the kitchen so you can still carry on conversations.
The bathrooms are spotless and very modern.
Bedrooms a little compact but it really didn’t bother us.
There is a log fire ( no logs supplied ).
The only niggle I had was it would have been lovely to have a bit of Christmas spirit in the house - first cottage I have stayed in in December that didn’t even have a bit of tinsel. I know its not everyone’s taste but we all felt it would have been nice.
There is parking for at least 3 cars.
All in all fantastic - in fact it has completely changed my view of bungalows.

We love Rhosneigr, it was nice to be back after missing 2 years.
First time in Chelford very nice property and great location. Only issue ( and I was alone in this ) it was very warm in the property.
The conservatory is very nice , and Wilson our whippet loved the garden.

Our third visit to Chelford and we wouldn't stay anywhere else. A really beautifu and comfortable bungalow in a prime position for the beach and shops..
A lovely welcome basket was provided and thoughtfully filled with nice goodies for us and even treats for the dog.
The bungalow was warm with the temperature just right to come home to, after some windy walks on the beach with the dogs..
Lovely comfy beds with good quality bedding and towels. The management team do an excellent job of maintaining this property.

We stayed at the property with some family and our 2 dogs. The property is in a great location and has a secure dog friendly garden. The conservatory was fantastic for evening meals with the bifold doors open.

Would highly recommend and we will be booking for next summer.

My wife and I stayed here last week, with our elder daughter and cockapoo. We were also joined for a couple of nights by our two grandsons (16 and 12) and their own cockapoo.
We all loved everything about 'Chelford'. It has everything you could want for a family break - quiet, comfortable, spacious and very well-appointed, with a lovely, sheltered and secure rear garden.
In addition, the very short walks to either the beach (Traeth Llydan) or the shops really suited us. We know the island pretty well, so we weren't looking to explore it, but rather wanted a relaxing break. This bungalow was ideal for that. We had lots of lovely long walks on the beach with the dogs and made good use of the takeaways in the village - Aydin's and Scarlett's were both excellent. We also finished with a superb meal at Sandy Mount House.
We left feeling happy and refreshed and would not hesitate to return to 'Chelford' nor recommend it wholeheartedly to others.

Immaculate! Great location. Superb bungalow. Everything you could think of was there. We have stayed in lots of cottages in England and Wales but this was definitely the best we’ve stayed in. 5 minute walk to the beach and shops/pub/cafes. Great driveway with gates. Short walk to the Oyster catcher restaurant/bar. Massive thank you to the owners of this cottage for providing a great place to stay.

Good stay , only thing i have to say is it needed more cups etc in the kitchen, and more trays in the oven apart from that , its great.

A wonderful location and a well kept property. Very comfortable. Would stay again if the price had remained or had been a bit more than inflation However the price hike for 2023 is huge for the same week and puts it into a price bracket comparable with better places to stay.

This was a lovely house. Clean,fresh and comfortable with everything we need for our stay.Lovely enclosed garden for the dogs to run around. No need to use the car at all during our stay as it was a pleasant walk to beaches and restaurants.

What can I say except Chelford was beyond our expectations in terms of location, proximity to excellent restaurants & fantastic beaches. The property was spacious & comfortable for us as a couple, although could possibly be tight for 6 people. The enclosed garden was perfect for the dog & for us to relax in the unexpectedly beautiful weather for March. Will definitely be rebooking for Autumn.

Chelford was a perfect choice for us with two dogs, the garden was enclosed and spacious. We loved the conservatory which opened fully in good weather. The house was well equipped, comfortable and clean. The location was ideal, close to shops, restaurants and the beautiful Broad beach.

Extended family stayed in Chelford. Lovely house with all you need and comfortable. Chelford is a fantastic property and is furnished to a very high standard and very well equipped. We felt very at home here! We are regular visitors to Rhosneigr and this property is ideally situated for access to Broad Beach and the village amenIties. The only negative is the lack of BBQ especially with the COVID situation and some of the restaurants having to close at short notice.

Just returned from our second stay in the Chelford Rhosneigr. Although Covid has meant that it was a different experience this time we felt confident in the standard of cleaning and the measures taken to reduce risk. The accommodation is well maintained and managed. The quality and quantity of kitchen equipment deserves special mention. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at no 2 Chelford. The house was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. It was lovely to sit in the conservatory having our breakfast. Plenty of space to have a meal or just relax with a drink. Good parking facilities. (A tumble dryer would be a great addition, however, on booking this property again, must remember to bring some pegs for the washing line).

We really enjoyed our stay at Chelford in Rhosneigr.
The bungalow was lovely, well set up and the conservatory a haven in the evening! The garden was a safe & secure place for our fury little one too!

Chelford ticks every box for a fantastic family holiday in Rhosneigr. Great location, just a short walk to village centre and two beaches. Spacious, open-plan layout with a gorgeous conservatory for dining and spotting planes from RAF Valley! Bedrooms and bathrooms in a separate 'wing'. Good utility room with additional fridge/freezer. Large, enclosed garden with nice seating area. Perfect for extended families and dog owners.

As you open the door to this gorgeous place the lovely feeling of perfection is there. The decor is beautiful accompanied by the high quality soft furnishings. The position is perfect, beach just around the corner and the shops an equal short walk away. The dogs equally were in seventh heaven in the garden and on the beach. We loved this place so much we are booking for next year again

What can I say, what a fantastically located property. Its within 2mins walk to the local beach and 5mins to the main beach and shops. Fantastic places to eat (even outside during covid). The property was excellent for the family and the dog. Loved the garden and the little touches within the house. A couple of aspects would have made it a little better (a tumble dryer and better Wifi)..

but that is not cause us major issues, we had a fantastic week, and loved every second in the house, the local area and beyond. Went on the fastest zipline in the world; walked Snowdon etc.. all within 30mins drive !!!!

Will be back !

We arrived out in the middle of Storm Dennis to find a warm and cosy house! Beautifully clean and very spacious for our five and four year old, 12 week old baby (her first of many Rhosneigr trips) along with our four legged baby!
The location is perfect for us with a short walk to our favourite beach and a similar distance into town.
The only downside was that we couldn't get the bath to run really hot, the showers we're fine though.
Second visit using Rhosneigr holiday lettings and will definitely be back for a third later in the year.

We spent a very enjoyable week in the Chelford property in Rhosneigr. The bungalow is in an excellent location and has a secure back garden for four legged visitors. The open plan layout is ideal for a holiday property with the additional benefit of a spacious conservatory.

This is our first time using Rhosneigr Holiday Lettings but they have been very good to deal with as I had to change the initial booking due to an unforeseen issue getting time off work - this was handled very efficiently and there was no admin fee charged. I would definitely recommend using them and would definitely stay in this property again (subject to availablity!!).

This is our 5th stay with Rhosneigr Holiday Lettings. All of the houses have been fabulous, but this was our favourite. Lots of room for all of the family, fantastic conservatory and garden (dog friendly and enclosed), high quality fixtures and fittings. Completely peaceful and quiet and minutes to the Oyster Catcher or the main village. Looking forward to staying again next year!

Had a fabulous stay at this lovely property. In a perfect location within a few minutes walking distance of the beaches, shops and pubs/ restaurants...everything is on your doorstep. You could quite easily manage without a car at this property if you had a shopping delivery at the start of your stay. Well equipped and the beds are also very comfortable. We have always previously stayed in Treardurr And Rhoscolyn but i think Rhosneigr is my new favourite place in Anglesey! Would definitely stay at Chelford again.

The holiday cottage was exactly as the pictures show, the cleaning staff do an excellent job. The location is wonderful and the customer service is second to none. As I am disabled I have to use a mobility scooter to get around outside, when I asked to borrow an extension lead to help charge the scooter up one was brought round the same day (thank you). We had a wonderful time and would love to go back again.

Chelford is a beautiful house providing everything we needed for a wonderful holiday stay with our dogs. It is ideally situated for access to the town, beach and lake. The care and attention to detail which has gone into the maintenance of the house is immediately apparent. The house facilities are excellent and the garden room a gem. The garden itself provided plenty of space for the dogs to run around while we sat and enjoyed an evening drink before supper. In fact we were blessed with the weather and were able to spend more time in the sunny garden than the house.

We had a great stay at the Chelford property in Rhosneigr. A group of 4 adults and a 2 year old and there was plenty of room for all of us. The property was very clean and seemed recently renovated. The conservatory dining/lounge area was ideal along with the large garden area. Location to Rhosneigr is perfect, 5 minutes walk to the local amenities and beach and a good position to discovery different parts of Anglesey. We would certainly return and wouldn't hesitate recommending to friends and family.
Dealing with Rhosneigr Holiday Lettings was seamless and although we did not require anything assistance from them during our stay I saw a number of their vans in and around Rhosneigr so I am sure they would have been available.

I booked this property for my family. This included myself , my husband, my elder daughter and her husband who is Australian and my younger daughter and our dog. It was and ideal property for us all . It was beautifully decorated and very clean
We had plenty of room to chill and walking distance to the beach and local shops and restaurants .

Spent a week at Chelford celebrating with family a milestone birthday. Beautiful home lovely that we could take our dogs too. The house did not smell of dig which was great despite having dogs ourselves so we could tell the cleanliness was too motch. Chelford at Rhosneigr was very central for exploring the lovely island if you wanted too or you could chill in the secure garden or walk the 2 mins to the fantastic beach nearby. Everything was so handy.
We found from ibyial enquiries to the actual booking was a breeze and the fact that management live at Rhosneigr they even offered face to face introduction to the Island however as the information leaflet was so clear and precise we felt we had it covered.Tge welcome pack was a nice touch and kavung towels provided is a help in minimising packing especially with a grandson in tow..
We all loved it and will be back next year and again will use the same company.

We have stayed in many properties in Rhosneigr all were good , but Chelford is in another league immaculate and beautifully presented so well equiped great location I cannot fault this property and booked for October , thanks to owner for doing such a Fab job.

Lovely modern property only 5 minutes walk to nearest beach. The bungalow had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the back garden was totally dog proof and a decent size for our two dogs (Labrador and a Doberman).
Would stay here again.

Had a lovely weekend with family. The accommodation is excellent. All very clean. The property is just across the road from the beach. Although no sea view. From the back garden you can see the mountains and Maelog.

Fantastic property, everything it needed. Good position. Central for visiting beautiful beaches, long coastal walks. Good places to eat. Love the Sandy Mount House & White Eagle. Would definitely stay in property again.
