We’ve stayed at Cwalafila a number of times & highly recommend it. It’s immaculate every time we go, it’s spacious & the beds extremely comfy. The kitchen is well equipped & spacious. The sitting room light & airy with views of the sea.
Will definitely be back next year.

We had a lovely week in this roomy comfortable house. The view is so good and it didn’t matter what the weather was like there was always someone out on the water. Perfect place for a good sunset. The kitchen is well stocked and we appreciated the treats that were there on arrival.

An upside down house right in the centre of the village but also hidden from view. We have stayed in Rhosneigr many times and walked past Cwalafila without even noticing. The weather was fabulous for us and we spent many hours either on the balcony or looking at the amazing views from the lounge. The kitchen has everything you need and the welcome pack with welsh goodies was a lovely surprise. There were only two of us staying so we had a choice of three great showers! While not overly modern, its a lovely house in a great location for a reasonable price.



Loved this house and have booked it again already!

Very good stay here - great location and well equipped house. feels spacious and everything worked . Just a couple of things would make it perfect. The double bedroom that faces the street has no blind on the window - but it really does need one for privacy . Venetian type would be best for privacy from passing folk just metres away - yet would let the light in. Having to keep the curtains drawn during the day made this room feel gloomy. The three other bedrooms had blinds............... Alarming to open the curtains and make direct eye contact with a guy having his lunch on the bench across the road!!

Fantastic view from the lounge but the huge window bore the swipe marks of who ever last "cleaned" the glass - this window should sparkle given the great view. All the windows had swipe marks - house clean otherwise.

The sunset in the lounge can be blinding, so a pull down roller blind would be great - to block out the sun but to allow the view to still be enjoyed without having to wear sunglasses indoors!

Loved all the greenery that surrounds the house.

We suggest someone check out the house for wasp infestation...... we had quite a few buzz in and they did seem to be building up somewhere in/around the property.

We are looking forward to staying there again . Thanks .

The upside down house was very spacious. Especially kitchen diner and the living room. We loved the entrance concervatory very good for coats and shoes. Plenty of parking. Superb position everything on the doorstep. There was only two of us so had a good choice of 3 bathrooms. We found the bed very comfy in the larger bedroom. All in all very pleasant stay. Will be coming again for sure.

This house is in a brilliant location. It's a big house, plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and also get together.
The kitchen was a good size with a fabulous roof balcony with table and chairs abd great Seaview.
We couldn't of asked for better, it's the best house we've stayed in especially for our 3 teenagers!

Beautiful property in our favourite location. Everything we needed for our sibling week on Ynys Mon. Property is very well equipped and provides the perfect setting to switch off and relax. Highly recommend and will definitely book Cwalafila again.
Issue with one of the mattresses but this was rectified very quickly. Only negative is the failure over time of previous guests to clean the BBQ after use. This was unfit for use and unfortunately the replacement didn’t arrive before our visit ended but hopefully this is now sorted for future guests to use (& clean up after themselves). I do feel Anglesey Holiday Lettings should inspect the BBQ when preparing property for next guests and if they have to clean it, the previous occupants should be charged.

Lovely property in an excellent location with the bonus of free golf at Anglesey golf club. Pubs, restaurants, amenities and beaches all within a couple of minutes walk. Accommodates 6 adults comfortably with a sea view from the lounge window.

Cwalafila is a fabulous holiday home in an excellent position. It is very well furnished and has everything you need for your holiday. However, it was rather noisy over the bank holiday weekend as it is directly opposite a bar which had live music on. It wasn’t a problem for us as we didn’t have young children with us.
We don’t want to appear picky but It would also have been helpful if there were some simple instructions on how to use the oven and washing machine.
We had a lovely week’s holiday and I would definitely recommend this house to our friends.

We had lovely stay at Cwalafila again, the weather was very good. The accommodation is situated in a great place for the beach and central to Rhosneigr.
The house was very clean and tidy upon arrival and has everything you need for your stay. There is a nice cafe/bar opposite the house.
We did try the bbq, but it has a lot of previous fat etc on the griddle even though I did try to clean it before use, it was just a mass of flames so not useable and only half of it worked, also I had to re-attach the gas connection pipe which was barely attached and has no jubilee clip on etc, which is a little bit dangerous.
I think the bbq needs replacing.
Other than the above everything was very good.

We arrived at the house and were really pleased with the location, so close to the beach and local shops.
Our family, 5 adults, a 7 and 4 Yr old were really pleased will the layout, 4 downstairs bedrooms, 2 king, 1 double and children's room with good quality bunks and even books and small toys for them plus a full bathroom and shower room.
Upstairs we found a lovely lounge with large windows and a little balcony plus a Christmas tree , another shower room with toilet and a big kitchen with dining table to seat us all, every possible kitchen utensil you will need, plus breakfast bar TV and sofa. We even cooked a full Christmas lunch on New year's day.
We walked on the beach, just a 2 minute walk, flew a kite, played games in the lounge and only went out in the car once during our 4 night stay. We all agreed we would go back tomorrow!!! plus great service from Anglesey Holiday Lettings.

Lovely property. A little dated in some areas and less than clean-line in others. Warm and comfortable, though, with a sea view from one large window in the lounge which was great. The description claimed that the WiFi was dependable. However, it wasn’t in the slightest. There were occasional short periods (usually during the early evening) when the download speed was 18/20 Mbps, but at all other times there was no bandwidth available at all. The internal WiFi connection was stable. So, definitely the internet connection. We had to resort to 5G 95% of the time.

Well equipped modern house. Large kitchen diner & comfortable sitting room, and four bedrooms. The roof terrace had table & chairs for sitting out and enjoying the sun.

Location was excellent, just a couple of minutes walk to the beach, chip shop, corner shop, and local cafes. Off street parking was a definite advantage, as Rhosneigr parking can be a challenge.

Beautiful house with plenty of space. Fabulous having the upstairs lounge and kitchen with the sea view. So close to the beach, just a walk round the corner, so the cars stayed on the drive most of the week. The beach was so lovely and not overcrowded.
We did have a couple of small problems with the property, eg no gas for bbq. However in no way did any of them spoil our holiday.
Would certainly recommend and we would consider going again.
First time we have stayed on Anglesey and we certainly chose well .

We had a lovely family holiday. Cwalafila was a great base for all the family to meet, celebrate and be together. Wonderful entertaining space with two balconies and a great view of the beach.

The photos are true to likeness and the communication Is good. Have used Anglesey Lettings for a number of years now and am always confident in the service and the good quality of accommodation.

Lovely property in a great location with a view of the sea from the sitting room. Great roof terrace off the kitchen with bbq. Plenty of space. Ample off road parking. Starvation bar just across the road does really nice cocktails. Had excellent meals both at Sandy Mount (right next door) and the Oyster Catcher. The pizza place, the chippy and the surf cafe all serve really nice food. You get a free round of golf at Anglesey golf club if you want it as well, which was great as it’s right next to the airfield and you can watch the jets. Really enjoyed the stay, will definitely be back.

Just had a wonderful holiday staying at Cwalafila with our grandchildren. The house is in a perfect location in the village and only two minutes to the beach. Everything we needed was to hand in the house and it catered for children. Loved the fabulous sunset views from the lounge and balcony. We will definitely go back.

We had a great stay a Cwalafila. Bedrooms are a great size. Love the upside down layout which enables you to see the beautiful beach. Great decking area which we used every day as the weather was superb. Only 2 niggles. 1st one that the lights kept tripping in the downstairs shower room (Happened 4 times in a week) Was sorted by the maintenance people within a few hours of it reporting. 2nd one is that SKY TV is advertised but it’s just an old box with no subscriptions to any channels and the DVD player was broke. Luckily the weather was that good we didn’t need either but the listing should be updated. Neither of those would stop us from booking Cwalafila again.

There was a little confusion when we arrived but was sorted out immediately and did not cause any problems at all.
We have stayed at this house previously and love the fabulous lounge that has a stunning view of the sea. There is a large outside, useful for summer but weather was against us in February, and a small balcony of the lounge to enjoy a summer sunset and sea views. There was everything you need to make meals. Which we had to as most places to eat were shut as well as the only shop, but that was due to open when we were leaving. Beautiful walks , against the strong winds, along the beach. Lovely coffees, cakes , sandwiches and more at the surf cafe. We throughly enjoyed our 3 night break and thanks to Kyle at Starvation for looking after us when we visited. We hope to stay again at some point. Think we have fallen in love with the place.

The location is excellent. Everyone we met in the village were very welcoming and the people at the golf club very warm and helpful. The golf course was interesting and challenging in places.

This is a first rate holiday let. Comfortable and spacious accommodation. Love the underfloor heating! Three great showers, so important after a day walking or on the beach. Location just a short stroll to the beach right in the heart of Rhosneigr. Off road parking a real advantage. We hope to re-book with friends as the dining kitchen is ideal for socialising. The view of the sea from the living room is mesmerizing!

We had a brilliant stay in Rhosneiger, it’s the second time we have booked with Rhosneiger holiday lets and the service is first class. When we had a problem I let them know and it was sorted the same day.
The accommodation was very clean with everything we needed for the holiday, perfect location in the village and less than 5mins to the beach which was great for a walk even on a blustery February day. 5* from us!

As a family we visit Anglesey every year and have done for many many years this is something that has been passed down through the years and we were definitely not disappointed by this short stay at Cwalafila a beautiful well appointed property with excellent sea views. The property is situated in the centre of Rhosneigr within easy walk to all amenities and has plenty of room for a family of eight to enjoy without feeling cramped. Highly recommend this property and will be looking a revisiting in the future when the weather is better so we can take advantage of all the area has to offer.

5 ladies, of a certain age, enjoyed our short break in this stunning house. 3 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms ( one bunk beds though- but we only needed the bottom bunk for everyone to get a bed). Lovely large sitting room and brilliant views. Unfortunately westger did not allow us to use the outdoor patio and furniture but that looked great. Plenty of parking-a big plus !
Also so very central for eateries and beach.
Food in Sullivans was great, also the coffee bar close by did good coffee and soup/sandwiches etc.
Would love to go again. Everything was perfect, apart from some of the weather, but the house made up for that.
Thanks for the tea, coffee, biscuits and milk a very nice touch.

This house is amazing, so much space and a fabulous view of the sea. There is practically everything you could need although we could have done with a cheese grater and a biscuit barrel. Enviable position so close to the beach and the lovely restaurants and bars. There is plenty of parking too. The house has been furnished reflecting its proximity to the sea and is a credit to whoever chose the furnishings. We had the same problem as another reviewer as in needing to wash some of the glasses and plates before using them and the large rug in the kitchen was quite dirty (we have emailed the letting team about the rug and they are going to get it cleaned) A really enjoyable and comfortable stay and we will definitely be returning to this property,

Cwalafila is a lovely house. It is comfortable, well equipped & ideally placed for local restaurants, shops and the beach. Special thanks to Jamie and the team who were very prompt in helping us in a difficult situation. Although the weather was poor (we were there for storm Hannah!) we all enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

We spent my birthday weekend in January here, 5 adults, a 3 year old and a 9 month old baby. The house was lovely, in a perfect location and had everything we needed.
My 3 year old grandson kept finding toys hidden away in the living room which was really exciting for him.
The views from the living room were lovely.
The beds were comfortable and there were bathrooms/shower rooms which was really handy for the family.
We'd love to visit in the summer and use the outdoor first floor terrace which was well equipped with furniture and a gas barbeque.
I'm glad I spotted the property and booked it.

The only complaint we had, was that on arrival although the house was prepared and clean,the glasses,cups and cutlery were not clean we had to wash everything before we used them, other than that we had a very enjoyable stay

The house was very well equipped and catered for all our needs and the welcome pack was a nice touch as it's not always provided in some holiday homes we have used.

The location was excellent with beach , pubs and restaurants all within easy reach.

We will definitely be back again!

A perfect long weekend away in Cawalafila. House was ideal for the six of us - mum and dad plus children and partners. Ample room, spacious and comfortable and ideally situated for local amenities including fabulous beach, great bars and restaurants. We’d definitely visit again.

Home from home holiday home!
Facilities were spot on I took a few kitchen bits I knew I would need for my BIG family meals but everything else was there! Really comfortable and superb location!!

What a fantastic house, location and amenities. The house was clean, warm and a real home from home. Would definitely recommend this place. The wet room was fantastic! Kitchen had everything we needed and lovely welcome pack on arrival. Lots of stuff for kids to do too with games and Wii.

We returned to Cwalafila for the same days in Feb half term as in 2017.
The condition of the property had not changed and good service as ever from Rhosneigr Holiday Lettings.
The location of the property is pretty unbeatable in the centre of the village and a stones throw to the beach.
A great layout for eating and relaxing - the kids love the "upside down" house.
The weather was the icing on the cake, cold but sunny days, and the most amazing sunsets each night on the Beach...perfect!

This house is in a great location for Rhosneigr Beach and short walk to Broad Beach.
It has all the things you need, and home comforts.
Plenty of space downstairs with the four bedrooms and two bathrooms, and the garage space for all the beach stuff.
The upstairs living space is lovely, with a fabulous view to the sea from the lounge.
The outside space was ideal too, and took advantage of the summer evening with the BBQ supplied.
All round lovely relaxing holiday.
A few little things looking used and tired, tap in upstairs bathroom, radiator peeling in downstairs toilet, and lock sticking on front door, none of these bothered us though.
We would go back to this house again, if it was further along the coast, too near to the RAF Jets, they were our daily wake up call from 8.00am!!

We had a very enjoyable week at Cwalafila. The house was very well set up for our group of 6 adults and 2 children and ideally located just a very short walk from the beach. Rhosneigr is a lovely little village with a couple of good mini markets, a chip shop, surf shops, and some great restaurants. We were very impressed with the Oystercatcher and Sandy's Bistro. As well as spending time on the beach we had a lovely walk around Lake Maelog, and visited Caernarfon castle much to the children's delight. We will definitely return to Rhosneigr again, and depending on the size of our party would use Cwalafila again or if a smaller number will have no hesitation in using Rhosneigr Lettings to find another property.

This property was immediately warm and welcoming during rather stormy weather!
With the inclement weather (Storm Doris) it was great to have somewhere to retire too that was comfortable, well equipped, warm, and a great place to watch the windsurfers braving the waves!

This is our second stay over the new year at a Rhosneigr Holiday Lettings property , and just like the 1st stay we were not disappointed .
Cwalafila is in a great position in the village and literally seconds from the beach. The house itself has everything you need for a great break and is well maintained.
The booking process is very easy and the communication between ourselves and Jaimie was excellent who is always very professional and polite.
We now look forward to booking and staying in another Rhosneigr holiday Lettings for new year 2017.

A spacious, well-appointed and comfortable house; couldn't fault it. Don't make the mistake we made in booking via Tripadvisor and having to pay their booking fee on top of the booking fee charged by Rhosneigr Holiday Lettings.

Stayed here for a week with our two sons and their families, which includes two toddlers. Jamie provided a safety gate and high chairs as well as the usual welcome pack of milk, welsh cakes and prosecco. Everything about the booking process is easy and Jamie calls round on arrival day to make sure everything is in order. The house is large, well presented and spotlessly clean. It has all you need for a good holiday from kitchen equipment to games and wifi. It's location on the High Street could not be better and the view from the large picture window is lovely. We spent several evenings enjoying the sun on the large terrace while we cooked on the gas barbie. Can't fault Cwalafila or Rhosneigr Holiday Lettings.
