We stayed at Hafan in April and again October. Lovely as usual and the new conservatory was a fantastic addition. Hafan has taken a bit of a battering over the since our visit in April and now needs a refresh. Carpets need a good clean and the James vacuum is very tired!!
The property is lovely and warm, also handy for the beach. We have tried to book for 2025 but it is already fully booked so it is a testament as to how nice the property is.

6 of us stayed here very comfortably . It was clean, spacious & very well kitted out with everything you need & the view & sound of the sea was very relaxing. We struggled using the induction hob but after multiple readings of the manual, we finally sorted it The beds & bed linen are of a very high quality & the overall decor felt classy & luxurious. The only slight downside was that 2 couches in the living room could probably do with a refresh & refill of some of the cushions, but we really loved our stay & everything in Rhosneigr village is only a 2minute walk away. We will definitely book here again!

This was our first time at Hafan and it won't be our last. Work was being done on the outside which over ran however, this did not prevent us from relaxing and enjoying the property. We were kept up to date by Angelsey Lettings. We received a bottle of wine from the owners due to the work being carried out. Everything inside and outside the property was amazing. Loved watching the sea from the back garden. Highly recommended.

Hafan is a beautiful cottage (bungalow). Modern interior, lovely and warm for Windy Rhossy days. It was a treat to stay there. One of the sofas looked at the view - which was prefect as I could see the guys enjoying their windsurfing. The kitchen was well equipped and the two bathrooms for 6 of us is spot on. Quiet location and easy to walk the dogs to the beach or onto their favourite grassy lawn at the top of the road. This cottage is special and we really enjoyed our stay (second stay).

Hafan is in the perfect location to watch the sea in any weather with views from the front window and the conservatory at the back of the bungalow.
There has been a new kitchen fitted since we last stayed which is very lovely.

We had lovely meals at Mezze (tapas), Oyster Catcher (Sunday roast) and beautiful steaks at Mojos. As always the Passionfruit zombies on comfy sofas at Starvation were lovely.

Lots of lovely touches in the house that enable you to cook properly or just sit and watch the kite surfers in the bay.

This was the 2nd time we have stayed at the house. Sadly we do not plan to return. We felt that issues around maintenance had not been addressed. The garage door was broken, the patio doors are still awkward to open and shut. The front door lock is unreliable when using the key and the letter box flaps in the wind. There is a gap in the lounge window frame joint and you can feel a drought when sitting on the sofa.
When we first arrived and opened the door to the twin bedroom there was a strong smell of dog urine. We reported to Anglesey lettings and they offered to send someone out to clean it but by this time we had tried to clean it ourselves whilst awaiting a response but the first night of our stay we couldn’t sleep in that room. We extended the dining table and it was full of debris. As previous reviews state, the dining chairs are too large to enable movement around the dining table.
If these issues were addressed then we would definitely return. The location of the property is perfect for getting to the beach and to the village centre. The house is nicely decorated and furnished with plenty of cooking and dining equipment.

The issues that you have very kindly raised with us have now been dealt with by the owners as part of their scheduled refurbishment plan. Hafan has seen major investment over the last few months with new windows, doors, garage door, replacement garden room and a new modern kitchen. It really is a completely transformed property and it would be great to see you return.

As a family of 3 generations we love Anglesey and Rhosneiger is ideal for water sports beautiful beaches and a lovely little village. We like Hafan for its location close to the beach ideal for walking the dog and watching sunsets.

We had a fantastic week at Hafan it was all that we wished for, The accommodation perfectly suited our family, 4 adults and 2 children aged 7&6. The children's room is small but they only used it for sleeping so that was fine, the living room and outside are plenty big enough. If you have children over 10 they may find this bedroom room a little cramped.
The kitchen had all that we needed to prepare and cook meals, it was lovely to sit in the conservatory to eat - with our sunglasses on some days (LOL) and also eating outside on the decking area enjoying the amazing view.
The close access to the beach is what makes Hafan extra special so easy to set up on the beach for the day and nip back if you need anything I have to say that the step to the beach isn't as much of a drop as one person has commented, we had no issue with it at all, but my husband and the grandchildren did have fun moving sand to reduce the drop.
We did have a slight issue with the lock on the front door but it was rectified within 3hours of us reporting it, so 10/10 to the maintenance team.
This was our 3rd holiday in Rhosneigr, our first staying at Hafan, we loved Hafan so much we booked for next year whilst we were still there!

I stayed in Hafen with my daughter and 7 year old Grandson. The bungalow is very close to all the restaurants and beach. This is ideal as I have mobility issues.
The house was very clean upon arrival and has all amenities that you will require.
The only issue I had was with the conservatory door. I followed the instructions on how to close it but it would not close. A call to Anglesey Holiday lettings and they came out to us within the hour. I did not open the door again and had to enter the back garden via the side of the house. Not ideal.
I will love to come back to Hafen.

Hafan is the most wonderful little gem in Rhosneigr, a stones throw from the beach, breath taking views and wonderfully comfortable. Possibly the most relaxing holiday ever. BBQs whilst having a glass of wine looking at the view at the rear of Hafan, long walks along the beach, strolls into the village only 150m away for a glass of wine or meal out. Amazing. Thank you Hafan.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hafan and would book again in future. Property was spotless and well appointed, kitchen was very well equipped and bed was comfy. The location just meters from the beach was ideal for us and we also enjoyed sitting out on the decking or in the lounge, relaxing and enjoying the view.
The one stop shop in Rhosneigr sells everything and is well priced. Our favourite place to eat is the Oystercatcher, local takeaways are also good. We didn’t have too much problem with the back door, took a couple of minutes to get the knack but then we were fine. There is no outside tap, which would have been useful for washing off sand but that’s the only improvement I can think of suggesting.

We chose this bungalow to take my elderly parents away for a short break. It's in a fabulous location where you can see the sea even if you can't walk to it and was spotlessly clean (as are all the properties we have stayed in with Anglesey Holiday lettings). The sofas are comfy but very low and if 6 people were staying, you wouldn't all be able to watch the TV as it's small and behind one of the sofas. There were lots of lovely throws and a fabulous view to the sea.
It would be really helpful if the property description was updated to state that there is a significant step down from the kitchen to the conservatory and then on and off the decks in the garden. The decks were a lovely surprise and we got a beautiful sunset whilst staying.
As mentioned in previous reviews the door out to the back garden is very difficult to open. My parents weren't able to do it and I had to have several goes (to open as a door rather than window as it did both) every time we needed to let the dogs out. My parents wouldn't stay here in future as they wouldn't be able to get out in an emergency, if the front door was inaccessible.

There were a couple of maintenance issues (leaky radiator and dodgy light switch) which were reported.

All in all, a lovely property in a great location surrounded by amazing restaurants & bars (you have to try the zombie in Starvation) but not quite suitable for my elderly parents. Ideal for families though, as it was so well equipped with plenty of space to spread out, no matter what the weather.

Great position (but be aware there is a nearly 3ft drop at the bottom of the steps going down to the beach at the end of the road, which made that beach access largely unusable)

House was wonderfully clean (really appreciated, thank you) and warm and there are absolutely amazing views from the back garden and the lounge window.... however the comfort issues really detracted from the overall stay.

The back door is extremely difficult to open, the owners are clearly aware as there are instructions on how to do it, but still really hard work and very frustrating (particularly in a supposed dog friendly property). The back door needs replacing as does the front door which didn't feel very secure and the letter box bangs and flaps, especially at night.

Beds/sofa were not particularly comfortable which was disappointing.

It was ok for a short stay as we weren't there during the day time, but probably wouldn't choose to go back unless those things were sorted.

It has amazing potential and could easily be turned from a pretty average stay into an incredible one.

Great home from home, everything needed in place. Had a lucky week with the unusually warm weather but would imagine the home would be lovely and warm when the weather turns. Minute walk to the beach, 2mins from the high street. My only suggestion would be to replace the dining chairs, too big for the space in the conservatory! Other than that no gripes at all and highly recommended place to stay with our dogs!

We had a fabulous weeks holiday in Hafan. It’s location a stones throw from the beach and comfort are second to none. Beautifully furnished in gentle seaside colours and comfortable beds Everything you could wish for. There is plenty to do in the area from good restaurants superb lobster and crab, local shop, great beach, snowdonia about 30 mins away. What more could one want. Personally I could have stayed in the cottage just gazing at the beautiful views and magnificent sunsets

We stayed as a family of 6 and dog. Location is fantastic with views of the beach from both front and rear of the property. Plenty of space for 6 and well equipped kitchen. The only negative is that the dining chairs are too big and restrict movement around the table. We loved the beach theme furnishings. We enjoyed watching planes take off and landing at RAF Valley. We ate locally at the Oyster Catcher and recommend this venue. The local shop is well stocked but for a larger shop there are supermarkets within a 15 to 20 minute drive. We enjoyed ourselves so much we booked again for next year .

We experienced a strong damp smell in the kitchen area on arrival which faded as the days went by. Maintenance call was answered very quickly, engineer was very friendly and helpful. The conservatory door is difficult to open and close, the chairs do not fit the table, one of the lounge windows lets in draughts, the television is quite small for its purpose, we found the lounge chairs very uncomfortable,no back support whatsoever.
The bungalow is in a lovely location, great views, best ever, very near the beach , and is generally comfortable. The wet room walk in shower, is superb but unfortunately the electricity tripped out twice when it was in use. The back patio area is lovely with views to the beach, very nice. Overall a nice bungalow, well equipped kitchen , fabulous location, but needs a few issues addressing.

We arrived at night in the middle of the worst storm of the year after a very long drive. Upon entering the house we found it to be it cosy & warm & a real home from home. The place was spotless. There was a little greeting pack of Welsh biscuits & milk to make a cuppa, which was a nice touch. The kitchen had a real wow factor & was equipped for any cooking eventuality. The back garden is flagged & has a raised decked area with a large table & plenty of seating to enjoy the lovely view of the beach. The weather was so bad that we were trapped indoors for 2 days, but we felt safe & secure from the elements. The bedrooms were immaculately turned out & the main bed was very comfortable. The location was excellent, only 100 yards from the beach, which was great for our two dogs. It’s also at the heart of Rhosneigr for the shops, pubs & restaurants. The locals were also very friendly. We were very happy with our stay & will be returning in future.

Beautiful property right by the beach. Great location. Spotless inside. Loads of room. Great outside area which would be lovely in the summer. The beds were really comfortable and the bedding lovely. Handy having two bathrooms especially for a large party of guests. Would definitely recommend and will be booking again.

As usual a wonderful escape to the serenity of Rhosneigr with Hafan being the perfect location being so close to the beach. If only we could buy it and we'd be there even more often.

The Good:
Nice location right by the beach. Comfortable sofas and beds. Well equipped kitchen. Decent bedding/towels.

The Bad:
There were parts of this property that had not been cleaned for a very long time and were filthy dirt eg windows, kitchen blinds, kitchen upstands, patio doors, glass dining table had bits of sand and food trapped underneath which was very unpleasant. Mop was left filthy dirty and soaking wet. Poor standard of repair - pealing wallpaper, unsightly marks on doors and woodwork, windows frames in bad condition.

There has been a lot of effort put into making this property comfortable but not much focus on cleaning and updating the decor. I complained to the letting company who were apologetic and offered a small discount (which I had to ask for). It is the first time i've booked this type of holiday and this has put me off doing it again, to be honest.

Once again another great property with Anglesey holiday lettings. Superb location , a stones throw from the beach . We had two small issues during our stay which were totally Un foreseeable. On both occasions within minutes of us calling someone arrived to solve the problem. Cannot fault the standard of service .

Have stayed here before and its a lovely house in a great location, unfortunately the new owners have updated a few things - twin beds squeezed in single room with no bedside table, chairs round dining table too large to actually get in and out from table! We also had maintenance turn up to mend garage door whilst we were there - not something you expect when paying to stay somewhere. We'll definitely use Anglesey Holidays again but at a different house.

Just loved our whit week at this bungalow. The location cannot be beaten as so close to the beach and and village centre. The back garden offer a decking area with unbroken views of the beach with the sunset. The standard of decor is fab and well thought out. The kitchen is really well equipped with high standard appliances. We loved the feeling of space for our two teenagers but at the same time we were close to each other. The fitted cupboards and wardrobes give you loads of storage. Can't wait to go back!

The property is located in a brilliant position, with plenty of parking for two cars on the drive and also if needed on a quiet road.
The property is really nicely decorated and furnished throughout. The property especially the living room is larger than I expected, with plenty of places to relax. Unfortunately the weather meant we didn’t make full use of the garden and patio but it was lovely with views of the castle.
The beach is a very short walk to the bottom of road.
The property was very clean and we enjoyed our stay.

We had a fabulous long weekend at Hafan. The location was amazing, just metres from the beach, with great views from front window and back garden. Inside is comfortable, modern and welcoming. We would be very happy to return.

We stayed at Hafan with our two dogs and had an amazing time. It is just a stones throw from the beach and a couple of minutes to the shops.

The outside space is great for BBQ's or just chilling in the sun and would highly recommend.

This was our 3rd stay at Hafan excellent location, beautiful weather and even saw a red arrows display from the beach. We love Rhosneigr and will be back next year.

I initially booked Hafan purely for the views of RAF Valley but I soon came to realise it offered much more than great views. The beach is at the end of the road and as we have a dog this was brilliant. We arrived to find a spotless well equipped bungalow. It was very spacious and we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Everything we needed was there. I honestly can’t find fault with this property

Hafan is in a great location near the shops and beach. It is a cosy warm and comfortable property with an amazing view of the sea from the front lounge.
If I had to say anything negative, it would be that it could do with a little spruce up/modernisation in places.
Overall a great little property. We would return.

Perfect location with the beach being at end of road, and village shops just round corner.
Stunning views across beach onto RAF Valley from garden - great views of hawks from Raf Valley!
Secure, enclosed garden for dogs.
Bungalow itself was presented well, nice and spacious, one tip for the awkward conservatory door is that it pulls out before sliding!

We had the most delightful two week stay at this lovely bungalow. It was clean well equipped and very comfortable.
Lovely sea views from the front lounge and the garden and so near the beach. Customer service so good and the young lady
who came to change our linen and towels mid holiday was charming. Would recommend a stay here so well positioned to beach and shops. Our two grandsons loved the jets flying over from Valley.

We had a fantastic time staying at Hafan. Rhosneigr is a great village, friendly and delicious places to eat. The highlight was of course the beach being on the doorstep.
The house was lovely, clean and well equipped. The only two things which could improve it would be a replacement patio door (the most awkward door ever!) and a more comfortable/less dated suite in the living room. Would definitely visit again though.

We stayed for 3 nights. The property is in an excellent location 30 yards from the beach with ample off street parking. The views from the back garden are stunning and the garden is fully enclosed and allows dogs. With a bit of tlc this property could have a real wow factor. As it is, its a comfortable holiday cottage for a short break. The windows have 'blown' in the lounge so really need to be changed and the sliding door out of the conservatory could do with updating as it is difficult to open and close. Having said that the location of the property makes it a property that you probably would return to if only to sit in the garden and look out to the beach and sea!

A lovely treat - five nights over Christmas in this beautiful little cottage. Warm, bedding excellent, clean and dog friendly. We got out on the water and it was fantastic to have the amazing separate wet room to get warm and dry out our wet gear. Quiet location. This property is 5 star.

We stayed at Hafan, in Rhosneigr, a place we know very well. The bungalow was well-situated, less than 100 yards from the beach and really close to the village centre. The place was lovely and warm when we arrived early evening in the dark, and the keysafe instructions worked first time. The welcome pack was lovely, instructions very clear, and we had a great time.
The place was well furnished, bedding was lovely, and the beds very comfortable.
A couple of lightbulbs went while we were there but then that can happen at any time.

The property is an ideal location near the beach and local village. The property was very clean and warm and ideal for relaxation and unwinding. At this time of year the conservatory is cool where you eat meals and could do with a warm air blower. The bunk bed in the children's room has no fall protection on the top bunk and a temporary barrier had to be sourced for the top bunk to prevent a fall. The TV could do with an updated model such as a larger flat screen. As for the rest of the house - everything was great and we had a great time and would re book for this property next year.

Best location for the beach excellent sea views from multiple locations in the property. Comfortable house had a very enjoyable week. If I had to fault one thing then it would be there wasn’t a washing line outside. We would definitely rebook location location location.

Had a wonderful late short break. The property was cosy, convenient and comfortable. Great location for eating out. Well equipped for eating in. Rhosneigr is a friendly local village. Most eateries are dog friendly. Beach walks and a visit to the beach cafe where food, cakes
and drinks are freshly made. They do great coffee and food. Great ice cream at the local ice cream shop. A drink in the local pub while you wait for your Thai takeaway from the restaurant upstairs. Walk to the Oyster Catcher restaurant and sit out in a heated beach hut to eat, dogs welcome. Great property, conservatory to dine in,
or on a nice day sit outside in the enclosed garden with sea view. Watch the sunrise and set from your armchair or the garden. Great sea views. Watch the fighter jets take off and land nearby. A great place to relax, walk out and enjoy the wildlife.

Stayed for a short break during the wrath of storm Ophelia! Hafan certainly was a haven.

The property is spacious, clean, warm and comfortable. It is in a great location being a couple of minutes from the wonderful sandy beach and the local shops and restaurants in Rhosneigr. I think I had the best fish and chips ever from the chippie!

I would recommend Hafan for a stay any time of the year.

We normally holiday north of the island but thought we would try further south, and are so pleased we did.
The house was perfect, it has everything needed for the perfect holiday and was spotlessly clean.
Just a stones throw from the lovely beach, ideal for nice long walks.

Great location, only a few steps from the beach and with fabulous views of the sea and the most glorious sunset skies. The property is comfortable and well equipped with a lovely wet room as well as a family bathroom. It's a brilliant place to stay if you have dogs, right by the dog friendly beach. Parking for 2 -3 cars at the property and near to local shops for essentials, pubs and restaurants.
Welcome pack and contact number for any problems were a nice touch, though not needed.

We spent a wonderful week at Hafan with our daughter and grandsons age 5 and 3. the beach was 100 yards away. The little boys spent hours digging and paddling. It was so handy to be able to nip back for food, drinks and toilet breaks.

The bungalow was clean and tidy and well equipped. There is lots of storage and a very useful garage for keeping sandy shoes and buckets and spades in.

We all had a very happy holiday. Thank you.

Hafan is in an amazing location, right next to the beach, great for the kids to be able to run down without crossing a road, lovely views from the living room and the gardens with sunshine all day in both the front and back gardens. It is also, in my opinion, in a lovely part of the village, very quiet yet close to the shops, cafes and surf shop.
The cottage itself is lovely. A couple of tiny drawbacks that didn't spoil our stay, like no bedside light in twin room, patio door is tricky to open, laminate flooring not solid wood (I just find it a bit slippery for our elderly dog and noisy underfoot), the decor is very pleasant but not brand new.
We would thoroughly recommend this cottage and had a fabulous stay.

Hafan is a lovely bungalow with splendid views and is within walking distance of the shops and the beach.
It is in need of a little updating in some areas, the twin room has no bedside tables or lamp and bedding a little tired.
Patio area in need of weeding and general tidying, old disposable barbeque and kids flags from previous holiday makers still there.
Walk in shower good and kitchen well equipped.

Hafan is in one of the best locations in Rhosneigr with access to the beach within 100m and a view from the decked back garden that's hard to beat.

The house fitted 4 adults and 2 children comfortably with two bathrooms making mornings much easier! The house is also well equipped making it feel like a home from home!

Fantastically situated to beach property. Very relaxing & homely can't comment on local eateries as no dogs allowed but Fish & Chip shop good. Will definitely be back. One minor problem to consider recommend patio door be changed as someone could quite easily break found really tricky to open & shut.
