As a family of 8 this house provided plenty of space for everybody to be together. Perfect location for the beach walks, pub and local restaurant Sandmount House which we booked one night and was excellent. We loved the log stove which we lit every night and made it very cosy. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was a good area to cook and sit everybody around the table. Plenty of fridge space as everybody had brought so much food and drink!

We had a wonderful stay at Hen gi Mor. The house and it's location was excellent. Even my elderly mum was able to make the short walk into the village and down to the beach. It was perfect.

A lovely house proximity to the beach perfect, we enjoyed our stay as the house was very comfortable,
Some upgrades to the kitchen would be an improvement as it was rather basic with utensils also the garden area was very tired and for a family with young children or an elder quest quite a few steps to contend with,
Overall a lovely holiday home and we would certainly look at booking again in the future.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hen Gi Mor. The location is exceptional and the house is well-equipped and well-laid out for a stay with two small families, sharing. The kitchen and living space is particularly pleasant and we spent a lot of time there, chatting, eating and playing games. There is also a lot of storage space at the property, as you have access to the garage. This is useful if you have paddle-boards, wet suits and beach equipment to store. We found Anglesey Holiday Lettings to be very responsive, when we needed to contact them and couldn't fault their customer service. We have visited Rhosneigr several times and wouldn't hesitate to return, and would happily stay in this property in the future. Thank you

The house provided space for all in a brilliant setting. The local amenities were great for dining out. The beach was literally steps away and the sunsets were great. The house itself had space for adults and children to enjoy their stay and for two families the layout and multiple bathrooms was ideal.
The driveway was narrow but this didn’t bother us. The cooking equipment was limiting when cooking for a large group but the kitchen area and attached dining made it a communal space for us all.

We booked this last minute for a weekend break. Location of the house is perfect, near all the shops, restaurants and beach.

We found the house a great size and the layout is great also - the property was clean and beds comfy - we got lucky with the weather and was able to make use of the outdoor space.

We just wished we had stayed longer and will definitely book again.

Hen Gi Mor is a lovely property just up the road from the beach with views out of the front windows and front garden. The property is well appointed with two lounges, and two dining areas, a good sized kitchen with everything you need to cook. Some of the furnishings are getting a little tired and frayed around the edges and these would benefit from an upgrade. There is a small amount of mold in the front bedrooms, the window seat fabric needs replacing as it is particularly badly marked with black and the wall paper in the bunk bed room needs attention. The bench to the front has seen better days and does need replacing before too long. However, on the whole the property is well maintained and our stay was very comfortable.
I would recommend changing the wording on the website for enclosed garden, or simply add some gates to fully enclose the back garden area from the drive and the other side of the property. I had to keep my two little dogs on a long secure lead for fear of them wandering off and getting through gaps in the main gate.
We had a really lovely stay at the property, the house is very well situated just up from the beach, it is very close to the corner shop and to all of the little cafes. Another bonus is that you can watch the planes from RAF valley and there was a training operation on the week we stayed with the chinook helicopters which was fascinating to watch.

This is a great property and a great location!
The garden is decent, much better since they go rid of the old summer house. This has made room for a great place to sit in the evening sunshine.
We will definitely stay here again.

We have just returned from a week long family holiday at Hen Gi Mor and wanted to let you know we had a lovely time.
The house was great for our party of three generations..... spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped for all our meal preparation with plenty of space for our party of seven.
We have been to Rhosneigr on many occasions so we knew the location was ideal as we spent time on both beaches.
The whole family voted it the best house we have stayed in.
We hope to return again in the future.

Very noisy location with aircraft’s and passing people, however perfect for the beach and local shops.

A lovely big house with a lots of space. Always felt cool even though it was very warm.


Back doorstep is dangerous with loose tiles.

The outhouse in the garden needs a tidy up, broken windows, was locked so unusable. There was a rocker in the garden but the handle was broken so worried it would cut toddlers hands.

The garden really could do with a rethink to make it more family friendly / usable. No chairs to sit on the grass / parasol but there was a wooden bench.

Garage door was propped shut with a watering can.

Curtains upstairs didn’t fit the window properly.

Television in the lounge wouldn’t show many channels for example BBC. This was reported but couldn’t be resolved.


Would recommend but maybe not for toddlers …

We stayed in this property last summer and the issues we found then remain. Some lightbulbs not working, kitchen equipment needs updating (baking tins worn oh, frying pans not good for example), the inset sink was full of ‘gunge’ around the rim. The heating came on in the middle of the night as the time clock was way out. We tried to phone maintenance but could get no reply.
Worst point was the back bedroom mattress which is so uncomfortable (as last year) that I used the spare bunk bed. The edge of the mattress on the double bed was so worn down, my partner fell out and hit his head. The garden is not enclosed well(dogs can easily jump over the front wall) so we again made barriers with old doors we found at the property. One bathroom window was so badly fitting we wedged tissue around the edge.
It IS in a brilliant location and we did have a lovely holiday having decided to just get on with it but, having paid over £2,000 we felt it should be better presented with a decent mattress and heating properly working.

Hen Gi Mor is the perfect home from home for families. A lovely detached property with plenty of space. You can see the beach and sea from the house and be on the beach in one minute.
Park the car and forget it everything is within walking distance.

The house was lovely and clean with plenty of room for a couple of families. The lounges were both comfortable and spacious with good views and access to the garden. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of crockery and glasses, chairs could do with replacing or at least tightening up on the legs. Bedrooms were fine but could benefit from blinds as the curtains are very thin, as could the bathroom. Garden isn't fully enclosed so you need to keep an eye on those little escape artists. Location is spot on for Rhosneigr and the beach.

Very comfortable house and is very well equipped. Hen gi mor is a short walk to the beach - excellent for kite surfers. Anglesey lettings are very good to deal with, we had a minor problem with the back window and they came out to the house straight away

Another lovely break at Hen gi Mor. The layout of the property is really good. Although we spent most of our time sitting around the kitchen table where we could chat and drink tea! And in November, the log burner was wonderful. So convenient for everything - two minutes to the beach and shops.

Great house and very central. Very comfortable living spaces and kitchen is stocked well. That said, welcome pack for the house was very meagre. 1 toilet roll per bathroom and no welcome bottle of something? Considering paying £1800+ for a weeks holiday. Seemed quite mean.
Also damp in the front bedrooms - so black mould on window seat and subsequently set off my husbands asthma. There was also quite a lot of broken doors and gates left in the garden as well. Which didn’t make for the most amazing welcome - these weren’t taken during our stay.
Location was terrific - stones throw from the beach but I think some smaller attentions to detail on customer service front needed to warrant these price points in Anglesey.

Hen Gi Mor is in a perfect location for the beach and for travelling around Anglesey. House suited our multigenerational family needs, only downside to the property is the steps out into the garden which are not too child friendly unfortunately. This did not spoil our holiday perfect weather totally made up for it as plenty of time on the beach.

Good location, and property was fine but small things like milk left was curdled, Bin was broken, front gate was broken and despite calling I didn’t get a call back or it fixed which caused issues with the dog/pram. Outside areas too particularly the garage need addressing as there was a bad smell. Overall it was ok, but could have been much better didn’t get right service expected from Anglesey letting.

Our maintenance team came to fix the gate which involved it being removed, but you requested that it be returned, thus meaning that it had to be tied in place until it could be properly attended to.This has since been fixed and is in good working order. We have passed on your feedback to the housekeeping and maintenance team regarding the garage and the bin, which again, has been replaced. We do always strive to do everything possible to make the experience for our guests a positive one, and feel disappointed that you felt that we could have done better.

It was a nice house in a nice location.
The whole house needed a refresh.
The walls, radiators and doors were covered in marks.
The seat covers in the dining room chairs were covered in marks and needed washing.
The bench seat in main bedroom was covered in mould.
Plus I spent a long time trying to find the property as on the website the exterior is cream but in reality it is blue.
But all this didn't spoil our holiday.

What a lovely, comfortable house. A great location, close to the beach and a two minute walk to the High Street. Very clean, modern and spacious throughout. The beds were all comfortable and the bedrooms bright and nicely decorated. The kitchen was very modern, and well equipped. There was plenty of parking space on the drive, but we left both cars on the road. The dogs loved being so close to the beach. All bars, restaurants and cafes are dog-friendly in Rhosneigr so we had no worries about taking them in. Would highly recommend Hen Gi Mor. Thank you.

A great family home so close to the beach. Really nice garden for dogs.
Two reception rooms are ideal as there is plenty of space. Large farmhouse table in kitchen is very social and the layout means people can join in or sit comfy as they please.

Laminate flooring on ground floor did cause a few issues for our dogs who are used to a less slippery surface but the enclosed garden is great for dogs and our dogs spent many a happy hour on the front lawn in the sun enjoying the attention of passers by. Beach is just down the road and is really dog friendly all year round. Great location.

The en-suite is off the double bedroom not the king but not a big issue. The family bathroom is lovely and the shower is great. The other shower room and loo are on the ground floor off the utility space.

The house is a nice family home, lived in but comfy, clean and bright. There is a strong smell from the boiler which is fed by the oil tank. We did need to keep the internal kitchen door closed to stop it permeating the house. We would have kept the dogs in there at night but the smell was too strong.

I would definitely book this house again, the village is small but has some lovely places to eat and the beach has everything you could want.

Ideally placed for the beach which is great if you take a dog away with you. The house has loads of space if you need some peace and quiet.
My only criticism is the kitchen utensils need an upgrade the pans are very very tired.

My second stay in this lovely house which has great location close to the beach . I was a bit disappointed that the property was looking a bit tired , particularly upstairs with peeling paint , there were also few maintenance issues which perhaps come with the property being empty for so long but these were quickly attended to by the maintenance man . I understand the property has been sold so the owners perhaps don’t want to spend any money but it would have benefitted by a spruce up over lockdown as it is in the higher rental price bracket .

Great house - big enough for everyone but enough space for people not be on top of each other with 2 lounges and large kitchen diner . All equipment in kitchen good and plenty of fridge space . Lots of games and reading material available in house . Have stayed in another property in Rhosneigr previously with same company and although that was fab for couple this had much better location - 2 mins to beach and 5 mins to shops / bar/ restaurant . Close to Wales coastal path also so great walks and fab views of jets from RAF Valley - amazing ! Would like to book again but lots of dates full up already .

Stayed here with my family had such a relaxing stay. The set up of the house is fantastic. Lovely large kitchen and 2 seating areas. Makes it a lovely social space. The garden was fantastic for the kids and very private. Loved that it was close to the beach too we would definitely return. We have stayed at 3 of the holidays letting places now and this has been our favourite.

This is a lovely house, spacious and comfortable. It’s location is great too. There’s a good view of the beach from the first floor bedrooms and across to the RAF Valley.

We have stayed here several times now and it feels like ‘home’ when we stay. Perfect location. This year there were lovely Christmas trees decorated and a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us. Lovely touch...thankyou. We will be staying again soon.

Had a long weekend with family and dogs. House was lovely and comfortable and warm which was great as the weather was bitter cold. The beach is nearer to the house than it seems on the photos and you could see it from the upstairs windows. There were lots of wind and kite surfers on the sea all day long (must have no sense in that weather !!!) I can imagine in the Summer it must be fabulous to pop down to the beach as it is huge. All in all we had a wonderful time.

A lovely big family home on the road leading down to the beach, perfect for a stroll down to see the sunset. Lots of space with two lounges, and a table in each to eat at should you fancy using the well equipped kitchen. Has a shower room by the back door, family bathroom and en suite shower. Beds were really comfortable and there were towels aplenty. As it wasn't our first stay at Rhosneigr we didn't need to ask for anything from the rental team, and they respected our privacy - we greatly appreciated this as one of our dogs is very nervous with strangers in 'his' space. Rhosneigr is a great base from which to explore Anglesey.

We loved this house, plenty of space and lovely views from some of the rooms. The downstairs space worked particularly well for us, with 2 reception rooms for us to spread out.

the house was in a great location and beautifully kept. The oven was a bit of a disaster but didn't need to use it much!!

During our recent visit to Hen Gi Mor, this was not to be just a normal visit but a week long celebration of a special birthday, we arrived on Friday 3rd to the house which is set in a beautiful location approximately 75 yards from the beach, and even closer to the centre of "town" if you go out of the back gate and down the back road.
The house was well appointed and clean and tidy in readiness for our visit, there were 7 of us staying at Hen Gi Mor and there was more than ample room for everyone to relax and have alone time if needed during what was a hectic week.
Not only was this our base for the week but was also a superb property for us to entertain our friends who were staying in other properties and it was in easy reach for everyone to get back to their accommodation safely after the celebrations had subdued.
This is a fabulous property and well worth a visit should you be needing plenty of space for family, friends or a special occasion to celebrate. Highly recommended.

We chose this house as it was close to the beach, we could walk to the restuarants and shops and it was big enough to accommodate 4 couples from the same family and a young boy. We also had a small dog for a few days.

The beach had everything we wanted including rock pools when the tide went out to entertain our youngster and a pretty tough golf course to test others!

We booked this originally as a weekend away but, then changed it to a full week. And it was defintely worth it.
The house itself is absolutely stunning and flawless.
Great access to the beach and local shops and bars.
We stayed as a family of 5 with two dogs an there was enough room for everybody. Then 3 of us left for another 3 to join on a golfing holiday. So the location is fantastic for a varierty of people.
There were some items of clothing that was missed when cleaning before we arrived but, these were behind doors, so easily done.
There was a problem with one of the showers leaking but, we rang up to report this and someone came out after just over an hour to fix this. Then rang to give us an update on it.
The house is so spacious, you are not tripping over each other.
We didnt even end up using the main living room at the weekend because, we were making the most of the board games provided.
We've already talked about coming back again.
It has absolutely everything you could want.
Some reviews on tripadvisor said that the garden wasn't secure for the dogs but, we had two and just closed the gates at the front and everything was perfectly secure.
Would defintely reccomend this to anyone asking

We stayed at Hen Gi Mor in April for a long weekend. This is the second time we have used Rhosneigr Holiday Lettings and as before everything was great.

The house is lovely, with great living space, beautifully decorated and clean, it is really well equipped with everything you could need. The kitchen dining area was a great family area and really helpful with two young children. The outside space was great for the dogs as it was secure and spacious.

But we can’t leave a review of the house without mentioning the location! Right on the beach, close to the shops and walking distance to the Oyster Catcher restaurant!

The booking process was really easy and simple and Jamie and his team were great, on having a problem with a baby gate we had a member of the team at the door within half an hour. Fantastic service!

Thank you again Jamie and the team...we’ll be back soon!

This property was simply wonderful. We had an absolutely fantastic stay. The house was wonderfully open and light. All the bedrooms were comfortable and the living spaces were well connected which was great when going away as a big family. The dining table positioned overlooking the view of the beach was stunning and great for watching sunsets. The customer service was also excellent, we couldn’t quite figure out our heating and Jamie was round within 10 minutes of a phone call and was wonderfully reassuring and polite. We absolutely loved our stay and I hope we will be back soon.

Cannot fault our stay at Hen Gi Mor with two living rooms our two families could do their own thing. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. The weather was kind to us cold and windy but sunny perfect for walking on the lovely beach which was just down the road. I would certainly recommend this house for your holiday.

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Hen Gi Mor where we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Our party consisted of six adults and dogs with a further couple of family members coming over for dinner on the Saturday evening. The house and large dining table accommodated us all really well as the kitchen/dining room/lounge is a really open social space with the added bonus of a downstairs loo/shower room.

The location of the property is ideal as it is a one minute walk to the beautiful beach of Rhosneigr and is the perfect location for taking your dogs or children onto the beach. All the amenities are close by and we had a lovely walk over to the Oyster Catcher.

We had a small problem with the heating and phoned Jamie who was with us within minutes and sorted it out for us so excellent for customer service in our book.

All in all a perfect weekend in a perfect house in our favourite location in Anglesey. Will definitely return and have already booked again with Rhosneigr Properties for a smaller property in April as we are leaving the family behind this time.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay in this lovely house, 5 Adults and Barney the dog really enjoyed our visit to Rhosneigr. The house was exactly as described with everything you could need. We would recommend the fish & chips and we spent Sunday afternoon at Sullivans where we had a delicious meals, excellent service and really pleasant atmosphere.

Hen Gi Mor is a lovely house not far from the beach and the centre of Rhosneiger. The two lounges and three bathrooms for a family of seven were ideal. the accommodation was well equipped and included games for the children. We enjoyed the house so much that we booked again for next year.

It states in the welcome pack to leave the house in a clean condition but there was nothing to clean with, so we had to go out and buy some cleaning materials. We also found that when it rained the TV went off (no signal), there was a DVD player but no DVD's.
The garden was unkempt, when you are paying a lot of money to stay in a house these things matter.

The location was good for the beach as only two minutes walk.

I have since tasked our cabling engineer to investigate the television signal issue; if you had called we would have resolved the problem there and then but as it wasn't reported our following guests also experienced the same problem. Our letter that you did receive specifically states what is provided and as it is a self catering holiday home we do not provide cleaning materials other than the items stated. I will be speaking to the owners today to discuss the trees in the front garden that admittedly do make a mess of the garden in strong winds but I do feel 'unkempt' is not a fair comment. Had 5 adults, 2 children and a dog in our party and thought the house was superb for our needs. Having 2 lounges, 1 without television and a sea view ( from 1 seat ) was also a bonus. There was a varied selection of toys and games for the kids and a back lawn for them to play on. Beds and chairs were comfortable. Plenty of kitchen utensils although the pans are a bit dated and could do with replacing. Good selection of glasses and plenty of cups. Location is ideal, close to beach / shops/ restaurants and in June was very quiet. Having a garage to put my trailer in was handy as was the space for 3 cars.
Small problems were quickly sorted by Jamie from Holiday Lettings. All in all a cracking place to stay

Fabulous location, beach at the end of the road. Ideal for larger families with the two sitting rooms. Improvements - tall side gates to the back, on both sides to make the garden enclosed and secure, the smallest of dogs would be off over the wall at the front, so dogs can't be let loose and children would need constant supervision.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hen Gi Mor. The house was very spacious, plenty of room for our party of 4 adults and two children. It was very comfortable and well equipped, a real 'home from home'. Our daughter was particularly happy with the cupboard full of games and colouring pens she found!!

The property was excellent, it was clean and spacious, it had everything we needed for a stay with grandparents, parents, children and dog. The 2 lounges catered for both age groups, the 3 bathrooms were excellent and also the large bedrooms. A bottle of Prosecco, Welsh Cakes and milk were an excellent welcome. The beach was a stones throw with amazing views of the sunsets. There are local shops with everything you need, The Oyster Catcher restaurant being my daughter's favourite. I would highly recommend a stay and i will be booking again next year for the whole family.
