We have stayed many times art this cottage always spotless and has everything you need for your stay .we had a great stay the location is great for RAF jet lovers which my son is .
The sand dunes are right on the door step for great dog walks .
And great pubs and restaurants not far away .




Very comfortable house in a great location if you like quite apart from the RAF free displays

We have stayed in this house over a number of years and even 2 different names Lan Y Mor and Glan Y Mor, so we like where it is and we love the house and the surrounding area.
Overall the property is very comfortable and warm with great wifi and a good smart TV, their is even a cellar for the kids - which we do not have!
The living area and the beds are really comfortable and clean.
The kitchen is good but the cooker is quirky with only one oven that is predictable in behaviour, over recent years the kitchen supplies seem to have shrunk so their are less pans etc, and the last time we stayed there was not even a decent non stick pan for a fried egg and the toaster only has 2 out of 4 working filaments!
Despite this the kitchen is spacious, the fridge freezer great capacity and I love the property for its comfort and location. But don't stay here if you don't like planes coming into land at the RAF valley base, also if you have mobility issues the outside seating areas are compromised. But I love it and am staying there next year!

Stayed here for 1 week, lovely house very clean and tidy, thought the welcome pack was a nice touch even a little treat for the dog, location is amazing straight out onto the Dunes or watch the jets from the terrace, minutes walk from bars and restaurants will definitely be returning

Property has a very unsafe entrance stairs are way to high, mum fell up them entering the house on the first day ruined her holiday and ended up in AnE, steps to the rear of the property were condemned very usafe definitely going to snap when someone steps on them, overall the house wasn’t very good from the basement being unusable because of the smell of damp and the fact you can’t stand up if your over 5 foot, there wasn’t many good things to say about lan y mor im afraid to say apart from its location right by the beach other than that id avoid this property

Having a very good knowledge of the property and visited it again post your review, I can confirm that the steps to the property are compliant and safe. The cellar is as it says, as cellar and unfortunately venting a space like this is difficult; as an additional amenity to the property (and not a habitable space) it serves the youngsters well as a games room. I am sorry to hear you felt the property did not serve you well but we have had over 100 guest bookings there and it is well received.

Lovely property situated very close to the beach, five minute walk over the sand dunes. The property was very comfortable and clean with some outdoor seating to the front and rear which was great for a sunny day. The property listing showcases the basement space as an extra reception room ("ideal for kids and teenagers"), however we felt let down by the space. There was no indication on the listing that the ceilings are quite low; anyone over 5ft 9 would be unable to stand upright. Additionally the basement itself smelled quite strongly of damp which, together with the height issue, made the space unusable for us as a family. For this reason we were unable to give it five stars for condition and value for money. Anglesey Holiday Lettings ("AHL") did respond to our initial concerns very quickly sending a cleaning team to try to rectify the issue however after a day the smell had returned. We feel that this is more of a long term issue with the property, and not something that can be rectified with a "quick fix". If you're planning to book this property bear in mind that you may also find the basement room to be unusable.

We stayed at Lan Y Mor with our daughter and her 2 children aged 4 and 6. The layout of the house worked really well, well furnished and equipped. Backing onto the dunes was perfect. The store underneath the decking was great for storing bikes and kayaks.
The hedge around the decking overlooking the dunes could do with trimming, and the sycamore beside the other decking will very rapidly become too big!
All in all a great holiday

This was our third stay in this property, and will be looking to book again. The location is so good, close to the beach, and if like us you enjoy watching the planes it is ideal to sit on the back decking and watch. The property is well maintained, and just really comfy. You can easily self cater, or plenty of eating places nearby. Having stayed in Rhosneigr many times, Lan y Mor is definitely our favourite property, would highly recommend.

Love Lan y mor …we have been coming here for years! It’s always lovely. Couple of points this time. The info book needs updating, we still can’t get to grips with that oven! And there were a couple of issues with broken things being left lying about..health and safety, nothing massive just broken boiler cover left in kitchen, which we thought a bit strange. But the house is gorgeous. Only real criticism is that over the years less and less oven trays, less of a welcome pack…think Covid has taken its toll. But we will be back. We think the check in time of 5pm is incredibly late though…you are really only getting 6 days holiday. I have lots of friend who have check in times of 2 or 3 pm at cottages elsewhere. And I had a big health issue over the last two years and asked if we could possibly move it to 3, offering to pay more, because of being tired travelling ( last time we gave up our first night and travelled the next day early) and were told that was impossible because of cleaning routines. We are always the best of guests and wouldn’t ask for anything unless it was absolutely necessary. And we have been going to the cottage and others in Rhosneigr for years and have noticed these slight changes in care over the last few years.
We managed ok, but it really wasn’t that big an ask.
However go stay at the house, it’s lovely, it’s comfy, it’s in a perfect place.
There isn’t disabled access and it’s a walk over dunes or long walk down the estuary to the beach so if you need shorter easier access or parking for more than one car stay closer to town.
But we love it and its standard of cleanliness and comfort is great.

We have stayed in this cottage twice and it is amazing it meets our needs as it’s so clear to raf valley for our jet mad son . The location is great not too close to the busy centre of rhosneigr .
Great dog walks right from the door .
Great views .
And the cottage has everything you will need for a great stay .

Absolute love it here .. second time here and just booked a third the end of January. Perfect location, cozy comfy beds lovely towels bedding etc .. stunning views from front & back, everything you need in the kitchen including Prosecco glssses !! Lovely bath and a nice walk to the beach .. and to the shops .. oyster bay perfect for a nice hot chocolate or a cocktail.. everywhere dog friendly. Feel like you have recharged your batteries when you leave , what’s not to love ❤️



Lovely relaxing break. Cottage was very comfortable and clean and location great. would def return.

We had a lovely stay in this comfortable homely cottage. A great set up only a few steps from stunning dunes and then onto the beach. The RAF valley was a hit for me- fascinated by the noisy activity of fighter jets again on your doorstep! Lots of dog walking, fresh air, sea dips, eating out, golf and generally relaxing in our rented spot. Definitely to be revisited again with hopefully some warmer weather next time :-) Thank you.

The property is perfectly placed, a short walk over the dunes and you have a gorgeous beach.

Very spacious and light, beds comfy and kitchen good although could do with more cooking trays.

Disappointed the hedge blocks the view of the dunes but understand some people like privacy.

For us parking was an issue as we have a big van and most days all spaces were taken so not sure where 2 cars would park.

We'd definitely visit again though ☺️

A fantastic house in an enviable location looking out over the sand dunes.
Everything you needed was there, and you were a short walk into the village where we used the 10% discount in Sandy Mount Hotel.
Perfect location, perfect house.
If I was to provide any negatives, I would say the 5 pm check in time was too late, we would have liked earlier.

Cottage location is superb, front door straight onto dunes of Rhosneigr! Parking at back for 2 cars. Lovely and quiet.
Spacious and comfy kitchen/diner & lounge, spacious upstairs master and bathroom. Downstairs en-suite is extremely tight for space. Folding door to en-suite, sink is way too big for the space, makes using the toilet a challenge! Shower is snug, but does the job.
There are a lot of steps getting from front to back, so keeps you fit, but definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone with walking difficulties.

We had a fabulous stay, and we would definitely go back!

Simply furnished white and blue seaside themed cottage with laminate flooring on ground floor, super soft carpet upstairs but bring your slippers!
Cool play den for children in the cellar.
Great location to dog walk from, straight onto the dunes.
Downstairs en-suite useful but house not suitable for those with mobility issues as steps on the ground floor and narrow access to this en-suite.
Highlights- great shower and spacious family bathroom, super clean, good location for dog walking/access to the beach.

Lovely location especially if you enjoy watching the aircraft at the RAF base. We had a few issues with the house which were dealt with fairly quickly by angelsey holiday lettings. There are some things that could be improved such as upstairs shower and sofas in living room.
Overall a comfortable house in a lovely spot.

This house is in a great location right on the sand dunes so was great for walking the dog and beach access. Main shops about 10mins walk away. Golf club was friendly and allowed children so that was a great bonus. The house had been thoroughly cleaned. There are parts in the bathrooms that are looking a bit worn and need a revamp like the picture canvas in the bathroom is mouldy and the silicone seals around the bath have cracked. The shower in the main bathroom unpleasant to use as water accumulates in the tray due to poor drainage and there is a warning sign saying don’t use for too long in case of flooding so you are constantly worried about it slopping over. I marke tge comfort score down because the sofas in the living room, particularly the black one, are uncomfortable and the cream leather was was actually quite dirty. The living room could perhaps do with the reorganisation so that the small TV in the corner is more watchable. The main bedroom has a lovely restful feel and it was quiet front and back for a good nights sleep.

We ve just come back from a lovely weeks stay in Lan Y Mor. The cottage is in an ideal location and was spotlessly clean, with everything you could need to enjoy your stay. We were very lucky with the weather so spent most of the day on the beautiful beach just minutes walk from the cottage. Will definitely be rebooking as soon as i can get more leave!

Enjoyed a wonderful week here. Alfie (the cockapoo) loved the early morning beach walks, chasing the rabbits in the dunes, the cottage was we could have wished for, with possibly the need for a TV in the master bedroom, kitchen excellently equipped, will definitely return to Rhosneigr

Really enjoyed our weeks stay in this beautiful spacious property. Ideal location a short walk straight onto the beach or the dunes and to join the coastal path route. Well appointed with everything you may need. Great decked areas to sit out at front and back of property when you get lovely weather as we did. Situated in a lovely peaceful spot apart from the planes which if you know Rhosneigr is all part of the wonderful experience. Will definitely book this property again.

All positive, beautiful accommodation, great location, and 11am checkout makes such a difference, no rushing needed on final day. The single negative is the 5 pm check in, very late. But would not stop us from returning, had a fabulous break.

Great holiday. House was brilliant. Very clean, very comfy, lots of space, step outside and you are virtually on the beach. Sand dunes just on your doorstep. En suite was small but all you need so no complaints at all. We'd all stay again. Good base too for travel around the island.

Booked this due to beach location it's just a few minutes walk over the dunes to launch.
Lovely spotlessly clean house with comfy beds pillows and bedding.
The kids loved the downstairs it was their own little den!!
The house has been very tastefully decorated in a beach rustic theme and has everything you need for cooking.
Lovely lounge area very much home from home.
There's also an outdoor shed for bikes and an outside tap to clean down boards etc.
The outside area would be lovely in summer sadly we didn't have the weather.
Only a few mins into town via beach or road.
The only downside is the late check in as most of your day is gone.

Lan Y Mor, is a great house, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is fabulous being right next to the beach, we saw some beautiful sunsets here. The beach is maybe not so good for swimming, it's windy & a great location for kite surfing.

Had 3 nights here in October with my sisters and mum plus one dog. Cottage had everything we could need. Perfect location for the beach over the dunes, and the town a ten minute stroll away where there are a few bars and restaurants. There is a basement for children, fully equipped with games and disco lights.
The cottage was lovely and clean. The owner has furnished the cottage well, well heated and all beds are super comfy. Netflix Wifi all easy accessible. All in all a lovely stay.

This is a beautiful cottage with lovely views from the front bedroom window. It is nicely decorated and very clean. From the cottage you can walk out onto the sand dunes and down onto the beach (this would be an issue for anyone with any mobility issues but there is another route (5-20 mins walk) to town/the beach by pathways). It has a small bathroom downstairs with a toilet/shower and the larger bathroom upstairs with a larger bathroom. There was everything we needed and we would definitely use this cottage again.

A fantastically placed and well appointed accommodation amongst the dunes with easy access to the town and beach. Would certainly recommend to others. Only downside is that parking is not particularly ideal.

This was our second time this year at Lan Y Mor. For us, the location is perfect, a lovely walk through the dunes and along the beach to the shop and bars/cafes. The house itself is very homely. It’s not a modern soulless house. It’s lived in. It has personality.
It has a great view of the run way from the rear deck. And beautiful sunsets over the dunes from the front deck.

Lan Y Mor is a beautiful house, spacious for a family group of six, including teenagers and our spaniel. Very impressed. Three separate areas to sit out and eat or enjoy the sun. The house is very clean, well appointed and in a beautiful spot. It faces straight onto the beautiful dunes and is a great spot for long beach walks and enjoying the sun. Also great to see the aircraft taking off and landing at RAF Valley. Our car was parked up all week as we made the most of the beach and a few great places to eat. Service from Anglesey Holiday Lettings was excellent, including a seamless transfer of our deposit from a previous booking at another cottage which we couldn't visit due to lockdown. Lan Y Mor is a 10 minute walk by beach or road to Rhosneigr town. Sandy Mount House has great food, drink and service, though you may need to book. We also had a snack lunch at Mojos - very tasty, plus takeaway fish and chips from Scarlett's. Lan Y Mor was great value for money and will we happily recommend and return.

A lovely cottage overlooking the dunes at the rear. A great place to create lifetime memories with kids and grandparents alike. Clean, comfortable and very well provided for with good WiFi, a must for any peaceful teenager holiday!!

We really enjoyed our time in Lan Y Mor, the location being so close to the large sand dunes of Rhosneigr was perfect... a short stroll to some beautiful views and a beach that never seems too busy is just what we wanted. The property itself is well kept, with a lovely modern kitchen which we found very good for a self-catering break. The house layout is quirky (we were never sure which was technically the front door and which the back door!) but it has everything necessary for a comfortable stay and all the rooms feel spacious and comfortable, plus there is a great shower in the upstairs bathroom (which not all holiday accommodation seems to have!)
As ever, Anglesey Holiday Lettings are a pleasure to deal with and we will definitely be back in future and really enjoyed the stay here.

Lovely place to stay great views from both the front and the back , 2 lovely sitting areas outside , house had everything we needed except TV remote but not a problem !
Downstairs bedroom and en suite great for elderly parent.

Far end of Rhosneigr’s restaurants and only a mile from The Oyster Catcher !

Will definitely look to stay again.

We were very fortunate with the wonderful weather - hot and dry. The cottage is perfectly located towards the edge of the town, but so close to the dunes and the beach beyond, it was absolutely ideal for our vacation. Just a ten minute walk, or amble, and you're in the town with all it's facilities, though we didn't need for much provision wise, as we brought most with us and arranged a supermarket delivery for our arrival too. Eating out was great, though advance booking is usually required with local Covid restrictions. Overall, the cottage, the location, and the nature at your doorstep, was just the tonic for a wonderful holiday.

Lovely cottage in a quiet location. Ideal for plane watching. Kitchen well equipped with everything needed. We had one or two minor issues which were reported and dealt with. The photographs on the website don’t show all the steps throughout the property which could be a problem for elderly people, and the ground floor en suite is a very tight squeeze.
All in all a nice property.

I’ve been going to Rhosneigr since 1987. And for me, this house is perfectly placed and the end of the beach, so each day I can walk my dog along the beach and call in one of the cafes for a coffee.
It’s perfectly quiet, aside from the planes, which I love anyway.
The 2 outide areas are great. We enjoyed breakfast on the raised deck each morning and enjoyed watching the jets from there. And then moved round to the front deck in the afternoon for a glass of wine and watched the sunset.
The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. And the cosy living area was just lovely and relaxing, having the patio doors open really brought the outside in.
The main bedroom was massive and had lovely sea views and enough storage space for me and my husband.
The bathroom had a bath and shower and was large enough to accommodate 4 people getting ready in the morning.
All in the all the property is in the perfect location, a lovely walk from the centre of the village. It’s clean, and decorated to a high standard, but not modern/cold. It was warm, cosy and felt like home.
I’ve already booked to go back again this year.

This is a great cottage in a fantastic location. Clean and comfortable with a 10 minute walk into the town centre (either via the road or even better, along the beach).

We had a lovely time here, the house was clean and very homely. Perfectly situated near the beach. Watch out for the RAF jets as they start quite early in the mornings. We enjoyed the birds eye view of them from the deck. All in all a wonderful break! We will certainly return.

We’d visit again just for the amazing shower!! Perfectly located for the beach - a quick run through the dunes. Kids loved the basement den. We’ll definitely visit again.

great place for families. Good to have 2 bathrooms. Seperate well stocked kids den. Home from home with all amenities you could need.
3 areas with view means you have sun all times of day. V close to RAF Valley with great views of aircraft taking off.
Storage area for bikes was good too.

This is a lovely cottage close to the beach . It is well decorated and well equipped. Rhosneigr Lettings were very helpful. We had a really relaxing and comfortable holiday.

We had a great stay, the cottage is very stylishly decorated, fully equipped and cosy with a spacious kitchen/dining area.
Superb location, the beach was lovely and only one minute walk away over the Sand Dunes.
The local shops and restaurants being 5/6 minute walk.
Good location for watching the planes take off and land from RAF Valley and walking distance to Anglesey golf club.
It was our first time on Anglesey, we explored both locally and around Anglesey and Holyhead.
We got lucky with the weather and we'll be back in the near future.
The Oystercatcher is a must for a relaxing drink or two.

Being on the sand dunes we lost the kids for the weekend to pirates and adventures. The sunsets were fantastic...especially with the local gin. What a great place for really happy holidays, lovely and clean and more than everything we needed...it was almost better than home! Thanks x
