Lovely house with great bedrooms with seatng, comfortable beds and good facilities.
Downstairs toilet a bit of a squeeze but two gorgeous bathrooms, well laid out kitchen with all the utensils we needed plus living room with wood burner for a bit of atmosphere on top of central heating while watching the wifi enabled TV.
We didn't use the washing machine or the outdoor seating area but would love to come back when a bit warmer and use the barbecue!

A beautiful home we keep coming back to. Well equipped house with everything we needed for a 2 family stay with dogs. Lovely enclosed sun trap courtyard, very secure for dogs. Great location for beach and restaurants.
Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this property for a holiday stay.

This is our 4th stay at Maelog Villa. The first time our friends booked it and since then this is our go to house in Rhosneigr, if available. The size of the property and the configuration of the rooms is perfect for our 2 families (which includes 4 teens) and 2 dogs without feeling cramped.
Well equipped, beautifully decorated, very clean, lovely sun trap in the courtyard and a discreet seating area in the front to catch the evening sunset. Perfect, we will be back again.

We spent a week in the property, it was a large well equipped property. It is in a prime position in Rhosneigr close to the shops & eating establishments. The enclosed back yard ensured our dog was secure & there was private parking for two cars with easy access.

It was lovely to finally visit maelog Villa. This house originally belonged to my husbands great grandparents and grandparents. So it was fantastic to get a feel for the place. We were extremely comfortable and cost.

We stayed as a family for a short break on Anglesey and Maelog Villa did not disappoint. The house is fully stocked with everything you would need to cook, dine and enjoy the space. Beds were comfy, linens and towels were superb and the honesty wine rack was a lovely touch. The property is close by some great restaurants, bars and a few shops, so we didn't need to travel far for anything. Overall a lovely stay and we would highly recommend this property.

Ideally situated and generally well equipped the only disappointment was that the BBQ was unusable due to a missing grill and our telephoned request for a replacement was ignored. It lacked a few items e.g. no USB charging points and no where to plug in a toothbrush or electric razor. However we enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider re-booking.

Maelog Villa is the most amazing property. Everything inside is top end, it’s the ideal base for small or larger gathering. Several steps throughout but not an issue. Views of the sea and local restaurants / cafe / shops literally a few yards away. The villa is very private though with a very skilfully designed sun trap at the front of the villa for an afternoon nap! There is a larger area at the back for BBQ / outside dining. Lots of relaxing walks along the beach and round a small inland lake. If you’re looking for a relaxing break with top class accommodation this is the villa for you.

We have stayed many times in Rhosneighr over the years and love it! This year we came back with friends and needed a bigger property, loved Maelog Villa. It was spacious so that we we all had or own "space." The decor is lovely and everything is there that you need for your stay away-would highly recommend.

We stayed at Maelog villa for a week over Easter and absolutely loved our stay. The house is fantastic and has everything that you could possibly need. Lots of kitchen utensils and crockery, pots and pans.
All the bedrooms are very spacious and the beds very comfortable.
The house was extremely clean and cleaning stuff was provided to keep the house tidy.
The outside patio was lovely, nice little sun spot and completely secure for the little doggies. We could let them outside safely knowing they couldn't get out.
The driveway at the back of the house is very large and we easily fit 3 large cars on there.
The games room in the garage is a nice extra, we didn't use it much as the pool table and table tennis need a little TLC but there a bonus if you do use them.
The location was excellent and one of the best aspects. It is right on the main high street, just 2 minutes walk to the beach. Right outside the front door is a chippy, pizza place, a corner shop, coffee house, ice cream shop, farm shop, everything you could need within 2 minutes walk.
The only small niggle was the oven kept tripping the electrics, easily solved with the fuse box but this is something the owner may want to look at as reading other reviews this happens alot.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definely recommend this house for anyone wanting to visit anglesey.

We had a fabulous stay in the Easter break , we have stayed at too many places to mention in Rhosneigr as have been holidaying there since I was young and have taken our own children since they were born and Maelog is now our favourite place to stay. It is furnished beautifully and is really spacious, so nice that the owners haven’t squeezed in extra bedrooms to accommodate more people! I love it! Anglesey Lettings staff were also really easy to get hold of and really kind and willing to help out with any questions! We will be back!

Our stay in Maelog Villa was for a 3 generation family and we weren’t disappointed. The house is comfortably furnished and stylishly kitted out with attractive soft furnishings and beautiful pictures. The house is very well equipped with more than enough cutlery and crockery though none of us were impressed with the wonky style of Portmeirion crockery. Though attractive, there is an art to safely loading it in the dishwasher and cupboards! We had a problem with the Range cooker repeatedly tripping. However an Electrician called in mid week to sort another situation “in the box” after which we had no further problems with the oven. There were a couple of other housekeeping niggles but we worked around them.
The house is spacious, has large rooms and is light and airy. We were asked to strip the very comfortable beds on departure.and were all impressed by the cleanliness of the duvets, pillows and mattresses. The bed linens were of good Hotel quality as were the fluffy white towels. We always had plenty of hot water in the kitchen and bathrooms.
Maelog Villa is bang on the High Street yards from Beach Road and the village clock. At the height of the season, Rhosneigr was busy but the house is an oasis of peace and calm. There is a seating area at the front of the house, screened off for privacy, and the back garden has two comfortable seating areas. The Garage is converted into a Games Room. A nice idea but with a broken table tennis net and a split in one of the snooker cues, we didn’t make use of this facility. Had the weather been poor, there was a cupboard full of games along with DVDs and reading matter. With Rhosneigr being so busy, we were glad Maelog Villa provided two safe off road parking spaces. .
A big shout out and thank you to Rhosneigr/Anglesey Holiday Lettings for their help, advice and friendliness from first booking Maelog Villa in 2019, the later disappointing cancellation due to Covid (with full no hassle refund - thank you) and then rebooking for this holiday.

Fantastic location, close to the beach, cafes and shops.
Home from home, very comfortable and well equipped.
We were a party of 7 including a 9 and 3 year old, along with a 9 month old. There were plenty of games to entertain the older children and travel cot and high chair were provided for the baby.

Second visit to Rhosneigr in the last 3 months and whilst this time of the year things are a bit quiet it's a great place to visit to relax and chill. We have recently returned from a wonderful week's stay in this fabulous property. It totally exceeded all of our expectations.
The house is large, roomy and in the perfect location on The High Street of Rhosneigr The owners have furnished and decorated the villa to the highest of standards and no expense has been spared. We slept on beautiful hotel quality beds and woke up to amazing sea views. I loved the little extras like the "emergency wine" and the games room in the garage. We met the neighbours on both sides and became great friends! A few steps away there was an excellent fish and chip shop, several lovely restaurants and handy convenience store. This was very welcome after a long drive to get there. This was our first time in Rhosneigr but we are definitely coming back and would love to stay in Maelog Villa again. I would love to bring more family members next time as it would comfortably accommodate all eight of us. Thank you for providing the perfect setting for a much needed week of R and R.

Eight of us and two dogs had a fabulous time at Maelog Villa. The house was so well stocked and furnished it was more like a private home rather than a holiday let! We had a really comfortable week - great kitchen - lovely lounge and fab beds with very good quality linen. The location was superb, right on the main street with it's shops and restaurants and 2 mins from the beach - the rear courtyard garden was also lovely - very quiet and a decent sun trap in the afternoon!
This was our third property rented from Anglesey holiday lettings - and probably the best yet - highly recommended!

We have rented this property several times and again it did not disappoint. Stunning house in an excellent location. This time we had a small issue with the washing machine not spinning but the maintenance person was round within minutes of letting them know and fixed it straight away. We had a great time at Maelog Villa. The house is lovely. It has everything you could possibly need for a great stay. It's in the perfect position in Rhosneigr. We even got lucky with the weather - only one rainy day in the week.

Having been visiting Rhosneigr all my life on family holidays, when looking for somewhere to spend time away with girlfriends it was my first choice,
Maelog Villa was perfect in every way. There were 5 of us( 2 friends had to cancel at the last minute due to Storm Callum). Plenty of space, extremely comfortable beds, beautiful decor throughout.
We were able to go out walking, in the wind and rain knowing we had a haven to return to. Hot showers, cosy sitting room,
Would definitely recommend Maelog Villa for an out of season visit.

A most beautiful house located in a perfect location on the high street. Close to all that you need and more. Gorgeous beaches for a gentle walk or for a dip in the ocean to cool off, amazing eateries, local grocery stores, and gift shops all within a few minutes walk. Maelog Villa is a beautiful house with period features: high ceilings, wooden floors, original fireplaces in the main bedrooms, but with mod-cons. A perfect combination This large home with stunning décor is ideal for couples, groups or families as it is large and spacey, has an outside area for relaxing or for a BBQ or two. If you fancy a little entertainment then look no further as there is a double garage at the back that houses a table tennis table, table football and a darts board. Everything you could wish for.
This villa has it all and we would definitely recommend it and will stay again.

A family celebration of 6 adults and 2 children was made extra special with our stay in your beautiful property. We were all blown away with the style and quality of everything. I want to live there. We were so lucky with the weather so we could make good use of the outside space and the beach is just a stroll away. Shops and restaurants on the doorstep. Perfect.

Maelog Villa is a very clean and comfortable house which has been furnished and decorated tastefully. The garden furniture is super as it is in a suntrap. The sea view from the bedrooms is spectacular and very restful. We would like to come again.

Maelog villa was everything we had hoped for. All the rooms were spacious, clean and had everything that we wanted. The twin bedroom with TV and x box was ideal for the boys along with the games room in th garage and the sea view from the two front bedrooms was a bonus.

We visited Maelog villa for a family weekend away, the house was fantastic with all the essentials we needed and more. Situated right in the heart of the village, location is excellent. We will definitely be back!

A beautiful home in the centre of Rhosneigr. We loved the individualism and design details. The teenagers enjoyed the games room and we all enjoyed the sea views, caught from different locations around the house.

Spacious, light and airy house, beautifully decorated with lots of thoughtful extra touches (e.g. the Emergency Wine rack, use and replace). Wonderful views from the front bedrooms. Large yard at back with excellent furniture and built in bbq, Sun trap. Great extra facilities in the large double garage/pool and table tennis room complete with drinks fridge. Highly recommended!!

Great house, very well equipped and in a great location. Really enjoyed everything about the property. The only thing lacking was a hair dryer. Thanks for an excellent stay!
