No better location for us - perfect beach access when taking dogs in warmer weather.
Bed relatively comfortable
My personal preference is less bushes in the garden as the dogs kept trying to disappear in them all the time and outside light perhaps a good idea in darker the evenings but on the whole we had a great stay here and enjoyed it.

Marimar is located close to the beach, is spacious having 3 bedrooms, decent size lounge and kitchen which is fully equipped with the exception of a Tumble Dryer, although there is a nice enclosed and private garden with a line and pegs. Garden furniture is provided also. Drive for parking is invaluable as it can get very congested on the road. A nice place to stay.

The location near the beach couldn't have been better. The property was very clean..however, it is very tired. It really needs refurbishing to bring it to the standard expected of the price. The twin room smells of damp. The built in wardrobes smell of age. We were sadly disappointed. We've had much better in the local area.

The house is comfortable and well-furnished and the quality of bedding and towels is excellent. Its location close to the beach is wonderful. I was a little disappointed to find the curtains in one bedroom hanging off the rails and felt it should have been remedied before I arrived. I also felt it would have been better to have matching crockery rather than a pile of mis-matched plates.
It is a pity that there is no picture of the garden on the website as the garden is a lovely place to relax.

We had a fabulous stay at Marimar. The location was brilliant (approx. 100 yards from the beach) and the property was extremely clean.

We stayed over Easter weekend as a family of 5 plus a dog - we found the property to be everything we needed and more. The location is spot on, literally 1 min walk to the beach and 4 mins to the high street which is full of shops, cafes and restaurants - very well kept seaside village. We will be back! Thank you.

Fabulous location. Nice quiet road but right by the centre of Rhosneigr and the beach. Nice to have a little garden. The lounge has a fab view of the beach from the dining table

We had an amazing stay at Marimar. The cottage is in a perfect location for access to the beach and also the shops and pubs of Rhosneigr.
When I had a problem getting the induction hob to work I phoned the out of hours number for Anglesey Holiday Lettings and they phoned me straight back. Also having an App with all information about the cottage was great.

Great spot for the beach. Very dog friendly accommodation. Well equipped bungalow with very good use of space. Great to have key access to the garage as although I didn't bring a bike this time, it's useful to have secure outside storage.

Beach is heavily used by kite surfers, windsurfers and wingfoilers who use the street as a car park. From early morning, the view of sea from the lounge is gradually obscured by camper vans and middle aged men (and occasional woman) stripping off their wetsuits as day goes on. This might bother or entertain depending on your tastes.

Being able to see the sea from the living room window was amazing. And the enclosed garden was a lovely surprise and dog friendly.
The only down was that the internet WiFi reception anywhere outside the living room is poor to nonexistent so it needs a booster.
Overall we enjoyed our stay so much, that we booked again for 2024.

Great location to watch the kite surfers from the lounge. Some areas looked a bit tired inside eg radiators rusty in hall and bathroom.
Grass in back garden would have been good if cut when trying to collect dog poo. Otherwise it securely contained dogs, very enclosed but more likely to sit in front garden or lounge for the seafront views. Lovely beach to walk dogs when tide out.
Double bed a bit uncomfortable and creaky.

Another brilliant time in Rhosneigr staying in this fantastic property. With excellent accommodation, an idyllic garden and wonderful views what more can anybody want from any accommodation. Can not recommend what a fabulous property Marimar is and all tha it offers.

This house is in a great location and we would return. These points are raised to help the owners put a polish on the house and to bring it up to the standard of other Anglesey Holiday Lettings properties that we have stayed in.
The house looks tired in parts, mainly due to chipped paintwork, e.g skirting boards etc but esp. on the radiators which also have some rust stains.
The bathroom door has a bit missing on the bottom. The toilet seat lurches to left or right alarmingly when sat upon and needs fixing. The door of the twin bedded room sticks and needs planing - during the night when it must be wrenched open and the house is quiet - it makes a loud noise and 'disturbs the peace". The brass effect door handles throughout are worn and look bad. Why not change to chrome ones for a quick update? Ditto the very old fashioned wall lights in the lounge? The two cream dining chairs - their seats collapse as one sits down and are therefore uncomfortable. Perhaps paint the drop leaf table in lounge in a chalky white /pale grey paint to give a more contemporary beachy feeling and fit with the rest of the room? Please buy a new non stick frying pan as the current one is unusable. Some instructions for using the hob would be really helpful too. We had to put heating on for 30 mins one evening ( I know! ) - and it works great - very fast to heat up. Kitchen was well equipped. And .... why not include photos of the lovely secluded garden in your advertising that we were delighted to find upon our arrival. And if ever the owner should decide to convert the space just off the kitchen to a shower room/w.c. then that would really enhance this property! Hope all these points are taken in the constructive spirit that they are intended. This is a lovely house in a great location and we'd return in the future most likely. We enjoyed our stay there.

Had everything you need for a relaxing break. Very close to the beach. Property does need abit of paint work but nothing major and doesnt take away how lovely the bungalow is. Great view of the sea from the dining table. Weather was fabulous (May 2023). Loved hearing and watching the military planes take off and fly around. Would definitely go back to this bungalow.

Good sized bungalow. Very spacious and comfortable.
A little dated in decor but absolutely fine. Garden needs cutting back and would be twice the size. Very dog friendly and safe
Big kitchen and lounge with v family friendly dining with magnificent views. Would easily take large family. TV needs moving as behind door
Fantastic location and great cafe 1 min away.

Having read other reviews of Marimar there is not much I can add, location excellent but property tired. Bedrooms very comfortable and linen good. Unfortunately the bathroom and kitchen not appealing as felt cold and uninviting although kitchen well equipped. Enclosed garden good.

Miramar is a comfortable, homely bungalow situated in the most perfect location, literally a 30 second walk to the beach.
It is a little dated, but we enjoyed our stay. It’s well equipped with everything you could need and parking for two cars a bonus.

It's our second time at this bungalow and it felt like coming home. We love the fact you can sit and eat your breakfast whilst looking at the sea (and kite surfers if lucky). It's ideal for those with limited mobility who want to watch the world go by without actually going out. If you do want to go out there are lots of great places within walking distance to eat and drink. Mezze 40 (for tapas) and Starvation (for cocktails) were our favourites this time.

As mentioned in previous reviews, it is a little dated but has everything you could want, is very comfortable and that, we think, is reflected in the price. We had a slight technical issue with the TV whilst we were there and it was sorted very promptly. The garden is fully enclosed which is ideal for those with dogs and is a proper sun trap if the weather is nice.

Can't wait to book a short break again!

Short 4 night break in January. Lovely warm and cosy bungalow located within walking distance of beach and centre literally a 2 min walk.
We took our two dogs and appreciated the small enclosed secure garden at the back.
Enough room on the drive for two cars and plenty of off road parking aswell.
Property a little dated but very clean and comfortable.
Would recommend and would return.

All you could want from a Beach holiday accommodation. Superb location and great sea views from the dining table. Good secure well kept garden at the back for our dog, All in All couldn't be better. Will definitely be looking to return !!

We stayed for 4 days and everything was very clean, tidy etc. The location was perfect as only walking distance to the beach.
Bungalow was just the right size for us all.

Very small points for next time home owner has a reshuffle; settee a bit low for older people and dining table a bit big for the room, not much space to manoeuvre.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marimar. This is the third property we have rented from this company in the last 17 months . Properties are always well prepared ready for our arrival.
Our only comment was that there was no recycling.’bin’ available for our use.

Location,location that's all you need to know!!! So near the dog friendly beach and and plenty of sporting activities to watch-even if you don't want to take part.
The accommodation is comfortable with lovely clean bed linnen and is very well equipped.
Just one comment (not a complaint-because we did eat them !!) the use by date on the welcome biscuits was about 6 weeks out of date so may be worth just checking them and possibly some more up to date books and games.
We will book again for next year.

A nice property perfect for the family and beach. Access can be tricky at times due to surfers arriving in large camper vans, but this isn’t a drawback as the surfers add to an excellent beach experience. Rhosneigr an excellent location with lots to offer in “normal” times.

Once again we stayed in this lovely located bungalow. The sea views are delightful (even the mist) and the distance to the beach is ideal. The property was very clean as always ( felt very safe) and clean bedding was exchanged half way through the two weeks exactly as arranged and on time. I have always found the team very efficient. As always a very well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and useful having storage in the garage for two bikes. Rhosneigr was not too busy and felt safe. It was sad not to be able to enjoy its full delights but had a very nice takeout from Sullivans, chips from the chip shop and tasty baguettes and ice cream from Chaplins. The business' in Rhosneigr are working hard and I wish them all the best. Gecko were really helpful when we were buying crocs and a wetsuit for my grand daughter. Excellent social distancing rules in shops. Had deliveries from Tesco for food so worked well. Corner shop useful for bits. As always did not want to leave. Sunsets on the beach are a delight especially with a drink in hand. Very impressed with attitude of letting agency to Covid (felt safe) and I have already booked with them again for next year. .

Nice & bright. Excellent location. Beds really comfy. Good, well fitted kitchen.
Brill shower.
Had to leave 3 days early, which was a shame, but hope to return one day, god willing.

The accommodation was a stones throw from the beach and offered great views of the breaking waves . The accommodation met all our needs and was well furnished .
My only critisism would be that the curtains in the front room need some attention . They are far to long and the curtain tracks do not operate very well.
All in all another wonderful weekend provided by Rhosneiger lettings .

Location is second to none, the property itself is in need of a little updating but don’t let this fool you it’s kept nice and clean and well maintained, since the last time we visited not much had changed, it’s like home from home or us. I am sure we will be back as we love the place so Marimar be ready.

Everything we needed was provided at Marimar, comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen all within a stones throw from the beautiful beach, which with two young children was a winner for us.

Stayed in this bungalow for two weeks end of July beginning Aug. We had our two and a half year old granddaughter with us and it was ideal for her. So close to the beach which meant we could nip back easily. Furnished well and very comfy beds. Kitchen provided a fridge, freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher and plenty crockery etc. Bathroom fine. Good shower over bath and plenty of hot water. Lovely view of beach from front windows and dining table.(Houses are staggered so that you can see the sea) Beds changed and new towels provided halfway through. Wifi worked ok although a little slow. So convenient for town which has many facilities and a big Tesco Extra superstore down the A55 at Holyhead a short drive away. Management team have always been very helpful although did not need them this year. Weather was reasonably kind to us so we had quite a few days on the beach as well as going to Anglesey Sea Zoo, Pilas Butterfly, Model village and Gypsy Wood. It was nice at the end of a day out being able to go down to the beach to explore rock pools. Enjoyed it that much already booked again for next year.

Only concern is bathroom.....get in the shower with care, if you put shower on and open door to get in water is channeled onto the floor... really great house, beds are soooooo comfy tank you

This was our second visit to Marimar within the last 2 months, absolutely stunning location, the beach is on your doorstep and local restaurants a few minutes stroll. Excellent value for money! As usual Jamie and team go above and beyond - great customer service.

We stayed for 3 nights over the weekend - the property was clean and presentable - there was a wecome pack and very close to the beech - overall we had a very nice break.

However we had problems getting the shower hot and the property could have had a name sign on the front as we had Marimar but no house number. ( sat nav took us to the next street). small issues but thought it worth feeding back

Lovely cosy house right next to the beach. Bedrooms really comfortable, great kitchen and appliances, fantastic view of the sea. We had a fab time being within walking distance of the chipshop and restaurants. Especially enjoyed the new Sandy Mount House.
