We stayed at Monfa for a week recently and we didn’t want to come home! The property was so clean and smelled like bleach when we got there which was reassuring. We felt at home as soon as we unpacked. There was a lovely little surprise welcome pack for when we arrived and the owner of the property who lives next door came round to introduce himself and offer help if we needed it. The property is located on the A5 so quite a busy road but you can’t hear the traffic from inside. The property is the perfect base for exploring Anglesey as it doesn’t take long to get anywhere on the island from it. We would definitely recommend Monfa to friends and family and are already looking at dates for when we can go back!

Four single adults and a pooch stayed here. The pictures and description on the website matched the reality.
It was a wonderful property to stay in.
The property was spotlessly clean. The shower in the en suite was particularly fantastic as was the bath in the main bathroom. The beds were very comfortable too.
The dining area and kitchen were a great place to eat and relax. There was ample (individual) freezer and fridge space.
Outside it was pleasant to sit and relax. Sometimes we were scrutinised by the cows over the fence! The dog was able to run around to her heart's content.
This is well worth a stay. You are 20 minutes tops from a lovely beach- Aberffraw. This is novel if you are a townie like me. It is a great base for exploring Anglesey.
There was a welcome welcome pack too

WOW property is stunning, spotlessly clean, super modern and so comfortable, we wanted to move in. The beds are super comfy had the bestest nights sleep. It is a lovely countryside location, where you are surrounded by fields, my daughter loved watching the sheep and cows running around at night. It is the ideal location for touring around Anglesey, but you will need a car to get to the nearest shop. There is a lovely pub just down the road, food is excellent home cooking, but you need to reserve a table as gets busy. Just a note Monfa is on a busy main road, but you cant hear anything inside property so doesnt affect your stay. The owner lives next door and he is so helpful, cant thank him enough for his assistance when our car boot broke. I cannot recommend this beautiful property enough, it is gorg, we didnt want to leave. Thankyou for our fantastic stay and lovely welcome pack x

We had the best time in Anglesey, so much to do and a perfect location to stay.
We had everything we could have wished for and more. Our boys loved that they had plenty of space to run around and a tv in every bedroom!
Beautiful place, very cosy and loved the decor.
Would love to come and stay again soon as we didn’t finish exploring.

What a fantastic cottage - really top quality. We had our dog with us and the enclosed garden was super, made it easy. We got out & about every day, needed the car but that was expected as we wanted to visit lots of spaces.
Very lovely cottage - can’t fault it and the welcome pack left for us was a lovely surprise.

Everything about this property is superb.
We go on many short breaks and this is probably the best one we have stayed in.
Everything is spotlessly clean, lovely big kitchen and dining area with all the things you need for dining in
A massive TV and comfy leather sofa in the lounge. There's a TV in the kitchen and in each bedroom as well.
The bedrooms are very comfy and the bed we had the mattress was so good i had the best sleep for years.
So much so that when we got home I ordered exactly the same mattress!
Lovely ensuite to it as well, great shower.
The host lives next door and is very friendly, came round to make sure everything was ok and if we wanted anything to just let him know.
It's location is handy for lots of activities nearby and there's a great pub less than a mile away.
We had a faultless stay and will definitely be returning to Monfa soon.

We had a fabulous time staying at Monfa over New Years with friends. It is so beautifully decorated and has everything you need. There was even a Christmas tree! There was plenty of space and seating for 6 people in the communal areas.
The location is fantastic - really central so it doesn't take long to get to any of the beaches to explore. We had our dog with us and there was a footpath just down the road to walk him in the mornings.
Anglesey was beautiful, we will be back and would love to stay at Monfa again!

On arrival we were very pleasantly surprised at the finish of the bungalow and it's surroundings. This continued inside where we found a very well equipped kitchen and good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds. There are televisions in the bedrooms, kitchen and lounge and has obviously been well thought out for the comfort of guests.
The property is located directly on the A5 which was the main route for traffic heading for Holyhead. There is now a new dual carriageway, the A55, that takes most of this traffic away and does not affect Monfa. However, there is some traffic noise at certain times of the day but it tends to be isolated vehicles rather than a constant flow and didn't cause us any discomfort.
The upside of the location is that it is an ideal base from which to travel to almost any destination on Anglesey. The only slight downside is that the property is enclosed by a wall and very nice gate and there is just enough room to stop in the entrance to open and close the gate when entering or leaving. We didn't find this to be a great problem but some people may find it worrying. As I said earlier, the traffic is not heavy or continuous.

We had a lovely welcome with the owner very keen to show us round the property. The property itself was great and of high quality. There was lots of space and the lounge was a lovely relaxing space. As the property was inland we did have to travel however nowhere we wanted to go was more than 20min away, and gave us chance to explore other parts of the island. Our sons loved the bunk rooms with own TV and we enjoyed the amazing shower in the ensuite. A very enjoyable stay.
