Just come back from a week at Pen Y Bryn, which was a lovely modern home with great views of the beach from the front of the house. In an excellent position, minutes from the village centre and the beach. We only used downstairs as there was only the 2 of us and the dogs. Beautiful large bathroom downstairs, lots of room in the bedroom, although we did find the beds quite soft for our liking, which is personal choice. The lounge is comfortable and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need and more besides. Sandy Mount House is a lovely place to eat. Great walks from the door. Would recommend this property and Anglesey Holiday Lettings.

Stayed at this lovely property for a week from the 15th June. Felt like home from home , the house was very spacious, clean and had everything you needed. Location was fantastic close to the bars and restaurants and beach and a great base if you wanted to visit other places.

Pen y Bryn is in a good position not far from the beach and village There are lovely views from the front of the property of the sea and beach
It is well equipped in the kitchen for more than 6 people and there is a large dining table in the lounge with 8 chairs As my son was staying in the next road it was easy for us all of us to sit around the table for some meals
There is garden seating at the front and rear which would be lovely on a warm evening but unfoirtunately we were not blessed with warm evenings
it seems that the housekeeper had taken ill and had not contacted the office to tell them that the property had not been cleaned which was a disappointing on our arrival However a call to the office was madeand within 10 miutes other housekeepers arrived to clean the property and change beds etc leaving it spotless
Perhaps a small point but the kitchen cupboards were so full there was little room in the kitchen to store food

Another lovely week in Rhosneigr (our Happy place!) Pen y Bryn is perfectly located to watch sunsets and the house has such a calm aura so you can't help but relax. Neighbours all lovely and welcoming too. So many lovely places in Rhosneigr and this is one of our favourite places ❤️

ANGLESEY HOLIDAY LETTINGS are a first class 5 star company to deal with I have used them since 2017 and holiday 3/4 times a year all has been good from the owner Jamie and the team you can book with confidence knowing you are getting the best in service and I did when I stayed at PEN Y BRYN the property was faultless ticked all the boxes 5 stars on all levels from cleanliness comfort and location with wonderful sun sets from the property it could not get any better it was perfect

Overall the cottage we stayed in was lovely the only issue we had was the cooker wasn’t working so on our first night we had to eat out. I spoke to Anglesey holiday lettings the following day, they were aware of the issue and said the owner was looking at having it repaired. We did manage to get some parts of the cooker working once we had access to the manual, most of the numbers and symbols were missing from the dials so it was difficult to read.

Lovely house, plenty of room for a family of 4 with a small dog. Rhosneigr is our favourite place to stay, this house is a great location to walk to all the amenities (and you can see the sea).
The only down side was the garage was advertised as storage but it actually had a car in it so no room to store bikes, paddle boards etc which is what we had planned. Also, we were told on arrival that one of the knobs on the oven didn’t work so to switch on by the wall, the reality was all of the knobs were faulty and switching it on at the wall meant you couldn’t control the temperature (burnt pizza’s aren’t that nice ). Overall, a lovely place to stay, beautiful decor and furnishings , made for a great mini break. We would definitely use Anglesey Holiday Lettings again.

We loved this bungalow. Great location. Easy walk to beach. Lovely living space. Well equipped kitchen. Very comfy beds. Great place to relax.
We had our dogs with us so the gate was brilliant to keep them in and safe.
There was a storm on NYE and the power went off. We rang the emergency number and the owner was with us within 5 minutes. Checked we OK and power back on via power company, not owners fault at all.
Just brilliant service.

A great week in a lovely house. Grandparents, parents and 7year old and almost 2 year old had great time. House near to village centre and walking distance to both beaches. Very well equipped and good sea views. Would recommend. Second time using Anglesey holiday lettings, would definitely use them again.

About my seventh visit to the beautiful village of Rhosenigr and Pen Y Bryn certainly did not fail to impress. The front decked area was the perfect place to breakfast to watch the sun rise and to chill with a glass of wine in the evening watching the sun set into the spectacular sea view. Short stroll to the beach and village shops, quiet location, suberb facilities and well equipped bungalow, will definitely be returning.

I have been to Anglesey a few times before so I knew it's a lovely place to visit. This time we stayed 3 nights at Pen Y Bryn. As soon as we walked into the property we were all very pleased with the cleanliness and look. Almost everything you need is provided (obviously apart from food) but you have the option to order a food hamper when booking the stay. We didn’t as we were planning on eating out every day. Unfortunately not every place is open each day during the week so there were one or two places we couldn’t try. One day we drove about 20 minutes into Holyhead to a pub but there’s also a few supermarkets there if you need to do a good shop. There is a OneStop near the property so most things can be picked up here anyway.
The only things we needed to buy for the property was washing powder. Being self catering we had tea and coffee with us anyway.
My children slept well every night which was great but I struggled. I struggle to sleep anywhere other than my own bed but I think I should have taken my own pillows as the ones provided are a bit thin for my liking. But that’s just my personal preference.
You are never disturbed and you are free to come and go as you please. It was very peaceful at night. You are near an RAF airfield and planes are flying overhead during the day but not at night.
You’re very close to a beach and there are many more beautiful beaches within a short distance. It is quite windy here so if you plan on relaxing on the beach then you will have to invest in a wind-break which can be purchased from the OneStop or the Surf Shack (I think) shop. There’s other places that sell nets and things too.
It was forecast rain for our whole stay but we only seemed to get heavy downpours during the evening and through the night. During the day was dry and warm and good spells of sunshine so don’t take the forecast too seriously.
If we came back to Anglesey again for more than a day then I would be happy staying at Pen Y Bryn. Very pleased. Thank you.

The property was in a great location and of a good standard, there were a few maintenance issues that were addressed promptly.
The only negative comment I have is one that has been raised previously, the twin room should be upstairs and having stayed at the property I can now see that it could be easily moved. We had 2 young children with us and I felt a little uneasy that they were not sleeping on the same floor as us but the main issue was once they they first went to bed the noise from the TV or when we used the kitchen did disturb them.
Other than this it is a very comfortable and spacious property.

Excellent clean bungalow with all the amenities . Ideal downstairs bedroom with easy access to the bathroom for elderly relatives. Nice comfy sofas and large dining table with plenty of space for 6. Lovely comfy beds

Nice decked area at the front with lovely beach and sea views / sunsets amazing
3 generations and a doggie all enjoyed our stay ! The owner came and said hello , who lives accross the road which was nice of him.
Just a note for dog owners - there are no outside enclosed areas so if they are escape artists like mine you need to have a long tie out lead , which wasn’t a problem!
Well there is a gate on the drive but low walls on neighbouring properties so larger dogs could easily jump over !
I think if the back of the property could be enclosed , I think it was previously , would be helpful for dog owners .

Family of six including 2 dogs and the elderly in laws. Property was ideal 3mins walk to the local fantastic beach and to the village centre; shops; pubs; chippy; restaurants. Everything was spotless and provided within the accommodation and the only suggestion for the owner and it is a very very minor observation is to invest in some more firmer pillows. We loved our stay, especially the dogs on the beach, loved the property. It was our second time in Rhosneigr, our fav' on the island, we will be back to Pen Y Bryn.

Will definitely stay there again. Refurbished home, good layout where use of space has been well thought out. Close to local amenities, parking for two cars in the drive yet we still had a lovely view of the sunset from the front deck.

We’ve just returned from a week at Pen y Bryn. The house was immaculately clean and well-equipped, the beds and sofas are obviously new and really comfortable. Great location too - quiet but convenient for the beach and all facilities. We enjoyed sitting out on the front decking and watching the waves at Crigyll beach. As others have noted, the garden walls aren’t very high in places, so not 100% dog-proof, but we knew about that beforehand and were prepared so it wasn’t a problem for us. Would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Our 2nd stay in this lovely bungalow and won't be our last! Many improvements from our previous stay including a complete interior redecoration, new sofas, mattresses (our only previous gripe) and carpets. Perfect for our extended family (6 adults 2 babies) long weekend break.

We had a fabulous stay at PenYBryn enjoying a glass or two of wine sitting on the decking looking at the lovely sea view and beautiful sunsets.
Inside the property was well furnished with good quality furniture. The on site guest book had complaints about the bed mattresses being uncomfortable but we didn’t find that at all. We would have preferred one of the beds to be king size and felt that it could easily be accommodated in the ground floor bedroom This would also allow the single beds to be upstairs so children could be near to adults. I would also suggest that the small rugs in the ground floor bedroom are either removed or some sort of non slip is required as they were particularly slippy on the wood floor - we easily folded them up out of the way.
The kitchen was very well equipped but lacking in storage space as cupboards were full of all the pots and pans, it didn’t cause us a big issue though as we mainly ate out and used the full size fridge freezer. The small wine fridge and Nespresso machine were a bonus!
The ground floor bathroom was very spacious with a decent size bath and a large walk in shower. The small hand shower on the bath didn’t work and the bathroom lock was a bit dodgy but we did report these things to Anglesey holiday lettings so hopefully they will be resolved.
The upstairs shower room was compact but well equipped.
The lounge was comfortable with new sofas and a large dining table. It would be snug for 6 people to relax in the lounge but who wants to be indoors at such a beautiful location. It was just a few minutes walk turning right at the end of the road to Porth Crigyll beach, and turning left at the end of the road walking just a few minutes more brings you into the village centre with the cafes, restaurants, shops and main beach area.
On the whole the property was well appointed, well furnished and we felt very much at home and look forward to returning.

We have just had a fantastic long weekend break in Rhosneigr. Pen Y Bryn was so comfortable and relaxing. Beautifully clean, extremely well-equipped, very comfy beds, excellent location. Would highly recommend.

Have used Anglesey Holiday Lettings about six or seven times now and have always been very impressed with their service. On returning from Anglesey last weekend I booked a summer break with them!!

Very welcoming cottage, plenty of space for 3 cars.
Cottage was clean and well furnished and there was nothing that hadn’t been thought of.

Everything you could need , great layout if the house with downstairs bathroom and bedroom as well as upstairs bedrooms and another bathroom

Excellent home from home within easy reach of the beach and shops . Nice enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs and had far reaching sea views. The kitchen and utility room was very well equipped and the beds comfortabl. We liked it so much we are returning for another week within the month ! We were are group of 3 adults, 2 17yr old boys and 1 dog and the rooms were very spacious and had all the equipment necessary for a great holiday. We particularly loved the kayaks, board games and Xbox.
The garden and furniture was great to sit out and have a nice G&T, or read a book and you could sit out at the front of the house or the back.
We had 3 cars and they fitted easily on the large drive.
We have a large dog, so the only thing is the low garden wall, but when we were in the garden we kept the dog on a long lead so this was not an issue for us.
The location of the house was perfect for the beaches and the town centre with restaurants; shops; takeaways; pubs.
I definitely recommend Pen Y Bryn and would certainly return for another holiday.

This was our 3rd stay at Pen Y Bryn and it didn’t disappoint. We love the house, great location and actually had good weather. Rhosneigr is a great place for a holiday with plenty of choices for meals out, take always and bars to drink in. Pen Y Bryn was a delight as usual- the sunsets on the sea can be viewed whilst relaxing in the spacious comfortable lounge or even better on the front decking. This property is deceptive- extremely spacious & luxurious inside, very well designed & laid out. The kitchen has high specification everything, nice touches like the wine cooler fridge. My Brother joined us for his 1st stay in Anglesey, he was so impressed with the property, no doubt he will be returning again soon.

Had a lovely stay at Pen Y Bryn, weather was very kind all week. The property is very well equipped. We were a family of 3 but this property would have easily accommodated another couple. My only complaint would be the garden is not secure for a dog larger than a terrier size due to the wall at the side of the front decking. A dog could scale it with ease into next door's garden! Luckily after reading previous reviews I took a long lead and tethered our Labrador if we were sat out. The back garden is a real suntrap and although it didn't have the views like at the front, it was very private. We visited the Oyster Catcher (who now accept dogs in the upstairs restaurant), Surf Shack Cafe for breakfast, Scarletts, Aydins and the White Eagle at Rhoscolyn. Located on a quiet, mainly residential street and only 5 minutes walk to the beach, I would have no hesitation in booking this lovely property

We had a lovely week in this accommodation with our dog. The house itself was very clean and comfortable and the experience was very much ‘home from home’. The kitchen has every possible amenity from dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, oven and full size fridge freezer. The weather was quite kind and the views to the beach are exceptional. Would highly recommend this home and wouldn’t hesitate to book another week here.

Pen y bryn provided a welcome break after a long hard lockdown.The cottage was ideally located in a quiet road minutes from the beach and centre of the village.My daughter and her husband were able to have whole of the top floor and own bathroom with their 3 year old daughter in next room.We had downstairs twin with wonderful walk in shower.The tv was smart tv so we were able to watch Netflix and Prime.The bungalow was very well equipped plenty of glasses and crockery.We especially liked huge cooker and wine cooler.There is a seated area with new furniture in a small garden at back but we sat out in front and enjoyed the views when weather allowed.Lovely to sit on terrace at the Oyster Catcher on the first day of opening.A few places were still closed or providing take away so we would like to come back when restrictions are lifted.I fully recommend Pen y bryn.Superb views!
N.B.
My daughter recommends Gypsy Wood on the mainland for 3 year olds.

This is our third stay in Pen Y Bryn. Accommodation is very well equipped to a very high standard and offers absolutely everything you need to enjoy a perfect holiday.
Lovely views of the bay from the lounge and front garden, situated on a very quiet avenue and also close to all village amenities with a very short walk to the beach.
Car parking on private gated driveway.
We shall certainly be returning for our fourth visit next year.

Anglesey Holiday Lettings have been extremely helpful and accommodating during the uncertainties of the coronavirus epidemic, allowing us to transfer our May booking to August to an excellent property in the same area of Rhosneigr. The three generations of family found all they needed in the property, which was well within easy reach of the beach and local amenities. We have booked previous holidays with this company and wouldn't hesitate to book another. (we have in fact already booked for October!).

We have holidayed in Rhosneigr for the last couple of years, but this was our first time staying at Pen Y Bryn, & we were really impressed.
The property was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and very well equipped. Our kids were particularly delighted with the X-Box and the Kayaks, that were available to use, and there was even a beautiful vase of fresh flowers on the dining table, which I thought was a lovely touch. All the rooms were decorated to a high standard and the bathrooms and kitchen seemed to be newly fitted.
The property benefits from fantastic sea views, and sitting on the deck, at the front of the house, watching the sunset, was a particular highlight of our holiday.
I really only have good things to say, and hope to book again for next Summer, but stay for two weeks, rather than one.
Customer service from Angelsey Holiday Lettings was also excellent. The property we had originally booked cancelled our reservation and they quickly found us several alternatives, of which this was the best. Actually feel very fortunate that we have discovered this place, as it was perfect for our family.

We had a really lovely holiday, the house is in a great location for access to everything in Neigr, having access to the Kayaks was brilliant, we had so much fun with these. We were slightly nervous about coming to another house due to COVID-19 but the house was spotless including all the bedding and towels etc. Only thing to consider would be additional chairs for the outside table at the back so 6 people can sit comfortably around the table and some comfy outside chairs for the front deck where the views are so stunning would be a great addition.
We would def book this house again, thank you.

Internally the property was of a good standard, excellent location, close to all the amenities (albeit that at this time not everything was open due Covid 19). We had everything we needed for our stay, the kitchen equipment was very good. Especially loved the fabulous downstairs bathroom.

We booked last minute for a week's stay, Pen Y Bryn was a lovely house to spend time in, clean, comfortable, warm with all the home comforts that you need to make for a great holiday. It's in a really good position in the village, short walk to the beach and amenities of Rhosneigr, the added bonus of a drive for the car was good and I renamed the utility room to the boot room, which was ideal for all our coats, boots and walking paraphernalia and kept the sand from the beach walks in one place.

Lovely holiday home let down slightly with having no spare toilet paper or black bin bags
Didn’t know which recycle boxes were for which waste,a laminated instructions in utility room on wall would help.
Double mattress in front bedroom didn’t have much support.
The secure garden was a bonus if you have pets or small children and would recommend pen y Bryn

We really enjoyed the comforts of Pen-y-Bryn. Wonderfully located, and with very thoughtful touches such as the useful binoculars and (believe it or not) bedside lamps. It's surprising how many places don't have them!

The seating area outside was a lovely sun trap and private, with a handy washing line and pegs.

We only used the downstairs single beds as there was only the two of us, but they were quite comfortable.

Plenty of lovely storage everywhere in Pen-y-Bryn and a good supply of games and books. As the weather was so perfect during our week, we spend more time out of the bungalow than in it so no books read or games played.

This was our second stay in Pen Y Bryn and once again we were certainly not disappointed. Lovely spacious and very well equipped house. Beautiful view of the beach from the lounge and the sunsets were gorgeous, viewed each evening from the comfort of the front garden.
A welcome addition this year was the new large table and very comfortable chairs ( 6 ) in the back garden. We had lovely weather and used the garden on our return from our tours around the area. The garden is a well sheltered sun trap and still warm early evening. The house is situated on a residential street which is always very quiet.
Pen Y Bryn will easily accommodate six with more than enough cutlery, crockery etc. etc. Two bathrooms three bedrooms, very large kitchen, two TVs, x box and games if raining. Internet reception excellent. We can highly recommend this house and will be returning as so very well situated for all local Rhosneigr amenities and touring further afield. We also found the comprehensive places of interest book very helpful.

An excellent house in a great position near the centre of Rhosneigr. During the week we travelled to Holyhead and down to Beaumaris but you could have a good time in Rhosneigr without a car. The two beaches are just right for walking (especially with dogs) and there are plenty of places to eat. Obviously the good weather helped!
The garden was not quite as secure for our dogs as we were led to believe as the gate had wide bars but this was not a problem.

We really enjoyed our stay in the great house. We loved the modern décor, the well equipped kitchen and convenient location. Unfortunately, after the heatwave earlier on in the summer, the weather was mixed, but this didn't stop my teenage daughter and her friend surfing in the sea and plenty of lovely beach walks with the dog. Execptional house in a near perfect location. This house is really comfy and feels like home the minut you walk in.
Sitting on the terras in front of the house watching the sun disappear behind Holyhead mountain was amazing every night.
Our dog felt most welkom and didn't want to leave the beach at all.

This is the third property we have rented in Rhosneigr and is by far the best location, with fantastic views towards the beach. The house was very well equipped and is actually larger than it appears from the outside. Plenty of outdoor areas to sit in the sun which we were lucky to have the whole week!

There was an offer when booking this property of free afternoon tea for two at Angelsey Golf Club (within walking distance of Pen Y Bryn), which we booked and glad we did, it was probably the best afternoon tea we had ever experienced. The selection of sandwiches, home made cakes, small pastries and mini meringues was of the the highest quality, all made by Ann, an accomplished Cordon Bleu cook. I would highly recommend you visit the Golf Club (even without the free offer!!). We couldn't finish everything, but were given a doggy bag to take back to the house.

I would also recommend Rhosneigr Holiday Lettings, the booking system is very easy and they also offer a discount for returning customers!

All in all we had a fantastic holiday and will return again to Rhosneigr.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. Very clean and comfortable.
Good position for the beach and few shops.
Seating on the front patio would have been a bonus.
Would stay here again.

We were so impressed with our weeks stay in Pen Y Bryn that we are already making plans to book the house for another stay. The house is large and spacious with every possible amenities. Quality fittings and furnishings, very well equipped kitchen and utensils. A real home from home. Two very modern bathrooms and the larger one has a fantastic large walk in shower. The view of the bay from the lounge window is gorgeous with exceptional sunsets giving us plenty of photo opportunities from the front garden. The weather was cold in the evenings but the house was always warm, snug and very welcoming. We have previously stayed on Anglesey twice before but it was our first stay in Rhosneigr and we absolutely loved it. Lovely village, fantastic beach, friendly locals and shop keepers. It was also our first time with Rhosneigr Holiday Lettings and found the whole process easy and trouble free. As they say they are local and always there for you if required but leave you to enjoy the experience if you so wish.
We shall certainly recommend them and the house to our family and friends and can’t wait to return. Keith B Lancashire.

We had a great week in April. The cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival and had everything we needed. Good information pack and contact numbers should you need them - we didn't as we had no problems with anything. This is our second cottage with this company and we won't hesitate to book again as the standard is excellent. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for a week in March with grandparents and a toddler. House spacious, modern and well equipped. A short walk down to the high street and beach, and easy reach to other areas of Angelsea via car. Beach fab for dogs and collecting shells!

We had a marvellous stay in Pen Y Bryn a true home from home! The house was well positioned with immaculate amenities with more than enough space for our family of 6 and the dogs!! The extra touches like the xbox kept the kids entertained after long days exploring tge beautiful bays and coves! Cant wait to come back!!

nicely renovated bungalow, tasteful interior, good heating, poor water pressure so not great showers (will be update in the road apparently) well fitted kitchen just be carful opening cupboards next to glass cooker hood

excellent views front the front towards the dunes and bay, lovely to sit out on deck in summer. if your a plane buff then you will love seeing RAF practising, amazing how low they come.

not ideal outside with dogs as walls are very low so have to keep an eye on. odd that outside plastic rattan furniture has been spread throughout the house, maybe better to put it in the huge shed in the garden.

overall a really nice place, nothing wow but good family base which has been nicely refitted

We come to Rhosneigr once a year and always stay in a property let by Rhosneigr Holiday Lettings. We have never been disappointed.

Pen Y Bryn was lovely, and we would definitely stay here again. As with all the properties we have stayed it, It was lovely, clean and a pleasure to stay in.

We will be back next year.

Stayed at Pen Y Bryn in September 2017. Cottage was very clean and had everything you could want. Only issue was the lack of water pressure in the shower, however I understand this will be resolved shortly. Would book again if we decide to visit Rhosneiger.

Our second week in this cottage and again it was just perfect for our needs. The cleaning staff did an excellent job prior to our arrival and as usual there was a welcome 'treat' waiting for us. The location is ideal for walking into Rhosneigr and as we were very lucky with the weather the car didn't move for three days as the village had enough to keep us occupied.

The only issue we encountered was the drop in water pressure when the dishwasher and washing machine were being used at the same time as the showers but that's me being over critical!

This is a lovely house we were not disappointed! There is just a short walk to the beach and village with lovely restaurants and a great chippy! We had five adults , one 5 year old and a golden retriever and we had plenty of room! Great views sat at the front with your glass of wine on a nice evening! We would recommend this holiday home. The only disappointment was not having enough water pressure for the shower!

Stayed in Pen Y Bryn for a week - great property, spotlessly clean and modern throughout, good size bathroom and space outside to sit in the sun. The five minute walk to the beach was fantastic - great for the dog and lovely views. Plenty of places to eat
and drink - Surfers cafe and Y Morfa were our personal favourites. Will definitely return - love Rhosneigr!

Had a brilliant stay at Pen Y Bryn with our grown up daughters and their husbands. Plenty of room for us all. Place was very well equipped and clean. Lovely welcome surprise of Prosecco and biscuits. Great views to the sea. Great location for seeing the sights on Anglesey. Would stay here again.

First time we have used Rhosneigr holiday lettings, usually deal direct with owners. Excellent experience very helpful over a last minute booking with some discount .
Property in an ideal spot short walk to shops and beach.Excellent in all aspects-decor cleanliness and equipment available, all mod cons . Comfortable beds
Comfortable lounge with 2 sofas and patio door onto front decking which would be ideal in the warm weather as sea view!
Also table and chairs round the back for sitting out we even managed that one day - bet a real sun trap in summer
Off road parking for a couple of cars if needed

Loved it nice and relaxing lots of room for the 2 of us and the dog hope to return soon
Love Rhosneigr - been many times

We have been to Rhosneigr several times but this was the best yet. A family of four with a small dog we thought the house and it's location was superb. It is a very well presented property with fittings to match, apart from stays abroad I have never known a house in Wales have its own wine fridge!

We will definitely consider staying here again and the team from Rhosneigr Holiday Lettings were fantastic and very helpful.

We too had three generations staying at Pen Y Bryn for the week which seemed to fly by and the house certainly lived up to its description with the downstairs bedroom and bathroom being perfect for my father in law, who prefers not to have to climb stairs. It was beautifully presented, with a very well equipped kitchen which catered for our every need. The bedrooms were all tastefully decorated and comfortable. The downstairs bathroom was so huge you could have held a party in it! Outside eating was also well catered for although unfortunately the weather prevented us from making full use of it every day. We would definitely recommend the property to everyone and anyone. Thank you for a great holiday home.

Had a fantastic stay at this holiday home. Can't fault it at all. The only thing missing was a hairdryer, but it wasn't too much of a problem for us.Would definitely book again.Everything you needed down to handwash was there.Fab!!!!!
