I had another short break in Ty Rhiannon with my little dog, very cosy and comfortable stay. Ideal for beach walks and close to local places to visit, No window views but excellent to come back too after a walk. I had lunch at the cafe which was wonderful, very large portion so brought the rest back for tea ! Small problem when electricity went off but mantainace soon sorted, hopefully not an ongoing issue.

Such a wonderful place. Away from it all, cafe next door, cider maker up the road, peace and quiet, wonderful setting.
This has been our 2nd visit and will not be our last.
The travel from our home in Norfolk took ages, but worth it.

We really enjoyed our stay in Ty Rhiannon. The sofa was bigger and more comfortable than I thought it would be. The kitchen is well equipped. Lovely and light and airy with 7 velux windows in the property. Bed big and comfortable.
The tv stopped working on day two. I contacted the property maintenance team and first thing in the morning the guy turned up. By the time we had got back from our day out we had a new tv.
Really good communication all round.
Would definitely stay again.
Dog friendly. A little table and two small bench seats at top of stairs to loft apartment that gets the late afternoon sun.
Washing room if needed on site.

Super clean & comfy cottage with everything handy for your day to day needs. Aberffraw is a wonderful place to stay with one of Anglesey’s best beaches on your doorstep. Great cafe round the corner, cidery down the road, friendly locals, and eateries of Rhosneigr are only a few minutes drive away. Anglesey holiday lettings staff are lovely to speak with & very helpful. Their prices are competitive and there are extra touches like fluffy white towels & eco friendly cleaning products too. This is our 2nd stay in Ty Rhiannon & we’ve booked to go again.

This is my 3rd stay at Ty Rhiannon. Location wise it is close to Rhosneigr and the Expressway and quiet but has an amazing estuary and beach which remains largely deserted even in summer until later in the day. The property was clean and bright but is looking tired and could do with some refurbishment by way of doors, kitchen cupboards and the xpelair fans which were dirty. The furnishings are clean and bright though, the sofa and bed very comfy and the shower room tidy ( once the hot water comes through). The new white Anglesey Lettings linen and towels are a great plus. It is perfect for a short stay or a week or two as a base to explore Anglesey. The on site cafe is now excellent and popular with locals and beach users. Pub is now sadly closed. Aberfraw does have ia shop but it has very limited stock and they are not very friendly! I would suggest losing the three “ reminder” signs lined up on the worktop when you arrive. It’s like a 1960’s B and B. And actually personally whilst it’s not a big deal I object to stripping beds before I leave. Overall though a good value basic property to stay.

What a great base this is. Perfect for one or two people and minutes from Aberffraw beach. Comfortable and clean, just add lovely weather, which I was lucky enough to get. Will hopefully visit again.

This was our 3rd stay at Ty Rhiannon and it did not disappoint. Well equipped, clean and a comfy bed - what’s not to like. A lovely little complex, with plenty of on site parking. A great base to explore the island from. Value for money excellent. We will be back.

Our stay was excellent, very nice apartment sofa especially comfortable. There was everything you needed would definitely stay again in winter, but having a large German Shepherd a garden would have been better especially in the summer months that’s why we normally stay at ty Arthur, this apartment is superb , really quiet and peaceful. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again .

We like the location as it’s so close to a fantastic beach , the dog loves it .
This was the 4th stay .
Shame the pub has never reopened and the cafe is only open limited days .
But as long as you are aware it’s a great place for a holiday .

A decent little place that just needs a few touches to make it perfect.
A lick of paint on some of the walls would make the place feel better. Also, a decent table on which to eat meals. There is a raised area in the kitchen part with bar stools but it is squashed in and you are facing a wall.
The headboard on the bed needs fitting better (I had to wedge it with two cushions), this would compliment the very comfortable bed. The radiator didn't work in the bedroom.
The kitchen area is good but the extractor fan is not over the cooking area so I had to open the door when using the hobs sometimes.
Nice for a 1 person retreat.
The value for money is good over a longer period of 4 days plus, but expensive for a shorter stay.

Ty Rhiannon is a gorgeous little holiday home perfect for two people with everything you need. It is perfectly placed for exploring Anglesey and has stunning views of the surrounding countryside and the estuary. Aberffraw is a friendly place with a lovely cafe and Jaspels Cider Barn only a short walk away. The property was very clean with a comfortable bed and good shower.

Ty Rhiannon is a one bedroom residence on the upper floor of a barn conversion, part of a bigger site featuring a number of differently sized accommodation in the village of Aberffraw situated on the south coast of Anglesey. Its a great location for accessing miles of coastal footpath and beautiful coves and beaches. It's a half hour drive from the bridge crossings and most of the island and key visitor attractions are reachable in 30-40 mins drive.
The property was very comfortable, clean, tidy and well equipped for a stay. Plenty of parking on site and an installed EV charger is great for those with electric cars - you need the Pod Point App.
There is a general store and post office in the village and more options including cafes and restaurants at nearby Rhosneigr. A great fish and chip shop 10 mins away in Newborough.
Altogether an enjoyable stay and good value for money

This was the second time staying at Ty Rhiannon. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Apartment was clean, well equipped and ideal for the two of us and our dog. Ideal location for beach walks and exploring the island. No problems with allocated parking. Anglesey Holiday Lettings are great to deal with. We will definitely return to our happy place. Definitely recommend a stay at Ty Rhiannon! What a lovely little village Aberffraw is, a perfect base for walks and drives round the island.
The cottage was clean and spacious. It have everything we needed for a 3 night break. The only downside was coming back after a day out our water was not working so I had to phone the main office, I was told there was work happening in some of the other cottages. It would have been nice if we had been told in advance.
All in all a fantastic trip, can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful apartment, very cosy and a perfect size for two, well equipped with everything you need and the biscuits in the welcome pack were delicious, Dobby the chihuahua also appreciated the dog treats. The village is lovely with walks from the doorstep and The Crown pub serves delicious food and is dog friendly. All in all a lovely relaxing break to celebrate my husbands birthday, would definitely return.

Ty Rhiannon is in the ideal location for local walks, the village itself is picturesque and only has one shop (cash only) and one pub, The Crown which does amazing food! The apartment itself is small but perfect for two and is well equipped with everything you need. There is some maintenance required and the carpet has huge stains on it hence the lower score for cleanliness and condition. The hot water is fine but takes a long time to reach the taps/shower so don't panic and think it isn't working. My only gripes are that you are very sternly told to leave the apartment as clean as you found it and to strip the beds or you will be charged. I am happy to leave tidy, surface clean with all the washing up done etc but with a 10am departure date I don't have time nor do I expect to do a full clean.

A perfect bolt hole for an ideal break in a quiet setting within the village, the property has everything required without being cluttered. From the advertising literature you don’t realise that there is a private outside sitting area where you can relax and eat. This made the property even more desirable as we were able to catch the evening sun with our own fold up chairs.
To improve the property even more a bigger bed would be ideal although it would reduce the bedroom size but the benefit would out-way the reduction.
Perfect location for exploring the island or even Snowdonia

We have stayed in these cottages before unfortunately our usual one was booked so went for Ty Rhiannon. It is small but well equipped with all you need and is very comfortable. Personally I would not stay again because of the 15 steps up and the the breakfast bar stools were uncomfortable. We are seventy plus and after walking all day think ground floor is better for us. That takes nothing away from the property it's a little gem and super value.

Lovely place. Not big but has everything you could need for a great holiday.
Very clean too.
Not suitable if you're not able to climb the outside stairs though and not suitable for small children (which aren't allowed anyway).
Two minute walk to the beautiful estuary and the gorgeous Aberfraw beach is just a lovely 10 min walk along the estuary.

Every thing went very smoothly on arrival once I'd figured out the key safe. Very pleasant stay. Pleased with accommodation and area. Only comment would be a joiner having a look at the interior door s. Our Jack Russell found them to easy to open. Accommodation for handy for the we cafe down stairs and the local pub which I would also recommend. All in all a pleasant comfy week was enjoyed.

The property was wonderful in everyway, comfotable, bright, clean, ideal location for walks, and within easy travel to all parts of the island. Everyone we met were very friendly and most important everywhere was dog friendly. Very good value for money. To be honest I was not expecting much at all but the property and the whole area was one of the best breaks I have ever had and I have travelled far and wide. We will certainly be returning in the near future but a larger property so we could bring our grandchildren. There is so much for children to do away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A sparklingly clean, cosy, & comfy cottage in a beautiful part of Anglesey. All mod cons & the stuff you need. Great for walks from the door; aberffraw has one of the best beaches with views over the mountains and a wonderful spot for a swim. Pub in the village is friendly with local ales and delicious home cooked food. Rhosneigr is 10mins drive for more eateries or takeaway options. Jaspels cidery is also on hand & delicious. A great place for hols.

The complex is in a perfect spot right by Aberffraws amazing beach
Ty Rhiannon is small but has everything people would need.the views over to Snowdonia are awesome.
Our only difficulty was with the central heating. There is no access to the boiler & no thermistor timer. We found the place pretty cool in October & needed to sit under a throw which was in place on the settee
The on sight cafe is perfect for breakfast or delicious cakes

The property was immaculate which set the scene for a wonderful weekend away. The welcome pack does exactly what it says - providing the necessary for a well earned cuppa before we needed to unpack Although Ty Rhiannon is small, it is more than adequate for two people and having a cafe on site and a local pub which serves delicious food in the village, we wanted for nothing! There was no need to use the car as the stunning scenery and costal walks are literally on the doorstep - just a perfect weekend away

What a great accommodation and ideal location. Close to so many lovely beaches. Tearoom does great food and a good choice. We enjoyed it so much we are going again next year.

From the moment of dealing with Anglesey lettings and placing the key back in the security box when we left, we were highly satisfied with the whole experience. Firstly with the booking of the property was straightforward and promptly done.
The moment we arrived we had the information of the security number to open the security key box. The property was spotlessly clean. We loved the cosyness of the property. There was milk tea coffee and some biscuits for us too, a lovely touch. We didn't need for anything, all equipment and utensils was in good condition. It was in a lovely beautiful village of Aberffraw, a stunning beach just a short walk away. We enjoyed breakfast at the llys llewellyn cegin on the day we left too.
Before our long drive home to Pontypwl south Wales.

Great place to stay, would definitely recommend, loved Aberffraw. Would benefit a communal bike shed as the accommodation isn’t big enough to store bikes.

Third stay in these properties and will definitely return again. Rather cold on arrival but was dealt with immediately. Excellent value for money. As an immunosuppressed person and shielded for the last 14 months was worried about our first venture out, but the property was spotless and the break was wonderful.

This is a perfect apartment for a couple. It is small and compact but very comfortable, warm and cosy. You enter the apartment by a flight of stairs where at the top you will find a lovely seating area ideal for an alfresco meal or glass of wine. The lounge/kitchen is one room but contains everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bedroom is quite spacious and would benefit from the addition of a chair and the bed which was very comfortable is advertised as a King size but in my opinion is a standard double.
The shower room was lovely and warm with the heated towel rail and water pressure was excellent from the shower. On arrival the toilet seat was dangerously loose and it didn't fit the toilet properly. We managed to get Lee (Anglesey Holiday Lettings maintenance) who was working on another property nearby to sort out the problem the next day but was disappointed the cleaner hadn't picked up this problem when cleaning and preparing the property for our arrival.

Overall this is a very comfortable apartment and wouldn't hesitate to book it again in the future.

Perfect location for walking the dog at the beach and also exploring the rest of Anglesey. All instructions for access were provided prior to arrival and there were no issues whilst staying.

Spent a relaxing week here, quiet little village with a lovely pub, great food. Close to the beach if you want to walk. We took some food with us as theres only a local shop and supermarket is a good 15/20 minute drive away. Overall the apartment is comfortable and clean and has everything you will need for a week away, would deffo recommend to anyone.

Aberffraw is a beautiful spot within short walking distance to the sea. The accomodation is excellent. It's an ideal base from which to explore Anglesey and its a great, comfortable place to return to at the end of a day's visits.

Great little development. Excellent for a couple. Cosy and warm but with lots of windows for light and air. Comfy bed. Well equipped kitchen. Walk to the beach and sunsets are heavenly
No corkscrew!!! Had to buy one and left it behind. A review of the kitchen equipment ( chopping board, jug, bowls and a smaller frying pan ) perhaps due.
Will be returning later in the year.

Just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable weekend break. The beach at Aberffraw is our favourite, loved being able to walk on the beach each morning without having to get in the car. Ideally located for coastal walks (church on an island not far away). Accommodation very clean and modern, the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely return.

This was my second time staying at Ty Rhiannon, and probably not the last. The apartment was very clean, the interior is modern and need, and the kitchen had all the appliances I needed. Hot power shower, comfortable bed, sunrise and nightsky views to die for. I especially enjoyed the little terrasse with seating that hasn’t been there the last time I visited. Even though I accidentally booked in during half-term school holidays Aberffraw never seemed too crowded or noisy. Very relaxing getaway.

A lovely apartment, perfect for two people. Excellent parking, good cafe on site, the breakfast was excellent.
The kitchen had everything we needed.
The Velux windows in every room provide great light and fresh air (we stayed in mid October).
It's in a great location, lovely walks down to Aberffraw beach along the river, the Crown pub does good food and is in walking distance, though you may have to book (we couldn't get a table on a Thursday night in October).

There are just a few niggles which could perhaps improve. To obtain hot water we had to leave the tap s running in the bathroom and the kitchen . We did have a heater delivered when the weather turned cooler, it was delivered the same day.
The kitchen appliances ect were very good. A new kettle , perhaps a set of two frying pans. The existing one has seen better days. There crockery needs a little more thought and definitely a tea pot is required. The recycling is very poor, that is probably the fault of your council.
Overall a really relaxing and enjoyable stay.

VERY ENJOYABLE STAY AS ALWAYS IN THIS SPECIAL PLACE, NICELY REFURBISHED ACCOMODATION COMPACT BUT FINE FOR A COUPLE, WE LIKE IT, BUT WHERE IS THE TEA POT AND BOTTLE OPENER!! CAN RECOMMEND THE CAFE NEXT DOOR AND THE PUB IN THE VILLAGE PLUS THE LOBSTER POT RESTAURANT IN CHURCH BAY FOR FRESH SEA FOOD. BEEN VISITING THIS VILLAGE FOR 60 YEARS AND IT STILL HAS ONE OF THE BEST AND QUIETEST BEACHES EVER, IF YOU DONT MIND THE WALK DOWN THE RIVER SIDE.

The accommodation, facilities were as we expected as we have stayed at this complex previously. However, on that occasion there was a fault with the hot water but kindly offered the use of the upstairs accommodation shower and a £35 discount on our next stay.
The lack of customer care/service was poor, we experienced on this holiday as there was building work going on in the apartment directly below us which we felt should of been highlighted when booking this holiday or even made aware
days before arriving.
We do hope to re book in the future as the accommodation/facilities/area are excellent when no problems are experience.

Aberffraw is the perfect location to explore the Anglesey island, Snowdonia National Park or even go on a days trip to Portmeirion or Llandudno. The coastal pathway is very close by as well and there is also a perfect sandy beach basically right outside the doorstep. You'll need to walk for fifteen minutes along the river or over the dunes to reach it, but it's a beautiful walk and most importantly, it often keeps the beach from overcrowding.

Ty Rhiannon cottage was exceptionally clean, very modern and well equipped. I didn't miss anything during my one-week-stay. The best thing about the apartment (which is located on the first floor and reached by a staircase outside of the apartment) are the two angled windows in the bedroom, right next to the bed. When I went to sleep at night I had a wonderful view of the sky and its millions of stars; and in the early morning I enjoyed waking up, watching the sun rise, and go back to sleep. It was brilliant.

The kitchen has everything you'd need and the bathroom - though small - is very tidy and comfortable as well. Very good water pressure in the shower.

A nice bonus was having a good wifi connection, Netflix installed in the television and a comfortable couch to read a book. Ty Rhiannon had everything I needed for a relaxing week away from the city buzz.
