There were six adults, one six month-old baby and three dogs staying here in this large spacious house which had plenty of room for all of us. Kitchen had everything we needed with lots of crockery, cutlery and utensils. Outside shower was great for rinsing dogs, wetsuits and water shoes. Utility room has large capacity washing machine - weather was good so was able to hang clothes out to dry. Tumble drier would be good for when weather was poor. Beds were comfortable and we all slept well. Upstairs bathroom was spacious with a great shower - roomy and lots of hot water. Big outside space with grassed area to one side. House is surrounded by pebbles, which our dogs were not keen on walking on and they hobbled across it to get on the grass. Once gate was shut, the garden was fully enclosed and it was safe for the three girls to play around outside. Only slight problem we had was getting outside through either set of patio doors as there are two steps, but quite a high drop off the bottom step which we had to be careful of - three steps would be better. The fish and chip shop is nowhere near as good as it used to be, but Aydin's Pizza remains a firm favourite and Sandy Mount Hotel lets dogs into the bar area - we all had a lovely evening meal there. On arriving home from this holiday, I realised a few items had been accidentally left and I contacted Anglesey Holiday Lettings - Barbara was very helpful and sorted it out for me - thank you! Rhosneigr and the lovely beach holds a special place in our hearts and we had another wonderful holiday. We are back next year, staying in a smaller house we have booked previously as there will only be three of us with our two dogs and we can't wait!

We love staying at Ty Traeth. The location is ideal for our family holiday. We asked Gill Jones to take family photographs fortunately on the best weather day when we were there. Very windy, surfers’ not a swimmers sea all week.
The house hoover did not work too well. A sweeping brush would have helped. New double bed very comfortable. High chair useful.

Its a big spacious house with huge living areas for the five bedrooms. Large kitchen, two big patio doors that can be opened up onto the modest garden on sunny days. Plenty of big sofas and chairs to relax in of an evening. The kitchen is big with its own dining table, then there is the large central area with 2nd table for 6~8, big galleried landing upstairs and finally a lounge and TV. It is located opposite a school (the entrace drive is - not the garden), but we never heard so much as the tinyest bit of noise and no there aren't hoards of cars at the beginning or end of the school day. Its located a short walk from the Village centre or the beach.

Car parking wise, you can get several cars down the drive but turning around space in the drive is tricky if lots of cars are parked. Best to reverse down the drive and accept you have to stack the cars. Last in first out.

The outdoor Chimera/BBQ - well I wouldn't want to cook on it. But its an excellent platform for the probably more convenient disposable BBQs you get from the Supermarket.

Kitchen is well equpped if you want to cook with a nearly new big Range Cooker (Gas). The kitchen has TWO fridges, so plenty of space for keeping drinks cool.

Hot Water is from a powerful Combi Gas Boiler, so the four bathrooms always have plenty of hot water.

Bedrooms wise; whoever ftted the curtains wants a lesson in DIY. Several curtain tracks are laughably off the horizontal. That doesn't affect your enjoyment of the property except in a couple of the bedrooms at least, the curtains are VERY thin and cheap and barely keep any light out in the Summer, plus also can't easliy be drawn accross the whole of the window. I took a blackout curtain of my own I could put over the windown and was VERY glad I did. Bedroom 2 with the ensuite has no wardrobe just a freestanding clothes hanger - its just about adequate or you hang clothes in the other bedrooms.

Bathrooms were all clean and fresh. Good showers - however the showers drain very poorly - yes that's minor and being very picky.

Overall, nothing much to take fault with except bedroom curtains. I would honestly recommned the house for a big family holiday.

We chose this property to accommodate three generations of the family, three in our sixties, four in their forties and three under fives and a dog - and it was brilliant. We loved the large, light open space of the ground floor and the chance to gather around the big oak dining table with windows on three sides. The kitchen layout was great for several people to be in at the same time and the lounge could be a quiet comfortable spot, occasionally if the kids were outside. With laminate flooring across this level we had no worries about spills or wet footprints. The garden is a great size with an expanse of lawn and attractive shrubs, although a few nettles have sprung up that we needed to steer the kids away from. The ample parking on the drive at the front of the property was a big bonus. There are no lounger chairs but plenty of chairs to go round the outside table. There was an additional older outdoor table, it’s not fit to use and needs taking away or refurbishing.
The downstairs loo is just a loo and hand basin as per the property description but the floor plan makes it look like a shower room. Our friend with mobility issues occupied the ground floor twin bedroom and had to get upstairs to shower, this was the only drawback. The staircase is wide and not steep so our friend and two year old twins could negotiate them. Our friend thought the twin beds were best suited to children I.e. not full size.
The beds upstairs were very comfortable and the layout of the rooms suited us very well. Parents had the en-suite room with their three children (two in travel cots) in the twin room next door to them, on one side of the house, The other four adults were in the two double rooms on the opposite of the landing area. The family bathroom in the middle was fantastic, lots of space, a free standing bath and luxurious walk in shower.
One of our party is an electrician he was unhappy that the “electrics” were in a cupboard that we couldn’t lock in the downstairs loo. I would never have noticed that.
Rhosneigr shops are 2 or 3 hundred metres from the house, same for the beach. Highly recommended.

Six of us stayed in Ty Traeth with an age range from 3 to 74. The house was perfect for us: spacious, comfortable and warm (when there was a chilly breeze outside). We wondered whether the garden would be big enough for the boys to play in, but there was plenty of room for boules. We were 5 minutes from everywhere. We've spent lots of time in Anglesey and this was just about the best house we've been to.

Firstly 4pm arrival is too strict!! We use letting agents about 8-10 times a year and this is one of the strictest, especially when you're made to leave at 10am and the cleaner arrive at 9.50am!

The property is not cheap but it is located in Rhosneigr one of the more exclusive parts of the island.

This property is large and spacious and serves well for multi generational family stays. We found the layout to be perfect for our needs both in terms of size and flow.

Beds are comfy, kitchen has everything you could need, bathrooms spacious.

The property is in need of some tlc however. There is scuffed paint work in various places, marks on carpets and bare wires in the lounge and one of the bedroom cupboards. Although not 'live' they shouldn't be like that for the price of this property! One of the garden tables is heavily damaged as is one of the homemade benches which could cause an injury.

It would have been nice to have had a tumble dryer due to wet clothes from the rain but it wasn't a major issue.

One thing which REALLY annoyed us was the rules about everything. When paying good money we do not want to see notices in the house telling us to atrip the beds etc etc, especially when the reason we can't get in until 4pm is due to the cleaning. What on earth is taking 6 hours?!!!!

Customer services wise....hmmmm out of all the letter agents we use the service at AHL was probably the most restrictive and less helpful. This is a shame as their email communications are probably better than most i.e their 'property welcome pack'.

We are a little saddened to hear your thoughts on what you say is a strict arrival policy, especially as you had already enquired about an early arrival time and were told that we were unable to facilitate this, due to the constraints of our housekeeping team. We have a limited team that turn around several properties, and whilst you mentioned that you yourself work in the accommodation industry and are hard pushed to understand why it would take a cleaner 6 hours, we can assure you that this is the case. We will of course pass on your feedback to the owner regarding some of the issues that you consider to be unacceptable, however we do consider that these really annoying rules are necessary.

Perfect house for a family celebration with plenty of room for all to enjoy. Beach and eateries all within easy walking distance. The only slight quibble is the house sign could be more clearly visible. We had an amazing stay and will definitely return.

Another fantastic weekend at our favourite place! When we arrived there was no heating on and the house was freezing! The underfloor heating wasn’t working, a call to Anglesey lettings and someone was sent out within the hour to fix it, great service.
A little feedback, it was December and there was no Christmas tree up, that would have been nice to arrive to a warm house and some festive decorations!

That said we love the house, plenty of room for our big family and little dog in a fantastic location!
It’s always so immaculately clean with everything what you need and we would highly recommend it!

Ty Traeth, Rhosneigr is superbly equipped, comfortable and located for a perfect multi-generation family holiday. We were a party of 10; grandparents, 4 adults and 4 children aged 2 to 8. The house has loads of space for cooking, eating , playing and relaxing with very comfortable furniture. The bedrooms accommodated various combinations and beds were extremely comfortable. There was more than enough crockery, cutlery, utensils, pans, etc to cook and serve meals for 10 and the dishwasher was put to good use in between!

Rhosneigr main beach was within easy walking distance and lots ot keep all of us happy. The rest of Anglesey is easily explored from the house, with nowhere more than 40 minutes drive away.

This was our second visit to Ty Treath, after 6 years, and it welcomed us again with open arms!! We had returned to celebrate an 80th birthday, and more wedding anniversaries.
There were eight of us, ranging from two grandparents, and two daughters with their families of teenagers.
The rooms accommodated us so well, everyone able to do their own thing, and meal times were effortlessly prepared in the well appointed kitchen. Bedrooms were very comfortable and the many bathrooms meant no queuing in the mornings!!
Days were spent on the beaches playing,cricket, BBQ's in the garden, and "smores" by the chimera during a week of mainly sunny weather, and of course relaxing in the cosy snug!
We all had a wonderful time and hope to return again to our "Home from Home" in the future!

Had a fantastic 4 day break with the extended family at Ty Treath. Loads of outside space and a great enclosed garden for the dog. We were blessed with great weather so when at the property we spent most of out time outdoors, but if we had needed it there was loads of space for us all to be indoors.
Some things were a little tired, and there was an issue with the bath tap, but the maintenance team were on it straight away.
Best recommendation - we have booked again for next year!

Stayed for 3 nights in this very modern and comfortable house. Close to the beach and the village centre. Everything we needed was provided and the key lock-box made it very easy to come and go. We were a party of 10 and there was plenty of room.

Property was in a great location close to the beaches, good for walking with the dogs, secure gardens for the dogs too. Ty Traeth is a well equipped, very clean house with a great outdoor space. It is convenient for Rhosneigr only a few minutes mutes walk from beautiful beaches and great restaurants and coffee shops.

This house is perfect for big family holidays. Plenty of room and quiet spaces. Property was very clean and very well equipped. A few negative observations but nothing major. Location of property really central and close to beach.

Its a lovely, clean, well-equipped family-sized, airy, comfortable home-from-home. Would definitely recommend this place.... 5 good-sized bedrooms, sleeping 10 adults in comfort. Well equipped kitchen, secure garden and lots of parking. The beach is but a few steps away and some really good eating places close by. I felt we had value for money AND a great place to stay.

Our 6th stay at Ty Treath, we love it here, unfortunately this was the second time in 6 months our long awaited family weekend was spoilt by one of the children having covid the day we were going so sadly instead of 10 of us going there were 4. :(
We love the size and space of the house, it’s kept to an amazing standard and is minutes walk to the beach and the village.
This will be our last visit as we can’t risk covid spoiling another weekend for us, while the price of the weekend was good between 3 families, when some of you can’t go it really isn’t economical.

Had been previously for a week in summer with family, but returned for a weekend with friends in February. The weather was horrible, windy and wet,but the house is warm and has plenty of space. We all had a great time.

We had a wonderful stay, felt at home and relaxed as soon as we walked in. We had a problem with the shower, which was dealt, with straight away.

We loved our stay at Ty Traeth. We have visited Rhosneigr several times and this was the best house we have stayed in. Light and airy, comfortable beds, plenty of space and ideal location for walking to the beach and village centre. We will definitely return!

Ty Traeth is a large spacious house which is well equipped and in a good location near the beach and local shops. One particular benefit is that it has ample private off road parking for several cars. Anglesey Holiday Lettings is a professional company who respond promptly to any queries or problems. Will definitely stay again!

The house has been recently refurbished and it was lovely. Everywhere was clean, tidy and so spacious it swallowed us up! We instantly felt at home. Big garden with a lovely seating area off the patio doors (but, and this is my only negative, whilst there is a nice lawn for the kids to play the whole area around the house itself and the driveway is gravel which is very painful under bare feet so you need shoes to step outside and my dog was reluctant to walk on it).
It’s so close to the beach but tucked away in a quiet street. If you’ve not been to Rhosneigr before beware the RAF planes they are very noisy but I can’t fault the house at all. Lovely stay thank you!

The house was amazing, we arrived just before storm Dennis, however that didn't detract from our stay, the house was perfect, the beds so comfy and the house was lovely and warm, my cocker spaniel loved the underfloor heating.
The beach and restaurants are all in very close proximity.
We can't wait to come back, but will make it in summer next time.

We are a little surprised to find that the property was not as smart has it was when we last stayed there 18months ago.
We had an issue with lack of light bulbs in side lamps everywhere.
The TVs handset needs replacing. We did call the letting agents who arrived the following day with replacement batteries, by which time we had been out and bought our own. We mentioned the lack of light bulbs but nothing was done about that, we just managed.
It. Is a wonderful place to stay in a large group and provided it is keep to a good standard we return.
It had an abundence of crockery and cutlery which is great, pans etc are showing signs of use.
Towels and bedding of very good standard.

Ten members of the family went to Ty Traeth for what is becoming our annual family get together. Great facilities and was able to use the outside area as the weather was very good. Great place for a family with adequate sleeping areas, dinning areas and sitting areas and close to beaches and local town. Would recommend it.

We had a great holiday here and enjoyed all that Ty Traeth has to offer. The only negative was the lack of bin space. There was one dustbin which was full when we got there on Saturday. Two bins for a family of ten would be better especially as all the rubbish and recycling go in together.
A super house for a large family though and very dog friendly.

We were 3 families sharing over a long weekend. We loved the location- just a short stroll into the village which suited us with a dog to walk. The house has lots of great amenities- plenty of kitchenware for many guests and 2 fridges for all the food. The table is a great size to seat everyone and there are spare chairs around to ensure we could all sit in the lounge. The bathrooms were great, as were the bedrooms - despite the creakiest floors I’ve ever encountered! My only negative would be that although you are provided with lovely good quality bath sheets, there is only one each, and only one hand towel per bathroom. We took washing tablets so we could wash them through after a couple of days but then realised there was no tumble drier! There is a washing line (no pegs), but it rained unfortunately for our visit, even though it was June, so other than putting central heating in, there was no way to dry any washing. We would definitely visit again, but take pegs or extra towels in future!

We all had a fabulous weekend at Ty Traeth. The house is really lovely - spacious, well laid out, well equipped and in a fantastic location within Rhosneigr. The house met the needs of everyone in our group - adults, teenage children and dogs - all of whom were very happy and comfortable here. We were able to enjoy lovely walks from the house as well as spending a lot of quality time as a group in the house. We could comfortably gather together for socialising and games as well as being able to have quiet times separately if we wanted. There is ample parking (we literally arrived, parked and did not get into our cars again until it was time to leave). Beds were all comfortable. Bathrooms are very well done. The kitchen was very well equipped and the dining room was a fantastic space. We adored this house. We wished we could have stayed longer. We hated leaving - and we will definitely return! Thank you once again to Jamie and Rhosneigr Holiday Lettings.

We stayed at Ty Traeth from Friday until Monday. There were ten adults and we were celebrating my wifes 60th birthday. The place is ideal for accommodating a large group with enough facilities, crockery, utensils, toilets and showers, seating, parking and in general very roomy. Despite the size of the place it was still warm. The location is five minutes walk to the beaches and town facilities. We would definitely recommend this place for a large group of people. Although the weather would not allow us to spend time in the garden it looked like the facilities would be ideal for partying, sunning and eating outdoors.

A fantastic place in my favourite village. Celebrated my 50th here with family- perfect for this with large kitchen and impressive dining space. House had an abundance of rooms, space, equipment and linen/towels. It was cosy and warm despite being the end of November, thanks to under floor heating and radiators. The location cannot be more perfect- you could park up and never need your car again thanks to local shops, bars, restaurants and of course the superb beaches.
Parking is more than ample on the large driveway- room for 6 plus cars if needs be. Its so peaceful at night, affording you a great night's sleep. All possible additions to a home from home have been thought of. My father took ill on our last day so the detailed information pack also helped locate a doctor who attended within 2 hours. I cannot thanks Jamie enough for his kind understanding in this situation, helping us make sure he didn't have to move until well- above and beyond customer service!
Just perfect- what more can I say. Would definitely love to come back.

We visited Ty Traeth for 5 days in October half term. In the party was 3 adults and 7 children. The house was just simply beautiful and so spacious for us all. It was home from home. So well equipped. The staff were fantastic and answered and queries promptly, nothing was too much trouble and really helpful on what there was out and about.
We will definitely be visiting again. The only downside was that we had to come home from what was a fabulous week I'm a beautiful setting with great company.

House was in a perfect location, 5 mins walk from the beach & village. House was lovely & accommodated all of our family, even better with our dog who loved the grounds and was secure. Downstairs bedroom and separate bathroom was great for Mum, as she has walking difficulties. The house has everything you need to have a wonderful father fin with friends & family. We was very lucky with the weather, although very windy. We had an early lunch one day at Mojo Crepe’s in the Village, absolutely fabulous!!

We have stayed at Ty Traeth a few times now, and over the last few years have seen a steady deterioration in the place.
Semi broken chairs, not fixed in the past year, broken flush on one of the toilets, the connections for the outdooor shower not finished off inside and things like placemats and coasters, long past their best.
The garden is a mess, the washing line broken.
The place now needs a significant sorting out, and still needs the tumble dryer, the lack of which has been mentioned before.
At present this property does not warrant it’s high rating.
Such a shame as it needs relatively little doing to it.

I don’t feel that, at present I could give it five stars on Trip Advisor.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for Ty Traeth. As you know we make every effort to ensure our guests are comfortable and happy with their property on arrival; hence we ask our guests to report any issues they experience straight away and throughout their stay. We did not hear from you at all and therefore were not given the opportunity to rectify any issues. I have personally visited the property and within 15 minutes sorted all of the issues you have now reported. The garden has recently undergone a lot of work, it is far from a mess, it just has empty borders in the rear part which will be planted in October (they will die if planted before), the palm leaves in the garden came down during the bad weather during your stay. Clothes airers and a washing line are provided and a tumble dryer is not advertised as one of the amenities. This review could have been avoided and your experience at Ty Traeth would have matched many other visitors experience if you had simply made a phone call to us. Kind regards - Jamie

House could of been perfect but had just a few minor things that could of made it better

Windows dirty
Cupboard handles and fronts of cupboards needed cleaning
The kitchen and dining floor needs attention cracks everywhere wouldn’t walk round barefooted
Outside gravel - lots of flies around where dogs have done there business - having dogs myself it not easy to pick up pooh from gravel but I know this is a costly thing to replace

This would not stop me rebooking cause we had a great time and the weather was amazing

7 of us stayed for the weekend at Ty Traeth and had a great time - house is very well equipped, comfortable and clean. Excellent kitchen, comfy beds, couple of ensuites, a huge family bathroom all with good showers and a downstairs loo, plenty of room in the lounge for everybody to have a comfy seat and plenty of outside seating space when the weather allowed - a great house for a group. We had a lovely weekend and will definitely return to Ty Traeth. Highly recommended.

This house is beautiful providing all the amenities you could ask for. The weather for our stay was excellent and we made good use of the lovely large table and chairs in the garden.

The provision of beach towels was an unexpected and welcome provision. The washing machine was very useful but there were only four pegs!!!

There was plenty of everything in the kitchen and there is nothing we could complain about. The bedrooms and en suites are lovely and the main bathroom GORGEOUS. There were though one or two broken items, toilet flush to name one but we recorded these as we entered.

We would definitely use this house again, should we manage to get our whole family together again!

Ty Traeth is even better than the photos on the web. It's spacious rooms and lots of windows provide an ambience hard to beat, there are sufficient carpeted areas to soften any noise, it's easy to keep clean, the outside shower and tap mean the beach stays outside and the beds are comfortable. It is well equipped with lots of crockery, cutlery and kitchen pans and utensils.
Our 3 generation family group enjoyed the house, garden, lovely weather and the proximity to RAF Valley meant ,when the Red Arrows came for a training day, we had a bird's eye view of their new display. Close to the beach and village, we had an excellent week.

We stayed at Ty Traeth during the second week in May. What glorious weather! The sun shone every day, glorious. The house exceeded expectations in a very quiet area a short walk from the main beach. Facilities were first class with the kitchen and dining room providing the focal point during the day and the spacious sitting room meeting all our comfort needs at night. Our party of 7 plus Barkley (miniature poodle) couldn't have wished for more. A lovely property and we will definitely be back to Ty Traeth asap.

As a family of very varied ages we found the property a huge success. Lots of space to spread out, never under each other's feet.

I have recently returned from ty traeth and I could not fault it ( apart from a slight fault with the flush on 2 of the toilets but there was a third so didn't bother us)
The accommodation was top class and very comfortable and clean.

We were celebrating our fiftieth wedding anniversary in Rhosneigr with three generations of our family, and eight of us stayed at Ty Traeth, (Other members were also in holiday houses in the village)
The house lived up to all our expectations. We loved the space, the comfy bedrooms, squashy sofas and numerous bathrooms, and the kitchen was so well equipt. The washing machine and the dish washer were a boon!!
The outside space was great for al fresco meals and super for the children to play hide and seek, treasure hunts, ball games etc.
We spent most days on the beach (the weather was great all week) and in 5 minutes or so we were at the shore playing games, building sandcastles or swimming (children had wet suits)!
We would recommend Ty Traeth as a great base for families to enjoy a seaside holiday in a wonderful family house!

An excellent house for a large family group holidaying together with children and dogs. We appreciated all the space and the safe enclosed garden and the views of the sea and sunsets from the upstairs windows. It was just a few minutes walk down the path through the dunes to beautiful wide stretches of sandy beaches with rock pools. We had a very happy holiday in a beautiful area and are keen to return.

Our multi generational family enjoyed staying at TyTraeth, the house was excellent. It provided enough space for all of us. The kitchen and dining room were massive and enabled us to have friends from Rhosneigr for a big gathering.
The house is situated in a quiet street, but the village centre and beach were within a couple of minutes walk, so the best of both worlds.

Absolutely lovely house for our group of 10 adults for a 70th birthday celebration. The house was extremely well equipped with everything from a kitchen blender to sets of boules. There was never a shortage of crockery, cutlery and pans etc and all in good condition. The bed linens and towels were pristine. Fabulous spacious rooms. Also good to have a downstairs bedroom as a member of our group has reduced mobility and although there was a downstairs loo and wash basin there wasn't a shower but as we there for only a long weekend she managed the stairs to the bathroom. This is just an observation in case it may be relevant to future guests. From the time of booking we had very good service from Heidi whenever I rang with yet another question and also a visit from Jamie just after we arrived on Friday to check everything was okay. We all absolutely loved this house and really didn't want to leave. Definitely the best place we have ever stayed and cannot recommend it highly enough. Excellent well done.

This is an amazing property and offers some very comfortable surroundings. As a group of kitesurfers staying, the only downside was a lack of a garage to put equipment in for drying and to keep the house sand free. Everyone enjoyed the stay and I believe one or two are already looking at a stay nearer to christmas.

I wasn't expecting a downstairs bathroom next to the bedroom as well as two ensuite rooms and a huge family bathroom. There was everything we needed and more and we had excellent service from Jamie at the letting agency. A final plus was a week of good weather and Rhosneigr beach is excellent for the children and Anglesey is an ideal holiday destination. Would definitely consider returning and would recommend to anyone planning a holiday with a large group.

As a family holiday with a varying age range from grandparents to parents teenagers and toddlers Ty Traeth was excellent.
The interior set out was spacious with amazing dining and kitchen facilities, the bedrooms were also spacious and well laid out and equipped.
The outside space was flat and secure with plenty of space for the children to play.
In conclusion Ty Traeth was perfect for our needs and we would have no hesitation in returning or recommending it to family and friends

Excellent property for families getting together, large dinning table, kitchen has area for relaxing , all bedrooms comfy and spacious. 5 mins to beach. We had a wonderful holiday, grandchildren did not want to leave.
