Ty Tywod is a pet-friendly cottage in Rhosneigr, ideal for a seaside family retreat. Sleeps 6, 3 bedrooms, ample parking, and an enclosed garden.

A wonderful property that makes it difficult to stay indoors or to go out and explore.

Winter in Anglesey offers true spectacle of the island and Ty Tywod offers the spectacle from the warmth and convenience of its location in Rhosneigr.

Ty Tywod is a wonderful place to stay, ample parking, super warm central heating, modern kitchen with all that you need. The beds are super comfortable and the whole place is nicely decorated. There were six of us and it suited us perfectly. We found it truly a wonderful place to retreat to after a day’s adventure around the island. Would return in a heartbeat and recommend to others.

We had a great stay at Ty Tywod. It was helped by a full weeks sunshine in September! It did mean we made full use of the enclosed garden with fab views of the mountains whilst eating and having coffee. The garden was great for our new dog too, as it was fully enclosed.

The house is in a good location for easy access to the beach and restaurants. It is good to be able to park your car right on the drive too. We made full use the of the kitchen, which had everything you need. The back entrance and conservatory meant we could also keep our bikes safely locked in the house, without them getting in the way. The living/dining room had great views too and was comfortable. The bed was comfy and as it is on a quiet street, you get little noise.

We didn't use the upstairs, but I imagine it is good if you have kids.

Rhosneigr is a great little village with fab beaches and a great a place to take your dogs, as so much walking on hand. We will be back and hopefully staying in this great house.

Great location. Clean and tidy house. Would be improved by a rug in the loving room to be cosier and an upgraded shower. Great kitchen and views to the sea. Nice garden if visiting in summer.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Ty Tywod.
we were very taken by the website profile but were even more impressed by the actualities of the facilities.

Our dogs loved the garden which was enclosed. Our kids loved the beach which was minutes away from the home. The kitchen was amazing we cooked up a storm in the great facilities. The utility room is great as we could wash down muddy kids and dogs without carting them into the house.

We really enjoyed our time here together. The local amenities are amazing. There are restaurants and cafes on the doorstep. Further field there was beautiful walks cliff and see Anglesey' is an amazing place magical skies and landscapes.

we will be back as soon as we can

Perfect home-from-home stay in the heart of the vibrant seaside village of Rhosneigr!

When looking for a holiday home, we have quite a long wish list as we have 2 boys and 2 dogs - all with endless amounts of energy, so finding somewhere close to the beach, local amenities and with a garden are all essentials for us. Ty Tywod fitted the bill on paper but was even better In reality! It is clean, incredibly well equipped and even has a games room which the children swiftly commandeered!

Anyone with young children knows how much stuff needs to be ferried around, so the plentiful off street parking meant we could unpack the car without any hassle.

Rhosneigr is a fabulous holiday destination, with a beautiful beach where our dogs got a week’s worth of exercise on daily! The local shops and restaurants provided everything we needed - with lots of local produce and tasty treats on offer at the local One Stop shop. We ventured a bit further afield on one of our days, and found the local scenery to be breathtaking.

I can thoroughly recommend both Rhosneigr and Ty Tywod as a great holiday combination. We will definitely be back!

As soon as we opened the door we could see this property is tired. Not cared for.
Kitchen is new and nice but the rest of the house is very tired.
Hover did not work. Paint work mostly chipped and in need of a fresh up.
Bedroom and living room painted furniture very tired. Bathroom toilet seat all chipped to.
The biggest disappointment was the outside.
Paint work, masonry work, garden furniture, patio area all needs cleaning up.
Patio area needs jet washing, table and chairs needed staining and the garden is completely burnt at the back with no flowerbeds, no trees very open.
The front garden is full of weeds and not very welcoming.

We stayed at Ty Tywod for a couple of nights for a family birthday bash. The space and layout were perfect for us and our 2 teenage children. We all had friends over on the first night and there was plenty of space for the kids to do their own thing upstairs, while the adults ate and socialised in the lounge/diner. Our son loved the games room upstairs with the big telly that he hooked his games console up to. The lounge/diner has views of the lake, beach and Snowdonia which made breakfast time sat at the dining room table, watching the sunrise even more enjoyable. We didn't cook as weren't there for long, but it looked as though there is everything you need to cook a family meal. There is plenty of parking for several cars, and the beach is a few minutes' walk away which our dog loved. The utility area off the kitchen is also ideal for dog beds and bowls etc. and the garden is fully enclosed so we could let him out in the morning and not have to constantly watch him. The beds and pillows were really comfy and we all slept well as although the property is really close to the village centre, you're off the main roads and there was no noise at all at night. We'd all go back in a heartbeat, hopefully next time in the summer so we can enjoy the garden a bit more too!
