Really enjoyed our 8 day stay at Eaton Manor. We stayed in the Great Western Lodge which similar to a two bed room apartment. It was completely furnished including a small combo washer/dryer for laundry. The kitchen was fully stocked and even had a French press for making great coffee. You have access to an enclosed heated swimming pool which we did enjoy. I strongly recommend visiting the 12th century church located on the propert. If you want peace and quiet, this is a perfect accommodation.

We appreciated using this lodge as part of the accommodation for an event we held at Eaton Manor. It was clean, well equipped and nicely designed. Also comfortable!

We’ve stayed twice at Great Western Lodge this year, both times beautifully peaceful and not long enough! Can’t fault it - comfortable, cosy, everything we needed was there and everyone we met so friendly. Lovely walks and countryside to explore. Really looking forward to visiting again. We stayed at Eaton Manor Estate after a recommendation, what a beautiful place! Our lodge was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, the welcome pack is a lovely touch! It's a great countryside base to explore a beautiful area. We loved the games barn and spent lots of time in there. Thank you for the lovely stay and the digital guide was a great help too. Eaton Manor is a perfect holiday for families with dog. It has everything we needed. A secure garden for our escape artist beagle,swimming everyday and a games barn for our toddler. The cottage was fantastic, with every tiny detail thought of. For example, everything was provided for a BBQ, on arrival there was a basket full of essentials for our dog, including a dog tag. We were also provided with local produce which were all delicious. The superking bed was amazing! Eaton Manor ticks all the boxes for us and we will be returning many times!

Just loved the place, used it as a base as love Shropshire, and had a show booked at the theatre in Shrewsbury. Accommodation excellent, well laid out and garden very pretty.

The lodge was lovely but it needed to be on the actual estate there was lots of flies in the lodge especially when you opened the door but it is a lovely place

We’re pleased that you found Great Western Lodge to be lovely. It is located on Eaton Manor Country Estate, although it is a short walk from the main site where the games barn and playing field are located. As we have so much space here (500 acres) for everyone to explore, we do find it a challenge to explain the scale of Eaton Manor. We’re sorry that you had trouble with flies during your stay, they can be quite persistent in the countryside but we will always try our best to help guests if an issue occurs. We hope you enjoyed exploring the estate during the Jubilee weekend.

We have stayed in this property on many occasions it is always spotlessly clean beautiful location for walking our two dogs who both love Eaton Manor and the Team

Waiting just over a year to take up my booking for my birthday celebrations which had been planned for 2020, I finally made it to Eaton Manor in 2021 with a much reduced number of guests to join me! And what a wonderful week we had. Set in the beautiful Shropshire countryside it was a delight. Despite the restrictions due to covid, the lodge was well equiped, comfortable and lived up to expectations. Having a peek at the games room we could see it was well equipped and available for anyone wanting to use it, including children. The public areas round the office etc was clean and well kept with beautiful plants and flowers. A problem with the hot water supply was dealt with very quickly and efficiently. I would like to suggest that the vegetation (that has exploded this year) round the brown signs directions be cut back to make them more obvious. We had a bit of difficulty with the cooker hob, we couldn't keep a pan of water (for vegetables) on continuous boil. Is it the type of pans and would some instructions have helped?

Congratulations on making it to Eaton Manor in the end! So glad you enjoyed your stay. The vegetation round the signs has now been cut back, all of a sudden everything seemed to grow like mad. Sorry you had a problem with the induction hob, we have some instructions in the digital guide book for the cottage and have checked the pans are all suitable. Lovely to read you enjoyed your birthday celebration even if it wasn't what you originally planned. Look forward to welcoming you back again soon.

Fantastic stay at Eaton Manor - we stayed in Great Western Lodge. What a fantastic little lodge in an incredible area - we were totally blown away by the Shropshire Hills and loved cycling, walking and exploring the area. Great Western Lodge was lovely and all the little extra touches were very appreciated (the fresh milk, local apple juice, amazing coffee, biscuits - so lovely, thank you!) It was great to have the option of the pool - we used this on one occasion. Very easy to book your private 1 hour slot and immaculately clean pool. We would also highly recommend treatments with Adrianna - she was fantastic, good value and very professional. We will definitely be returning to Eaton Manor soon, thank you!

Another excellent stay at Eaton Manor. A spectacular location, super properties and first-class customer service.

We booked a 4 night stay at lshort notice as my sister had already booked a week there already. The team at Eaton Manor we’re so helpful and the accommodation was lovely. The grounds are so pretty and the area is very quiet. The only thing we hadn’t realised was the distance between our cottage at Great Western Lodge And where my sister was staying at the Garden Cottage. It was a good 7 minute walk on the lanes to get there but was safe as the roads are quiet. Would love to go back again sometime

I do find it a challenge to explain the scale of the estate at Eaton Manor which means that some of the properties are a 7 minute walk apart which in many cases is an advantage as even when all the cottages are full Eaton Manor still feels a haven of peace. We were part of a party of 21 staying at Eaton Manor to celebrate a 50th birthday. We spent the majority of our time at the manor house but we were very impressed with Woodpecker Way. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. Would recommend.

We had a lovely peaceful stay in our well-equipped lodge. I liked the fact that the key was left on the table and we were trusted to do the same at the end of the stay. There was a small but beautiful garden, which was dog-proof and private. I also liked the rules re noise, or rather the lack of it. The estate itself is beautiful and put me in mind of a Scottish country estate we stayed at nearly 30 years ago.
Unfortunately, the flies were out in full force and although I used the spray, they kept coming back. This marred the holiday as I had to rewash all pots before use as there was only open shelving in the kitchen. Perhaps a wall cupboard could be fixed up. A fan might help too.
The Games room was good and there was plenty of dog-walking space.
Loved the dog treats and the cake!
Would revisit.

We stayed in The Great Western Lodge for a few days whilst running a yoga retreat at Eaton Manor. We stayed in The lodge and it was perfect. The bedrooms were fitted out perfectly, comfortable and a high standard. The living area was a great space and the kitchenette extremely well fitted out. We will certainly come again!... and have no hesitation to recommend.

This was our second stay at Eaton Manor. Great Western Lodge was exactly as expected and as described. We loved our holiday. The provision of a dog tag provided extra peace of mind and we were able to let our slightly over-excitable dog run free in the grassy field next to the lodge. Other doggy perks were an enclosed secure garden, a blanket, bowl and biscuits - and a warm water dog wash. There are fantastic walks on the estate and beyond. We used the archery range most days too. There is a great games room; our snooker skills were somewhat lacking though. We didn’t use the swimming pool, although there were plenty of available times and it looked well kept. We would definitely go back but we would probably try to pay the extra to be in one of the cottages nearer the archery range.

Everything about Eaton Manor Estate is to the highest standard, we had an excellent stay and have already made more bookings, our Dogs loved the Hot Dog wash what a clever idea.

Enjoyable stay in comfortable and very well equipped bungalow deep in the Shropshire countryside.
Games room a particular highlight and the swimming pool another appreciated facility.
No instructions for the oven and cramped shower cubicle are the only piccy minus points I can think of.
