First time staying in Drimmie Lodge but we’ve been visiting Ericht lodges for many years. As always the stay was great from initial meeting with Kay on arrival to our departure. Would always recommend a stay at Ericht. Great value for money and we love how close you are to amenities and yet it’s so quiet and peaceful. Our dogs love their visits too.

What a little gem, it’s a great place stay, clean and tidy with all the facilities that you need. Kay was a great host, friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely use again.

Lovely lodge very clean and tidy. Any contact with the owner was good. Went out of their way to accommodate us early. Quiet wooded area with good walks in the area as we had our dog. Short walk 10-15 min into Blairgowrie town centre.

We needed somewhere convenient for a week of walking with minimal driving. This proved to be ideal, in a quiet location, a short distance from Blairgowrie centre. Kay was excellent and couldn't do enough to help

Everything you could need close to all amenities and a beautiful river runs alongside.
The lodge is comfy and all needs are supplied except food of course.
This was the second visit for me so it shows the confidence I had in the holiday cottage.

Good communication beforehand and information supplied. Met by Kay and shown around the lodge, friendly and helpful information. Nice thought with milk, tea and coffee etc after a long journey.

Another relaxing stay at the Ericht lodges. Though the Drimmie isn't our first choice if others are available (doesn't have a bath, which my wife prefers) other than that, along with the other lodges it is well equipped and the location is great for getting around. There are regular buses to Dundee and Perth if you want to leave the car behind.

My wife and I stayed for a week in September.

Cosy lodge, well equipped with a comfortable bed and a good shower.

Lots of wildlife literally on the doorstep.

A great centre for exploring Perthshire.

This was our 3rd visit to Ericht Holiday lodges. When we booked Kay was so helpful, trying to find a lodge with easier access for us as our daughter who has a disability, as Drimmie has steps down to the entrance. We were very grateful for her efforts. We stayed in Drimmie which was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a lovely holiday. It was lovely to be surrounded by the trees which brought so many birds to the feeders, and it was great to see a red squirrel on quite a few occasions.

From my first contact with Kay to leaving the property my experience was exceptional.

Kay was extremely helpful with booking the lodges for me, she is very friendly and really easy to talk to. She was there to welcome us on arrival and even helped me out with an unwell child incident, which was definitely above and beyond!

The Lodges were warm and welcoming, with fresh milk in the fridge and tea, coffee and snacks for our arrival which was a really nice touch.

The lodges were very clean and well equipped with everything needed in a home away from home.

Ten of us went on this holiday and all ten were very impressed with our accommodation. We were only there for five nights and two of the days we stayed in playing board games which says a lot for how comfortable it was.

Kay and her family have been accommodating people for seventeen years, but it feels like they have just started out with the enthusiasm from Kay and the attention to detail she and her family put in.

Well done to them! We will definitely be back and I have already recommended this destination to everyone I have spoken to about our holiday.

The shower head bracket was broken and the head would not stay up right ,one of the couches was very uncomfortable to sit on and the double bed dipped in the middle and for the money we payed for the accommodation I think they could of supplied bath towels.

We keep spare shower head holders so could have fixed that instantly, so sorry that it made your showers tricky. You will be delighted to know that we have taken delivery of a new “club” mattress by Dovetail of Dundee and it has been installed in the lodge. We can’t always guarantee that our mattresses will suit every guest but your specific feedback made purchasing a new mattress an easy one for us, so thanks so very much for this. We hope that you might return in the future and would love to meet you all again

Just had another very good stay at the Ericht Lodges. Lodges well equipped and located.
Drimmie Lodge is a little smaller than one or two of the others and unlike some of the others has no bath if that's your preference (as it is for my wife). However that wouldn't prevent us booking the lodge again if others already taken.
Kay very friendly and helpful if you have any queries or issues.

Arriving at Ericht Lodges we were welcomed by Kay & shown our accommodation "Drimmie Lodge" a beautiful setting just a few yards from the River Ericht.
The location Rattray / Blairgowrie is very central to Glamis, Perth, Dundee, St Andrews, Edinburgh & so many other highlights.
Kay is very approachable & so, so helpful. If you want to give yourself a relaxing break try Ericht Holiday Lodges, we definitely recommend.

We had a very friendly welcome. The lady was so helpful. She gave us plenty of information on things we can do in the area. Later on I phoned her to ask how to operate the tv. Again, she gave me good instructions. Later on I noticed it was all in the welcome book at the lodge. But the boss lady was so helpful to make sure we are happy with everything.

This booking had been put back a couple of times due to Covid19. But Kay was very helpful in rearranging. The Lodges are very well equipped, even had WiFi which I wasn't expecting in the lodge we'd booked. Location also very good for getting around. Lodges in very peaceful and relaxing situation.

We had a four night stay in Drimmie Lodge. Kay was very helpful and showed us everything we needed to know and some information about the area.
The lodge itself was fine for us, having one double room (also a small room with bunk beds). There’s everything you need for a short break including free view tv and a little balcony. We were very lucky that the weather was lovely so we used this a lot.
The location is fantastic, just next to the River Ericht and a ten minute stroll over the bridge to Blairgowrie where there are beautiful riverside walks.
Would definitely recommend to others if you want a peaceful few days in a spectacular setting

We had a warm welcome to Ericht and reassured that the lodge was extremely clean and hygiene top notch.
Good facilities in the lodge and in a lovely location for the town of Blairgowrie. Unfortunately the lodge is a little too sheltered under trees to get any of the sun in the afternoon or evening but lovely walks at your door step.
Would recommend here for short stays for couples.

This is our fourth visit to Ericht Holiday Lodges and would never go anywhere else now.So glad my neighbour recommended it. We love the tranquil surroundings, so peaceful.
It is really central for surrounding places to visit. For e.g. shops, lovely walks, plenty places to eat, just an all round great holiday.

Have been going to Blairgowrie for years now. Love to see Perthshire in all seasons. Chalets have a great location if you dont want to do much - stroll around the many walks or do a bit of shopping. If you do want to go sight seeing there are plenty of places to go.
Dundee and Perth a short distance away by car. Great location if you have a dog.
We just keep going back and every time we find somewhere different to see.

We stayed here for 2 weeks with our dog and loved it. The lodges are set in a stunning and relaxing location just 10 mins walk from Blairgowrie and is a great base from which to explore the beauty of Perthshire (Dunkeld, Pitlochry and the Cairngorms are a must!). The lodges are next to the river Ericht with some stunning riverside walks. I would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here, the owners are welcoming and friendly but not intrusive and the lodge is comfortable and relaxing, we were blessed with good weather but I can imagine it to be really cozy if it’s cold as there is central heating and there are good cooking facilities if you are self catering. Was also impressed with the mini recycling centre, my only disappointment was not seeing the elusive red squirrel, hardly the owners fault!

Had a wonderful holiday at Drimmie Lodge, Weather was fantastic, Lodge was very comfortable, Excellent base for exploring and good quality Butchers and Bakery shops. Kay and Alan were very friendly and met some nice people while on holiday, A ten minute walk took you to the Town Centre, and there was plenty of walking all around you with no need to take the car, just put on your walking boots and head out from the lodge Would recommend and would return.

We stayed at the lodge for a week in August. The location is great, just 10 mins walk into town, just off the A 93 but when you are in the lodge you can't hear any road noise. The Lodge is comfortable and well appointed ideally suiting a couple or family of four. Kay and Alan make sure you have a great stay. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return again with no hesitation.

Rented one of these for one week. The weather was pretty good so the cabin suited our needs very well, didn't want for any utensils or equipment. Laundry room at the end of the drive, would have been a bonus to have own washing machine. All power/heating included. Could imagine if the weather was poor it may have felt a bit dark and cramped only because of the low lying location (not a lodge fault). Nice and quiet with the river flowing at the rear of property, surrounded by mature trees. Town location was good, lots of local eateries and bakeries etc. with a larger supermarket chain if preferred.

We were looking to get away for some peace & quiet and thats exactly what we got at Ericht Holiday Lodges.It was a lovely lodge and provided everything we needed.The owner was lovely and came with us to the lodge when we arrived to explain how everything worked and also what was in and around the area.Its only about a 10 minute walk into Blairgrowrie where there is ample shops and cafes,Would highly recommend and we'll certainly be going back.

Our visit to Blairgowrie was for a family visit. I was a little bothered when we arrived to find the lodge surrounded by so many trees and taking into account the time of year I was concerned about feeling cold and damp. I was pleasantly surprised with the interior of the lodge and to find it very warm and comfortable. The bed was both warm and comfortable. The shower easy to use. Overall the lodge was adequate for our needs and hopefully we will be back in the spring.

Cannot fault the lodges, very clean and comfortable. Nothing was forgotten about, Lovely and warm with everything you need for your stay. I think it was the most comfortable bed I've ever had the pleasure of sleeping in and even had a look what the mattress was called so I could get one for home.

Kay, the owner welcomed us and gave us lots of information about the local area and places to go and eat etc. It was nice and quiet with just the sound of the river from the bedroom window. Would most definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others

Enjoyed a lovely weekend at Ericht Lodges. We stayed in the Drimmie Lodge which was equipped with everything for a weekend away - fridge, Sky, kettle, etc.
I had mentioned during booking that we were up for a birthday, and on arrival we found a very thoughtful bottle and card left for us - thanks!
The host, Kay, was very helpful! We had planned a snowboarding lesson at Glenshee and she was very quick to offer further info and tips for the weekend. Unfortunately there was not enough snow for our lessons however there were plenty of booklets and local leaflets in the lodge that we managed to plan 2 days of activities as an alternative.
Went for dinner at the local Cargill's which was lovely and so convenient with the lodges being on the outskirts of Blairgowrie.
Would definitely visit again!

The lady that owns the lodges was very helpful and full of local knowledge. Found the local people very friendly.
The lodge itself was located in a quiet cul de sac, so nice and peaceful if you like that in your holiday, lots of trees and with the river running down edge of the park about 100 metres away. It has been noted that squirrels have been seen, sadly we didn't see any. Lots of birds to observe and listen to. Close to walks for all abilities which our dog enjoyed.
The lodge itself was well maintained, with the comfiest proper bed, all made up in good quality bedding.
Spotlessly clean bathroom and kitchen. In fact spotless everywhere.
We would stay again.

The lodge was ideal and was very clean. It was equipped with everything we needed. On arrival the staff could not have been more helpful and lovely, nothing was to much trouble. The lodge was very comfortable and was in an excellent location. It also had a beautiful river at back of lodge. Ideal for sporty, outdoor folks or just people who want to chill out and have a rest.

It is such a lovely place and lovely people including the people in Blairgowrie. We loved the shops where we got a friendly welcome and great assistance when we needed it. All of the surrounding area is truly beautiful and very good roads.

We love staying at Ericht Holiday Lodges we have been before and will be back again next month and all being well we will return next year. It is a great place to stay, we have nothing but praise to say about this place. We say it is amazing.
