We chose the lodge primarily because it is near to family but also because of its setting in the trees near the river. It was a home from home with everything we needed. Kay is an excellent host and as a result all ran smoothly from checkin to leaving. Well recommended for a visit to Blairgowrie and the surrounding area.

Booked a 3 night stay in the Shee lodge for my daughter's birthday. Easy to find, down quite a steep hill to the lodges. Phoned the owner on arrival - a short wait to check in as other guest were checking in at the same time. Shown around the lodge by the owner and lots of info etc on how things worked. Lodge was spacious enough for the three of us and our dog. Lodge was clean apart from the bathroom floor which may have been missed but overall fine. We did notice that the Shee lodge had cameras above the small deck at the front and a camera on the back of lodge too.Not sure why as the other...more
Really enjoyed the south facing lodge, felt like you were in a woodland and very private. Kay was really helpful and allowed our friends to park their camper van a couple of nights to stay with us. Easy 10 minute river walk into town. I would cut back the tree in front of the lodge to allow more sunlight in the- only my opinion. We would come back if we are in Blairgowrie again x
Parking could be better as when it’s wet it was difficult parking on the wet and a bit muddy slope. It was quite and near the shops or places to visit.
I've been staying at Ericht lodges many times and it's simply the best self-catering accommodation in the most beautiful location in the area. Everything is perfect and there is nothing missing!
