We had a lovely few days staying in Manor House as a family of four with teenage children and a dog. The house was spacious and well furnished throughout and could easily cater for larger groups. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of crockery and cutlery and it even has two dishwashers and kettles. We were concerned that being a larger property it may not be heated very well, but we found it to be cosy and warm which was lovely. It is in a fantastic location close to Cromer town centre and beach and there are plenty of dog friendly walks and places to eat in and around Cromer.
A beautifully preserved Old Town Hall Large spacious bedrooms with en suites. Beds comfortable. Lots of hot water as required. Lovely main room to eat, relax and cook overlooking the town Close access to everything including the beach
The Den is in an ideal location. Its situated in a quiet and peaceful area of Sheringham. It is exceptionally well equipped and although we ate out I would have been able to cook and serve meals with no problems. It is spotlessly clean and its the only self catering place I don't have to wash crockery just to be careful! This must be our 4th stay at the Den and it never disappoints. Sandra and Trevor are lovely folk and welcoming hosts. We will be returning!
Loved our stay in The Hive. We were met with an excellent welcome basket. The house was spotless with good quality, comfortable furniture. Very well equipped kitchen. Hope to return very soon
A lovely modern house well situated for both shops and beach. It was very comfortable with space for all the family both inside and out, the large outside space has several seating areas as well as a large dining table. There was a good supply of crockery, glassware and cutlery which isn't always the case in rental properties!
Our 5th stay in Gansey Cottage. The location is perfect for the shops. Sheringham is also the perfect starting point for coastal walks to Cromer or Weybourne. Cley, Blakeney, Wells & Holt are only a short drive or bus journey away. Perfect.
This was our third time at the holiday house. A good place to stay. Walkable into Cromer, warm and all needs met. Would stay here again and again !!
Very modern and well equipped top floor apartment. Lots of natural light. Great position, just 2 minutes to beach, shops, restaurants and theatre. Not a problem for us but worth pointing out that it is 2 flights of stairs to apartment. Parking at rear of house. Turn left outside apartment and either way you come to the beach. We love Sheringham and visit there at least twice a year. Great bus and rail services. Very reliable service. We would certainly stay at The Cockles again.
A lovely few days away in a lovely flat. Everything you could need, and would recommend to others. Thank you
Once again we’ve had a superb week in this delightful cottage. It’s always lovely and clean. Attractively decorated and furnished. Next to the sea and just around the corner for lots of shops and cafes.
Only a few steps from the beach and town, Gull View is well equipped and furnished and most things seem new. There was also a substantial welcome tray of locally produced goodies. I could have sat at the high window and watched the sea for hours. (FYI, the view isn't visible from the sofa if that matters to you.) As is clear from the description, there are sloping rooves but I didn't find them in the way.
We have been staying every year here since 2009. There have been many upgrades to the cottage over the years it provides a clean, comfortable cottage in a lovely location. We will be back next year!
Myself, my niece & her two children had a fantastic stay at chalet number 53. It was very clean & had every thing we needed. The complimentary milk, biscuits & crisps were a nice thought. The bunk beds with the larger bottom bunk was a great idea. The location was great too being within walking distance of the town.
Lovely house … but a struggle for us as 5 adults & 1 bathroom… but this is my fault .. should have realised .. but we made the best of it .. great location , kitchen etc … would book again , with just my husband , & grandchild.
Very enjoyable that provided everything required for our holiday. Nice and tidy and in a brilliant location.
Had a great stay at the corner house lovely and clean nice small garden which was great for the dog the location was superb.
This was our first stay at Beulah house. It certainly lived up to our expectations. It is a fabulous holiday property; it is well appointed, beautifully decorated and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. We had a fabulous week and wouldn’t hesitate in booking again. One slight disadvantage for us was having to take our own bed linen, towels and tea towels - it was a lot of extra carriage in an already full car! But that wouldn’t prevent us from re-booking.
The property is lovely! Plenty of space, and a lovely view from the sunny conservatory, although it could get rather hot in there at times, particularly if you didnt draw the bilnds. The dishwasher was a real luxury! Very close to the heritage and also National rail station. One reason we visited was because we wanted to travel on the North Norfolk Heritage Steam Railway. Also, not taking a car meant the National rail station was very useful for getting around. Loved the Norfolk Broads! And the early morning sunrises! A few minor issues: the single bed duvets wouldn’t stay on, but found a...more
Have stayed in Sherringham lots of times over the years and this is the best accommodation we have found. 1 minute walk to the top end of high street. 5 minutes walk to the beach. The house is immaculate and the garden patio area is very pleasant. Private off road parking is also a bonus.
It’s our fourth visit to the Old Bakehouse. Feels like home. Beautiful bedding and comfortable as well. Difficult settee though.
Lovely weekend with comfortable accommodation at Poppy cottage with everything for our needs will be booking again
Stayed at Railway view in Cromer for the first time last week. Amazing property. Close to town centre and beach with the added bonus of a Morrisons at the end of the road! Property had everything that a family of 5 needs. Only issue (not that it affected our stay too much) was the lack of water pressure in the en suite shower. Enjoyed so much have booked another weeks stay next year!
A really nice clean well equipped chalet, situated in an ideal spot out of the village but close enough if you wanted to walk, also very quite and nice short walks on the top of the cliffs
Quaint cottage in the centre of north Norfolk. Very clean with all the amenities you could need. Lovely back garden. We have booked for next year already.
This was our second stay. Everything was fine though we did report that a radiator was not heating up. Amorel is within walking distance of the station which is welcome since parking is not as easy as it was in the time of the Burlington which we often stayed at ! Comfy beds!
Keys were very helpful with the booking and directions . When we arrived it was spotless and there wasn't anything missing that we required. We had a really enjoyable break and can't wait to come again.
We have just returned from another stay in this comfortable house. It’s perfect for us and our 2 dogs. A short walk from the high street and close enough to walk to the beach. Everything you need is provided in the kitchen if you are self catering. The lounge is very comfortable for the evening but we use the sofa in the kitchen if we’re in during the day as it’s a nice sunny area. The bathroom is adequate and the bedroom is very comfortable. We find plenty to do in this lovely part of North Norfolk with it’s beautiful coastline and several National Trust properties to visit close by. I...more
Very comfortable holiday home.Good quiet location, well equipped, kitchen, enclosed garden and dog friendly.
We had lots of things to do in our week,It was the first time we stayed at Canary Cottage, which we found to be an ideal base, very comfortable ,lovely garden and everything we needed. Really wished we could have had another week.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, lovely quiet location with relaxing views and we enjoyed our walks into the town via the coastal promenade and a good work out up to the top of Beeston Bump. Plenty to do in the area for all ages. The only negatives were that there was some dirty crockery in the cupboard and cutlery very smeary/greasy - probably not checked after being dishwashed, the tv was quite a fudge and firstly managed to get one channel and on second day more successful after changing around the batteries (maybe could do with updating instructions as remotes not originals). We d...more
My 3rd visit to this cottage cosy and well equipped. Near the beach great food in the village pub. However the house next door is undergoing a complete renovation lots of banging and drilling from 7/8 am each morning. The noise and dust made it impossible to sit in the garden. As I understand it this project will take months.
The location is outstanding! The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and you name it, it is there: Games, Playing cards, Books, DVDs, Needlework kit, Dog treats, Nappies etc. The showers are superb, great pressure and temperature. The only slight niggle, we had a few nights in due to the weather and the TV could be a little bigger and have better sound.
It was excellent property for our purposes - with two dogs we need a garden & this was just fine. Because of the need for security for the dogs, having unloaded our luggage & using the front door we then double locked the front door & used the back door for dog walking excursions. Our only suggestion would be to have a back door external light for these dark nights. Location great for sea, shops & eateries. Car parking wonderful. The only thing we had trouble with was the TV. Someone had tampered with the controls & we could not get any stations. It was fixed by Monday (third day), & the eng...more
Again we had a lovely holiday. The Sidings is perfect home from home with an ideal setting and location.
Great spot, quiet ,very clean, everything you meed. Would book again. Beautiful walk to beach and town.
Have stayed In Sheringham a few times and Philps Cottage was a wonderful place to stay and enjoy this great seaside town, literally a minutes walk from the High Street shops, cafes , Pub and other great shops ( what High Streets used to be like with varied shops catering for everyone ) . Phiips Cottage was also ideal as off street parking on its own drive and a lovely lawned and patioed rear garden. The Cottage itself was spacious , warm and well appointed .
Secret Garden was/is perfectly situated for easy access to the town, well equipped and very comfortable.
Property is very convenient, being just at the end of the main high street. It is a quirky old fisherman’s cottage, that has been sympathetically updated with modern day bathroom. After driving 235 miles, we arrived 4 pm on Friday afternoon, and was very disappointed to discover there was no iron/ board, however the ‘Keys’ office had an iron, so I didn’t have to purchase one, whilst I was grateful to them, this meant we had to wait for them to re-open on the Monday, to return it. I also discovered a chipped plate, cracked plastic plate and drink spills on the stair carpet. I think it would b...more
Morris House and Keys Cottages gave us a great break in Sheringham. Everything was well organised, smooth and provided us with a lovely short holiday. Once we arrived, our cars were not used! The sea was truly a two minute walk away, and we enjoyed walking the coast and trips to Cromer on the train. Fish and chips, ice cream - it was a traditional seaside pleasure, and Morris House gave us a luxury base. Thank you!
Great little chalet. Beautifully clean. Well equipped, especially the kitchen, which looked very new. Lovely quiet location but within walking distance of supermarket and more importantly the beach. Would definitely recommend and hope to go back soon.
This is our 5th stay in the cottage and the changes made since our last visit some years ago were very welcome. Has everything you could need, close to the beach/promenade but still peaceful. Clean on arrival and clean when we left as i don,t cook on holiday and we were out everyday, lovely and warm when we got back in after our days out. Would recommend .
Very good value for money Stayed 3 times and will stay again next year. handily placed for all amenities
The house is spacious. We were 6 adults and 2 young children with plenty of space and bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. It was clean and beautifully presented and it was well equipped. The children loved playing in the front garden which was safe for them. It is a 2 minute walk from the beach and 3 minutes from the town centre. We had a brilliant holiday.
The lounge was warm and comfortable with a lovely sea view. It had a well equipped kitchen and bathroom. It was in a very good location and had parking for one car. And it was good value for money. The main bedroom was a bit musty Bedding was not provided and it would have nice to have the beds made up for us after a long journey. It was also extra things to bring. We could not find the welcome pack and it took a while to work out how to turn on the heating and the switches for the shower, the extractor fan and heated towel rail. We had a good holiday and would come again...more
Keys are always amazing in their customer service. Efficient and friendly. We always book with them. Compass Rose is a home from home. Comfortable, clean and very spacious. A perfect position for the beach and town and added bonus of having 2 parking spaces.
Lovely cosy cottage, great location very well equipped.Would definitely stay again. Double bedroom very low ceiling!!
The directions to the property were good, and it was as advertised. The owner was very friendly and helpful on our arrival. It was well equipped and nicely furnished. A very peaceful place to stay and a good location for everything we planned to do
An excellently fitted chalet every thing we needed was provided, a very smart park , a pleasent walk to the town and beach, very quiet and peaceful. The bedroom was rather small so not easy to move about in and the main area a little over furnished but overall very nice.
Great location and lovely house. We had a great week. Sofas need looking at as do the deck chairs. And rubbish bin emptying.
The location is very good 5 minutes walk to the shops and the seafront. Private parking was very good although a little bit alkward getting out onto the fairly busy road due to parked cars. Spacious lounge/diner, decent size kitchen but too many heavy fire doors. Step up to the good sized ground floor bedroom should have a warning strip on it.bed not that comfortable. A bit OTT on the fire prevention, I know it is very important but loads of fire alarms emergency lighting and a very perilous fire exit seemed a bit OTT. The stair rail was so close to the wall halfway up the stairs it couldn't...more
everything we needed for a short stay- including bed linen - thanks. liked private garden area and welcome from neighbour/owner
Well equipped. comfy beds , good location . Lots of places to visit . good bus service, Sheringham is a lovely place to visit , nice shops good food
what can I say! Everything about this holiday was as I liked. Myself the cottage is the sort of place that I could live at, nice and cosy and the location was spot on. Sheringham it’s self nice lots of little shops and plenty of places to eat, have a drink or just sit and relax. Also enjoyed the ride on the steam train, which brought back memories . Visit to the horse sanctuary and Cromer. Best holiday for a long time for me. Well done
So close to the town center and the beach. Perfect. Street parking is of course a lottery but we always found somewhere on a near street. Only complaint which are both small….. no oven glove and one set of bath towels short. Lots of hot water. Comfy beds. Well stocked kitchen for cooking stuff. Lots of seating in lounge. Would highly recommend.
This was our sixth visit to The Flints in three years so we must like it there. One or two areas for improvement though. The bath is rather deep , especially for older people, so a walk in shower would be of great benefit. Also the easy chairs in the lounge are uncomfortable and need replacing. Lastly the premises would benefit from wifi. Despite these comments we are looking forward to returning next year.
Lots of dust, cobwebs and dog hair didn't look as if it had been thoroughly cleaned for a long time I had to clean it myself!
We booked a short stay Wednesday to Sunday. The parking is tight as documented, we took a MG HS and made it through okay. The property is dated and dirty marks on carpets and furniture, unpleasant odour in front room but we got some air freshener to solve it. Lots of cobwebs and appliances were not clean, we contacted Keys and a cleaner was sent back within the hour. Double bed in back bedroom was hard, suited my mother though as has a bad back. Had everything in apart from a hairdryer! Great location can be a little noisy at night with people are coming home from the local pub but doesn’t las...more
The property is in a wonderful position and has all you would need for a couple. It could do with some refurbishment now such as carpets, curtains and surfacing of the patio area. The chairs in the lounge are not very comfortable. It suffers from some damp and mold due to the age of the property.
Enjoyed our stay ,in this lovely little cottage it has everything you need for a relaxing break, and lovely walk to Sheringham and Cromer on the beach. Fish and chips at the local Wills fish & chip shop was amazing.
A return visit to Sheringham and Edal Court. We always try to book this flat because of its location, parking and space. We enjoyed our stay!
We absolutely loved the bungalow, which felt like staying at my grandparents when I was young. The decor and the feel was comforting. The layout was great and we had everything we needed. We did have a power cut which was fun, but expected as we read the welcome pack! There are a few bits that need updating, which adds to the lived in feel I guess. We did bring extension cables, but having just the one plug next to the bed for the light is tricky. We were so grateful that the owner leant us the garage key, as we were charging a wheelchair outside and lucky the weather was ok. It took the pre...more
We booked our stay in Sheringham as there was a steam train to Holt a bustling shopping opportunity and a number of quality restaurants. The house Seaview retreat was absolutely spotless but a good 20 minute walk into town which was the only real downside to our stay which we really enjoyed, Sheringham is a good base for trips to other special locations such as Cromer or Wells next the sea,
We loved our holiday at 38 Albert Street and our dog liked his walks to holt Country park and the town centre
We enjoyed our stay at little lodge, spacious and a nice garden to relax in. Unfortunately the garden was looking a little unkempt and the man never showed up to cut the grass ! It said on Mondays , but it wasn't done. Also a sun brolly and sun chairs would have been good. The other issue was the bed which was uncomfortable as the mattress was lumpy.overall it was satisfying.
A lovely, very well equipped cottage, easy walk to both shops and the sea. Nicely decorated, light and contemporary. The only criticisms are the sofa which is not very comfortable, and the hard pillows! Sheringham is lovely, lots to do there and in the surrounding area.
This is my second stay, Location is brilliant, as its a 10 min walk to the prom, beach, and 10min walk into town centre, had a great week, weather was sunny for most of the week. Wifi was good also. I hope to stay again soon.
Nice cottage good location well suited for a family of 3 or 4, a bit of a squeeze for 4 adults but manageable. All in all a very enjoyable stay.
The lodge is situated on the outskirts of North Walsham so it was perfect for days out to the very near Norfolk coast . Bacton woods ideal for dog walking as like all the near by beaches of Bacton Mundsley & Happisbough . If your looking for a quiet place to stay its perfect but you need to use a car as no where close for good dog walking unless you walk around housing estates. There are no amenities on site the Olive tree appears to have been closed for a far while now as a resident informed us. There is a pub opposite the entrance family & dog friendly. lidl & Sainsbury’s close but car requ...more
Great location, close to amenities, sea, shops pubs etc, shame had to pay for parking,no WiFi ,place was comfy, but maybe could do with some updating, but would stay again
The chalet is nice the only thing it needs is new beds and pillows they are lumpy and uncomfortable. The shower needs a good clean on the quite a bit of mold. Other than that was a good experience
A very comfortable and clean house and exactly as described. Keys staff were friendly and welcoming.
Once again we have really enjoyed our third stay at 9 Canada Road it is ideal for me,my daughter and son in law very clean nd comfortable and of course the unexpectedly fine weather helped. The accommodation is just right for us very cosy and everything you need is there. It is in a good position for both the beach and town highly recommended.
Stayed here for 5 nights, as it was the end of September the parking space wasn’t as much of a big win as it would have been if we had stayed there in June as the town was reasonably quiet. We were able to reverse our family car onto the drive no problem. There is a bollard/post on the drive to avoid others parking on it but we were never able to lock it and a neighbour told us that all the time it’s been in situ no one apart from the cleaner has been able to use it. Lounge is comfortable but there is no Smart TV which makes evening entertainment a bit dull if you are home early. Dining room i...more
Cosy cottage, very well equipped. Good location near the centre of Sheringham and as a base for visiting North Norfolk. Downsides were the busy road as it is on a main road and the size of the second bedroom. It says it sleeps 4 but should be specified two adults and 2 small children as the bunk beds were tiny. Also the stairs were narrow and steep but we were already told that.
Anchor cottage is the perfect place for a small family to stay. It is so close to the beach and shops that we were able to regularly pop back to pick up/drop items or use the toilet. The kitchen has everything you might need for. Self-catering holiday and the fact that each bedroom has a toilet is really useful. The only downside to this property is its size. Although it has 3 decent sized bedrooms, the living room would be tight for more than 4 adults. The only other inconvenience is the lack of a hall or porch to put shoes and coats. This resulted in us all leaving our shoes and coats in the...more
Hi we had a very good time at,7 the gap. Good location and very quiet,,we could park the car next to the caravan, very good thank you.
Property has a beautiful garden with a southerly aspect with sunshine on the patio for most of the day. Within walking distance of the beach and local shop. However the mattresses are tired and uncomfortable and need replacing. The 3 piece suite is old, worn and uncomfortable. Wouldn’t take a lot of money to improve the property and bring it up to the standard other cottages provide for a similar price.
A nice cottage for two. Very handy for the town and beach. It is small, but has everything you need for a holiday stay, the only thing we found wanting was a shaver/toothbrush socket. It's surprisingly quiet at night, for a town centre location. We found the beds a bit soft, but that's just a preference. A good-sized TV downstairs, with a DVD player for when it rains!
Clean and cosy cottage, with parking. Close to sea and town. We had an enjoyable week here and hope to visit again.
I booked this property as I had stayed here before, and its situated on a quiet private road, near to the beach, with a garden to sit out in, and central for visiting various places on the coast. This made it ideal as I was taking my elderly mother with me. However, our peaceful holiday was spoilt by the building work taking place on both neighbouring properties, the one directly opposite and another at the end of the road. I was woken each morning, by the sound of cement mixers, angle grinders, drilling, hammering, radios, shouting etc, which went on all day. Just as annoying were the number ...more
