Having selected this caravan for its location, it did not disappoint. It was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The beach was almost in touching distance, and the local shop, pub and fish and chip shop only minutes away.
Had an excellent stay on Church Street. The apartment is very spacious and well equipped and ideally located in the centre of Cromer. Great communication and we had a very enjoyable stay. Thank you!
The Chalet was great for me. It was clean, great location and the park itself was very nice and quiet. The only downside as far as I was concerned was that there was no internet. I had just assumed it would be provided and it was highly inconvenient and would mean I wouldn't use the property when I return to Cromer next year and why I can't recommend it to others. Apart from that it was perfect.
Virtually everything had been thought of on arrival at this lovely property. The owners have clearly spared no expense decorating and equipping this property with everything you would hope to find home from home. I had a very enjoyable stay and looked forward to arriving back in the evenings. It was super-clean and exceptionally comfortable. The boiler kept the temperature just right. It was also much appreciated that I could pull the car off the road onto the drive outside. It is a beautiful building, very well-kept, inside and out and with a very individual style that suits the house and goe...more
Everything is only a few steps away from , trains , buses or taxis , shops , pubs and cafe’s , lovely walks . Sheringham has everything . The Hive is a lovely house to stay at .
We have just enjoyed another superb holiday at the Den, matched only by the warm welcome from Sandra and Trevor. This is our 5th visit and yet again we have been blessed with lovely weather and accommodation of the highest standard. Many thanks. Elsie and Terry
We have stayed at the Cockles twice. The facilities are all top standard. It has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms but for us it’s perfect just for the 2 of us ( as we both get our own fully equipped bathroom). The shops, takeaways, bakeries, butchers are just a short walk away. The buses are great and can get you all along the North Norfolk coast and into Norwich. Please also try the local Sheringham Theatre, it deserves our support. For us, we always visit the Horse Sanctuary in West Runton, Holt garden centre, The Priory maze and book Sunday lunch at Burlington Bertie’s Hotel. The Cockles has e...more
We were delighted with the house upon arrival and it didn’t disappoint. It had all the home comforts required for a family‘s holiday base and it was furnished to a high standard. There was plenty of space throughout the house and it was well stocked. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. The garden was beautiful and we were able to enjoy the summer evenings sitting comfortably at the garden furniture. We will definitely be back!
We were a party of 11, 6 adults 4 children and a baby, and this property gave us all the space we needed. Not just the beds (the bedrooms are massive!) but living space as well. Two living rooms, the dining room where the boys built their Lego in the morning (hope you don't stand on any bits we've left behind!) and a garden that we sat in most evenings once the little ones were in bed. We parked 3 cars on the driveway and could easily have fitted a forth on there. The house is set back two junctions from the beach - you wouldn't want it any closer, and there are restaurants and pubs a s...more
this is the second time we have stayed here , the house is perfect in every way , equipped to the highest standard with many added little touches. A perfect position within a 20 minute walk to the town centre in a peaceful neighbourhood. we will certainly be returning again
A well appointed cottage. Great location and quiet. Easy to access all amenities on foot in Sheringham. Comfortable and warm cottage which was well equipped and nicely decorated.A very comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. As we only stayed for 4 days getting up at 8am to feed the meter was a chore but fortunately the car park was right behind the cottage.
A lovely few days away in a lovely flat. Everything you could need, and would recommend to others. Thank you
We have stayed in many many chalets here, over many years and this one is by far the best! Modern, clean, well equipped, comfortable and homely! We will definitely book Number 53 again and would highly recommend!
Having stayed many times at gul view, never disappointed. The comfy flat has everything you need for your holiday, close to all Sheringhams lovely beaches and attractions, with the benefit of your own parking. Highly recommend.
A beautiful homely holiday home. Everything to a very high standard in a lovely setting. Very easy access to Sheringham Town and Beach. Will definitely book here again.
We love the location of this cottage, right by the sea and close to all amenities. Its a 2 minute walk to pubs and 5 minutes from the main street. Nothing much has changed of late and it is perhaps ready for a little update in parts. There is plenty of free parking around Sheringham so this has never been a problem. I am sure we will visit again
We stayed in Marriots Way for our 2wk summer break again this year (3rd yr running) and found everything to be perfect as usual. So clean and comfortable and a good situation for us train enthusiasts. The ladies at Keys Holidays are just the best! Very professional, helpful and friendly. We would not use anyone else so thankyou Louise - see you next year (booked already ) Joyce and Dave Barker.
Very enjoyable that provided everything required for our holiday. Nice and tidy and in a brilliant location.
Beautiful apartment, very impressed with the high standard, thoroughly enjoyed our stay, already looking forward to our booking for next year. Regards Sally and Stephen Donnelly.
This flat was supper it had everything you would need with one exception, WiFi. It’s an essential these days and we missed it. To use the library WiFi you have to become a member so this wasn’t an option. WiFi would also enable full use of the two smart TVs as we found IPlayer wasn’t supported. A thought for the summer months, as ours was a particularly hot week and with a very sunny south facing conservative the fans were working really hard to cool the rest of the rooms in the flat. Air conditioning would have made the bedrooms more comfortable especially at night. Thanks for a smashing w...more
Have stayed in Sherringham lots of times over the years and this is the best accommodation we have found. 1 minute walk to the top end of high street. 5 minutes walk to the beach. The house is immaculate and the garden patio area is very pleasant. Private off road parking is also a bonus.
Me and my family have stayed here for last 4 years always found it clean tidy. Nice and central location.
A really nice clean well equipped chalet, situated in an ideal spot out of the village but close enough if you wanted to walk, also very quite and nice short walks on the top of the cliffs
A real gem of a cottage in a lovely location. So peaceful overlooking the common and yet only a 10 minute (at most) walk into town and all its amenities. Also very close to good bus service. Cottage was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything you might need. The garden at the rear is an added bonus and a lovely spot to sit and enjoy a bit of sunshine. The dog loved exploring on the common and it's a great place to exercise your pet when you don't want to go on a longer walk. Lots of other walks on the doorstep too.
South Side was a lovely cottage, with everything you could need for your stay. Parking at the front was perfect for one vehicle. Lovey bathroom with spacey shower. Plenty of room in the rest of the cottage. The cottage is situated within an easy drive of some great places. It is a short walk from the beach. Close to a pub, and a village cafe.
A very clean house, and great location. On site parking is a big bonus. However - no towels provided of any sort - bath, hand, or bath mat. A surprising omission compared to other holiday lets. With five bathrooms, that’s a lot of towels you need to bring with you! Kitchen was not particularly well-stocked with glassware, which is challenging for larger groups.
This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Deck 2 it is that good. It is the little things, like when you arrive after a long journey you see the note that says “ milk in fridge”.
We are returning visitors at Railway View & will definitely be back again. Nice & clean, very comfortable & has everything you need. Plus right in Cromer, so everything is walking distance
Lovely stay - good well enclosed property with a garden, very suitable with small kids. Close to the beach and rail station.
Hermit cottage was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and very well equipped. It is very well located in easy reach of shops, train station, bus stops and sea front. We found it perfect for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
Lovely little modern house close to town and short walk to the sea. Very clean and tidy. Small garden with outside seating.
Brilliant location, beautiful well equipped cottage. There was a minor issue with the shower; on contacting Keys this was resolved within an hour, thank you.
We had lots of things to do in our week,It was the first time we stayed at Canary Cottage, which we found to be an ideal base, very comfortable ,lovely garden and everything we needed. Really wished we could have had another week.
It has almost everything you may want in a large spacious House, apart from the out side seating area which only has 8 chairs for10 of us and very cramped behind a fence. ( oh and a chair in the main bedroom would be nice)
A chalet park we visit nearly every year and a chalet we have used more than once. It is always maintained to a very high standard in a beautiful, clean park. We have already booked up for a holiday in September in the same chalet. A great getaway for good value for money. A nice gesture for guests was a complimentary welcome box of biscuits and other bits and bobs.
Quaint little cottage, good position for walking the coastline, town, bus and train, everything you need inside cottage,3rd visit, not the last
A great location and a real bonus to have parking for three cars. The space worked well for our large family group.
Phillips cottage is a perfect location for shops and pubs in Sheringham. The off road parking is a bonus. Well equipped and comfortable the biscuits and milk were very welcome.
A beautiful, spacious house in a quiet part of town but within.easy walking distance to both seafront and shops. The house was spotless with lovely bedding and towels.
We've just returned from our 3rd stay at Repton Cottage. The house was just as we remembered, quiet, clean, cosy and very well equipped. The garden is a real sun trap & is a lovely quiet place to sit and relax. The cottage is conveniently situated with the beach a very short walk away and Cromer & Sheringham both a short drive away. Gail & Louise at Keys provided excellent service as usual, with great communication before, during & after our stay.
Great location for a week with the grandkids. You can just change into your swimwear and head to the beach and then pop back for lunch etc. Be aware that the windows facing the sea get dirty very quickly due to salt spray with every tide, so I used an extendable cleaner that I found in the apartment to clean them every day, early before the coffee shop underneath opened for business. Sam the housekeeper was super helpful and the kids loved the air hockey/pool table. We moved the mattress from one twin room into the other twin, as we had 3 boys and one girl, which there was just enough sp...more
Sheringham is such a lovely place, we will be visiting again in the future. The cottage was ideally situated close to all amenities.
Chalet was clean and comfortable but did smell a bit fusty. I don't think this accommodation is suited for 4 adults due to the seating in the lounge. We chose this accommodation due to it being really quiet as it was a much needed break for my husband .
Great cottage right next to sea and in heart of Sheringham. Loved downstairs but perhaps not the sofa bed it wasn’t comfortable for sitting. The stairs I expected from other reviews but it did put us off from using the double bed on top floor. The cottage had been very well renovated with good quality items. Great views. And a car park right next door that you can but a 7 week parking ticket which was so convenient!! The only thing I think was missing was more mirrors especially a full length one so you could check yourself b4 going out. You could put this in the middle floor bedroom back of ...more
The Sidings is a beautiful bungalow located so close to all the amenities of Sheringham. It is very much a home from home. Very comfortable accommodation with a lovely garden to sit in & enjoy the steam trains going by. Will definitely go again.
We enjoyed our stay at Sheringham at old school yard cottage my sister and brother in-law came with us it was their first visit to Sheringham we all had a good time .my. Husband and I have always stayed at the cottage it is in a great spot close too the beach , the pubs the shops everything is in walking distance and to visit other places they are just a short drive away also you can park just outside on a small driveway .As we have been a few times to the schoolyard cottage we are noticing over the different visits (over the years) the cottage itself could do with a good freshen up the pain...more
Views, walks and excellent Sheringham ambience-what more? Ideal parking and very comfortable accommodation
This cottage has everything you need to have a great time in sheringham, location close to high st ,parking for 2 vehicles, comfortable beds,3 toiletsand easÿ to use c/heating,just be aware there are a few steps on ground floor to negotiate.
I had a very pleasant 5-day stay with my dog. Chalet had everything I needed and was freshly decorated. Blossom was out and the site looked lovely.
The directions to the property were good, and it was as advertised. The owner was very friendly and helpful on our arrival. It was well equipped and nicely furnished. A very peaceful place to stay and a good location for everything we planned to do
The location of the Annexe on Morris Street is excellent and having a parking space was very good. However the kitchen and bathroom are very dated and in need of refurbishing. All other areas of the property were very good and spacious.
We love coming here as its such a lovely place to stay, clean, comfortable and very peaceful in such a lovely location. Would highly recommend.
We enjoyed our stay the house is comfortable and well equipped . Could have done with extra keys or key lock.
Excellent location near the high street in sheringham and we had a lovely holiday. Cottage was clean and comfortable especially the king size bed slept very well however, the decor required updating throughout the Cottage and garden in urgent need of attention.
This was our seventh visit to The Flints so we must like it. Brilliant location and parking. Three negative points as mentioned before, Needs a walk in shower as the bath is too deep for older people.Needs wi fi. also needs more comfortable lounge chairs.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Annies cottage. The welcome pack is ideal for the first cuppa when you arrive and we appreciate all the extra things provided. The rear garden looks fabulous, once a small raised patio it now has a lush green lawn with chairs and tables dotted about. Perfect in summer, especially for kids.
The apartment was immaculate and very comfortable, and well equipped. The parking space is a big bonus. Well located, nice and peaceful yet within easy walking distance of all Sheringham's shops and attractions.
The property is in a wonderful position and has all you would need for a couple. It could do with some refurbishment now such as carpets, curtains and surfacing of the patio area. The chairs in the lounge are not very comfortable. It suffers from some damp and mold due to the age of the property.
It was our third time staying in this property. It is spacious with a very comfortable sitting room and a large well equipped kitchen. The beds are very comfortable and there is adequate space to hang clothes. The large hall enables all beach equipment, body boards etc. to be stored out of the way. It is tastefully decorated with some lovely artwork’s. A great holiday home.
Enjoyed our stay ,in this lovely little cottage it has everything you need for a relaxing break, and lovely walk to Sheringham and Cromer on the beach. Fish and chips at the local Wills fish & chip shop was amazing.
Cottage is in a quiet and ideal location for exploring the North Norfolk Coast. We enjoyed a very relaxing stay.
We booked our stay in Sheringham as there was a steam train to Holt a bustling shopping opportunity and a number of quality restaurants. The house Seaview retreat was absolutely spotless but a good 20 minute walk into town which was the only real downside to our stay which we really enjoyed, Sheringham is a good base for trips to other special locations such as Cromer or Wells next the sea,
We enjoyed our stay at little lodge, spacious and a nice garden to relax in. Unfortunately the garden was looking a little unkempt and the man never showed up to cut the grass ! It said on Mondays , but it wasn't done. Also a sun brolly and sun chairs would have been good. The other issue was the bed which was uncomfortable as the mattress was lumpy.overall it was satisfying.
We had the most amazing holiday here. The house was set in a very quiet area but was so close to town that you wouldn’t have known. We enjoyed exploring the area and recommend this cottage for people to stay in. We were a four adult and 2 dog party and had so much space to spread out so we’re never in anyone’s way. Thank you for an amazing holiday.
Lovely location -easy access to town AND the brilliant seaview. I travelled by train but the carpark next door is a handy feature.
Checking in late on Saturday afternoon, we were disappointed to find the cottage was in poor condition. We contacted the booking agents, Keys Holiday Cottages, first thing on Monday; their manager visited the property and confirmed a lack of cleanliness and the many ongoing maintenance issues. The soft furnishings were filthy, as were the carpets. The worktops and table tops were sticky and the oven was disgusting. The double bed mattress and mattress topper were both heavily stained. The mattress protector was worn out, leaving the plastic layer exposed which made sleeping both uncomfor...more
Comfortable, clean and location good.its a great place to stay very little noise from around area or in the building
We spent 5 nights at 72 Kings Chalet Park. The accommodation was clean and very comfortable with everything we needed. The park was very quiet and relaxing surrounded by woods. A short walk to the the cliffs with beautiful sea views and a clifftop walk into Cromer. The weather was perfect, lovely walks along the beach and cliffs, sunsets from the cliffs. We had a lovely break and would recommend .
Well equipped property in excellent location, the lack of parking was easily sortable as the station car park is very close, no problem when planned. We however had 2 issues: the fire alarm started to sound and went on all night. The Emergency number we were given was not manned, so the alarm was not silenced, that was a totally unecessary problem, an emergency number should be exactly that undraining showers that needed clearing and shower controls being too stiff to use
Lovely cottage just two minutes from the sea front. Very well appointed, clean and lovely comfy beds. It had everything we needed. We cooked in the cottage most nights and there was a good selection of kitchen equipment. Off road parking was a bonus, although it is very tight getting up and down the street. Good central point for exploring. We weren’t sure what to expect when we booked this cottage, thought it might be very tiny but was surprisingly roomy. Surpassed all expectations and is one of the best we have stayed in.
A very comfortable and clean house and exactly as described. Keys staff were friendly and welcoming.
Cosy cottage, very well equipped. Good location near the centre of Sheringham and as a base for visiting North Norfolk. Downsides were the busy road as it is on a main road and the size of the second bedroom. It says it sleeps 4 but should be specified two adults and 2 small children as the bunk beds were tiny. Also the stairs were narrow and steep but we were already told that.
Anchor cottage is the perfect place for a small family to stay. It is so close to the beach and shops that we were able to regularly pop back to pick up/drop items or use the toilet. The kitchen has everything you might need for. Self-catering holiday and the fact that each bedroom has a toilet is really useful. The only downside to this property is its size. Although it has 3 decent sized bedrooms, the living room would be tight for more than 4 adults. The only other inconvenience is the lack of a hall or porch to put shoes and coats. This resulted in us all leaving our shoes and coats in the...more
We have for many years visited this house and found it an idea base for a great holiday. Pity dogs can't share the accommodation.
We loved our stay at Romany Rye. The cottage is warm and cosy and we loved its quirks. The location was perfect for us and our two young children. It's a 1 minute walk to the seafront and high street. The car parking space was an extra bonus.
A nice cottage for two. Very handy for the town and beach. It is small, but has everything you need for a holiday stay, the only thing we found wanting was a shaver/toothbrush socket. It's surprisingly quiet at night, for a town centre location. We found the beds a bit soft, but that's just a preference. A good-sized TV downstairs, with a DVD player for when it rains!
CLEANLINESS OK but could be improved: eg. skirting boards, and areas between bed and bedside table very dusty. Spiders on bathroom ceiling. Skirting by toilet grubby. I know that there is a quick turn around with holiday lets but this property would certainly have benefited from a deep clean. The dust was not helpful as I suffer from dust/pollen/hay fever. COMFORT generally good. Beds were comfy. Bucket chairs in TV room not comfy and more chairs needed. OK for 2 guests but more needed for 4-6 guests. Sofas were comfortable but old and tatty - perhaps cover/blanket could be provided to sav...more
