We stayed for the first week of the October half term with our 13 year old son and our English Springer Spaniel. It was the first holiday we have had in Norfolk and it will not be our last. Hopefully we can stay at Paddlestop House again as cannot fault it. The house is in a great location only a few minutes walk to the shops, pubs, restaurants and beach. The house it self has everything one could wish for-it was extremely clean ,beds very comfortable ,the decor is beautiful and absolutely love the artwork. The little touches such as the bread, butter, jam, milk and a bottle of wine in fridge...more
We had a wonderful stay at the Malting House the accommodation was excellent very well equipped and extremely clean could find no fault at all and we will come back next year. There are many places to visit nearby which makes it a very good place to stay.
Good weeks stay at this lovely apartment on the seafront in Sheringham. Very clean comfortable and well equipped with a good location for the beach, shops and local attractions. Already rebooked for next year.
This cottage was the cleanest we’d ever stayed in! Was immaculate and had everything we needed. Less than 5 minutes walk from the seafront and high street. Having parking was a fantastic bonus. Would definitely stay again.
With the exception of last year (due to covid), we have stayed at this cottage every Christmas for the last few years. Always clean and looked after and Sherringham is magical at Christmas too. Thanks again to Keys for a lovely stay.
We have been visiting Kelling Heath for my whole life!, frequently for the last 10 years. Plot 476 has been our favourite for the last 5 years with the previous caravan that occupied the plot, for its private yet sunny spot on the park. We were very sad to see it go at the end of 2020, so imagine our joy when the new kid in town was spotted in May 2021and was available to hire! The Dorchester at 476 did not disappoint. Everything we loved about the location on the park, with the added bonus of roomy, very comfortable, extremely well equipped accommodation to boot. Perfect
Amazing place do not hesitate to book it. Close to lovely places such as Sheringham Holt and Cromer. You should definitely visit Holt.
We had a great break, strand cottage is a lovely house. The cottage was very clean and comfortable; highly recommended.
Excellent property, lovely location, within walking distance of the town and railway station. Would definitely stay there again.
A very nice first floor flat , immaculate. Everything worked . Enjoyed the area and would be happy to book again.
Lovely little flat very clean & well set up. Very convenient for shops & sea front. Just one minor criticism the accommodation dies not include a washer or dishwasher. Apart from that flat lovely & I would highly recommend.
Just returned from a weeks stay at Sky View and cant wait to go back.Would definitely recommend....
We booked the house for the run up to Christmas and two days at Christmas. We loved everything about the house. It was immaculately presented, incredibly well equipped and perfectly located. I loved the little garden as there were still plants flowering. We loved the little extras too, for example the welcome pack and suggestions for local walks.
The accommodation in Beulah House was perfect for our extended family of 6. The house was comfortably furnished and very clean. The position was a few minutes from the beach and the high street with easy parking for our two cars. Would highly recommend this property and we hope to visit again.
We enjoyed a week at this very comfortable and spacious property. It was good to be only ten minutes from the nearest beach. Plenty of cooking equipment/crockery/glasses if catering for a houseful of people, and reasonably comfortable sofa and chair in the living room. If you like "shabby chic" style then you'll love this! The property benefits from parking and the mature gardens are delightful. It is dog-friendly and our labradoodle enjoyed the treats that were left and there was a good supply of towels and throws for his benefit.
Very peaceful and relaxing location close to Kelling Heath and the seafront. Excellent cottage for 2 people with ample space
Beautiful little cottage in an ideal location so close to the sea and town. Is next to a pub which can be a bit noisy with events but no problems - and we enjoyed listening to the live music. There was a leak in the dining room, which made the room unusable for one day after heavy rain but key cottages where lovely and said the owner was replacing the roof the next week so not a big issue! Stairs are typical of that style of building- definitely not for those who are physically disabled in anyway. My husband and I are both quite tall so care should be taken when climbing the stairs! ...more
The Penthouse was perfect in every way.. Location excellent being one minute from shops and couple of minutes to the sea but was very quiet. Simply everything you could need was supplied and the only thing that was missing were instructions for the TV in the sitting room, which seemed to be rather complicated. Lovely sea view from the large top floor bedroom. Bed and linen was all excellent. A fabulous stay
What a marvellous welcome the present were a lovely touch Would highly recommend this cottage loved it
Scrimshaw cottage was an ideal base for a weeks holiday. It's clean, has a very large comfy bed and sofas. Very well equipped throughout. Also very good heating and wi-fi. We were very impressed and will almost certainly return. Thanks!!
A well appointed property centrally located in a quiet area with parking on site.Everything provided.
We have stayed at 2old dairy court a few times, it’s always been prepared to a very high standard. The house house has everything you need. Very convenient for all sheringham’s attractions.
This is a perfect place right in the middle of Sheringham, we didn't want to leave, It had everything we needed for our stay, The seaview was fantastic we even did some cold water swimming which was brilliant, the apartment was spotless, The only criticism to make and it's my preference I would like to see a drainer on the kitchen sink and a bigger mirror in the bedroom but like I said it's my preference, but definitely we hope to return to Gull view very soon
Morris House was our choice for New Year, it was wonderful. 6 bedrooms, for 8 adults, over 3 floors, no worry of not enough room for anyone. The annex had 2 of these bedrooms, and wonderful facilities, so 2 stayed there with a dog, and joined us in the larger house, from breakfast onwards. The dining room in Morris House was generous enough and had seating for the 8 of us at all our meal times. In the lounge there was enough soft comfortable seating for the 8 of us, plus occasional tables for your drinks. As we cooked breakfast every morning, the kitchen was so well equipped even down to a...more
This was a lovely comfy well presented accommodation with every effort made for an enjoyable stay. It was an ideal location so close to the town and was ideal for our two dogs with the back door access and conservatory. We were concerned that it was on street parking only but managed to get a space right outside the property. To be highly recommended and we would not hesitate to rebook.
Had a very enjoyable stay will definitely be booking again loved the idea of the field for dogs . With beautiful walks , so peaceful with well keep site
We stayed at the Clarendon as 2 families in July 2021, which included 4 adults and 4 children. The location could not have been better, situated 5 minutes from the beach and in particular the sea, was ideal for the children. With the shops, pubs and restaurants being even closer, there really was something to suit everybody. Sheringham is a beautiful, traditional seaside town which is an ideal base for those also wanting to explore Norfolk. The accommodation is a spacious townhouse with the perfect mix of tradition and modern amenities. As a family with 3 children everything that is needed ...more
Lovely cottage. Quite area. Very well equipped, and dog friendly. Will definitely book again. Very nice garden.
we had a fantastic break at new road.. house was cosy and comfortable for us (two adults and two teenagers with a small dog) had everything we needed.. good well stocked kitchen, cute back yard, useful for the dog.. and a minute walk from town and all the local amenities. great location for walking along the coast and for the steam train to Holt.. lots of great food choice in the town and coffee huts along the seafront.. a real treasure of a place to visit.
Fantastic property. Can't fault any part of our stay here. Everything was exactly as we hoped. Highly recommend
Lovely property in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk from shops and the beach. Lots of easy walks in the area.
Well placed pretty cottage with everything you need for your break . Cooker wasn't working , maintenance called , came out nearly straight away and fixed fault .
Cottage ideally located near a ruined priory. It was great to have a welcome pack for a much needed hot drink and biscuit. Rooms were nice and warm, well planned room and a folder to answer any questions you have. Nicely decorated and rooms having a bird theme. Walking distance into Sherington for a bracing coastal walk, train station to book a ride on a steam train and shops nearby. Also a good location to plan days to explore Norfolk. Ideal for a much needed break.
Stayed on this park before but not in this chalet. Picked this park due to great value, well maintained site. It is a bit of a walk in to town but it's worth it as it's about half the price here than staying more central. Well kept chalet, clean, well stocked with cutlery, dinnerware etc. Some positive s that stand out for me: sofa was good sized and comfy, just what you need after a day out (not so much the 1 seater bucket chair but not an issue for us as only 3 of us), proper sized cups, needs a decent size cuppa on a morning and so many of this type of accomodation have smaller sized cups. ...more
Had a lovely holiday in this beautiful cottage. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, had everything we needed. Lovely quiet location, very relaxing. One of the nicest cottages we have stayed in, highly recommend.
We have stayed here a few times before and love everything about it but this time noticed a few issues that need addressing. The bolt on the back gate doesn't work properly, there are nails sticking out of some rotton decking in front of the little out house and a damp problem in the kitchen. Security is paramount for our dogs.
Despite previous reviews and description indicating a sea view, given that it faces sideways to the sea, I thought this must be just from the balcony. It's not. There is a glass wall all long one side of an open plan kitchen sitting diner so you can see the sea from everywhere. I liked the explanation provided about the Covid precautions that had been taken, which was reassuring. The bedrooms are a good size too and access to the beach is from the corner of the carpark just outside the flat. You can get a weekly pass from the machine or the Parking Operations App.
always a car park ; near a shop and supermarket. short distance to public transport warm and open views from back and front.
...very good value.......................................................................... ........
It is in an amazing location, and is a unique and homely cottage. We love it and have stayed here many times, and hope to stay there many more times. The cottage just has a beautiful atmosphere.
Good position in the town not too near but close enough always a pleasure even after third visit in fact already booked again
The cottage was in an ideal location, just a few minutes' walk from all the amenities of Sheringham. There was a Sainsbury's just a couple of minutes' walk away and a Tesco about ten minutes' walk away. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. There were a lot of leaflets about local attractions as well as a wide variety of books and DVDs - board games and toys had been removed because of Covid. The parking space in the front garden was handy and could fit a medium-sized car.
Had a lovely week’s holiday here, nicely decorated and well equipped. Very cosy inside. Great location. Only two faults were a dirty grill and plug in the bathroom sink wouldn’t open to release the water, had to prise open the metal plug which took some effort. Will definitely return in the future.
Such a well stocked, warm , comfortable home , we love this place, the location is perfect , having visited last week we can’t wait to return so have already booked our next visit , there’s something for the whole family we have grandparents, children and a dog too , everyone is perfectly happy here as there’s enough room for all , highly recommended
Very difficult to find any negatives. For the younger members of the family the lack of WiFi was an issue. The house and facilities were excellent. Amazing house for a holiday and will be booking again without any qualms.
We are regular visitors to Sheringham but this is the first time we have stayed at 5 St Austins Grove. Negatives 1st. An awful lot of cobwebs and an infestation of woodlice in the lounge. Kitchen very small and the Whirpool electric oven is a nightmare to use even though manufacturers instructions provided. I think someone who understands how to work the oven should write some plain English instructions for guests. The house is in a wonderful location in a very quiet area of Sheringham. The property is warm and comfortable with everything a family would need. Lots of off street parking on...more
The chalets are compact but ideal for a couple. The owners had supplied absolutely everything you will need and all was very clean and in excellent condition. The chalets can feel a little damp out of season but they had supplied heaters which were a godsend. I was pleasantly surprised as some places are very thrifty or what you get is well used, this was all very clean and new.. It's a dog paradise having the park and beach so close. If you want a reasonable priced break with your four legged friend it's an ideal location. There is an electric meter which takes £1 coins, however we used about...more
We had a great week staying at 4 Edal Court. Location behind the old Burlington Hotel is great as very close to beach and the centre of Sheringham. Accommodation was clean, bright and comfy. Only issue we had was with parking. There are 6 spaces , one for each flat but the space isn’t suitable for 6 modern cars and sometimes we had to find on street parking due to not being able to fit in the space left when all other cars are parked. Removing the chain rope and post would help or marking out each space. As there was loads of unlimited on street parking it wasnt such an issue but in the summer...more
Lovely cottage in an ideal location close to town and beach. Clean, cosy and comfortable, bed was huge! Kitchen well equipped everything you need. Steps from back garden to door a bit small, need to be bigger.
This chalet is very tastefully decorated and well thought out. Thank you to the owners for a very restful holiday.
We had a lovely stay in a lovely spacious property. It was ideally situated for visiting North Norfolk. The property was very comfortable with everything you could need for a self catering holiday. The pool was great and the booking system worked well. We also enjoyed using the tennis courts and play area. Our grandsons loved the trampoline.
Good location for beach and town.Loved the new comfy settees and very well equipped kitchen . Cleaners need to pay more attention to the small details
Wonderfully placed accommodation in rural settings. Nice and quiet. Lots of wildlife. Lots of great walks/runs to go on. Safe for children to cycle round. Good location to explore other areas of Norfolk.
we took dog long walks to east runton and sheringham the bungalow was nice and clean our dog loved the large back garden
We arrived optimistic but was disappointed with the reality. Small, cluttered and impractical for 4 people.
This is a lovely comfortable flat and ideal for a small family. It is in a great location and very close to all amenities.
A great, spacious, house with all the necessary comforts and equipment to cater for a large group. Really good location for visiting the Norfolk coast. No parking outside the house but lots of free spaces in nearby roads within 2 or 3 minutes of walking. We had multiple cars and it was never a problem to find places to park! I would definitely stay here again. Thank you.
Very well equipped house, everything you can need. No toilet rolls, no tea cloths no kitchen roll, I’m sure the cleaners must have forgotten. Nine o’clock to leave the house, much too early. Barbara.
Location great and very convenient for shops/ amenities. Sheringham is a nice little place and perfect for exploring North Norfolk.
A really cosy upside down cottage right near the beach! Loved our stay-except for the weather-and the amazing location of Sea Edge! Definitely recommend.
I was disappointed to find that the downstairs bedroom was in a converted garage. It was dark and depressing and the fact that the put out bed had been made up for our use instead of the two singles placed together and made up as a Queen size bed added to the lack of comfort. The upper floors of the property were much more comfortable and of the standard I have experienced in rental properties before
The flat is in a good position for town. The flat was clean, but the interior is still in the nineteen fifties ,except the bath room which had been refitted. Their are major building work being done at the rear of the property, and the week we where there the drive had been dug up to lay new electric cables, so we could not park in the allocated space, and had to park in the street which was ok as their are no parking restrictions near by.
We would have referred to have a key safe at the property because it is difficult getting the key from Sherringham due to parking. The grandchildren loved the easy access to the beach. The property was warm and cosy with plenty of hot water .the shower could do with an upgrade.
There has been a constant updating to this property over the many years we have stayed there. There is still some way to go to fully modernise the flat but it has a likeable charm that brings you back each year. Very nicely situated and close to town and shops it has given us many enjoyable holidays over the years.
Lovely big house just 10 minutes walk from the beach, chip shop and Chinese takeaway. Bedrooms were nice size plenty of wardrobe space and kitchen was well equipped. Nice size garden. Didn’t use it as middle of winter but would be lovely to sit outside in the summer. Only parking for one car but can park on main road
The cottage was very clean and well arranged. Beds were very comfortable as we both had good nights sleep. The cotrage is well located for the amenaties that Sheringham offers.
Good week weather was very good some nice shops seafront kept very clean market has gone down train stations the poppyline value for money
We had a lovely time staying in Cromer at 9 Canada road and just a short walk to the beach was perfect for us. The only thing I’d suggest is getting WiFi. There’s not many places you’d stay in this day and age that doesn’t have it. Also, the broken shower/bath knob I’d imagine is a quick job which surely could be fixed for the comfort of the guest.
Pleased o really with the cottage but the kitchen area was very small. The stairs were very steep and narrow. Good location with car parking space. Comfortable lounge with lovely log burner. Well equipped and pleasant
Love this holiday home, great location and very comfortable. The front double bedroom is ready for a decorate and the little garden could quite easily be made more usable and inviting but otherwise a perfect place to stay.
Good cottage couple of problems with door locks Sorted quickly by agency.Everything as advertised. Clean throughout,
I was amazed at the cleanliness of the cutlery , crockery and glasses… literally Immaculate.. usually upon arrival of a holiday let I wash every item.. The house was a bit far from sheringham for us ,(our fault not the owners ) and the back fence wasn’t secure enough to allow the dog out without supervision.. please check the back gate we found it swinging open we can only assume someone unlocked it.. new fence to the left and bottom could easilyAdd value to this let.. and give the guests privacy to relax the beds were comfy and everywhere felt so clean. Large bedrooms 9/10- Sort ...more
Great cottage, lovely central location, as soon as I got home I booked again for 2023. Decor needs some attention , maybe just some nice pictures to replace the somewhat random selection that’s already there but this is a minor detail. There are two toilets which is handy if you’re in a group, one house bathroom on the ground floor and a small shower upstairs that we never used as only 2 of us.
Lovely spacious 3 bed property, large bathroom, garden, proximity to beach & shops, well appointed, We had plenty of room for 3 adults sharing, near to fish and chips.
Good location.Property a very tired in some areas. Not enough utensils and equipment for 6 people. Some of crockery was dirty not checked between guests. See comments below
We really enjoyed staying in this house in October half term. Sherringham is a lovely seaside town, with beautiful beaches and lots to do at all times of year. The house is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the centre of Sherringham and the sea. It has its own parking, which is really useful. Inside, it was clean and comfortable. It's a pretty, well-appointed little house with lovely views of gardens from the back and we really enjoyed our week.
Stayed at Romany rye in sheringham. This place is very dated and needs urgent attention. The oven was filthy and has not been cleaned all year the crockery had chips on the plates there is mould in the main bedroom which is hidden behind a chair. The front garden is overgrown and made it difficult to use the front door. This place could be great but they need to sort out the issues it has
