Blue Haven is a lovely home from home it is so clean and tidy. In a great location just a short walk down into Cromer with two parking spaces in a quiet area. The bedrooms are spacious and ideal for 4 adults as there are 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms. A lovely garden to sit in which is enclosed and very safe for dogs. A welcome pack and milk welcomed us after a long journey. A really lovely home and we would not hesitate to stay there again in the future.
Had an excellent stay on Church Street. The apartment is very spacious and well equipped and ideally located in the centre of Cromer. Great communication and we had a very enjoyable stay. Thank you!
Having selected this caravan for its location, it did not disappoint. It was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The beach was almost in touching distance, and the local shop, pub and fish and chip shop only minutes away.
My daughter found this property via your website and it looked ideal for our Easter family holiday. Didn't she do well !!!, the Manor House was perfect for a family of 9 including 3 children. The house was clean and spacious and in the perfect location for the Beach, Town Centre The Pier and other local amenities. With ample parking (we parked 4 cars) on site is a massive bonus not having to pay out for local car parks. The kitchen is enormous with everything that was needed for our stay. A huge dining table where all 9 of us could sit with ease in a lovely dining room, made meal times ...more
Virtually everything had been thought of on arrival at this lovely property. The owners have clearly spared no expense decorating and equipping this property with everything you would hope to find home from home. I had a very enjoyable stay and looked forward to arriving back in the evenings. It was super-clean and exceptionally comfortable. The boiler kept the temperature just right. It was also much appreciated that I could pull the car off the road onto the drive outside. It is a beautiful building, very well-kept, inside and out and with a very individual style that suits the house and goe...more
Our third stay at The Hive. As always it is well equipped and clean. Close to all amenities. You can watch the trains on the North Norfolk Railway from the garden.
We have stayed at the Cockles twice. The facilities are all top standard. It has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms but for us it’s perfect just for the 2 of us ( as we both get our own fully equipped bathroom). The shops, takeaways, bakeries, butchers are just a short walk away. The buses are great and can get you all along the North Norfolk coast and into Norwich. Please also try the local Sheringham Theatre, it deserves our support. For us, we always visit the Horse Sanctuary in West Runton, Holt garden centre, The Priory maze and book Sunday lunch at Burlington Bertie’s Hotel. The Cockles has e...more
Yes the Den was perfect. and the garden were Beautiful.owners were very friendly. The parking space very good
This was a fabulous property, couldn't fault anything. We will return. Great facilities super comfy beds in all rooms.
The best place we have stayed the house is so clean you have everything you could possible need love the peace and quite hope to return.
A well appointed cottage. Great location and quiet. Easy to access all amenities on foot in Sheringham. Comfortable and warm cottage which was well equipped and nicely decorated.A very comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. As we only stayed for 4 days getting up at 8am to feed the meter was a chore but fortunately the car park was right behind the cottage.
A lovely few days away in a lovely flat. Everything you could need, and would recommend to others. Thank you
This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Scrimshaw Cottage which has been an enjoyable relaxing holiday. Ideal location for meeting friends and relatives. The cottage as usual is well equipped, tidy and very comfortable. We will certainly be back to Sheringham.
A beautiful homely holiday home. Everything to a very high standard in a lovely setting. Very easy access to Sheringham Town and Beach. Will definitely book here again.
This is the second time we have been here. Love this clean open spaced house. Although on a busy road, it is quite safe for children, with a front garden with a wall infront.. Parking for 2 card a BIG bonus. Love the starter breakfast bread butter jam milk etc. Saves going out on Saturday afternoon as soon as you get there. It helps with relaxation as soon a you get there.
This was my second stay at Gull View as it was hard to imagine anywhere could be better placed. The wide sea view is mesmerising and it's lovely to drift off to sleep with the gentle sound of the waves. On a more practical note, the parking place is a real boon and it's also only moments to walk into town. It's clearly been refurbished with great care using quality wallpapers, carpets and furnishings. As is shown in the pictures, to get the view, you need to sit up at the counter and the bedrooms have sloping ceilings. I didn't try and cook but the saucepans all look new and cared for. I a...more
Myself, my niece & her two children had a fantastic stay at chalet number 53. It was very clean & had every thing we needed. The complimentary milk, biscuits & crisps were a nice thought. The bunk beds with the larger bottom bunk was a great idea. The location was great too being within walking distance of the town.
Very enjoyable that provided everything required for our holiday. Nice and tidy and in a brilliant location.
Great house for 5 adults .. plenty of showers in this property.. its location brilliant… very home from home feel .. if using all the bedrooms, you will need to be fit , a double & 2 singles on top floor . Parking good 2 cars .
Very convenient central location, excellently equiped flat. Spotlessly clean. What more do you want?
Excellent 2-bed flat with views over the sea with amazing sunset and sunrise. Clean, well equipped with washing machine and dishwasher. Just a few niggles; washing machine needed a clean as clothes smelled after being washed; I reported this but had to buy a cleaning solution and clean the machine myself. Dishwasher also needed to be cleaned. The main issue was that the flat got very very hot even though the flat faced north; I asked for a fan but none was provided and I had to buy my own plus get a maintenance man in to allow the windows to be opened more - he pointed out that there is a key ...more
Have stayed in Sherringham lots of times over the years and this is the best accommodation we have found. 1 minute walk to the top end of high street. 5 minutes walk to the beach. The house is immaculate and the garden patio area is very pleasant. Private off road parking is also a bonus.
Comfortable and convenient placed for all amenities. Parking useful although tight as we have a large car.
A really nice clean well equipped chalet, situated in an ideal spot out of the village but close enough if you wanted to walk, also very quite and nice short walks on the top of the cliffs
A real gem of a cottage in a lovely location. So peaceful overlooking the common and yet only a 10 minute (at most) walk into town and all its amenities. Also very close to good bus service. Cottage was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything you might need. The garden at the rear is an added bonus and a lovely spot to sit and enjoy a bit of sunshine. The dog loved exploring on the common and it's a great place to exercise your pet when you don't want to go on a longer walk. Lots of other walks on the doorstep too.
South Side was a lovely cottage, with everything you could need for your stay. Parking at the front was perfect for one vehicle. Lovey bathroom with spacey shower. Plenty of room in the rest of the cottage. The cottage is situated within an easy drive of some great places. It is a short walk from the beach. Close to a pub, and a village cafe.
This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Deck 2 it is that good. It is the little things, like when you arrive after a long journey you see the note that says “ milk in fridge”.
We are returning visitors at Railway View & will definitely be back again. Nice & clean, very comfortable & has everything you need. Plus right in Cromer, so everything is walking distance
A great place to stay. Just outside the town, but near enough to take advantage of all that the town offers. The layout of the bungalow was just right for us and everything that we needed was there. The station and shops are within walking distance and the peace and quiet while sitting outside with a drink was wonderful. Plenty to do locally if you want to but we found our visit very restful. Life is what you make it.We would stay again.
The house is in a quiet area with on street parking. But it is a short walk to the front and the town. Downstairs is spacious and faces south, with a good sitting out area. The lounge area is very comfortable. Wi-Fi good, also the heating system. Spacious kitchen, well equipped. Bedrooms cosy with comfortable beds and bedside lights.
We found No 2 Augusta Court very well equipped, spotlessly clean, a good location and absolutely great to have parking as well. It's a very comfortable home and we slept very well, with no disturbance from any noise outside. Also, the television worked very well, with a good signal, which makes a pleasant change.
Lovely little cottage opposite the common. With a parking space included. Everything we needed for a 3 night stay, and very dog friendly. Shame we didnt get tea, coffee and milk, but we took some with us. Could maybe do with a coat of paint, but would stay again
This is an excellent house, very clean and well equipped. Providing towels would be helpful. Very nice to have a welcome pack and flowers. We enjoyed our stay and we’re incredibly lucky with the weather!!!
Just come back from a very relaxed holiday. 11 of us went and the house was perfect. We didn't get on top of one another and location to beach was ideal. Everybody enjoyed the week.
We had lots of things to do in our week,It was the first time we stayed at Canary Cottage, which we found to be an ideal base, very comfortable ,lovely garden and everything we needed. Really wished we could have had another week.
Great cottage ideal for two persons. Only gripe the stairs could do with a hand rail for safety of your visitors.
A chalet park we visit nearly every year and a chalet we have used more than once. It is always maintained to a very high standard in a beautiful, clean park. We have already booked up for a holiday in September in the same chalet. A great getaway for good value for money. A nice gesture for guests was a complimentary welcome box of biscuits and other bits and bobs.
Phillips cottage is a perfect location for shops and pubs in Sheringham. The off road parking is a bonus. Well equipped and comfortable the biscuits and milk were very welcome.
A beautiful, spacious house in a quiet part of town but within.easy walking distance to both seafront and shops. The house was spotless with lovely bedding and towels.
This was my third visit to the plaice. The location cannot be beaten . The view is amazing. This was the first visit in the winter months and very different to peak summer. The tide comes very close with large waves ( we were there in the stormy week at the end of November) it was fabulous to watch. The property was lovely and warm to hunker down in when the weather was less than favourable. The property is a little tierd and could do with a spruce up but it doesn't take away from the experience. The town has a great deal of independent shops that sells everything you can think of . Lots of ...more
We've just returned from our 3rd stay at Repton Cottage. The house was just as we remembered, quiet, clean, cosy and very well equipped. The garden is a real sun trap & is a lovely quiet place to sit and relax. The cottage is conveniently situated with the beach a very short walk away and Cromer & Sheringham both a short drive away. Gail & Louise at Keys provided excellent service as usual, with great communication before, during & after our stay.
Sheringham is such a lovely place, we will be visiting again in the future. The cottage was ideally situated close to all amenities.
Chalet was clean and comfortable but did smell a bit fusty. I don't think this accommodation is suited for 4 adults due to the seating in the lounge. We chose this accommodation due to it being really quiet as it was a much needed break for my husband .
Great cottage right next to sea and in heart of Sheringham. Loved downstairs but perhaps not the sofa bed it wasn’t comfortable for sitting. The stairs I expected from other reviews but it did put us off from using the double bed on top floor. The cottage had been very well renovated with good quality items. Great views. And a car park right next door that you can but a 7 week parking ticket which was so convenient!! The only thing I think was missing was more mirrors especially a full length one so you could check yourself b4 going out. You could put this in the middle floor bedroom back of ...more
The Sidings is a beautiful bungalow located so close to all the amenities of Sheringham. It is very much a home from home. Very comfortable accommodation with a lovely garden to sit in & enjoy the steam trains going by. Will definitely go again.
We enjoyed our stay at Sheringham at old school yard cottage my sister and brother in-law came with us it was their first visit to Sheringham we all had a good time .my. Husband and I have always stayed at the cottage it is in a great spot close too the beach , the pubs the shops everything is in walking distance and to visit other places they are just a short drive away also you can park just outside on a small driveway .As we have been a few times to the schoolyard cottage we are noticing over the different visits (over the years) the cottage itself could do with a good freshen up the pain...more
We had a very comfortable and relaxing holiday with all the requirements provided to have a great stay. The apartment was well equipped with sea views as an added bonus. The parking was a must as the area was very busy to be able to find a space to park without having to pay or park a distance away. Would happily book again.
This cottage has everything you need to have a great time in sheringham, location close to high st ,parking for 2 vehicles, comfortable beds,3 toiletsand easÿ to use c/heating,just be aware there are a few steps on ground floor to negotiate.
I had a very pleasant 5-day stay with my dog. Chalet had everything I needed and was freshly decorated. Blossom was out and the site looked lovely.
The directions to the property were good, and it was as advertised. The owner was very friendly and helpful on our arrival. It was well equipped and nicely furnished. A very peaceful place to stay and a good location for everything we planned to do
We had a 3 day break at the Annexe, it was a comfortable accommodation, great location near the town, would definitely return. Would recommend.
We love coming here as its such a lovely place to stay, clean, comfortable and very peaceful in such a lovely location. Would highly recommend.
We enjoyed our stay the house is comfortable and well equipped . Could have done with extra keys or key lock.
Excellent location near the high street in sheringham and we had a lovely holiday. Cottage was clean and comfortable especially the king size bed slept very well however, the decor required updating throughout the Cottage and garden in urgent need of attention.
We enjoyed staying a second time in this little annex. Very quiet, and an interesting and varied choice of books. Thank you!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Annies cottage. The welcome pack is ideal for the first cuppa when you arrive and we appreciate all the extra things provided. The rear garden looks fabulous, once a small raised patio it now has a lush green lawn with chairs and tables dotted about. Perfect in summer, especially for kids.
The apartment was immaculate and very comfortable, and well equipped. The parking space is a big bonus. Well located, nice and peaceful yet within easy walking distance of all Sheringham's shops and attractions.
We booked a short stay Wednesday to Sunday. The parking is tight as documented, we took a MG HS and made it through okay. The property is dated and dirty marks on carpets and furniture, unpleasant odour in front room but we got some air freshener to solve it. Lots of cobwebs and appliances were not clean, we contacted Keys and a cleaner was sent back within the hour. Double bed in back bedroom was hard, suited my mother though as has a bad back. Had everything in apart from a hairdryer! Great location can be a little noisy at night with people are coming home from the local pub but doesn’t las...more
The property is in a wonderful position and has all you would need for a couple. It could do with some refurbishment now such as carpets, curtains and surfacing of the patio area. The chairs in the lounge are not very comfortable. It suffers from some damp and mold due to the age of the property.
An ideal house for a large family with a great location and good facilities. HOWEVER, the experience was substantially marred by the poor standards of cleanliness and general scruffiness. Any cleaning undertaken before we arrived was superficial , and certainly way below the standard one would expect from a property in this price range - whilst it could be argued that floors kept in their original condition (tiles, bare floorboards etc) provide character they do need to be kept clean! e.g. kitchen bin not cleaned out properly (look under the detachable liner!) Both wheely bins had not been cl...more
Enjoyed our stay ,in this lovely little cottage it has everything you need for a relaxing break, and lovely walk to Sheringham and Cromer on the beach. Fish and chips at the local Wills fish & chip shop was amazing.
Nice tidy bungalow clean and fresh comfy bed nice relaxing shower garden is quiet and relaxing too lovely little pond had tadpoles in at time of stay lots of robins came to visit too would stay again nice walk over to the shire horse and lots of other animals to see as well definitely recommend
A lovely, very well equipped cottage, easy walk to both shops and the sea. Nicely decorated, light and contemporary. The only criticisms are the sofa which is not very comfortable, and the hard pillows! Sheringham is lovely, lots to do there and in the surrounding area.
We booked our stay in Sheringham as there was a steam train to Holt a bustling shopping opportunity and a number of quality restaurants. The house Seaview retreat was absolutely spotless but a good 20 minute walk into town which was the only real downside to our stay which we really enjoyed, Sheringham is a good base for trips to other special locations such as Cromer or Wells next the sea,
We enjoyed our stay at little lodge, spacious and a nice garden to relax in. Unfortunately the garden was looking a little unkempt and the man never showed up to cut the grass ! It said on Mondays , but it wasn't done. Also a sun brolly and sun chairs would have been good. The other issue was the bed which was uncomfortable as the mattress was lumpy.overall it was satisfying.
We had the most amazing holiday here. The house was set in a very quiet area but was so close to town that you wouldn’t have known. We enjoyed exploring the area and recommend this cottage for people to stay in. We were a four adult and 2 dog party and had so much space to spread out so we’re never in anyone’s way. Thank you for an amazing holiday.
Lovely location -easy access to town AND the brilliant seaview. I travelled by train but the carpark next door is a handy feature.
We spent 5 nights at 72 Kings Chalet Park. The accommodation was clean and very comfortable with everything we needed. The park was very quiet and relaxing surrounded by woods. A short walk to the the cliffs with beautiful sea views and a clifftop walk into Cromer. The weather was perfect, lovely walks along the beach and cliffs, sunsets from the cliffs. We had a lovely break and would recommend .
Good location. Poor inside. Looks like nothing has changed since an elderly person lived there. Very shabby bed coverings. Old dated pictures and some are child like ( nursery rhymes!!) old dusty ornaments, ridiculous ones look like off tombola!! Would not cost much to remove dated stuff . Double bed too small, needs king size. Cosy and warm. Nice to have outside sitting
Well equipped property in excellent location, the lack of parking was easily sortable as the station car park is very close, no problem when planned. We however had 2 issues: the fire alarm started to sound and went on all night. The Emergency number we were given was not manned, so the alarm was not silenced, that was a totally unecessary problem, an emergency number should be exactly that undraining showers that needed clearing and shower controls being too stiff to use
Lovely cottage just two minutes from the sea front. Very well appointed, clean and lovely comfy beds. It had everything we needed. We cooked in the cottage most nights and there was a good selection of kitchen equipment. Off road parking was a bonus, although it is very tight getting up and down the street. Good central point for exploring. We weren’t sure what to expect when we booked this cottage, thought it might be very tiny but was surprisingly roomy. Surpassed all expectations and is one of the best we have stayed in.
A very comfortable and clean house and exactly as described. Keys staff were friendly and welcoming.
Cosy cottage, very well equipped. Good location near the centre of Sheringham and as a base for visiting North Norfolk. Downsides were the busy road as it is on a main road and the size of the second bedroom. It says it sleeps 4 but should be specified two adults and 2 small children as the bunk beds were tiny. Also the stairs were narrow and steep but we were already told that.
Anchor cottage is the perfect place for a small family to stay. It is so close to the beach and shops that we were able to regularly pop back to pick up/drop items or use the toilet. The kitchen has everything you might need for. Self-catering holiday and the fact that each bedroom has a toilet is really useful. The only downside to this property is its size. Although it has 3 decent sized bedrooms, the living room would be tight for more than 4 adults. The only other inconvenience is the lack of a hall or porch to put shoes and coats. This resulted in us all leaving our shoes and coats in the...more
We have for many years visited this house and found it an idea base for a great holiday. Pity dogs can't share the accommodation.
We loved our stay at Romany Rye. The cottage is warm and cosy and we loved its quirks. The location was perfect for us and our two young children. It's a 1 minute walk to the seafront and high street. The car parking space was an extra bonus.
A nice cottage for two. Very handy for the town and beach. It is small, but has everything you need for a holiday stay, the only thing we found wanting was a shaver/toothbrush socket. It's surprisingly quiet at night, for a town centre location. We found the beds a bit soft, but that's just a preference. A good-sized TV downstairs, with a DVD player for when it rains!
CLEANLINESS OK but could be improved: eg. skirting boards, and areas between bed and bedside table very dusty. Spiders on bathroom ceiling. Skirting by toilet grubby. I know that there is a quick turn around with holiday lets but this property would certainly have benefited from a deep clean. The dust was not helpful as I suffer from dust/pollen/hay fever. COMFORT generally good. Beds were comfy. Bucket chairs in TV room not comfy and more chairs needed. OK for 2 guests but more needed for 4-6 guests. Sofas were comfortable but old and tatty - perhaps cover/blanket could be provided to sav...more
