First stay in North Norfolk and blown away by the location. The accommodation was very well maintained, very clean and in a lovely spot. Our Parson Russell terrier’Woody’ was taken by the outside space and all the walks on our doorstep. We had some great walks along the coastal path and a great time on the stunning beaches especially Wells next the Sea. Cromer and Sheringham were lovely too. Great food at the Recruiting Sergeant and the Vernon Arms and some great fish and chips along the way. Loved it and will definitely return!
Good weeks stay at this lovely apartment on the seafront in Sheringham. Very clean comfortable and well equipped with a good location for the beach, shops and local attractions. Already rebooked for next year.
We had a wonderful stay at the Malting House the accommodation was excellent very well equipped and extremely clean could find no fault at all and we will come back next year. There are many places to visit nearby which makes it a very good place to stay.
Very pleasant stay. The tea, milk biscuits and sundry other items were much appreciated. The cottage was immaculate and spotlessly clean. The location was very convenient for the local amenities and also for the beaches. Parking was no problem. Unfortunately we we unable to control the weather and it was unseasonably cold for most of the week, but the efficient central heating soon made the cottage very comfortable when it was needed.
A well presented cottage in a great location, a few minutes walk to both the beach and Shops. The car parking space was a real bonus and the out building was useful for storing my husbands painting kit. An ideal base to explore North Norfolk, we left the car and caught the train for a day trip to Norwich, visited Cromer, Cley and Felbrigg Hall all a short drive away.
We had a great break, strand cottage is a lovely house. The cottage was very clean and comfortable; highly recommended.
Amazing place do not hesitate to book it. Close to lovely places such as Sheringham Holt and Cromer. You should definitely visit Holt.
Close to shops, eateries and beach. Comfortable accommmodation, well appointed. Added benefit of dedicated parking space.
Perfect location. Lovely village feel by the sea. Flat was fantastic, everything you could need. Decor is warm and welcoming. Spotlessly clean. Kitchen fully kitted. We ate out most nights but did make a casserole in the slow cooker, just what we needed after a day spent walking. Would love to go back.
Once again we were very pleased with the accommodation and apart from having to search for additional handtowels for the downstairs toilet and kitchen there were no problems.
The location is absolutely brilliant! You’re two doors away from the train station and a few minutes walk from the centre! Anyone wanting to stay for a few days should give this place a go! We noticed a couple of small things during our stay such as a dirty sink, cups and surfaces and hard pillows and mattresses but that’s a small point in the grand scheme of things that can easily be looked over! The house itself has a modern but tasteful layout and theme with all the utilities you’d require for your stay, couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay whilst visiting! Hoping to visi...more
Just returned from a weeks stay at Sky View and cant wait to go back.Would definitely recommend....
We had a lovely week away in your house as soon as we got in we saw how lovely and clean it was the beds were comfortable bathrooms clean garden was tidy and lovely to sit in all day if you wanted although there were lots of houses around it was peaceful nothing to grumble about
We were lucky to have been able to book a week in Sheringham staying at Beulah House. We had a fantastic week and we were also blessed with sunshine nearly every day The house is ideally placed , a few minutes walk and you reach the main street. We are only a family of 3 so there was ample room for us. The king size bed is very comfortable. All the rooms are of decent size. We really enjoyed our stay and would like to rebook in the future.
We enjoyed a week at this very comfortable and spacious property. It was good to be only ten minutes from the nearest beach. Plenty of cooking equipment/crockery/glasses if catering for a houseful of people, and reasonably comfortable sofa and chair in the living room. If you like "shabby chic" style then you'll love this! The property benefits from parking and the mature gardens are delightful. It is dog-friendly and our labradoodle enjoyed the treats that were left and there was a good supply of towels and throws for his benefit.
Very peaceful and relaxing location close to Kelling Heath and the seafront. Excellent cottage for 2 people with ample space
Beautiful little cottage in an ideal location so close to the sea and town. Is next to a pub which can be a bit noisy with events but no problems - and we enjoyed listening to the live music. There was a leak in the dining room, which made the room unusable for one day after heavy rain but key cottages where lovely and said the owner was replacing the roof the next week so not a big issue! Stairs are typical of that style of building- definitely not for those who are physically disabled in anyway. My husband and I are both quite tall so care should be taken when climbing the stairs! ...more
Stayed for 2 nights, we were thinking of leaving after the first night due to beds being too hard, although the other couple we went with loved the beds. Wasn’t able to get in before 4pm due to it being cleaned, but the bedroom hadn’t been cleaned very well at all, the desk with the tv on had thick dust on it and the lounge was dusty too, we did wonder if the property was empty before we arrived, but it hadn’t been. The bathroom on the same floor wasn’t clean either, grime on back of toilet, I cleaned it with toilet paper… it was grim! As was the skirting board and floor in there. Bathr...more
Perfect base for getting about to shops beach and eating out and for visiting local attractions Have already booked for next year D Drew
Very comfortable and modern apartment ,ideally situated for the beach and coast path to the lovely town of Sheringham
We love Sheringham and Scrimshaw Cottage is ideal as a "2nd home" Hoping to return after Christmas. Ann and Mike
Enjoyable week. Spacious and well equipped accommodation- parking a bonus. Good location. Would book again.
Clean, comfortable and well equiped cottage in a good central location. Layout of kitchen/breakfast room a bit odd; needs a table and seating to make the best of the garden view. Centre dining room more suitable for evening dinner parties, perhaps. Hive controlled central heating very fiddly; never did find out how to sort it out; consequently house quite cold when we returned after being out all day and then took a while to warm up. Just as well the weather was fairly mild.
We stayed here for 2 weeks in august and couldn’t fault a thing. Best holiday we’ve had in a while and already booked for next year.
Had a very enjoyable stay will definitely be booking again loved the idea of the field for dogs . With beautiful walks , so peaceful with well keep site
We had a great week staying in Clarendon. The house is a beautiful mix of traditional and modern style and has all the facilities you need for a great stay. No off road parking, but we knew this and street parking was fine for us. I would recommend turning the baby gate round on top floor so it’s a bit easier to get round . The location is great too, a few minutes from town and the beach. Would highly recommend for large family or group of friends.
We felt Gull View was very clean and well equipped and beds were comfortable. It was great for a family of 2 adults and 2 young children but not big enough for 4 adults. The location was splendid and the view amazing but unfortunately you couldn’t sit and watch the sea as no higher stools available for looking out at window height. Also felt that on first arrival impression of communal entrance and stairways were shabby and muddy ... however the flat was not shabby at all and the welcome pack was a lovely and well received extra. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return again but with less...more
Fantastic property. Can't fault any part of our stay here. Everything was exactly as we hoped. Highly recommend
Wagtail Cottage is a comfortable cosy house with a lovely garden. It is quiet and has lovely views. The facilities were perfect for our group of 2 couples. Everything we needed was provided and we will definitely stay there again.
Lovely property in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk from shops and the beach. Lots of easy walks in the area.
Well placed pretty cottage with everything you need for your break . Cooker wasn't working , maintenance called , came out nearly straight away and fixed fault .
Stayed on this park before but not in this chalet. Picked this park due to great value, well maintained site. It is a bit of a walk in to town but it's worth it as it's about half the price here than staying more central. Well kept chalet, clean, well stocked with cutlery, dinnerware etc. Some positive s that stand out for me: sofa was good sized and comfy, just what you need after a day out (not so much the 1 seater bucket chair but not an issue for us as only 3 of us), proper sized cups, needs a decent size cuppa on a morning and so many of this type of accomodation have smaller sized cups. ...more
Lovely cottage with a beautiful garden. Very well equipped. Pet friendly. Only thing missing is WiFi
We booked Old Dairy Court so that my mother could celebrate her 90th birthday in her favourite seaside town. We found the house to be clean, comfortable, well equipped and well positioned for sea and shops. The welcome gifts were very well received and so thoughtful. We were able to visit all our favourite Norfolk haunts and return to a “ Home from Home “ afterwards . Thank you.
Despite previous reviews and description indicating a sea view, given that it faces sideways to the sea, I thought this must be just from the balcony. It's not. There is a glass wall all long one side of an open plan kitchen sitting diner so you can see the sea from everywhere. I liked the explanation provided about the Covid precautions that had been taken, which was reassuring. The bedrooms are a good size too and access to the beach is from the corner of the carpark just outside the flat. You can get a weekly pass from the machine or the Parking Operations App.
always a car park ; near a shop and supermarket. short distance to public transport warm and open views from back and front.
The Hilton is beautifully situated right on the seafront with very easy access to the town. The property was clean with most facilities. I think we under estimated how difficult the spiral staircases would be. WiFi would be a desirable addition.
Needs more information in the property but over all in a good location and has own parking space which is needed in sheringham
We had a great time the cottage just what we needed it was clean modern and in a good position perfect
Lovely cottage with quirky features. Good central location with nice neighbours. Unfortunately the bedroom and bathroom had black mould that needed some care and attention as it was smelly all the time, especially on the outside wall in the bedroom as it was creeping up the walls and is extensive. Needs some attention before it becomes too much of a problem.
We enjoyed our holiday greatly, the house was immaculate and very well placed within the town. Annie’s house is amazing and we will be back very soon we hope.
Bathrooms to small . Beds very uncomfortable . Garden was an absolute mess . Carpet in living was very dirty
The cottage was in an ideal location, just a few minutes' walk from all the amenities of Sheringham. There was a Sainsbury's just a couple of minutes' walk away and a Tesco about ten minutes' walk away. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. There were a lot of leaflets about local attractions as well as a wide variety of books and DVDs - board games and toys had been removed because of Covid. The parking space in the front garden was handy and could fit a medium-sized car.
The chalet was well kept, clean and comfortable. The chalet park was quiet and the surrounding walks were excellent. We had a very enjoyable stay.
Had a lovely week’s holiday here, nicely decorated and well equipped. Very cosy inside. Great location. Only two faults were a dirty grill and plug in the bathroom sink wouldn’t open to release the water, had to prise open the metal plug which took some effort. Will definitely return in the future.
Very difficult to find any negatives. For the younger members of the family the lack of WiFi was an issue. The house and facilities were excellent. Amazing house for a holiday and will be booking again without any qualms.
The location was perfect. The village is close, as is the shore. The kitchen was well stocked. We would have preferred not to have to strip the beds and take out the trash. The temperature of the shower in the tub room could not be regulated. The red couch was covered with a considerable amount of dog hair.
This was our fourth stay in Sandrock House and we have already booked for next year. This house is by far the best holiday rental we have experienced and we have tried others in Sherringham which simply don’t compare. The house is ideal for a couple or a bigger family. It is very well presented, very clean and provides everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday. The house is situated very near to the sea, with sea views from the rooms on the front of the house. It is lovely to be a minutes walk away from the prom and the shops when you need them.
The flat is in a convenient location and is in very good general order. The facilities are 1st rate.
Lovely cottage in an ideal location close to town and beach. Clean, cosy and comfortable, bed was huge! Kitchen well equipped everything you need. Steps from back garden to door a bit small, need to be bigger.
This chalet is very tastefully decorated and well thought out. Thank you to the owners for a very restful holiday.
Good location for beach and town.Loved the new comfy settees and very well equipped kitchen . Cleaners need to pay more attention to the small details
Very disappointed that bathroom towels were not included considering the pricing of the property especially as they are evident in the property pictures.
We had a lovely stay in a lovely spacious property. It was ideally situated for visiting North Norfolk. The property was very comfortable with everything you could need for a self catering holiday. The pool was great and the booking system worked well. We also enjoyed using the tennis courts and play area. Our grandsons loved the trampoline.
Wonderfully placed accommodation in rural settings. Nice and quiet. Lots of wildlife. Lots of great walks/runs to go on. Safe for children to cycle round. Good location to explore other areas of Norfolk.
We love this place so much, very peaceful location. Lovely walks around the village and beyond. Great
We arrived optimistic but was disappointed with the reality. Small, cluttered and impractical for 4 people.
Around windows very dusty with cobwebs. Some pillows, kettle and toaster need replacing. Cleanliness needs improving.
The property is very well located within a short walk of all that Cromer has to offer and the private parking space is an added bonus. I was disappointed by the standard of cleaning on arrival and the lack of attention to detail. On the whole the property was comfortable and well equipped but there are areas that need attention such as the bathroom lighting, the well worn mattresses and bed linen and the sitting room curtains. It felt a bit unloved but if these issues were addressed this could be an amazing property. Decor is a personal thing but the flat felt dark and not at all like a hol...more
Our second stay at Lantern Cottage. The cottage contains everything needed for comfort and convenience. Perfect position for walking, town, and eateries.
The cottage is well located in the centre of Sheringham but in a quiet position. It was well-equipped for a short stay and quite adequate for my needs. A couple of improvements would be the provision of some coat hooks as there was nowhere to hang any clothes and a shower head which stayed in the required position (it simply slipped back down to the bottom of the bracket). Otherwise, very good.
Very well equipped house, everything you can need. No toilet rolls, no tea cloths no kitchen roll, I’m sure the cleaners must have forgotten. Nine o’clock to leave the house, much too early. Barbara.
A really cosy upside down cottage right near the beach! Loved our stay-except for the weather-and the amazing location of Sea Edge! Definitely recommend.
Nice, neat apartment with great sea view and very handy for the town. Ideal for daily workout on the stairs.
The flat is in a good position for town. The flat was clean, but the interior is still in the nineteen fifties ,except the bath room which had been refitted. Their are major building work being done at the rear of the property, and the week we where there the drive had been dug up to lay new electric cables, so we could not park in the allocated space, and had to park in the street which was ok as their are no parking restrictions near by.
We had a great week. The flat was so homely and comfortable. Close to centre. Would definitely recommend.
Very nice spacious holiday home , ideal for family or couples sharing. Well equipped.Good cleanliness and fresh bed linen. BT television and internet good.
Orchard Cottage is in a great location in East Runton, So close to the beach!! - literally less than a 5 minute walk. The Cottage is warm and cosy and sleeps 5 easily and comfortably... Pet Friendly so we were able to talk our puppy which was a bonus for us. Plenty of space with a conservatory on property so if you were a family of 5 there was space to spread out. Small galley kitchen with hob. microwave, fridge and small freezer as well as a washing machine/dryer. (with 2 washing capsules and washing up liquid provided!) Totally adequate for our needs when away. We stocked up at the loc...more
The cottage was very clean and well arranged. Beds were very comfortable as we both had good nights sleep. The cotrage is well located for the amenaties that Sheringham offers.
First impressions of the house were good and we were very pleased with it. However, when we got into bed on the first night we noticed that the mattress was badly damaged, it wasn't just old and worn, it was actually broken! There were two deep craters/channels approx. 3 ft long down where each person would lay resulting in being forced down a crevice. As soon as the letting office was open after the weekend, we contacted them with photos of the mattress. The staff at the letting agent assumed we were just complaining that the mattress wasn't to our taste, even though we kept saying it was br...more
Good week weather was very good some nice shops seafront kept very clean market has gone down train stations the poppyline value for money
If you want a quiet place to stay, within a short walk of the beach, this is the place. Plenty of space and nice enclosed garden, would certainly recommend.
House was very clean, beds very comfortable, settees not so much. on the downside, no parking which was a bit of a problem for elderly and disabled carrying luggage from the public carpark was a bit of a problem.
Love this holiday home, great location and very comfortable. The front double bedroom is ready for a decorate and the little garden could quite easily be made more usable and inviting but otherwise a perfect place to stay.
Good cottage couple of problems with door locks Sorted quickly by agency.Everything as advertised. Clean throughout,
Great cottage, lovely central location, as soon as I got home I booked again for 2023. Decor needs some attention , maybe just some nice pictures to replace the somewhat random selection that’s already there but this is a minor detail. There are two toilets which is handy if you’re in a group, one house bathroom on the ground floor and a small shower upstairs that we never used as only 2 of us.
Lovely spacious 3 bed property, large bathroom, garden, proximity to beach & shops, well appointed, We had plenty of room for 3 adults sharing, near to fish and chips.
Good location.Property a very tired in some areas. Not enough utensils and equipment for 6 people. Some of crockery was dirty not checked between guests. See comments below
We had a great week with the weather in our favor. Berry cottage has lots of space and was kitted out with all that was required, It was quiet and parking was OK. With walks along the Cliff paths only a short distance from the house. The location was fine for us as we did not find the 0.7 mile walk into the town a problem. The garden is a little sun trap and has good seating to enjoy it. There are a few things that would have made the stay even better. As the TV reception is poor there are few channels on the TV. This would not be a problem but with NO internet the entertainment - for the p...more
The site was clearly very well kept, the way its lade out is great.lack of information of how to get to cliff tops for walks, lack of info on using gadgets in Chalet
We really enjoyed staying in this house in October half term. Sherringham is a lovely seaside town, with beautiful beaches and lots to do at all times of year. The house is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the centre of Sherringham and the sea. It has its own parking, which is really useful. Inside, it was clean and comfortable. It's a pretty, well-appointed little house with lovely views of gardens from the back and we really enjoyed our week.
This little cottage is cleverly designed as it is tiny. However it had not been thoroughly cleaned as was full of pet hairs. The bunk beds are much higher than a standard bunk bed causing my 5 year old to fall out and bang his head from the lower bed. There was only a high table and high stools to eat from and unfortunately this resulted in a trip to A&E for my 2 year old with a head injury and laceration to the face. The stairs are dangerously steep to walk down. The property only had two small plans so it would be impossible to cook for a family of 4. Keys were quick to send the cleaners bac...more
Stayed at Romany rye in sheringham. This place is very dated and needs urgent attention. The oven was filthy and has not been cleaned all year the crockery had chips on the plates there is mould in the main bedroom which is hidden behind a chair. The front garden is overgrown and made it difficult to use the front door. This place could be great but they need to sort out the issues it has
