Lovely house centrally situated in the town. Very well equipped and furnished. Newly decorated so everywhere immaculate. Garden overlooks the North Norfolk Railway so we enjoyed watching the trains!
Great lodge in a great location. Close drive to many beautiful beaches. Cant beat waking up in nature.
A beautifully preserved Old Town Hall Large spacious bedrooms with en suites. Beds comfortable. Lots of hot water as required. Lovely main room to eat, relax and cook overlooking the town Close access to everything including the beach
This property lived up to its billing. The location was excellent and the accommodation was immaculate. Very modern and comfortable. The terrace is a real feature with all rooms opening on to it. Would love to stay here again.
Paddlestop is an extremely good holiday home. It was very clean and there was a welcome pack which meant we didn’t have to go to the shops immediately The outside space was very good with plenty of garden furniture. We were lucky enough to have unusually great weather!!!
Could not ask for better nice people and the place was perfect well thought out perfect all round would use again ,best let we have been in from keys
We had an excellent stay at Randall Crescent. A lovely house with plenty of space for 3 people and a dog. Fantastic Welcome pack including dog treats were included. Location is peaceful and great with only a 20 minute stroll into Cromer as well as only being 4 minutes walk from Roughton Road Train Station which we utilised one day with a trip to Norwich. Only negative we found was the comfort of the sofas in the living room.
We stay at Kelling Heath 3 or 4 times a year and have stayed at this Caravan 5 or 6 times now. It is extremely comfortable, spacious and and well equipped. The location on the Park suits us for Dog walks and proximity to Parks & Sport field for our 13 year old son. Highly recommend. Keys Holidays are a pleasure to deal with, thorough, prompt and friendly.
This is an apartment in a recently converted hotel close to and overlooking the sea but only a five minute walk to the High St and some excellent restaurants. The apartment is unusual in the high quality of equipment provided. Maybe the sitting area would be a little cramped with four adults but I can think of no other criticism. Recommended.
We were delighted with the spacious, clean and very well appointed house in the lovely village of Southrepps. Its was such a relaxing stay because we had everything we needed for a great family holiday.. even down to the toy cars! It really was like staying in someone's home- great kitchen and comfy bright sitting room leading out to the back garden! Lovely to have space to park off road and a large patio and garden to relax in.. complete with bbq. The location, just a few miles inland suited us perfectly, as it was peaceful and yet within a short drive of so many lovely beaches. The village ...more
A lovely few days away in a lovely flat. Everything you could need, and would recommend to others. Thank you
Very comfortable accommodation in a lovely location with a lovely view of the Beeston Bump from the front. Overlooking Allotments at the rear. Nice walks to go on. Good transport facilities with buses & regular train service to & from Norwich.
Gansey Cottage is a cosy little cottage almost on the sea front with car parking adjacent should you wish to use it with a great benefit of using the 7 day ticket it works out as relatively cheap parking. The cottage is cosy yet with plenty of space for 3 people. It is well furnished and well decorated and has everything you would need in terms of facilities (cooking, cleaning etc). The narrow staircase would make it unsuitable for some although that is pointed out on the property description. It is close to all amenities and there are lots of places to eat nearby. Overall a very good place...more
This was our second visit to Gull View & it was as wonderful as our first. The apartment was immaculately clean, welcoming & has everything you need for your stay. A welcome tray & note from the owner, really makes you feel that you are a valued customer. Gull View has beautiful views of the sea & I absolutely loved falling asleep & waking up to the sound of the waves. My daughter & I spent every day on the beach, sea glass hunting, watching the sunset & just relaxing. I did the coastal walk to Cromer which was lovely & also took the coastal hopper bus to Blakeney. We had an absolutely w...more
We found this house to be just perfect for us. We enjoyed being so close to both the town and station. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well kitted out for a self catering holiday. Nice to have linens and towels (so soft!) provided. It was very comfortable throughout. Parking close by was also a plus. Super little welcome basket of goodies greeted us.....with Marmite too .
This was our 3rd stay at Scrimshaw Cottage and we love the location with its sea views. Some nice new touches since last time in the new kitchen. It is a perfect place to stay for two. The parking is not an issue as there is a car park next door but we park on the streets for free a few minutes walk away after unloading. I am sure we will be back
We enjoyed a wonderful holiday last week and found the Old Bakehouse a super base The rooms and facilities are great for oldies When the washing machine failed it was replaced very quickly Car parking ideal for centre of Sherringham
We had a great 2 week holiday at Beulah House in September, helped by the good weather. The house is perfectly situated, close to the seafront and shops but in a very quiet road. The private parking is a real bonus in Sheringham. On arrival there was no toilet paper, or washing up liquid /dishwasher tablets at all provided, a first for us. The house was clean and well decorated, the lounge furniture very comfortable and the outside space well equipped with table and chairs. I would highly recommend Beulah House for a holiday.
Lovely apartment BUT VERY DISAPPOINTED NO INTERNET and no indication on apartment details until we had paid. My holiday was spoilt because of this. I had intended to teach myself new techniques in embroidery with the use of youtube. Of course we were out and about but in my free time I would have loved to sit down and immerse myself in my new hobby. Keys the agent suggested we link onto the pub next door or use the library, neither were available within the apartment. Also it meant no catch up on the television. It cost a lot of money and we were not very happy
We were a family of four generations plus a dog so a lot to cater for but this house delivered. Every detail had been thought about from stair gates to clothes airer even a vase of roses! The location was perfect for walking. Close to the beach supermarket and eateries. The negative is that there were no towels and it would of been useful to have the option of hiring them. That said we would definitely stay here again and treasure the memories we made here.
Lovely cottage, everything we needed included, very private and close to all amenities, only one downside it was advertised as a double bed but it was a small double definitely not big enough for 2 grown adults and very uncomfortable, we would love to stay again if the bed was changed
Lovely house. Good position and the kitchen is very well equipped. Garden was very tidy and house was spotless.
We were pleasantly surprised to find the chalet perfect for our stay,it was clean and everything was provided we would expect.we will definitely recommend to our friends.
We really enjoyed our stay at South Side, which was spacious, well-equipped, clean and comfortable. Great location, 10 minutes walk from the beach at West Runton, and 30 minutes walk along the cliff path (or beach at low tide) to Sheringham.
My wife and I had a lovely stay at the apartment. Everything you needed was there and it was very comfortable. The Apartment was in a perfect location for accessing the beach and promenade and a short walk to town centre and plenty of amenities It was the first time we had actually stayed in Sheringham, and what a lovely town it is. The parking space was very useful in a busy area. Everything in Apartment worked perfectly. The Welcome basket was a nice addition. Weather was good and so was the carnival, all in all a great week.
From the moment we stepped through the door we felt at home, Very Clean, Great Locaton. Nice and quiet. lovely back garden, real sun trap.
Nice little terraced home in a great location. All the comforts you need, including towels and soap(!) Great space on the front for sitting and watching the shanty singers in front of the odd fellows hall. We chose a good week as it was the carnival week. Perfect base for exploring Sheringham.
Had a really lovely holiday in the cottage, as always. Always find it very clean and very comfortable. Really pleasant atmosphere, very relaxing. Has everything we need. Hope to continue having many more holidays there
Excellent location, handy for town and with parking, always a bonus. Very clean and well equipped although toaster didnt work. Good to have another toilet downstairs if there are four of you. Mattress on double bed bit too soft. Would stay here again as good value.
We had lots of things to do in our week,It was the first time we stayed at Canary Cottage, which we found to be an ideal base, very comfortable ,lovely garden and everything we needed. Really wished we could have had another week.
Cromer was where my mum was born many years ago and I have stayed in a number of chalets at kings over the years both as a child, mum with little ones and now not so little ones. We have been incredibly lucky to have stayed at this chalet three times now. I can definitely confirm its the best one I've stayed it! It's beautiful and they go the extra mile with fresh flowers, tea, coffee, crisps and chocolate biscuits. Milk in the fridge on arrival. So lovely! Its been like going home each time we have stayed. Such a beautiful chalet, spotless, clean and fresh. Definitely hope we a...more
We had a very pleasant stay. The apartment is in very good decorative order. There is a well fitted modern kitchen which includes an in built oven and microwave. There are two very modern shower rooms and the shower water pressure was the best we have ever stayed in. Thank you. The apartment was very clean on arrival with a few goodies left out for us, like bread, milk, coffee, biscuits and more. Which was a great start for our stay start and again thank you.
Poppy Cottage is just a stones throw from Sheringham town centre, just a 5 minute walk. Situated in a quiet location with views of Beeston Common and the Beeston Bump. Well equipped and cosy cottage, enclosed rear garden. Dog friendly! Would definitely recommend.
Very impressed, value for money, clean and everything you could need provided. Comfy, good Location. Only negative really could do with a blind in kitchen window as affects seeing TV screen. Will definitely stay again.
Lovely location, beautiful views, great cottage as you are right on the seafront. Lots to do locally too. Would highly recommend - we will be going back for a fourth time next year!!!
This was ideal for four people. The kitchen can only fit one person in at a time which made food prep and tidying up after a bit difficult but other than that it was great.
Very well appointed chalet located in the perfect spot - lots of thoughtful touches to ensure a happy stay, which it was!
Hi we enjoyed our stay in old schoolyard cottage we have stayed here previously when the owner Jane did the bookings in 2019 it was great then and still is.Although looking abit tired but still a great place to stay, comfy and 2 mins from beach .It has everything you need for your holiday we will definitely be back again.Great place to stay
This tidy practical property is one I have stayed at before and hope to stay there again in the future.
Booked very last minute, primary requirements were close to the beach and easy access shower. Chalet is on a site which is excellently maintained, chalet itself was well maintained, clean and provided everything needed (including windbreak for the beach, umbrella for sitting in the sun) Dark skies at night (just what I love) and incredibly quiet - slept through the night, I didn't even hear the torrential rain on the Thursday night. There are no services on site, but the site is a 10 minute walk to the village centre, where there is a butcher, baker and grocers, pharmacy and other local ...more
Excellent location had a lovely holiday peaceful and restful short walk to every thing you need garden good for dog secure no way for him to get out would return.
We have been returning back to Starry Seaview for the last 4 years. The location is amazing, it’s comfortable and the sea view/sunsets are fabulous. Hoping to be able to return again next year!
Booked for a late break and were really pleased with the cottage. Very well maintained with everything you could possibly have needed. Located just a few yards from the seafront, shops & pubs - what more could you ask for. Have previously stayed at another Keyes accommodation in Sheringham which we have already booked again for next year but would have no hesitation in staying at Crab Cottage again.
Overall an average stay but we are sorry to say but some Attention to detail required for cleaning in certain areas ie shower cubicle this was an issue last year when we stayed and did bring this up with the owners, needs steam cleaning to get rid of scale with dirt attached, did not look pleasant, cooker hood, dusty able to write on this, kettle desperate for descaling or even renewing due to some rust. Bedding/towels immaculate. Maintenance - shower screen in main bathroom, rubber at the bottom covered in scale, takes 2 mins to renew, Location good, garden great with trains passing by, ...more
we loved our holiday at 25 new road sheringham we have stayed there many times and our dog liked his walks to beeston common and sheringham town centre
Lovely area, so relaxing and peaceful, good walks for dogs on beach also country side. Bungalow well equipped and comfortable. Hosts very welcoming also friendly.
This is the third time we have stayed in this apartment and it continues to impress. The location is brilliant and the sunrise and sunsets are spectacular The apartment is ideal for two people and very well equipped though some of the items are looking a little tired though are still functional Looking forward to returning next year if possible!
First rate property 2 mins from beach and close to all the pubs. This is the second time we have stayed here and we will be back again next year.
Had to hang about after a long journey between picking up the keys and moving out . Being out by 9.00 is a little early when you have young children to organise. Otherwise we had a fantastic holiday the accommodation was lovely (I would suggest that as well as towels guests are advised to bring shower/bath mats).Sheringham is a proper proper family seaside town with all the facilities you could wish for. I am already recommending Morris House to friends and colleagues.
Great location, comfortable flat with the bonus of parking. Shame about a 10% increase for next year.
Our second visit to The Prairie as it was so good last time. Property is well stocked with all the comestibles you need for your stay. It’s a 3 minute walk to the beach and into the town centre so an ideal location with space for three cars on the driveway. Customer service at Keys was excellent.
It’s our fifth time staying at Greenshores and we’ve always loved it. Our daughter and partner came to stay for the first two nights and are hoping to come again next time. There’s never been an issue with anything and is good value for money. There was only a couple of things I wanted to mention which is there wasn’t much hand soap left for us in either bathroom and only 3 small toilet rolls. We had booked for 7 nights. The garden we know is a wild garden but is looked a lot more unkept than it has done over previous years. The decking area had to be swept and washed cleaned which is one ...more
The kitchen equipment needs changing eg kettle toaster cups need a good clean The back garden grass needs cutting it was so long couldn't be used the fence needed painting and the paving cleaning Gaps needed sorting out or small dogs can get outside The bathrooms are very tired moldy tiles and stained toilet bowls strong smell of drains The door steps are very high back and front and the driveway is extra steep and small outside was always busy with parked cars
Excellent holiday cottage location on site parking a bonus inside the cottage very nice and spotlessly clean tv a bonus with prime tv only negative issue is the entrance to the property double door only allows one side to open the other stays locked can not get a mobility scooter in without having to dismantle it no mention of this in the discription but only issue and would rebook it again without hesitation would still give it 10 out of 10
Spent four nights in mid May, 4 Edal Court is a lovely flat in a residential road. Would definitely recommend to others. Few minutes walk from shops and sea front. Perfect for exploring Sheringham and surrounding area. Sheringham Park is well worth a visit, especially in May - spectacular rhododendrons. Staff in office very helpful. Hope to come back.
Annie's is a nice little cottage very close to shops and seafront but this year was very dusty, dirty and dog hair on kitchen and sitting room floors which was concerning as we had a 14 month old with us who was crawling/toddling around and everything goes in her mouth.
Nice clean family property in an excellent location with sea views from most rooms. We were 4 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs and had plenty of space but it might be a bit crowded with the maximum 11 people.
Sealink is a large property that is well located for easy access to the (dog friendly) beach and Sheringham town centre. The property itself is spacious and the bedrooms are particularly comfortable. The rest of the house is grand but in some areas will benefit from (I believe a planned) renovation. The garden is also spacious, south facing and was a great place to hang out with our dogs.
The Flints holiday home is a lovely bungalow in the garden of owners property and is perfectly located for the beach and amenities of Sheringham with its own parking which is why we booked it . The garden setting is lovely and we enjoyed it as if being at home The property itself was clean and tidy ,kitchen had everything we needed except a washing machine which we knew about before we arrived and there is a laundrette nearby ,however we could have done with an iron /ironing board as being there for two weeks and using laundrette there then was nothing to iron the clean clothes with . The...more
We have stayed here quite a few times. It remains our favourite choice of place to stay each year.We hope to return again next year. We have only one minor quibble. The TV screen is too small for the room and you need a telescope to see it from the sofa!!! But it is a minor quibble. Cleanliness is excellent. Furnishings are dated but still more than satisfactory. Location is brilliant. Close to seafront and to town centre.
Our 4th holiday in this lovely comfortable welcoming house. It has everything a family needs and more
A good stay. Location really good. Booking was easy. Parking nearby in Station car park was straight forward and only a short walk away.
Lovely cottage. Well fitted kitchen. Comfortable bedrooms and lounge. Patio back garden and small front garden to sit out and sunny conservatory. Secure gates for dogs and children. Shop, pub, fish n chips, restaurant, bus stop on the door step along with village green to exercise dog.
A lovely stay at the property. Enough spade for 3 adults and a child. Bedding, towels and crockery provided. Small garden spade for drying beachwear handy and the location of the property was ideal for exploring. A lovely property, a great price. Points to consider: ** the hot water taps are exceedingly hot- no thermostat to turn down so be mindful.
We loved our holiday at 38 Albert Street and our dog liked his walks to holt Country park and the town centre
The cottage provided the family with a glorious setting for our annual holiday. Thankfully the sun shone for us so the magnificent outlook was seen at its best and the outdoor veranda space was a joy. The accommodation worked perfectly well and the open plan ground floor meant that we could be together without feeling on top of each other. It’s location is ideal, being handy for both beach and shops and we would certainly recommend it and indeed may well book it again.
The Paddocks was ideal in every respect and we along with Jack, our rescue dog enjoyed some really nice walks which were not too far away. We could not fault the facilities whatsoever and the owner was very helpful making sure our holiday went well. Highly recommended.
We booked our stay in Sheringham as there was a steam train to Holt a bustling shopping opportunity and a number of quality restaurants. The house Seaview retreat was absolutely spotless but a good 20 minute walk into town which was the only real downside to our stay which we really enjoyed, Sheringham is a good base for trips to other special locations such as Cromer or Wells next the sea,
The accommodation is set in a lovely area which is nice and quiet. The seating, beds and shower were lovely and comfortable. However the bungalow itself wasn't cleaned very well, if at all before we arrived. Dirt and crisps under the seating and the chairs, the outside area hadn't been cleaned at all with weeds and dirt everywhere especially on the window sills and windows were filthy! The Kitchen looks and sounds old and is need of a major upgrade, the fridge freezer is not fit for purpose and has cracks on it the handle was broken as well as the fridge wasn't very cold (even on max setting)...more
Property description very misleading, space very restrictive entering the property, the space at the top of the stairs rather dangerous. Very little storage space upstairs and downstairs. The shower in the twin bedroom en-suite dangerous unable to adjust the temperature - the knob wouldn’t turn . Also the basins in the bathrooms were unusable - too small for purpose The property is totally enclosed in high fencing - very claustrophobic ! We love Sheringham and have visited many times but this holiday was a great disappointment , in fact from day1 we were counting the days to going home and l...more
House does not feel secure with only key provided was a double glazed door Multiple keys should be provided for buildings of more than one bedroom Inadequate number of wall sockets, use of multiple extension leads did not feel safe Lack of bath mats high risk of slipping out of bath or shower Cleaning not to a high enough standard for a dog friendly property, visible cobwebs and burnt food left in toaster One living room sofa old and uncomfortable, lack of seat cushion padding This property was adequate but did not equate to the weekly hire cost or standards for this cos...more
Once again we have really enjoyed our third stay at 9 Canada Road it is ideal for me,my daughter and son in law very clean nd comfortable and of course the unexpectedly fine weather helped. The accommodation is just right for us very cosy and everything you need is there. It is in a good position for both the beach and town highly recommended.
The cottage was at the end of a road which was a few minutes walk from the sea. It is easier to access via Beeston Road so you miss the busy High Street. The cottage itself was very comfortable and the outside area was very useful in the warm weather. The kitchen was mainly in a very good condition but the freezer part of the fridge had its door missing. It is very well equipped in case of the need to go downstairs in the dark. The car parking space is small but very handy. I think the neighbours have had problems with people parking and turning in their property but we had no problem. We h...more
Anchor cottage is the perfect place for a small family to stay. It is so close to the beach and shops that we were able to regularly pop back to pick up/drop items or use the toilet. The kitchen has everything you might need for. Self-catering holiday and the fact that each bedroom has a toilet is really useful. The only downside to this property is its size. Although it has 3 decent sized bedrooms, the living room would be tight for more than 4 adults. The only other inconvenience is the lack of a hall or porch to put shoes and coats. This resulted in us all leaving our shoes and coats in the...more
Ideal location for exploring Cromer. Having stayed many years ago, we knew what to expect. Easy to find with dedicated parking spot. Well equipped property with all you could need for a stay.
House was in need of a deep clean, one of the bathroom sinks clearly hadn't been cleaned and there was debris and dead fly on windowsill and flaky paint on one of the bedroom carpets. Showers temperamental and beds quite soft. Could do with more comfortable seating in lounge area. Location good for town centre
Hi we stopped at Bramble cottage which overall was lovely, however that was after we had brought our own air fresheners. I know pets do smell but perhaps to have a little more of this available, plug ins etc might just mush out the smells. Also the carpets and sofas could do with a bit of a deep clean as they do have a number of stains on them from what it looks like as little accidents from the dogs. I know these cant be helped and some people can clean up better but perhaps to have some carpet cleaner to remove the stains just as they happen would be a benefit.
Lovely house and garden, well equipped but spoiled by a few minor details: kitchen utensils not cleaned properly, saucepans and frying pans and kitchen draws not very clean and there was very little kitchen roll. There was hardly any toilet roll in upstairs loo and only one roll in downstairs shower room: this was between 3 of us for a week (it's a good job we brought some of our own!). Finally, if we needed to use the washing machine there was no soap powder or fabric conditioner, luckily, again, we brought some of our own. All in all, not good form for a rental costing nearly £900 for the we...more
Beautiful apartment very well equipped and comfortable, could do with some oven gloves though. Owners were fantastic but unfortunately let down by the organisational system as the apartment had not been cleaned nor bedding and towels replaced. There was no answer or response from the emergency line so the owners sorted this out for us and arranged for the cleaners to come at short notice on the Sunday of a Bank Holiday weekend. We were then left with not enough towels so ended up sharing, as due to the Bank Holiday, we didnt want to disturb the owners again. Location was fantastic and woul...more
Our first time (4 adults) in Sheringham and we loved it. Really enjoyed our stay in Salty Towers. Ideal location with the Main Street and Promenade a very short walk away. The accommodation was clean, well looked after and comfortable. When we return to the area in the future Salty Towers will definitely be a consideration
Could really do with updating but this is reflected in the price. Surprisingly spacious with nice garden. Good access to playing field and short walk to beach and town. Only had 4 forks but quickly remedied by Keys and cleaner. Maybe owner should spend £50 at IKEA on more pans, dustpan brush with handle and broom with bristles! No wi fi which is unusual these days. However price very reasonable and ideal for families with children. We've been twice so suits us.
Romany Rye is ideally situated in Sheringham, with the bonus of a car parking space. If you park up you won’t need the car again as it is just a short walk to the beach, steam railway, mainline railway, bus and shops. The cottage is very quaint and quirky but there are steps between levels so you need to be quite able. Ideal place to visit if you like a quiet holiday.
we loved our holiday at walma and our dog liked his walks to cromer and west runton and sheringham town centre
I would like to start my review on a positive note by saying how excellent Keys Holidays are, I have holidayed with them for a few years now & found them to be a great company being very professional & quick to sort any queries & problems, which has been very few over the year. I holidayed at 5 Museum Cottage at the end of February for the at least the 3rd time, this is a very sweet little cottage with a welcome wood burner for the colder months, very comfortable beds & close to the beautiful town & beach. Sadly on this visit I was disappointed to find the wood burner had not been cleaned ou...more
