Very spacious and full of character. Quiet and peaceful. Lots of hot water and good en-suite facilities. Children loved the on site indoor swimming pool.
We had a lovely restful winter break in Sheringham. The apartment was fabulous, we would definitely stay again. Finished to a very high specification, and nicely furnished, there was even a washer-dryer and dishwasher and a very well kitted out kitchen. It was toasty warm when we came back from some long walks along the beach and around the town. Two extremely minor issues - there wasn't a hairdryer and there were some tapping noises which we think must have been from the central heating. Both these items were passed on to the agents, who was extremely helpful.
WE spent a cosy, relaxing week. The house is a short walk to both the town & beach so hardly used our car during stay. Extremely well equipped, with everything you could possibly need.
Our third stay in Gansey Cottage, Sheringham. Perfect location, ideal for walks along the beach. Shops just 2 minutes away.
A lovely holiday home, quiet, secluded location but not remote. Everything provided. Warm and cosy. Already booked for next year at the same price! Condition and facilities are a credit to the owners. Nelson, our pug loved it too ❤
Would recommend this property just concerned that the more people find it the less likely I am to be able to book it again. Very clean, nice location, easy parking, secure garden basically everything you need to relax on holiday. Keys cottages were also excellent.
This was a wonderful holiday home. Well located, comfortable, well furnished and thoughtfully equipped. The house is quiet, the rooms are spacious and the gardens secure and extensive. We would recommend it wholeheartedly.
When we arrived we couldn’t believe how lovely the Orchard looked. The property looked beautiful from the outside and even better inside.Cleanliness is definitely the priority here, ,nothing was left out all you needed was there. It was nice to sit outside and relax in the evenings there were two tables and chairs in two different locations well planned out. There was a lovely welcome tray on our arrival. We met the owners Julie and Tim during our stay both very nice people and so helpful. We are planning to go back to the Orchard in the near future
Our 2nd stay here and it didn’t disappoint. Close to all amenities. Easy access to the beach. Well stock kitchen. Very comfortable accommodation.
our dog loved going for walkes to beeston common and going to pretty corner woods and going to west runton
snow and gale force winds...think we pick the wrong week for a 4 day break. Abeautiful apartment, warm and cosy, will probably book again instead of day trips to Mundesley, we love this village
A very comfortable cottage and beautifully positioned on the common just a few minutes from the town.
We have stayed here on three occasions and every time have found the apartment to be extremely clean and comfortable. It’s location is perfect and the car parking space a real bonus.
Everything as advertised and more , well appointed couldn't ask for more . Our dog loved the garden and watching the pheasants .
What can we say! The cottage is one of the best we have stayed in in Sheringham (family's second home) . It is cosy. Well catered for with everything anyone could want or need. Walking through the front door one feels immediately at home. For the time of the year the weather wasn't too bad, but warm and cosy inside we didn't really notice the bad few times. We have stayed at Cockleshell before and both times were lovely experiences. Thank you.
We were blown away as soon as we stepped through the door. This bungalow has everything you could possibly want, it truly is like a “home from home”. Very comfortable furniture, beds etc (although the pillows are a bit hard). Great enclosed garden, so I knew our dog was safe from the trains that run at the bottom of the garden.
My reservations about staying in a flat in the centre of Sheringham town were unfounded, as the flat is both quiet and surprisingly private, thanks in part to its elevated roof garden. It was clean and spacious and it's central location perfect for the non-drivers in our party. The absence of a designated parking space was not ideal however there is a public carpark very close by that is covered by CCTV and is free from 6pm-8am (we avoided early rising by parking up at 6pm and paying for one hours parking). Sky view represents good value for money when compared to a holiday house, so if you ...more
We had another great week in Sheringham. The accommodation was first class and was in an ideal spot!
Lovely accommodation, only a couple of minutes into sheringham. Very clean and comfortable. Will definitely be staying again.
As always a lovely welcoming house, fresh clean and warm, with everything provided you could possibly need. Ideally situated for all amenities, with the added bonus of parking.
we loved our stay at 7 new road we took our dog for walks to beeston common and around sheringham and to the shops in sheringham
As usual fab holiday in Sherringham & stay in Scrimshaw Cottage - our 4th in this property. The cottage is well positioned for the beach, shops, cafes & pubs and is a great find - good value & really comfy Unfortunately this will be our last stay in this cottage - the change over day has changed to a Friday & this is totally unsuitable, meaning an extra day of leave as unable to get to Sherringham after work. A real shame as we love this little cottage.
Had a nice week in Sheringham have stayed here before but not in this property we liked this flat as its near the town centre and a short walk to the seafront
Our second stay at this property which is perfectly equipped and designed for those, like myself, who unfortunately have mobility issues.
Hi, we stayed at gardeners rest in Sheringham Norfolk. We had a lovely time thank you very quiet road .very nice clean house everything is included on the holiday. No need to take bedding or anything. Lovely kitchen nice big shower very comfortable thank you,
Excellent stay in a pet friendly house . We have an old dog so a secure garden was a must. Comfortable. Location ok for us, 5-10 minutes walk to town centre, which may be a bit far for some but there is a bus stop very near. Look out for the Blue Guest folder which we only found on the last day. It is helpful. Off road parking for a couple of cars.
We had an absolutely fantastic short break away at Gull View. The flat is in a perfect location with incredible sea views……however what made it for us was the little welcome package we were given.
Brilliant place for our family fantastic location .we have been coming to sheringham for a long time best place we have stayed .Wanted to book for next year but already taken . Keys as usual very helpful make booking a holiday easy
151 Kings Chalet Park, Cromer is a very pleasant place to stay for a holiday in North Norfolk. It is well presented, clean and comfortable and in a convenient location for access to the town centre and the beach. We have been coming to Cromer for a holiday every summer for around 30 years now and have usually stayed at Kings Chalet Park. We have lost count of the number of different chalets we have stayed in over the years, but we can honestly say that 151 is one of the better ones. All of the chalets on the site are self-catering so we are well used to bringing our own basic supplies such as ...more
we loved our holiday at canary cottage we been there many times our dog loves going for his walks around beeston common
Beautiful cottage just a short walk to the sea. Very clean and comfortable. Everything required for a relaxing holiday. Comfy beds and pretty garden. In a great position for travelling around. Owner very nice and even provided a very good welcoming gift. Excellent. Highly recommend.
We found this cottage had everything you could want but not enough heat as we picked a particularly wintry week. Perfect location with everything easy to walk to ie. Beach shops cafes.
Accom looks dated from outside, but once inside has everything you need for a break. Close to see being a 5-10 minute walk to lovely beaches, some being dog friendly. Nice touch in chalet with comfy outdoor recliners to sit and relax overlooking fields. Would recommend
6th visit to this cottage will be back later in the year . Perfect location for visiting the surrounding area.
Sheringham ideal for me to meet up with family living in the area. Cottage good for family meals. Car parking a bonus.
Perfect place to explore Cromer and more. Absolutely spotless, well kept chalet. We will return next year.
Excellent location as we were visiting family, shower could do with upgrading, and some areas could do with a coat of paint.
We had a lovely holiday with excellent weather. The property was very good and the location is very convenient for the beach, cliff walks and all the local facilities. Sea views and the patio area are a real bonus. Visited Felbrigg Hall and Sheringham Park and had a day out on the North Norfolk Railway - all recommended!
Fine.Warm and comfortable. Didn't need anything bought except food. Well provisioned. Commmfy sitting room. Liked the bed linen. no complaints
Lovely position, but you don’t get any sun . That’s ridiculous I have nothing else to say.i will just say hope you have a good day
All I wanted was to be able to see and hear the sea. There were lots of places to get take away food at excellent value and great taste ect. Only problem being disabled hell of a job to get in or out of property.
Perfect house and perfect location - we stayed here Christmas 2022 and it was amazing, upon arrival we found a hamper packed with goodies, the house is lovely, its very spacious and very well decorated, yes the house is old and lived in but we loved it especially with young children , the area of Sheringham is a little Gem, once we parked up and settled in we didnt use the car until we left. supermarkets about 5 min walk away, plenty of local shops and restaurants, the beach is a 5 minute walk away and is lovely.
We had a very happy holiday with our daughter and grandchildren. The accommodation was very comfortable every thing you needed was provided. The only drawback was the dangerous step into the bathroom we all fell down it at least once.a slope fitted could help we had a lovely stay and would return in the future.
All very nice need more info were heater in bathroom works and hot water and were cutlery door is I enjoyed my stay will book next time I come to norfolk
I had a wonderful stay at this chalet. Only fault was there wasn’t any oven gloves! Lovely cosy chalet. Great location and good value. Provides almost everything you need. Has lovely wallpaper which is nice, makes it feel homely. Will be back again.
we loved stay at 22 cliff road our dog like his walks to beeston common and to petty corner woods and around sheringham
Our return to 10 Vista Court was just as good as the first time we stayed in May. A great location, close to everything in Sheringham town, having designated parking is always a bonus too. Very comfortable place to stay with most things you need. Hopefully we’ll return again next year.
The flat was as good as the photos and having its own car parking made it a win-win. It is just a few minutes from the beach, the shops and our favourite the steam railway and yet it was a very quiet location without much traffic noise.
Really good holiday bungalow. Only negative no wi fi okokokookkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjjkjkjkjkjkjkjjkj
Lovely clean cottage ideal location to all amenities with added bonus of parking space. Would defenently would book again
A wonderfully situated property with ample local parking.. Everything we needed to cater for ten people, plentiful crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. The beds were comfortable and the storage ample. We have been on self-catering holidays for more than fifty years and have seldom found better.
This is the second time we have stayed in the same chalet and were delighted with the extras we got after not having these last year ( due to covid restrictions) along with handy things like soap, kitchen roll, bath mat, tea, sugar and coffee we also got greeted with a fresh Punnet of raspberries a packet of biscuits, milk and some local honey which was a lovely surprise. The chalet is well equipped with utensils and kitchenware and is clean and practical for our needs. The location is great for a walk to the beach the nearby woods and field and also in to town.
Thank you for a magical stay, Morris House exceeded our expectations it was lovely & warm when we arrived & decorated for Christmas we had all the utensils we needed for a large family The location was perfect walking distance to beaches shops restaurants & pubs .The Grandkids said it was a Christmas to remember. The staff at Keys cottages were really helpful & friendly they went above & beyond to help even returning my slow cooker lid that I had left behind & only asking for a donation towards a charity of my choice
Enjoyed a great holiday at Green Shores, very private and peaceful, lots of wildlife to enjoy, good value.
As previous visits to The Annexe it was as expected and mother was content with what she was comfortable with having lived in Sheringham for many years she likes to reminisce And so we had a look at all familiar places and enjoyed our stay
Lovely holiday let. Spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and so close to town and the beach. Already booked again for this year.
We had a good walking weekend based on staying here and the location was excellent. We were very close to the North Norfolk Coastal Path and to shops and restaurants so we did not need to use the car at all during the stay. Everything was extremely clean and the place was well equipped. It was nice to be in a traditional old Victorian property with so much natural wood in the construction and period features.
Great location with lovely sea view. Cottage was basic but adequate apart from the duvets and pillows. The attic bedroom was very cold. The radiator didn't seem to get very hot. The duvets were not warm enough for winter and the pillows were extremely thick and very hard.
We had a lovely comfortable stay at Brook Cottage. It is very well appointed and in a perfect location for exploring the North Norfolk coastline. If you want peace and quiet, then this is the spot for you.
We had a lovely stay in a lovely spacious property. It was ideally situated for visiting North Norfolk. The property was very comfortable with everything you could need for a self catering holiday. The pool was great and the booking system worked well. We also enjoyed using the tennis courts and play area. Our grandsons loved the trampoline.
we loved our holiday at 5 st austins grove our dog liked his walks around beeston common and going to sheringham town centre
We were looking for a place to stay for just 4 nights and this fitted the bill. We did not use the oven but missed a washing machine. The laundrette in town was not open for the public when I needed it so had to do essentials by hand. No washing line but I improvised. Otherwise it was a pleasant place to stay and convenient to beach and shops.
Very good location, comfy cottage, everything we needed. Garden was in need of attention. Some damp in the rooms. Smelly conservatory.
dissapointed with the noise of builders next door knocking walls about. Windows needed good clean. seating not relaxing
We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage is in a great location, near the beach and shop but tucked away in a quiet spot. The cottage looks out over fields, we loved sitting on the patio watching the sun set. Very relaxing. Would book again.
We had a lovely week in the cottage. It's small & quirky but is comfortable & has everything you need. The welcome gift was very thoughtful & appreciated. We had one small problem with a leak but staff at Keys were great & on the ball plus friendly owners very quick to respond, very apologetic & problem solved within couple of hours. Would highly recommended.
Had a lovely stay in this delightful cottage. Really nice and loved the location, everything provided and very comfortable, spotlessly clean. Would definitely stay there again.
This was our Second visit here , didn’t disappoint. Roomy , comfortable and appreciated the recent updates . 10 friends for a weekend break and The Prairie again met our needs very well. Location is fantastic and we didn’t need to use the cars at all . Thoroughly recommend staying here.
Enjoyed out short break. Bonus that we didn't need to use car to get to shops or to walk the dog. Brilliant walks right on the doorstep. Yes the stairs aren't for the faint hearted but OK once you get used to them. Cutlery wasn't perhaps the cleanest + a cup. Handy to have log burner but beware unless perhaps some has been left by previous visitors there is no wood etc. We had 1 log and newspaper. Fortunately we brought some with us due to the time of the year.
Flat in the most central convenient place, parking space was a real bonus. We enjoyed our stay very much but we just felt the flat was very tired, the mattress on the double bed was very uncomfortable, not enough cutlery or crockery, and the blinds in bedrooms and kitchen were all broken so we were unable to have them open, the bathroom definitely needs some tlc. With a little imagination this would make a lovely holiday home.
we loved the cottage at 25 new road we took the dog for walks at the common we went to the cafes in sheringham for dinner
We had a lovely chilled break, really enjoyable. Sheringham has everything you need for a fabulous holiday, weather was perfect too.
A very well equipped property in an excellent location. Everything provided for a comfortable stay and the car parking was a bonus. A two minute walk to the main street with a choice of restaurants and pubs
This is a delightful little home in a great location. The area is very quiet even though close to the fire station! We only heard engine once during week and luckily this was during the day! The seafront is a few minutes walk away and town not much further. Morrisons is also few minutes walk for all your provisions. There is a big car park opposite where we parked for the whole week with no problems. The kitchen is well-equipped but freezer needs defrosting as completely frozen over. There is a downstairs toilet in addition to family bathroom upstairs. The two sofas are really comfy and lov...more
Excellent facilities throughout.HOWEVER, I understand why we were not allowed in to the property until 3pm. But that reason,COVID, is past and it gets dark by 4/5 pm and I think you should return to 3pm.a.s.a.p.
Very disappointing. Death-trap bathroom, no non-slip bath mat or any grab rails. Only heating in bathroom is from heated towel rail which totally inadequate. Black mould and unstuck tiles round back door. Paint around dining room window flaking. Bedrooms furnished to bare minimum.
The cottage was clean and tidy the only thing the sitting area could maybe re jigged slightly maybe a small comfy sofa where the church pew is placed and a smaller folding dining table placed near the double doors and the TV placed opposite, the seating that is there is not the most comfortable apart from that my stay was very enjoyable.
We have just had an extremely enjoyable week at Berry Cottage. The property itself situated in Beeston Regis. Personally, for us as we had my young granddaughter with us, it was too far a walk in to Sheringham itself, which meant using the car for all journeys. This was a negative for us as we are used to staying actually in Sheringham, but we knew at the time of booking that the walk would be too long. For adults and older children it would certainly be doable. We found the property very comfortable, nice clean beds and well appointed kitchen. It was nice to be in a property where there was ...more
This cottage is very compact but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a great location tucked away just off the High Street. The cottage was warm enough for the mild winter weather we had. The only drawback was lack of Internet which I would think would be a requisite particularly for a winter stay.
This is a constructive review - not a moan! We have had a lovely stay at the house and have had a lovely holiday. Would we go back to walma? Absolutely!! If…….. - there were comfier chairs in the television room, the garden was a little more secure for the dog and maybe some instructions on how to use the hob (all the visual clues have been worm away from the hob itself. Whilst they are small things to fix, a safe pooch and a comfy bottom are quite important to us . Clare
This is a lovely cottage which is very close to the beach and the town. The parking is a nice bonus.
Brilliant location & secure parking. UUnfortunately we arrived the same time as that awful 1940's weekend. We would book with keys again
