Located in Sheringham, close to Beeston Common with its abbey ruins and renowned Priory Maze and Garden, this renovated cottage has a cosy woodburner and small secluded outside seating area, the perfect bolthole for a couple or small family all year round.

Very nice cottage,Very well equiped.Location was good short walk to the High street.Pub across the road serves very good food and drink. Also Newsagent/Convenience shop very close.Only reason I gave a 4 for comfort was the very steep staircase.

Hi we stopped at Bramble cottage which overall was lovely, however that was after we had brought our own air fresheners. I know pets do smell but perhaps to have a little more of this available, plug ins etc might just mush out the smells.
Also the carpets and sofas could do with a bit of a deep clean as they do have a number of stains on them from what it looks like as little accidents from the dogs.
I know these cant be helped and some people can clean up better but perhaps to have some carpet cleaner to remove the stains just as they happen would be a benefit.

Lovely place to stay, would recommend it to anyone. We did have to buy our own wok as the frying pan etc were not family size but otherwise a wonderful experience.

The cottage is really cute but would benefit from a deep clean. Lots of mould round the windows which is not good health wise. Few missed cobwebs not a problem...though it made me wonder what else had been missed that was less visible. Also....never stayed ANYWHERE where at least ONE toilet roll was not provided.

We had a fabulous long weekend at Bramble Cottage in Sheringham. The cottage is in a fantastic location for all the local attractions and facilities. Shops, pubs, restaurants and the railway are all only a short walk away. There is a lovely park across the road and lots or walking trails, perfect if you have a dog with you. The cottage itself is great, small, but everything you need. The stairs are steep and the steps are narrow. OK to go up, but coming down could be a challenge if you have mobility issues. For this reason, I personally wouldn't recommend the cottage for small children. Also note that the garden is not immediately accessible from the property, you need to walk across the parking space. Therefore, you cannot just open the door and let the dog out or let children play unattended. The cottage is also on a busy main road. I would also note that there can be problems driving out of the allocated parking space as vans parked along the road can restrict the view, so caution is required coming out onto the main road.
However, none of those things were major issues and we had a great time.

This is a great little cottage. So handy and yet away from the hustle and bustle. The allocated parking space is a huge bonus.
The traffic noise can be a bit annoying at times but the great location and convenience of the property make up for it. Ideal for those with a dog as walks on the common are literally on the doorstep.

Nice cosy cottage - small but had everything we needed as a family of four (children aged 11&13 probably not suitable/ enough space for older children). Good location and clear, friendly communication from agency.

I really do not like being negative . I was advised that the owners need to know ,as probably unaware .

On arrival, we were initially pleased ,private parking a bonus.
Bed was small double but very comfortable to be honest .

Lounge cosy and clean ,visible dog hair (appreciate difficult to get out of carpets)dusty blinds and a piece of blind missing on the side window ,sills and windows needed cleaning skirting boards dark with dust and marks.
Kitchen utensils,I washed before using, oven needs a good clean .Smoke alarm went off even when I did toast .
Bathroom needed attention to again woodwork and shower tray .
All in all just needs a thorough clean through.
Still enjoyed our break in Sheringham .

Nice cottage, excellent location.Ideal place to get the bus from across the road to Cromer etc.Handy little shop opposite
Stairs are a problem in cottage, very steep. Nice lounge, very comfortable. Cushions on chair and sofa would be added bonus.
Not sure what is the matter with fridge, but door got hot and milk and other things went off. Would advise getting a cutlery drawer as didn't like cutlery sitting on window sill. But all in all it was a good stay.

Although advertised as small, this cottage was tiny. Not suitable for 4 people to stay comfortably. One stall was broken so we couldn't all sit around the table, Would have been a struggle with young children.
The property was poorly cleaned on arrival and there was strong evidence with dog hair and the smell, of the dog that had been there before us.

The cottage was really homely and had everything we needed.the stairs are really steep, my husband came down them backwards! I did see silverfish in the smalk bedroom but we didn't sleep in there anyway.

One downside was being on a main road, if the windows were open it was very noisy.

I wish the garden was attached to the house as having a dog meant we couldnt let him out but the Common was across the road anyway.

Id recommend for couples only as space is at a premium. Location was 10 min walk to town so that was great

Enjoyed out short break. Bonus that we didn't need to use car to get to shops or to walk the dog. Brilliant walks right on the doorstep. Yes the stairs aren't for the faint hearted but OK once you get used to them. Cutlery wasn't perhaps the cleanest + a cup. Handy to have log burner but beware unless perhaps some has been left by previous visitors there is no wood etc. We had 1 log and newspaper. Fortunately we brought some with us due to the time of the year.

We are a family of four and thought this cottage was the most perfect place. It had everything we needed for a 2 week stay. It was clean, near to pubs and restaurants and very comfortable
And with only a 10 minute walk to the beach - what more can you ask?!

Good base for visiting beaches and attractions. Comfortable and well enough equipped for evenings in and meals. Small detached courtyard was available but we would have chosen accommodation with larger garden if we hadn't planned to get out every day.

Will happily stay again when in the area.

Unfortunately strong smell of dog and pet hairs on carpet and sofa in living room spoilt my stay. Location idea could walk into Sherringham and near Cromer. Stairs steep but we were aware of this before going and they were manageable but I would recommend using stair gate at nighttime even for adults if you need to get to the bathroom in the dark for your own peace of mind. Property would benefit from a coat of paint as general a bit tired and dated. Outdoor garden is separate from the property, very small and prison cell like didn’t use. Parking space is quite tight if you have a larger car.

A great little cottage. Compact but very comfortable and extremely well equipped. Very well positioned whether you have your own transport or not. If you do, the parking space is a real bonus. Ideally positioned for dog walks, literally on the doorstep. All in all a little gem of a place. Enjoyed a really good week here and hope to return.

Had a fantastic weekend at Brambles. Our first time to Sheringham and this was a perfect base. Perfect for 2 guests and snug and cosy. Do note though the stairs are very steep so if you struggle with mobility it's bot so good. Parking space and sun trap garden a bonus.

A really lovely few days spent at Bramble Cottage.
Very comfy bed and sofa’s, well equipped kitchen, very clean and very good use made of a small space.
Took lovely early morning walks with the dog to the beach and the town too is within walking distance.
Main road location was no problem to us at all
The only issue for some I could see is that the cottage has a very steep stair case, which is addressed on the website.
Would return in an instance and hope that I do

The cottage was in a perfect place to explore the town and the local attractions, with many in walking distance so it was lovely not to have to get in the car every day. The cottage itself had every utensil, pan and item you could possible need and it made it feel like home from home. A really restful week.

This little cottage is cleverly designed as it is tiny. However it had not been thoroughly cleaned as was full of pet hairs. The bunk beds are much higher than a standard bunk bed causing my 5 year old to fall out and bang his head from the lower bed. There was only a high table and high stools to eat from and unfortunately this resulted in a trip to A&E for my 2 year old with a head injury and laceration to the face. The stairs are dangerously steep to walk down. The property only had two small plans so it would be impossible to cook for a family of 4. Keys were quick to send the cleaners back which I appreciated but by then my stay had already been spoilt and the children’s toys and clothes covered in hairs. I would recommend that only families with older children stay here and even then be fully aware that space is extremely limited. A memorable stay for all of the wrong reasons.

We had a nice stay at the cottage. It was very clean and exactly as described by the agent. The cottage is well equipped and had a lovely log burner too.
We have a small dog and was grateful for the separate courtyard to take her which was enclosed.
I struggled to sleep with light coming through the bedroom blind but could be easily rectified.
It was ideal for a mini break.
