This cottage has everything you need to have a great time in sheringham,location close to high st ,parking for 2 vehicles,comfortable beds,3 toiletsand easÿ to use c/heating,just be aware there are a few steps on ground floor to negotiate.

Keys are always amazing in their customer service. Efficient and friendly. We always book with them. Compass Rose is a home from home. Comfortable, clean and very spacious. A perfect position for the beach and town and added bonus of having 2 parking spaces.

We stayed at the cottage for a week with our grandchildren very comfortable and exceptionally well equipment. Enjoyed by all. My 8 year old granddaughter wrote in the comments book ‘Thank you for letting us stay here lots of cool stuff and near the beach really enjoyed it.’

This was our 2nd stay at Compass Rose, so we knew what to expect.

We had another lovely week, in Sheringham and beyond. We like the proximity to the beach/coastal path and to the High Street in Sheringham, the off road parking, comfy beds, 3 loos, well equipped kitchen and great location for exploring North Norfolk.

Higher speed Wi-Fi and a washing machine would be welcome additions to the cottage.

But, overall a relaxing and peaceful location, with great amenities on the doorstep.

A very nice house, it looks small from the outside, but once you get inside there is loads of room, with plenty of seating, and only a five minute walk to the east beach or town, the only complaint we had to put in was that there is no lock on the upstairs toilet door, we will certainly try and book the house again.

A very roomy property with lots of character. Very close to the beach, pubs and restaurants. Off-road parking is a real bonus. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Compass Rose was delightful. Extremely clean, a comfy bed (personally would have preferred a king sized bed, rather than 2 singles joined together), well equipped kitchen (although I’m not a fan of electric hobs so didn’t use it much). Good sized rooms with great pictures etc which made it feel homely. The garden was a sun trap so it was unfortunate the cold wind prevented me from using it more! The heating control wasn’t where stated and the television took a while to work out (BBC 1 in particular wasn’t tuned in right?) but as it was a Bank Holiday we called the owner who was happy to help. Overall a very pleasant stay and the proximity close to the beach and town centre made it ideal.

A comfortable, well equipped cottage in an extremely good position for the beachfront and town.
The new owners have added a family size fridge/freezer which was in our opinion very much needed.
A washing machine would be a very convenient addition too!
Would stay here again.

All crockery and kitchen requirements you could need and three W.C’s was very useful with having a large family gathering in the evenings. Ideal location as only 100 yards from the beach front and similar distance to local shops and amenities. Would recommend.

This was our second visit to Sheringham, our first staying at Compass Rose Cottage. We found the cottage to be exactly as expected, clean and comfortable and very central for the beach and town. Sheringham has a variety of shops and eateries, with a good bus service to local towns and Norwich.

We could not fault the accommodation, it was clean, tidy and very well furnished. The location is excellent, literally just a couple of minutes to either the beach or high street. We enjoyed our stay and would use the cottage again.

Dear Mr & Mrs Robinson, we thank you for your comments and have now supplied outdoor cushions and a parasol. We shall also try and change the lighting in the kitchen area. (depends if we can get a brighter lightbulb small enough to squeeze into the enclosed glass cover! ) Finally, we are looking at the possibility of supplying a larger fridge/freezer. This pretty and spacious property is a stones throw from the beach. It was very clean and had everything you needed. However there is some minor works being carried out to a neighbours property to the front so some noise disruption occurred early in the morning.
