We have just returned from another stay in this comfortable house. It’s perfect for us and our 2 dogs. A short walk from the high street and close enough to walk to the beach. Everything you need is provided in the kitchen if you are self catering. The lounge is very comfortable for the evening but we use the sofa in the kitchen if we’re in during the day as it’s a nice sunny area. The bathroom is adequate and the bedroom is very comfortable.

We find plenty to do in this lovely part of North Norfolk with it’s beautiful coastline and several National Trust properties to visit close by.

I’m sure we will be visiting again. Thank you.

The beach house is a good size for a holiday let, spacious rooms and well equipped. The house was clean apart from crockery and cutlery which all needed cleaning before use. We had a great stay everything we needed and close to both sea and town.

We’ve stayed at the Beach house twice this year. It’s a spacious house with home comforts, heating you can adjust and good Wi-Fi. It’s always lovely and clean with nice bedding and towels.
The kitchen has a sofa so you can relax and enjoy the afternoon sun or chat whilst cooking.
Overall a very comfortable stay and Keys were very accomodating for our late booking request and arrival on a Sunday, leaving the keys in one of the their key safes.

The Beach house has all mod cons, Wi-Fi and smart tv, the beds and sofas are very comfortable. A door into the garden lead to a sunny spot with seating. The kitchen area is well equipped and spacious. In a quiet spot but only a few minutes from the beach and the shops. Off road parking for a medium sized car is a bonus.

This was the third time we have rented this house and we have booked again for next year. That probably says it all!

When you step through the door the first thing you notice is how clean it looks and smells. Centrally located a short walk to the high street and seafront. We have 2 dogs so it’s perfect for us it has a nice big tiled kitchen with a small sofa area. Private enclosed garden and off road parking is a bonus. Most of the houses in this road have to park on the road so space is at a premium. Exceptionally well equipped kitchen nice dining room very relaxing lounge and downstairs cloakroom. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms plenty of storage space. The mattress in the main bedroom is a little soft for us as we’re used the a firm mattress at home but that’s personal taste. Small bathroom with shower over the bath.

We love an Autumn break on the North Norfolk coast hence being regular guests at this property. It’s the best we have found and it suits our needs. As soon as we unpack we relax as we know whatever the weather throws at us we always have a cosy house to come back to. The beaches Wells-next-the-Sea Holkam etc are unbeatable for dog owners.

We look forward to returning next year.

Our first thoughts on arrival was the driveway was only suitable, in length, for cars up to 14 feet, (4.3 metres). Any excess length would mean obstructing the pavement. On entering the property we found it to be clean and tidy with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The beds were very comfortable and enjoyed a good night's sleep throughout our stay. The location being very handy to walks into town, being only 10 minutes.
However, one downside, (we haven't encountered this on previous holidays), was the lack of detailed instructions for the more technical equipment, e.g. TV, coffee maker, dishwasher etc, particularly the TV as it is not of standard use.

This was our 2nd stay in this lovely roomy house. It has everything we need for a comfortable stay in Sheringham. In a quiet road walking distance to the high street and seafront. We love North Norfolk and take advantage of the Station again walking distance from the house. We have 2 dogs so we do the beach walk to Cromer and get the train back which makes a lovely day. The enclosed rear garden is a sun trap and ideal for us and a safe space for the dogs. The kitchen is well equipped with the addition of a sofa. Big dining area and a beautiful lounge. Comfortable large bedrooms with comfortable beds. The shower in the bathroom is a little feeble but that doesn’t detract from the overall comfort of this property. Good to be able to park on the drive too.

We’ve already booked again for next year so hopefully that’s a good recommendation!

Dealing with Keys was as usual quick easy an efficient, very welcoming and pleasant staff at the Sheringham office for key pick up and drop off. Beverley cottage was excellent, we have stayed before and knew what to expect. Such a large airy house that is very calming. Love the seating area in the kitchen for some afternoon relaxation. The situation of Beverley is ideal for a stroll into the town and seafront, approx 10 mins, so we could leave the car and walk in with ease.

The house was bigger than we anticipated, being a 3-bed semi but with bed 3 closed, so downstairs was very spacious. The furnishings were very good quality, and the kitchen was well equipped. The garden, although small, was very usable, with a terrace area and table/chair wicker set in good condition. We would definitely stay again.
Apart from the above, we found the duvets to be inadequate for this time of year; perhaps extra bedding on-site would be useful. Also the second bedroom needs a wardrobe.
0ur main concern was that there was no mattress protector on the double bed, and the mattress was stained quite a lot, so a mattress protector would have been more hygienic. We hope that this will be remedied before we book another time.
We were also surprised that no hairdryer was supplied - as is normally the case.

This is the 3rd or 4th time we have booked via Keys and they are very good. Always helpful and, if there should be a problem (we did have a problem with drains last year!), it is sorted out very quickly.
Beverley Cottage was lovely and the fact it had parking was a most definite added bonus. It is within walking distance of the seafront and also the town. Lovely to be able to go out for an evening walk along the seafront and then pop into one of the local pubs for a local beer!
Our only complaints were that there was no shower mat for the bath which was incredibly slippery, so we had to go out and buy one. There was also no hairdryer which is unusual these days but, luckily, my partner always packs one.
All in all, a lovely cottage - very warm and cosy and we would definitely book again.

Beverley Cottage is nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. It is in a very good location and we enjoyed our week here. Sheringham is a lovely little town providing everything you need.
However, we were disappointed on a few things and didn't find the cottage very welcoming:
No welcome pack, not even a pint of milk bearing in mind we arrived Christmas Eve (Have always had a welcome pack at other cottages, usually a pint of milk and other bits like cake, snacks, tea/coffee)
No cleaning products, spare bin bags, condiments or extra loo rolls. One loo rol per bathroom provided were cheap and thin!
No welcome folder or visitors book
Dogs only allowed in kitchen and dining room - so not so dog friendly!
Heating restricted, not on during day. Luckily had a gas fire but this was very difficult to get lit
Log burner but no logs or tools. Have had a log burner before and always given first bag of logs
Very old TV providing only Freeview. Most properties we have rented over the years have a Smart TV
Cooker very tempramental as well, oven took ages to warm up
Bed comfortable but duvet and pillows flat as a pancake. We used those off single beds too

We have been renting properties at least twice a year for our holidays for the last 8 years due to having dogs. You come to expect certain things, especially for the price you pay and Beverley Cottage failed miserably.

A very comfortable cottage 10 minutes walk from the high street and seafront in a nice quiet street with the bonus of parking on the driveway. This house suited us perfectly as we have 2 dogs the secure garden was a must. The house was nice and clean with plenty of space beautifully decorated. Much bigger than we expected the kitchen was well equipped and roomy. After the hot summer the weather changed quite suddenly when we arrived and we had to turn the heating on we did struggle with the Nest system to start with but eventually got the hang of it! We had a great nights sleep in the very comfortable bed in the main bedroom.

All in all we had a great time we love the area and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay we have rebooked this cottage for next year!

We enjoyed our stay in Beverley cottage a good base for seeing the area
It was listed as dog friendly but the restriction of no dog in lounge split the family up and caused some friction
With my husband sitting watching tv in lounge, our daughter and small dog in kitchen area and me going in between them
For this reason I would probably not book his property again unless we came as a couple with no dog
That saying we loved Sheringham and will visit resort again

This is the second time we have stayed here.
The location is excellent, just a short stroll to the sea, plus it has parking.
The property is a good size and has two toilets, so all in all, ideal for our family holiday this Easter.

I spent four nights here as a base while moving to Sheringham and it surpassed my expectations for comfort and facilities. It is beautifully furnished and equipped and feels like a real home. Value for money is exceptional and location excellent but there are a few caveats I would add. The stairs are very steep with narrow treads which could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues - I slept on the sofa downstairs for this reason and I also could not locate a light switch for the upper landing light at ground floor level. The off road parking is a boon but would not accommodate a large car - my small SUV was no problem. Also a bit of a problem with the very sophisticated CH controls which could be a problem for stays in colder weather. These are the only problems otherwise it exceeded my expectations

We have stayed here a few times before and love everything about it but this time noticed a few issues that need addressing. The bolt on the back gate doesn't work properly, there are nails sticking out of some rotton decking in front of the little out house and a damp problem in the kitchen. Security is paramount for our dogs.

Fantastic first time staying in Sheringham the cottage was much bigger than we expected and provided plenty of room for our 2 dogs in the kitchen seating area. The lounge was very comfortable with the added bonus of the gas fire and the dinning area was great for romantic evening meal after a long walk to Cromer and back along the coastal path. The benefit of a parking space in front of the property was ideal.

Clean, comfortable and well equiped cottage in a good central location. Layout of kitchen/breakfast room a bit odd; needs a table and seating to make the best of the garden view. Centre dining room more suitable for evening dinner parties, perhaps. Hive controlled central heating very fiddly; never did find out how to sort it out; consequently house quite cold when we returned after being out all day and then took a while to warm up. Just as well the weather was fairly mild.

We had a lovely holiday in Sheringham, the cottage is in a great position for both the sea front, the town and places to eat. We especially like the Whelk Coppers Tearoom both for it’s location and the food, and the Two Lifeboats provided hearty pub grub and welcomed our dog, everywhere was very busy the week we stayed so I would advise booking ahead.
The cottage was clean comfortable and well equipped, although the dishwasher would have been of more use if there were more mugs(only 5), and the kettle leaked so we learned it was best to pour over the sink. These are only very minor points and easy to rectify to make the stay even more comfortable.
I’m sure we will visit Norfolk again, a beautiful part of the country to explore.

We was certainly impressed with Beverley Cottage, the cleanliness on our arrival and also the way we was kept in touch with by Keys cottages, the only thing I would say is if a book was left by the owners as how things work within the property, until I contacted my son we didn't know how to operate the heating system, the nest control, which we hadn't seen before was alien to us but thankfully my son,who is in the plumbing business, told us how it all worked and the problem was solved, apart from that it was most enjoyable and we would certainly use the cottage again if available,the added bonus was to be able to park on the drive of the property.

We really loved the cottage and have perhaps found it to be the best accommodation we have stayed in over 30 years of coming to Sheringham. We had plenty of room in a well appointed cottage which benefits from high quality furnishing, not to mention a downstairs loo and useful utility space as well.

The garden may be small but it's great to sit out on the terrace and smell the blossom. We even benefitted from a modest harvest of blackberries.

Only small bugbears...

The bin hadn't been emptied for weeks, was full, stinky and had maggots crawling up the inside. We put it out to be emptied then had to swill it out with hot water and anti bac to get it smelling vaguely normally. I think the problem is that people don't want to move their cars on a Sunday night to get the wheelie bin out so leave it for someone else to sort.

There was a bit of a musty smell in the sitting room that could have been the wall or from the sofa covers needing a wash.

I wasn't sure if the dryer was working properly. We don't have a condenser, and they may be slower, but even emptying the cassette didn't seem to speed up the process much. The dishwasher seemed to struggle a bit too, though it may work better with rinser which we didn't have. Might depend on the local water.

A nice place to stay. You can walk to the all of the shops in around 20 mins. would recommend going to bodham the red hart for an evening meal or just for drinks. the walk from the property along the cliffs to the beston bump and Cromer is also well worth doing. the two life boats on the sea front is also worth a visit. the two bad points which are easy to remedy are finding someone else's stuff in the fridge when we arrived and the outside table not being cleaned apart form this would recommend the property to friends and family

Stayed at Beverly Cottage for a week, it is a beautiful cottage, very clean, spacious, beautiful furniture it has everything you would need for your stay, It is in an excellent position, quiet. The only thing I think could do with an upgrade is the bathroom it is looking a bit tired, but it did not spoil our stay.

House is in a good position but if you have a bigger car then you'll find the parking space is too small as it will overhang the pavement!
House is nicely furnished but the cooker was grubby (didn't use it) and the fridge was also dirty but nothing that anti viral wipes couldn't solve!
House was very well equipped - even had a laundry room with another fridge/freezer (that badly needed cleaning!)
Also noted that Keys have a pleasant and helpful staff.

Beverly Cottage is a lovely spacious house with a beautiful garden.

We enjoyed our stay and would certainly look to book again. Everything in the house just worked, and unlike many holiday let’s the kitchen was well stocked with pans and crockery.

The addition of off-road parking is particularly useful as Sheringham isn’t the easiest place to find a free parking spot.
