Cottage was well equipped and was clean and comfortable. The setting is amazing with great views from the cottage and lots to see and do locally. The hot tub was also a welcome bonus after a long day exploring!
This is our second stay at Heron View and I am sure we will be back again in future. Very good facilities - great bike shed which we always use. Very comfortable house in a great location.
Wonderful spot to explore wildlife in the area - red kites, hares and partridge a plenty from the windows and red squirrels within walking distance. A spacious house with all you needed. Good showers, comfy sofa, safe good sized garden for the dog. We enjoyed visiting Kircudbright town, walking along the river and in Barrhill woods locally and Threave nature reserve a little further. Beaches dog friendly and quiet. A lovely part of the world.
