This studio has been updated since my last few visits. I was a fan on the cabin bed and the large tv. I will admit the sofa is better and the layout better for access. The shower is amazing outdoor space magic fir st Ives. You won’t be disappointed!
We had a beautiful week, of hot sunshine, superb accommodation, fantastic restaurants, lovely walks. Overall a throughly lovely stay in the best part of the British Isles. Thank you Cornwall for never disappointing. We are already looking up for our next time to stay in one of your beautiful places. Xxx
We have stayed st 15 3 times and it is always the best accommodation available. It is safe, has secure parking and the apartment is well equipped.
House layout is first rate. Relaxing in the evening with food and drinks so spacious.Plus the outside decking and views are excellent.
We booked West Coast House through Cherished Cottages and from the start to the end it was the perfect break. The team couldn't have been more helpful with booking and during our stay, and the house was the perfect holiday home. A stone's throw from the beach and minutes from the town centre, it was the perfect location for our family holiday. And the view of the sunset from the bedroom windows was stunning! Would highly recommend both West Coast House and Cherished Cottages!
8 Hicks Court is a great cottage close to the sea and the town, the furnishings are lovely, chosen with care and pretty stylish! Cherished Cottages (Christine) has always been so helpful with the booking process; I highly recommend both the company and the cottage.
Back for a 3rd stay and loved it just as much, Couldn’t ask for a better location 2 minute walk to shops and restaurants 5 minutes from the beach. This house has a great feel about it can’t wait to come back next year. Love the treats and flowers on arrival nice touch, Thanks for the stay to all the staff.
Our second stay at Driftshore cottage and won’t be our last as we have booked for 2026. The location is excellent, just 2 minutes from two beaches and the town centre for restaurants/shops but just off the main routes so there is less noise than some places we have stayed. In the living room, it is easy to relax after a busy day and the kitchen has all you need, if the walk to Fore street is too hard (wet) and you want to stay indoors.
This is a truly amazing house to stay in for your holiday, the location and views are second to none The bedrooms are spacious with luxurious bedding, en suites and bathrooms are of an exceptionally high standard The first floor kitchen, dining room and lounge area make the most of the stunning views, as do the decking areas Plenty of outside space to store paddle boards, surf boards, belly boards and wet suits together with an outside shower too We enjoyed every minute of our stay and didn't want to leave
Lovely welcome pack with produce and fresh flowers on arrival. Amazing location. It rained all week but you can just sit and gaze at surfers and sea in the comfort of apartment in the dry. Very comfy bed. Shower a bit tricky as it was inclined to overflow. Tastefully decorated and would return for another stay. Many thanks.
Where to begin, a week’s stay at Seaside House was amazing from start to finish and exceeded our expectations. The property itself is stunning. Beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and so spacious. A fabulous view each morning from the master bedroom. The beds are so so comfortable. High quality fixtures and fittings makes any self catering stay here a joy. We had a lovely weeks holiday at Crab Rock-on arrival the property was cleaned to a high standard, a very modern apartment and the welcome bag of goodies was a lovely touch-the views of the harbour were just stunning, even on the rainy days it was lovely to sit and relax and watch the world go by. Loved the bi-fold doors on a sunny day and to sit on the balcony was just lovely. The bed was very comfy and had the best nights sleep. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. We have stayed in about 40 holiday homes over the years. All have been 5 star rated but none have compared to Harbour Lights. Spread over 3 floors it offers everything you would need from a perfect holiday home - cleanliness, comfort, privacy, peace, space and then you have a view that will stay in your mind forever. From the balcony you look down on to St Ives bay and harbour. Sitting out there with a cold drink, watching the boats and yachts coming and going is paradise. Another quality property from Cherished. Superb location with stunning views from lounge and master bedroom which never failed to make me smile. Lovely balcony overlooking beach and another overlooking the town. No parking but can use Barnaloft for dropping off luggage. We arranged private parking which saves any uncertainty of finding a space. Ideally situated for restaurants, shops and walks. Only negative is poor lighting for reading but I would not hesitate in returning.
Excellent property, very well decorated and furnished and located in a perfect spot. Having a reserved car parking spot is a boon. I can’t recommend this property enough.
A fabulous spacious apartment with garden, ideal for our family and dogs. Apartment was very clean and smelt lovely when we arrived. Great location right next to Porthmeor beach and 2 mins from Porthgwidden beach. Close to shops, bars and cafes. The parking space is very tight but worth it to stay here. Mattresses and pillows a little uncomfortable and might need to be reviewed. We had an amazing week and would definitely come back.
The whole family enjoy the house, it’s close to the beaches and the town. You are so close to all the towns facilities but also in a quiet part of the town with great views over the town and harbour.
Another great holiday at the oldbakehouse. Great location. Decent size fridge freezer. Comfy sofas and bed. Step outside the front door and you’re 2 mins away from everything. Cherished cottage team can’t do enough to make your stay perfect
Westholme is a wonderful house in a great location. Just a couple of minutes walk down the hill to Porthmeor Beach. The house had everything we needed and is beautifully decorated. The living room upstairs was my favourite, with fabulous views of the sea. We loved this house so much that we have already booked for next year
Just right for the two of us, in a great position for an early morning swim at Porthgwidden and a very short walk back for a lovely hot shower! Well equipped and cosy little cottage with high spec equipment and everything we needed when cooking for ourselves. We slept really well in the comfy king sized bed. Loved walking the coast paths with such stunning scenery and we never tire of the little streets and all that St Ives has to offer. We enjoyed the welcome gifts and thank you for your friendly & helpful customer service.
My friend and I have stayed several years, it suits friends not just couples/families, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. As the stars state above it is perfect in every way.
Great house nicely maintained. Amazing views. Comfy beds. Fully equipped for holiday. Quick Access to town and beaches down steep steps Useful outside shower. Handy parking space Nice garden seating across 3 areas (Would like to be able to open main bedroom window)
This was our second stay at Rosevale Villa and it was lovely to see that it was just as lovely and clean as before. It provides a home from home, and is well equipped and very comfortable. The lounge furniture has been updated recently . Our two dogs particularly loved the wrap around garden, quite unique in St Ives being so near to the shops and beaches. The welcome goodies were lovely and the dogs loved their treats too.
The Lobster Residence is a comfortable cottage in a good location with 3 beaches all within a 5 minute walk. The cottage was well equipped and neat and tidy. Would definitely book again.
We arrived to find our property hadn’t been cleaned which spoilt our arrival … however Christine from cherished sorted the problem promptly . The property could do with a fresh lick of paint and the shower could do with an upgrade the bath is a lovely feature but both times we have stayed the hot water that feeds the bath hasn’t been hot enough so sadly we haven’t been able to take advantage of this feature .
A return visit to 4 Island Road, and the cottage was fully up to the usual exceptional standards. We have been visiting St Ives for eleven years now and have used Cherished for most of those visits. They are a friendly, helpful and efficient company that we can recommend without reservation.
