McHugh Cottage is a lovely old building set in a beautiful quiet location and surrounded by ancient woodland. It's dog friendly with walks in the woodland from the door. It was clean and comfortable and had been freshly painted. The modern electric heating is very efficient and controllable and made for a cosy environment. The cottage is slightly let down by the condition of the kitchen which needs refurbished (this is planned but there is a shortage of contractors) however it has all the modern appliances needed. I would definitely stay there again.
