Heatheryhaugh lodges are a hidden gem in the countryside, but just a couple of minutes, by car, from the centre of Moffat. We stayed for a week in lodge 4 which was clean, comfortable and spacious. We found that while there wasn't an overabundance of kitchen crockery, etc there was everything needed. The only thing missing was a dishwasher and really we managed fine without one. The grounds are lovely, with the only sounds being the bird song and the shallow river. We were very lucky to have a week of glorious sunshine and enjoyed sitting outside every day on the comfortable garden furniture....more
We certainly didn't expect how good this accommodation was. The photographs of the interior don't show how large this bungalow is and the quality of the interior.. Very good value for money, extremely reasonable compared to other accommodation in the vicinity. Well equipped kitchen, I always take on or two of my own kitchen utensils with me, just in case they are missing in the accommodation, I certainly didn't require them. Thank you for our excellent stay
