First time stay at Cambridgeshire Lakes did not disappoint. The lodge was well equipped, so much so we did not leave for the 4 days we were there. Peaceful and tranquil, luck was on our side with the weather. Wildlife- daily visits from the kingfisher, Little Grebes and American Coots made our stay a privilege. We have rebooked for next year, already counting down... cannot wait.
our second time staying at Cambridgeshire Lakes and probably won’t be our last. We opted to stay in St John’s Lodge again and were not disappointed. The accommodation and facilities were as expected and excellent. I would definitely recommend these lodges, you won’t be disappointed!
My wife and I have stayed in a lot of lodges in the UK , this is by far the best we have been in , from the moment you open the door to the lodge the luxury is out standing, everything you possible want is there. If you are looking for a peaceful break, you won't go wrong here. 0
Just returned from another amazing stay at Cambridgeshire Lakes. I’d love to keep this place a secret, but feel it’s only fair to share, so others can experience as well. What’s there not to like! Beautiful location, waking up to the lake with the ducks each morning, the lodges cater for your every need, with the added bonus of the lovely hot tub! We call this our chill out week of the year, and we all need one of those! There’s plenty of places to visit by car. Local coffee shop, garden centre and farm shop (with a brilliant cafe with added bonus of outside animal's if you have little one...more
