The cottage has everything that a disabled person would require for a perfect stay. The owners provide us with a profile bed for the disabled person plus a hoist which if we hadn’t had we would have struggled. We have the perfect bathroom which has a wheel in shower. They even provide the shower chair. The location is also perfect. The owners also provide lots of information on suitable locations for wheelchair user to visit. During the heatwave of June 2026 there was nowhere we would rather have been than in the cooler climes of beautiful lush Bishopdale. And it was wonderful to be immersed in Nature every day. We revisited all our favourite places and the garden is a paradise in itself. Andrew and Diane are very kind, helpful thoughtful hosts. It is such a pleasure to stay somewhere privately owned where the owners really do care about their guests.
