Montagu Cottage is a fantastic base for a holiday. The accommodation itself is both incredibly stylish and very comfortable. A lovely colour scheme throughout which is very restful, but also full of flair. High ceiling and large windows mean the light floods in to the main living area. It is very well equipped with everything you'd need in the kitchen. Great night's sleep in the peaceful setting with generous and comfortable bedding. The apartment was beautifully furnished and spacious. Assistance from the estate team prior to our state was excellent. Booked fly fishing package with Derek which was excellent
Lovely house with quality fixtures and fittings. All bedrooms have tvs and have very comfortable beds and good linens. Everything you need in kitchen available plus BBQ Fabulous hot tub but best of all is the privacy and the stunning views that surround the house. Would highly recommend
Laundry Cottage is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable with lavish furnishings. We enjoyed the welcome pack of coffee, chocolate, chutney, sloe gin & Turkish delight - what a treat?! The location on the Drumlanrig Estate is stunning with lots of walking in all directions. We appreciated the fully enclosed garden for keeping our dog in & it was large enough to throw a ball for him. All the staff we encountered were so helpful & cheerful. Thank you Gillian & the team
Its was a pleasure to come and stay in the accommodation at Drumlanrig Estate, Mains Cottage, the facilities are simply excellent and staff working there are so helpful, looking forward to coming back soon, always a first choice for us.
This was our third holiday at Drumlanrig in this fabulous setting for walking, fishing and enjoying the views. The cottage was very well equipped, comfortable and clean, excellent for taking our two dogs and very relaxing. The estate team staff are very helpful, friendly and do everything to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Will definitely return again.

The Stableyard Studio was just perfect - comfortable, clean, equipped with everything you could need, and fitted out to a very high standard. Being on the grounds of such an incredible castle and estate made it very special too.
