We recently stayed in Glen Glack in the larch cabin which comfortably accommodated 4 adults and our dog. We loved everything about the cabin from its location on the banks of a loch with woodland trails all around to its excellent facilities internally. The bedrooms were warm and comfortable. The kitchen/sitting room was spacious and well equipped with a beautiful wood burning stove. The cabin was sparkling clean and well equipped had a lovely welcome gift upon arrival. The cabin is located on the outskirts of Dunkeld, a picturesque town with many restaurants , shops and attractions all of whi...more
Only criticism was couldn’t figure out heating. Didn’t come onto later. Heater in lounge wasn’t that warm. Upstairs got a bit hot as heat rises. Otherwise excellent stay would stay there again
We booked Blairinraish West to visit Scotland for a family wedding. It did not disappoint and was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable with high-quality amenities to self-cater. All the little touches in how each room was decorated for flair and for function did not go unnoticed. We received useful communication in advance of our stay to help us reach the destination and whenever we called housekeeping with queries, she was really helpful. Such a lovely place that we wouldn't mind living there all the time. The only downside for us is that we are used to warmer climate and central heat...more
Everything was superb. The view was amazing and relaxing. The house had everything you could need. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay again if we’re in the area!
We loved the layout of the property and the furnishings. The location so close to bustling Dunkeld yet amid a quiet forest was perfect . House well equipped and very comfortable beds. We enjoyed the walks and the information provided was very helpful We would love to return Thanks !
We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed it very much. The surroundings are amazing and we could have stayed for more days if we could. You have everything you need, and the quality is very good. 10/10 recommend!
Any chance of a larger double bed in the main bedroom ? Perfect for our needs. Why do I need to submit 100 characters ?!!
My friend and I enjoyed a perfect three nights in Hazel Lodge. We lit the fire and watched films, we set out the rugs and blankets with hot water bottles on the sitooterie and enjoyed coffee, cake, cheeses and wines bought in the village while watching the beautiful vista. Great walks or rides and I love Dunkeld in every way. Well stocked, great space. My only tiny bits of advice. 1- there IS a mirror in the bedroom but it's behind the door! 2- don't be an idiot like me and forget your plug for charging cable as the sockets in the kitchen only have a USB C TYPE fitting! #sob
Everything was perfect for our stay: quiet and peaceful, an excellent walking base, warm and cosy with amazing views. We shall definitely book again.
We had a marvellous stay at this special place. The remote location provides a unique and peaceful retreat. We had a fantastic stay and look forward to returning.
We had a wonderful stay at Marble Lodge. The lodge is in a magical setting and was comfortable and clean. We look forward to returning soon!
We are a family of four and travelled the NC500 in two weeks time. And have made 7 stops on the way. This final stop was the winner! It has been our home away from home. The colors, materials, the space, the view and location are all the best. Highly recommend.
Very relaxing stay in excellent accommodation, and a beautiful area. The log fire was a great hit as we had snow. Will definitely visit again.
We were so impressed by the location and the view. The hut is really well designed and tastefully decorated. The neighbouring hut is nearby but positioned thoughtfully so as not to be intrusive nor particularly visible. Outdoor furniture was great to relax on (but we couldn’t find the hammock which I was looking forward to lying on… perhaps it was broken?). Thanks for a lovely stay - I would book again.
Our 15th (?) year of our two families getting together in Easter holidays for long walks, cycles, games, and family meals. As the kids have got older they have dipped in and out depending on university, other holidays, work commitments etc. but everyone is clear they want to keep coming back to this beautiful old house with family connections from the 1950's. One of the main charms of Old Blair is how comfortable and relaxed it is. It is in lovely condition but not so smart that it lacks character. It is our special home when we visit
We stayed in the Juniper lodge for a couple of nights and had a fantastic time. The lodge is real luxury and is situated in such a quiet and peaceful location. There was a plentiful supply of logs for the wood burner in the lodge and the wood fired bath and everything was really clean and tidy. We had an issue on the first night where the chimney on the outdoor bath was broken but the staff were really helpful and came first thing in the morning to fix it. It was certainly worth the wait as the bath is totally luxurious. An amazing way to watch the sun go down. Overall, I couldn’t fault...more
