We have just returned from 2 nights in Larch Cabin and it was perfect. The cabins are beautifully designed, clean & well equipped. The surroundings are peaceful & stunning, yet just 5 mins drive or 25 mins walk from Dunkeld. It's rare to find accommodation that feels remote, yet is in walking distance to such a beautiful town. There are so many walks & wild swimming spots from the cabin and it is perfect for dogs too. We will definitely be back to stay here and explore more of this beautiful area.
One of the nicest properties we’ve stayed in. Super comfortable, very warm (we had a fair amount of snow over the weekend) and the log burner made it so homely. Peaceful surroundings with lots of birdsong and very dark skies at night so the stars were stunning Response to emails was almost instant which was so reassuring. We had a relaxing stay and love the area and the cottage.
We loved the cottage. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable and tastefully furnished. The lane up to it is rather long and bumpy but when you arrive you realise it is worth it as you are rewarded with a sensational view.
The cottage was lovely and we have booked again to stay next year. The only negative was that the electric car charger wasn't working. We did contact the estates office about this during our stay, but no one replied. The charger was one of the reasons we booked the property. Luckily there is a charger in the nearest village, but obviously this meant we had to pay for charging. I was disappointed that no one replied to us about the issue, even if it was just to acknowledge the problem. As mentioned we loved the cottage and it's location and we have booked again to stay there next year. One mi...more
Beautiful, comfortable and practical accommodation. We were there over new year and it was snowing but the hut was very warm. Spotlessly clean, bed is very comfortable, and the kitchen is very well equipped. The two huts are cleverly positioned with fences, so no privacy issues. Really enjoyed the design too, they look great. Worth noting there is no wifi or tv, so bring books or boardgames for the evenings. Also some of the roads to the huts are bumpy and rocky, so be careful with smaller cars. Had a great time and would highly recommend.
Just back from the most relaxing stay at Glen Glack Cabins and honestly didn’t want to leave. I stayed in the Rowan cabin, tucked away beside Cally Loch, and it was the perfect mix of luxury and peace surrounded by nature. Waking up to the views over the loch, sitting by the fire after long walks, and completely switching off from everything was exactly what I needed. The cabin itself was beautifully designed, cosy but modern, and had everything you could want for a quiet getaway in the Highlands. One of my favourite things was how peaceful it felt — just forests, wildlife, fresh air and...more
We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was great, and everything we needed was provided. We’d happily stay again and highly recommend it.
We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay in the Hazel Glen Glack cabin. The cabin itself was perfect — clean, spacious, beautifully presented, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, but the real highlight for us was the lovely deck overlooking the beautiful little loch. We loved walking around the loch and did so three times during our visit, spotting both a pine marten and a red squirrel along the way. The location was also ideal for exploring the beautiful towns of Dunkeld and Pitlochry, as well as Blair Castle, which absolutely blew us...more
We enjoyed our stay so much I’m looking to book again in the autumn The annex is well located with easy access to the A9 great walks both long and shorter straight from the door Staff responded well to our request Overall a clean well presented roomy cottage
Steph kindly squeezed my son and I in at very short notice, and we stayed in the truly beautiful farmhouse enjoying the local woods and wildlife for a few days. We’ll definitely be back soon! The perfect getaway.
Such a wonderful place to stay, very comfortable and well equipped and a great place to stay - a geologists' dream, right next to famous rocks visited by James Hutton in 1785 - and he stayed in Forest Lodge too, although I believe the furniture and fittings have been updated since then :)
The Willow cabin at Glen Glack was an oasis in the woods for us as we traveled in Scotland. Peaceful setting, fully equipped home gave us a chance to rest up on a busy trip. Close to the cute village of Dunkeld with excellent food and beverage, the Glan Glack cabins are a great choice for travelers.
We had the most wonderful time staying at this beautiful cottage. My husband , dog Nellie and I booked East, while my daughter and son in law booked West , the cottage next door. Both cottages ( we were in and out of each other’s) are thoughtfully decorated and have a warm and cosy feel to them. The kitchen is well equipped and spotless, as are the bathrooms. The bed was very comfortable too. The location is both spectacular and peaceful, with views across the valley . It snowed while we were there making our stay even more special. There are walks around the cottages and it was a treat t...more
My husband and I had a wonderful weekend in Curlew lodge with our Border Collie Leia. The Shepherd’s hut is beautiful and so well equipped, the bed is comfortable and the bathroom facilities are great. The views are great and the hut is well located to explore Dunkeld, Pitlochry and beyond. Thoroughly recommend for a dog friendly weekend escape.
Old Blair Lodge was perfect for a week with dear friends. We hiked, biked, visited the area, enjoyed the castle and beautiful gardens. Estate staff were super organized and responsive. Could not have asked for a more perfect stay!
Beautiful cottage in picturesque setting ! Unfortunately no reply to my email regarding level of basic amenities in cottage was initially disappointing but cottage was well equipped. One bathroom is challenging for four but not a deal breaker. Pet peeve of mine is the quality of frying pans - all food stuck to the bottom despite oil. As I said, trivial stuff but still….
A perfect stay. The cabin is clean, very comfortable and very well equipped. Everything you need and do nicely done. This is our second stay and we will forward to coming again.
Marble lodge Blair Atholl met all our expectations. The first view of the lodge from the track was stunning. The lodge itself had all the amenities you would expect, comfortable and clean. The garden is well fenced in for dogs. The estate workers we met were polite and knowledgeable. A great experience from arriving to departure. We are booking again for 2027. Thank you. Simon and Nikki North Norfolk.
The house was perfect for our needs, everything you could possibly need for a 5 night stay, nobody wanted to come home!l
