Beautiful and perfectly equipped house, gorgeous and quiet surrounding. The fireplace, the terrace and the whole interior are wonderful. We also enjoyed the visit at Blair Castle included in the stay.
One of the nicest properties we’ve stayed in. Super comfortable, very warm (we had a fair amount of snow over the weekend) and the log burner made it so homely. Peaceful surroundings with lots of birdsong and very dark skies at night so the stars were stunning Response to emails was almost instant which was so reassuring. We had a relaxing stay and love the area and the cottage.
The views? Stunning The location? Picturesque, out in the open yet close enough to everything you’d need The welcome? More than good, with Yvonne being a warm, attentive and accommodating host The cottage? Very beautiful, spacious and with a very homely feel The cleanliness? Spot on! I honestly believe that this will not be the last time we will stay at Blairinraish
Just back from the most relaxing stay at Glen Glack Cabins and honestly didn’t want to leave. I stayed in the Rowan cabin, tucked away beside Cally Loch, and it was the perfect mix of luxury and peace surrounded by nature. Waking up to the views over the loch, sitting by the fire after long walks, and completely switching off from everything was exactly what I needed. The cabin itself was beautifully designed, cosy but modern, and had everything you could want for a quiet getaway in the Highlands. One of my favourite things was how peaceful it felt — just forests, wildlife, fresh air and...more
We had a lovely, relaxing few days in a very peaceful location. Lapwing is very compact but beautifully appointed.
Fantastic location in total peace, but not far from town if required. Access to amazing countryside and variety of walks for the dogs. The cabin was beautiful, clean, comfortable and lovely decor. Seating area overlooking the loch was perfect for enjoying the morning sun!! Although other cabins relatively nearby the trees and natural surroundings in between maintain high levels of privacy. Overall absolutely perfect for what we wanted with young child and 2 dogs. Will definitely be back again
We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was great, and everything we needed was provided. We’d happily stay again and highly recommend it.
We truly enjoyed our stay at Charlottefield and would definitely stay here again. The location is unmatched— quiet, private, and remote but an easy drive into Pitlochry for plenty of good dining and shopping. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-appointed, and everything was immaculately clean upon arrival. The weather was quite warm and as we are Americans accustomed to AC, I do wish there had been a fan in the bedrooms to help air circulate. I’d also suggest a mix of pillows on the beds to accommodate different preferences in firmness. Finally, I recommend updating the couch and ...more
We enjoyed our stay in the annex. Great equipment in the kitchen and laundry. The place is wonderful. The nearby cottages were empty so we had the whole place to ourselves. Hope to come back some day.
Steph kindly squeezed my son and I in at very short notice, and we stayed in the truly beautiful farmhouse enjoying the local woods and wildlife for a few days. We’ll definitely be back soon! The perfect getaway.
Such a wonderful place to stay, very comfortable and well equipped and a great place to stay - a geologists' dream, right next to famous rocks visited by James Hutton in 1785 - and he stayed in Forest Lodge too, although I believe the furniture and fittings have been updated since then :)
We recently spent 3 wonderfully peaceful nights at Glen Glack. Having stayed before in a shepherd hut we knew the level of service and facilities to expect from cleanliness to the highland soap company products and the little extras. What we were not expecting was the view and the privacy . Throughly enjoyed our time and hope to be back soon.
My husband and I had a wonderful weekend in Curlew lodge with our Border Collie Leia. The Shepherd’s hut is beautiful and so well equipped, the bed is comfortable and the bathroom facilities are great. The views are great and the hut is well located to explore Dunkeld, Pitlochry and beyond. Thoroughly recommend for a dog friendly weekend escape.
We found a place where we could get together as a family (from London, Maastricht & Quedlinburg) and really unwind after busy weeks at work. We thoroughly enjoyed spending our holidays in these wonderful surroundings. The holiday cottage had everything we needed – both in terms of location and facilities. There was plenty of space for us to get together, yet everyone had their own space to retreat to. The furnishings were comfortable, practical and full of character. The view from the kitchen was the highlight for us. Sometimes it was enough simply to watch the changing weather and the anima...more
This stay worked out well for our large family. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts responded quickly and we were very pleased with our stay. What a wonderful experience.
My wife and I stayed in Juniper for 7 nights and I cannot really think of anything to say which is less than positive! It is expensive, but we feel it is well worth it as the location, and the style of the cabin suited us perfectly. It's definitely a 'luxury' cabin and you can feel very comfortable when you are not out walking the amazing landscapes right at the doorstep. Indoor wood burner and functional if small kitchen make it easy to stay for a few days without leaving if you don't want to. And we loved the outdoor, wood-fired tub. Chilling there surrounded by forest is quite the experienc...more
Very quiet place with an amazing view. A place for the soul. You can go hiking and watching sticks and other animals. You are lonely with yourself
We love the location but found the sofa very uncomfortable. The bed was excellent but we feel that there would not be enough seating for four adults in the lounge. TV reception not great. There was evidence of dog hairs on carpet and furniture. The soft furnishings in the kitchen weee grubby.
We had a wonderful stay at Kindrochet as my extended family of 14 traveled from Canada for a funeral service in the area. There was absolutely more than enough room, so much you could lose someone! A lot of fun for the kids.
