Absolutely superb short break away in this little piece of haven. Accommodation, furnishings and decor were perfect and well thought through. There was everything there we needed. Due to a slight issue we had on our journey up, the staff were so accommodating and helpful letting us attend the property slightly earlier which we were so grateful for. Very peaceful night sleeps with the very comfortable beds. Hot tub was perfect and the games room just made it so much more of holiday for us parents as our children were amused for the whole stay. Five of us stayed 4 weekday nights. The Worstead Estate is picturesque and interesting. House is Georgian, beautifully restored and spacious. Good set of useful amenities, inside and out. The lawned walled garden was special for us as baby and dog were safely enclosed and it was very relaxing for playing, eating and hot tub. Countryside, coast and charming villages all close by. Would have liked to have stayed longer.
We had a wonderful stay at New Lane cottage. The cottage was charming. A great location for nearby attractions. The train and potato factory noises didn't both us. The cottage was clean and cosy. The lady who checked the hot tub everyday was lovely and polite. Although seems excessive to check twice a day. Would definetly recommend and we would book again.
