The Shorehouse has been my favorite stay to date. The house is very clean with modern amenities and cozy Scotland charm. There are several restaurants in town and we aren’t too far from Portree which was a cute place to wander and shop. I appreciated that there was a stocked laundry room, and coffee on hand ☺️ Reading my book with a glass of wine on the back porch was sublime - what a gorgeous landscape to look out on!! While here we visited the Fairy Pools which were beautiful, I wish it had been warm enough for a dip! We also hiked An Stòrr (the Old Man Storr). Storr was quite a challenging ...more
Our family enjoyed a fabulous (and too short) 2 night stay in June. Everything about the house was perfect. We were so happy to have the washer. The beds were so comfortable. The location couldn’t be beat. We enjoyed a take-away dinner on the table outside.
It was perfect, a very nice view, wonderful area, very friendly people. Skye has a lot to offer . Thank you for this incredible time we had
Room = Small compartment but well and neatly placed. Shared bathroom = Clean, spacious, with hot shower Kitchen = Fully equipped utensils, spacious. Dining room = Large wooden table with outside viewing. Lounge = Comfortable placed Location = Beautiful view of the seaside, 2 minutes drive to supermarkets. *note: stringent rubbish policy needs handle with care.
