This is our second trip to Somerset Soul and once again we were very pleased with the house and pool. It is a beautiful location and the attention to detail in the hosue itself is wonderful. Also our Host Natalie is an added bonus as she is both professional and extremely helpful.
We loved our Courtyard Cottage. The views, attractive koi carp pond with seating area for evening aperitifs. Lovely to visit the farm animals & walks around the estate. Ideal base for local attractions. Natalie was very helpful & made us feel very welcome. The cottage was spacious, modern & well equiped. A perfect place for an enjoyable family vacation. We will definitely recommend to family & friends.
I often visit Upper Vobster Farm whenever I’m visiting the UK from Sydney. It is a beautiful, surreal place to visit, there’s abundance of greenery and also some of the farm animals are great for the kids to enjoy too. The rooms are absolutely pristine, with an added loving touch and attention to detail is exemplary. Whenever I’m here I feel at home. The staff are friendly and helpful and Natalie in particular always willing to go that extra mile. Highly recommend visiting this place.
So welcomed by our host/manager Natalie. Loved the room with the sun shining in on a cold autumn afternoon. A beautiful clear space with stunning views of the countryside Everything you needed in our kitchen. Hot showers . Warm towel rails. A robe was a beautiful touch. Meeting other guests. Exploring the farm. Finding beautiful places to sit and enjoy the landscape and all the farm animals like chickens, sheep, ducks, geese, dogs. We had the most wonderful and relaxing stay at this Farm. Natalie and the team are super friendly and we’re always happy to make our stay comfortable and special. Our accommodation - Dovecote - was very clean with high quality kitchen appliances and utensils and an incredibly comfortable king size bed. The grandchildren had the best time feeding the ducks, chickens and sheep and collecting eggs with the help of Natalie. We would most definitely return to this wonderful farm which is set in a peaceful and beautiful area. We would like to say a special thank you to Natalie.
We have stayed with friends regularly at the beautiful Upper Vobster Farm, near Babington House. So, if you are a Soho House member, it’s an ideal place to stay so you can visit Babs as it’s literally 3mins drive away! As always, the self contained rooms here are a joy to stay in. The Dairy is a particular favourite. Beautifully decorated, super clean & everything has been thought about. The bed is really comfy! Once again, a wonderful time was had. Thank you to all the team here. We will be back (again)!
From start to finish the service was exceptional! Everyone we met were the nicest people and so helpful. The cottage was beautiful, clean, cosy! The grounds were stunning and it felt quite spiritual. My grandchild absolutely loved feeding the animals and was very patiently instructed by Natalie, who looked after us so well. The whole experience at Upper Vobster Farm was a great one. Would definitely visit again.
We were looking for some much needed rejuvenation and time in nature. At upper vobster we got so much more, quaint cottages amazing staff and exquisite grounds. We’ll be back
