This was our 2nd visit to Northumberland Cottages at Breamish House this year. The views are just incredible and we just had to come back for another visit. The hosts Richard and Fiona are just so warm and welcoming, helpful and very knowledgable about the local areas. The Kennelman was equipped with everything you could need for your stay. The accommodation was exactly as described in the listing. Perfectly located; fabulously comfortable beds; amazing views; well equipped kitchen; pleasant decor and furnishings. And Richard was incredibly attentive and helpful. Highly recommended!!
We stayed at The Kennelman as a group of 6, with a dog. Such a lovely little hideaway, perfect for a country break, with nice walks around and not far from bigger towns/villages. The pub/cafe is just a walk up the drive and perfect for food/cake too. Richard & Fiona think of everything for you, including a little welcome pack with local produce and offering to put away a food delivery for you, which helps with not needing to fill your car up as much. We were welcomed by owner Richard who was an excellent host, providing us with local information. The cottage was ideal for 2 people, very well equipped with absolutely stunning views in all directions. Great pub & cafe within walking distance. Location was great for visiting places like Alnwick & Bamburgh.
