We had a wonderful week in Jane's immaculate and beautiful cottage in Mannin, Connemara. The cottage was spacious and decorated to a very high standard. The kitchen had everything we needed and all the equipment was in perfect condition (we loved the Nick Moss pottery!) The bedrooms are well appointed and very comfortable indeed! Thank you to Jane for a very warm welcome and we would highly recommend this stunning cottage to friends and family in our favourite part of the world!
This house is ideally located for touring Achill Island and Connemara. The views from the house are truly spectacular. Parking is easy and plentiful. Inside the house is very comfortable and cosy and very well supplied with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It is an easy stroll to the village which has 2 good pubs for food plus a hotel and other facilities. Jim and Catherine were unobtrusive hosts but very friendly and helpful when needed. A five star experience all round!
We loved our stay. The cottage was large and had everything we needed. The location was very relaxing. We loved seeing the donkeys in the paddock. The housekeeper was lovely and very helpful. We would highly recommend.
My large family group- children, their spouses, my grandchildren spent a most enjoyable week at Omey view. On arriving at the House, we were pleasantly surprised by its spaciousness as well as the scenic views. Everything we could possibly need was provided and beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed daily swims in nearby beaches, crossing and picnicking on Omey island, a visit to Kylemore Abbey, walking in Connemara park etc. Great memories were made. Thank you Patti and David.

We had such a gorgeous week staying at Honeysuckle Cottage. The cottage was very comfortable for us and was equipped with everything we needed. The best part was the location, within a 5 min walk to a lovely little pier, very safe for swimming and an outdoor sauna, such a lovely treat! Also in walking distance of shops and two pubs for food and drinks. Noreen was such a helpful host. Highly recommend staying here ☺️
This place is a steal. Hosts are wonderful and accommodating (they live right around back). They were very gracious, and the cottage is large, views are incredible, and the place is very clean. It’s in an excellent location to explore northern Connemara, and it’s walkable to some incredible beaches. Try Paddy Coyne’s gastropub in nearby village of Tully Cross—some of the best food we had in Connemara.
The bothy is exactly how described. A very calm and beautiful small House. It is only a short walk to Cleggan and the Ferry to Inishbofin. It was clean and comfortable, we would come back and recommend Oliver‘s for an enjoyable evening and their very good seafood.
Great house with every possible convenience. Spotless cozy in a really great spot 10 mins from Westport quiet and just a lovely home. Restored my faith in Irish hospitality a wonderful stay with friends. I would highly recommend this home.

What a superb place for a large family gathering! Very comfortable and well equipped; loads of communal space; and very good sized en suite rooms to allow private time as well. Great views and access to superb beaches (superb even in February!) and great seafood. Very close to a good shop, pub and playground. Bernie is a very helpful and accessible owner.

The cottage and facillities were perfect, we stayed as a family of four, children aged 10 and 13. We loved the hot tub, sauna and cold plunge. Gerry was the perfect host, the eggs and chickens were great. We were even fortunate enough to watch him tend to his bees. There is loads to do within a short drive from the location and the countryside itself is stunning. Cant wait to go again!
We (a couple) stayed a week in Oyster House during August and were very comfortable. My first impression when we entered was of a light, spacious accommodation that was well insulated and cosy. The views at the front are lovely. We had all we needed at the cottage to self cater very happily. The property would however benefit from a few easy to do additions such as a coat rack near the door for hanging wet items and perhaps a shoe rack, and a more substantial door mat. The house was great and the location super. The views from the yard of Clew Bay and Croagh Patrick are amazing. Lots of day trips and walks within the area and Staunton’s pub just down the road is a gem! The house had everything we needed for a three week stay. It was a very comfortable home with plenty of room for the eight of us with a large dining table to seat us all. It was a great find and very happy we booked this rental.

We had an excellent stay in this apartment. It is bright, tastefully decorated, and incredibly well equipped, from the bedrooms and kitchen to the bathroom and even the TV. We were even able to connect our laptop to the TV for an online meeting. The apartment is ideally located, very quiet, and offers stunning views. An apartment at the back of the house, with view on the lovely garden and mountain. The beaches are nearby and there are a lot of beautifull places in the area. Marie has lots of tips and welcomed us with freshly made scones. The only noise was from the plumping. The beds are good. The kitchen is well equiped.
We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage and can’t recommend it highly enough. It was exceptionally well equipped, with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered, everything was in perfect working order, and the lovely welcome gift was a kind and much-appreciated touch. A beautiful setting although the weather is inevitably variable but didn’t stop us getting to the beach each day for digging and some swimming. The bedrooms work well for families with children and some for adult couples. The kitchen is small but well equipped with 2 dishwashers and the utility has washing machine and tumbler dryer - vital. The owner is very welcoming and friendly. Very relaxed

Our stay at Renvyle 196 Tooreena, was perfect. The location was exactly what we wanted. Quiet,a magical view and walking distance to the beach. The weather was perfect! John, the owner, was helpful in showing us how everything worked. The beach, the sunsets and the countless rainbows marked our stay as magical. Booking was seamless. Our whole experience was a great one to help make our dream come true. A month in Ireland-we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting as our base location.
Beautiful cottage in peaceful surroundings, with lots of charm and character. Good access to main roads, towns and beaches. Kitchen well equipped, beds super comfortable and a small lawn and benches to enjoy the birds and the wonderful views. We had a lovely holiday here. Great location and (most) basics covered well. The only thing missing was a microwave, which we hope the owners will be able to fix. A nice surprise was the good wifi, which wasn't clear upfront (not listed on Booking.com). Some of the interior is a bit tired (e.g. sofa and carpets upstairs) and could do with a refresh, but still ok. The owners are very friendly and supportive without being intrusive or overbearing. We cooked a fair bit ourselves and it was another nice surprise that electricity wasn't an extra cost in the end. All in all excellent value for money - we definitely recommend it.
The inside needs a lot of renovations there is mould growing on the walls in the downstairs main bedroom and also on the tiles the grout is a full of mould black mould. The shower in the ensuite bathroom is held together by duct tape and the shower in the main bathroom downstairs didn’t work. Lots of the radiators have been corroded and have metal flakes coming off them. Everything just needs updating.
Beautiful home, brilliant location. Very quiet place and lots of privacy. The home is equipped with everything needed for your stay. Connemara highlights are close by, so it was the ideal location for our stay!
The owner came just after our arrival and explained the organisation of the house very briefly, luckily one of the renters was able to get most things going for us . However the electric shower in one of the rooms didn’t work, and it took a bit of time to get the immersion to heat the water for showers! Apart from these things and the lack of utensils in the kitchen, scissors or sharp knife, for example, we had an excellent holiday, thank you.

The house is generously sized, comfortable and light, as well as being well-equipped. The surrounding mountains and seascapes are wonderful. We stayed 3 weeks and would happily have stayed more.
Absolute heaven! We will be back! The kitchen is fully equipped and there are plenty of towels & bed linen. A separate laundry room with washing machine dryer combo. Dishwasher and freezer in the kitchen. Cottage is larger that we thought and photos dont do it justice. Very clean. The sitting room is lovely with high ceiling, and stove fire. Very clean and modern shower room. There is a second smaller bathroom with a bath. No wifi but mobile phone data worked perfectly. Location is stunning, feels like you are on an island. We absolutely loved our stay in Chaoimhe Cottage. Unbelievable location. Great quick helpfulbresponse from Ann to our queries. Definitely the cleanest house we've ever rented!! I would just love a bigger front window to view the water while I knit!!!!!!! But joking aside it was fantastic. Easy drives from all the points of in in Connemara Hope to be back
I spent nearly a week staying in the cottage and it was just wonderful. This is my second time there so I knew exactly what I was heading back to. The lady who runs the cottage is very kind and if you have a problem will try to help you in any way she can. I rented the cottage on my own this time and I felt safe and secure at all times. It is so peaceful there, the beach is a stones throw away and the location couldn’t be any better. It’s a great location for touring around and just a few kilometres from Roundstone village. Highly recommend
We enjoyed staying in the cottage, located in a beautiful place close to mountains and the sea. The old cottage was enlarged with a kitchen and a serre from which you overlook the sea. It is a great basis for walks and for visiting places in Connemara . Although we didn't receive the code for the key box, it was fixed soon. Communication with the host was good.

As timeshare owners we appreciate the upgrade work that has taken place both within the property and to the approach avenue/roadway - no more pot holes is a great plus.. The cushions and dining chair fabric seats urgently need to be re-upholstered as they are frayed and shabby and let the dining area down, so hopefully this is on the list for the coming winter maintenance. We always bring rinse aid with us for the dishwasher and this is always, in our experience, in need of replenishing the machine also indicated that it needed salt so I hope someone keeps this under review. We had a wonderful week at the cottage, there power was off for a day due to work being done but the owners daughter was very helpful finding out why it was off and all was ok as we were out all day anyway. Couldn’t of had a better week.
Le cottage est magnifique. Qui ne rêve pas d'une "chaumière" en Irlande ? Mais ce cottage rêvé a quelques inconvénients ! Il est très mal isolé, et difficile à chauffer. La salle de bain, en particulier dont un seul des éléments du radiateur fonctionne, sur les quatre. Le reste du radiateur reste désespérément froid. Les deux robinets d'eau chaude (du lavabo et de la douche) étaient extrêmement difficile à ouvrir les deux premiers jours. A very spacious house, a few things need upgrading but would recommend it for a holiday in Achill. Location is a little remote but the stunning views make up for this.
We arrived in the dark and cold, and the key wasn't in the key box. We had to contact the homeowner, and luckily she was able to tell us where we could hide a second key. It was very cold in the house when we arrived, and we couldn't get it warm all week because the doors and windows were drafty. The living area is also open to the sky, so the heat from the two radiators escapes upwards. Some of the dishes and pots weren't clean from the previous guests. There were several dead insects (woodlice and flies) on the floor and shelves, and some woodlice were even in the bathroom. This ...more
