The house has everything you need,all the rooms are decorated to a high standard the bathrooms are also amazing. We only had one thing that we all commented on and that was that the sofa was very low and not very comfortable. However this wouldn't stop us from returning to this amazing property.
Everything was perfect. The accommodation was very clean and well maintained. The bathrooms spacious, modern and well equipped. The garden and outside area was clean and tidy and well maintained . The games room was an added to bonus for 2 teenage boys. We would be very happy to book this property again
We had another wonderful family get together at Sea Folly. It was our second stay here after many stays at the Old Lighthouse. We loved the log burner and the sofas are comfortable. The only complaint is that there isn't a footstool in this property which my elderly Mum needed. The lookout to sea and the games room made our stay even more enjoyable.
The lighthouse is a wonderful place to stay, the beds are very comfortable, well equipped kitchen and absolutely stunning views of the sea and sunsets. Great area for walking dogs. A truly amazing place to stay with lots of space for a large group.
Really enjoyed staying here. Lovely location, loved the walks to the sea front. Bungalow was cold when we arrived, heating was on low. Says in information folder that heating shouldn’t need to be altered but we were really cold so needed to alter it. Could possibly do with some better outdoor lights, especially near the steps down from the drive. Overall everything was lovely. Everything that you would need was provided even plastic storage containers. Welcome basket was above and beyond. We will definitely stay again.
Property is comfortable, convenient and reasonably priced. Not a complaint but to be of some use to the proprietors: minor repairs needed to kitchen cupboards and bathrooms and extractor fans, shower screens and window frames (the usual places domestic cleaners tend not to reach) in need of a good spring clean.
Super property which catered for our needs. One member of our group needed ground floor accommodation which suited perfectly. Location great for walks to the beach. Couldn't recommend it more favorably.
Great week in a fantastic property, ideal location (stumble to and from The Lodge for a couple of meals / drinks and a short walk with the dogs to the beach, the beach cafe and The Mariners). Well appointed cottage with good facilities, perfect for multi-generation stay, with ground floor bedroom/en suite most welcome for mother in law (who enjoyed the stay nearly as much as for her 80th birthday when a little more mobile 7 years ago!). Duvets and pillows not great, especially the first floor bedroom, need replacing but more than warm enough weather for them to be OK. Thanks, we’ll be back in ...more
