This is the third time we’ve stayed at sea salt and the house was fabulous as was the customer service. We’ve booked again for next year !
We had another great stay at Oakwood it was enjoyed by the whole family We were especially lucky with the weather being great so they all made good made good use of pool.Only wish there was a higher comfy chair for us oldies but good time was had by all look forward to next time thank you all
It had the wow factor as soon as you walked in. The Balcony looking over the sea was amazing especially as Binoculars provided. Grandchildren loved being able to see Butlins. My only criticism is, the Glass Lantern and internal white windows need a good clean. Also the outside guttering. We felt as this was a luxury holiday home that those things should be addressed. But we did have a lovely time being with our children. So close to the beach. And the games room in the garden.
The position offers the best sea views in Old Hunstanton.it is an iconic landmark. The garden is big enough for children and dog to play in . Outdoor furniture on the patio wasn’t needed in November despite the mild weather .Room to park 4 cars on gravel area. 3 bedrooms ground floor. All surprisingly spacious . Beds are so comfortable you may not want to get up. En suite generous size. One has a bath and shower. Gorgeous complimentary toiletries Utility with loo. We have had the most fantastic time at Hunny Pot with lots of wonderful family memories made. It was the first time we had visited Huntstanton and are pleased with the choice we made on cottage. From the welcome hamper to the beautiful cottage, garden and fun games room with pool table, tv, darts table and chalk board, all of my family enjoyed it. We also hired a hot tub from the company recommended and it was an extra special touch, this was in place upon our arrival and they picked it up after we left, a lovely luxury for when we retreated back to the holiday cottage after days out. Superb property with a fabulous view. So well equipped. Comfortable, stylish and yet homely. One issue though ....dealing with problems. They didn't! Mentioned problem upon arrival and upon leaving and emailed when I returned home. No communication or apology sadly.
Good value place to stay, that was off set by it being a longer walk to the shops and eatery’s of hunstanton. The beds were extremely comfortable, all areas well presented despite it being an older property. Minor concerns were the dishwasher wasn’t working correctly, no salt, holes blocked and Mirror wonky in bedroom and one of the kitchen bin didn’t shut. These were communicated when handing the keys back and appreciate the company won’t know unless they are informed. A great short stay again . This is the fourth year we have stayed at the Lodge Cottage. Great location for walks with 3 dogs, 10 minutes to the beach where dogs can run freely. Cottage clean with plenty of space for 8 adults and 3 young children. Conveniently close to the Lodge hotel for food and drinks, where staff were exceptionally friendly to all. A great break and will definitely be back
