What a wonderful Christmas we had staying at Burlton farm cottages. 14 of us in total including my 4 grandchildren. It was so special. The facilities are fantastic including the most wonderful pool and steam room and hot tub. We all swam every day. The grandchildren loved it. Its the first time ever that I have drunk a glass of champagne sitting in a hot tub on Christmas morning - truly memorable. We were a group of 7 and a dog meeting up for a family reunion. This really is a quiet spot to relax in, and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts Rachel and Gerry. Within a couple of days we could be forgiven for thinking that we owned the place ! After a tiring week-end journey up from Bournemouth, my wife, son, dog and I were delighted to find that the local Burlton Inn was 3 minutes walk away and did an excellent Sunday lunch. The accommodation was really amazing and the place had everything that you could need. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would go back myself.
We had a nice stay at the Courtyard after booking a last minute holiday. The spa was wonderful, being able to book sessions made it very easy to use and it was impeccably clean. The beds in the cottage were super comfortable and it was very handy using the drying room to get our swimming stuff dry. The dog field was really handy, clean and secure. It was fun to use the table football. The WiFi was very temperamental but didn’t improve. We walked to the pub for a meal and people were very nice there and food was good. Hi Burlton was the birthplace of my family five generations ago, they worked hard and fought hard, they run the Burlton inn. God brought me to the Burlton Spa if by chance as i was constantly receiving messages from God to repair myself and that i suffered enough but as usual i always care and love everything and everyone around me focusing on them and not me. I went in the pool, gym and literally did nothing except spend time with my partner no phones but one exception her laptop as she loves her job i made that sacrifice although i wish she didn’t have to work and we can then enjoy the wor...more
